A fun bowling alley......well.......actually, thee only bowling alley in town. But still, great staff, really family oriented place. Recommended.

We were not having a birthday party but the guys made a huge deal about me bringing in a single present for a friend. They said either we pay the party fee or put the present in the car or leave. We felt attacked and somewhat offended by their approach.

This is a great bowling alley for kids parties or just a night away. Tuesdays are open bowling. They also can turn on the black lights.

The front desk people were awesome, the bartender was super awesome. The bathrooms smelled bad and needed cleaning. Hopefully that was just a one night thing. The snack bar guy was rude with every contact including the customers after us. I tip well. The bartender received great tips from me. The snack bar guy could have received tips but he was just repeatly mean. If it was closing...there needs to be a sign that says they are closing at a certain time. The lanes were great, Galitic Bowling was cool, great shoes, great bowling balls. Great time with my girls. We look forward to coming back again. All made a great family bowling night!!! Thank you for some awesome Montana fun from Utah and Idaho.

I like Star Lanes for a number of reasons, first of all it's less than one and a half miles from my house. Second, it's inexpensive, my cousin and I played 2 games and it was only $15. Third, I was not expecting that much nachos for only $5.50, and there was more than just cheese as a topping, my cousin also had ground beef on hers, I had ground beef and black olives, green onions and tomatoes are also available (but neither my cousin or I like those) all and all I would definitely go back if I had a little money to spare again.

We were looking forward to a night bowling, and unfortunately we encountered less than par customer service upon arrival. Unnecessary conflict led to us leaving and going somewhere else. Hopefully we can enjoy bowling at this establishment sometime in the near future.

It's a decent bowling alley but they need a little work. The balls are disorganized and the prices are too high for games. They keep charging for your shoe rental for each game...I suppose if you had all your own gear there wouldnt be a problem. If your having a party the bill can rack up real fast. Besides that it's a good place to hang out on the weekend with friends.

Ball keeps getting stuck at Star Lanes. More time wasted due to ball being stuck then traveling to Anaconda or Helena, Montana to bowl. I plan on going to Star Lanes & there's hardly no open bowling they say we have leagues until 3. Then you only get from 3-5 for open bowling. Midas well go to Anaconda or Helena, Montana to bowl due to going there & there's no open bowling or ball keeps getting stuck.

The only bowling ally in town. Great people great times. The also have a nice little lounge you can relax and have a cold on. They have a reception hall for weddings, birthdays, family reunions, etc.

NOT kid friendly. Very disappointed in customer service. Definitely will not be going back and will tell all of our peers to steer clear. It’d be worth the drive to Helena for good customer service.

Was there for a birthday party for my grandson...while the bowling party went fine, my daughter paid over the amount originally quoted..okay not a huge big deal. But the party was from 12-2...and at 12:30 she ordered 3 pizzas and only got 2 delivered with the promise of the other one coming...kids were fed but the adults waited on a pizza that never came!!! The food person apparently leases the space....so no compensation for that. Just not the best place for birthday parties i guess.

To many little rugrats for Saturday night ...you don't drop your kids OUFF on a lane and all the adults sit in the BAR DRINKING ....NOT IN VIEW to keep an eye on them at all ..up to 8- 10 little ones un supervised ......cheap daycare i guess ...and rude drunk parents driving them home .....come on Butte take care of your own kids ....most rediculacious night ever .....our kids were totally over supervised......and very well behaved.....the running screaming brats some people just turn loose and the go drink is out of control. NO WHERE DID I SEE A SIGN HEY DROP OFF YOUR CHILDREN AND LET THEM DO WHATEVER THEY WANT .....WHILE YOU SIT IN A CORNER OF THE BAR ENJOYING YOURSELF .......NO ADULT SUPERVISION REQUIRED.......THE FAMILY ESTABLISHMENT WHERE YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR FAMILY........GET DRUNK THEN BRING YOUR SWEET BABIES HOME.....THEY ALL SHOULD OF RECEIVED DUI'S THEY WERE DRINKING FOR 4 HOURS ...THATS BUTTE ....WHO YA KNOW. LET'S JUST SAY THE KID'S BEHAVIOR WAS GREAT COMPARED TO THEIR PARENTS. RUDE OBNOXIOUS DRUNK AND BACK INTO THE BAR THEY WENT .....HOPEFULLY THE DRUNK DRIVERS GOT THE KID'S HOME ALIVE........I SHOULD OF EACH OF LICENSES PLATE #'s I know I will next time ......HOPEFULLY the kids are safe. Well THIS TIME.....

The bowling was fine, but really unimpressed with the young staff member that was there late. He had a pair of young lady friends there who appeared to be vaping 2 lanes over from us. After the older staff member and the bartender left, he went to the bar and got drinks for them while they were clearly underage. Cleanlilness was about average for most bowling alleys I've been too.

Bowling alley staff are very friendly and cordial, but don't order from the cafe as the guy that cooks there needs lessons on manners and how to cook more than one at a time.. always takes forever to get what is ordered.

Great environment. Bowling isn't expensive. The lanes are very nice as is the staff. There is a bar attached, and mini golf. Much fun to be had there.

Great place but you can never plan to go bowling without calling a week ahead, always closing all the lanes for any party when plenty are open. A group of paying customers just wanting a lane for an hour get turned away... To bad being the only bowling ally in town I'll plan to go to Anaconda cause it's been three times in a row showing up and getting turned away when mulitple lanes are open.

We were planning on driving from Bozeman to go bowling at Star Lanes so we called at about 4:30 to check if lanes were open, he said that a child's tournament was over at 6 and we could bowl then. We arrived at 6 o clock and the man behind the counter was very rude and told us that he could not be held responsible for an employee telling us that we could bowl at 6 and that lanes would t be open until 7. There were all lanes open except one at this point so we left. Now I probably won't be back because I can't trust what I'm told on the phone or in person.
