Inexpensive bowling options. Needs substantial renovations to be modern. Owners and mgmt are friendly but unwilling/unable to invest in modernizing and upgrading the facility. Not nearly enough seating or bowling ball space for league play.

Super disappointed in our service and experience today. Our party of 4 arrived at 5:30 and were the only people in the whole entire bowling alley. I asked for one lane, 4 pairs of shoes, and told the man behind the counter that we needed the bumpers put up on our bowling lane. He looked at me and said very rudely "we don't put up bumpers for adults!". I replied with "you don't put numbers up for adults?" he said "no! we don't put bumpers up for adults!"..... one member of our party has special needs and requires the bumpers. So I asked the man "well do you put up the bumpers up for people with special needs?" he replied that indeed they do and called out over the intercom for someone to put the bumpers up for our lane. We all get our shoes, put them on, pick out bowling balls, type our names in, use the restroom. Guess what. No bumpers. Remember,,, we are LITERALLY the only customers in the place!!! No one else! I returned to the front dest where a woman was now the only one behind the counter. I said that our bumpers were not put up yet, and she got on the intercom AGAIN for someone to put up the bumpers. Now, why is it that they even had to get on the intercom, I don't know, because we are the only people there and they very easily could have walked down to our lane to help us. But they couldn't be bothered with ACTUALLY HAVING TO WORK. After several more minutes, a young guy comes and puts the bumpers up for us. We thank him. Our party bowled two games, and the lane messed up several times each game, not clearing/resetting pins, incorrect scoring, could not delete players. The whole experience was a total thumbs down. I will not return after todays experience. It cost $35 to bowl two games and be treated rudely. There are plenty of other bowling alleys to go to. We love Frontier Lanes, and the staff there has always been accommodating to our needs while providing great customer service. I recommend that the staff of Harvest Lanes learn some customer service and learn not to judge a book by its cover! The way our situation was handled was completely insensitive to a member in our party. Absolutely no excuse for it.

I forgot that I was not in st. Louis county and indoor public smoking is allowed. When I walked in I was hit with the smell of smoke. Overall it is a clean fun place, but if you are concerned about your children being around second hand smoke, maybe don't come here.

we were told that no bumpers would be put down for us because we were all adults bowling. my brother has autism and needs the bumpers. it shouldn't even matter, the fact that he has autism. the bottom line is we are PAYING for a lane, and if we ask for bumpers it SHOULDN'T MATTER, put the bumpers down and move on. The paying customer does not need to explain to you why we are requesting the bumpers. this place had no other customers in it, there was no reason for the nasty treatment. we won't be back, and we will tell our friends about the bad customer service.

Price to bowl is reasonable. The lanes are not the best. The management personnel was not friendly at all. The people working the concessions and bar were very friendly. The food was decent. The men’s bathroom was disgusting. It is not family friendly if you intend to bring kids. Overall the place is outdated and needs an upgrade. I’ve been to several area bowling alleys in the past year and this place ranks at the bottom.

745p. Bowling was fun! Ordering the food. Not so much. When ordering the pizza, we purchased a deal featuring a one-topping pizza. We asked for hamburger. But the gal behind the counter would only let us order sausage, cheese, or pepperoni; even though hamburger was clearly an option.

Went here on a Saturday Night and only 3 lanes were being used. I was so excited to go in because I have never been inside a bowling alley with AMF Pinsetting machines. I walk in and immediately I think to myself, "Is this a time machine to 1992?" I love 1990s design. They recently got new ball returns, AMF Harmony. But I noticed that they were mounted closer to the chairs than the old ones. So there's a hole at tbe back of the ball return shell where you can see the ball bolt down the tunnel. That's a little risky; I think some kid might get his hand in there and get smacked by the ball. But getting our head out of the gutter (see what i did there? :D) and I find that the lanes were elevated off the floor. Cool design overall, fun times guaranteed. Will be returning!

This is a typical old bowling alley. The area behind the lanes is elevated and only accessible by stairs unless you go to the far ends of the alley. This is a small alley compared to others in the area. The scoring machines are old and difficult to use if you're not accustomed to them. This is a smoking location so be aware if you are sensitive to that, especially if you come during league hours as it will be smoke filled. The lanes are in good shape for their age and they will have 'Cosmic Bowling' for the kids. Food is good. They desperately need more seating. The seating is very cramped and minimal. The owners need to invest in this location and update/modernize.

Clean, smoke free, and friendly staff. We had a great time playing. Visited at 7 pm on a Friday night and it wasn't at all packed. The crowds arrived later around 9 PM.

This is one of the best places to bowl in St. Charles. The staff is always so nice and helpful. Our family loves to come here. If you check their website they do have specials all the time and are even on Groupon at times. This is a great affordable place for birthday parties also. They have brand new shoes here and this is a nice clean location. The lanes always work great and if there is an issue staff is on top of it. The snack bar has great food and good prices. There are always drink specials as well. I highly recommend this location!

Took the wife and kids for a bowling day, overall it nice and clean. Gave it 3 stars because of the public smoking, its a kid friendly environment it should be a designated area behind closed doors for smokers. Also because they made a 1 year old pay $9 bucks to bowl. WHAT?! age limit anyone smh. We went on a whim anyway but I'll stick to the usual spot for my kids health
