While this place is cheap, the entertainment is also cheap. None of it is very fun. The only upside to this place is bowling and I didnt even go bowling. The mini golf there is atrocious and I am not planning on going there again. I might go there to bowl again, but there are better places to go. This would be a great time for very little kids, but other than that it's not worth your money.

We were there for a family Thanksgiving. They had all the the main foods, Turkey, Ham, mashed potatoes, gravey. dressing, cranberries, Green beans baked with onions, rolls . . . . Good food and the kids had a blast with the games and stuff. Think they do Easter also. Great venue.

This is a mixed review. The bowling and food part of wow zone are great! Deserve 5 stars. However, the kids game and arcade area deserves only 2 if that. I was just there recently (3/4/18) and had a great time with family and friends bowling. I decide to take my kid and play some of the games. I was very disappointed in the lack of general maintenance on a lot of the machines. The ball drop games for example had multiple balls stuck in various places. Meaning that the belt that fed the drop had balls missing on the belt. It would only advance one ball spot and take your credit. Even if there was no ball there. The price for most of the machines we were able to play on was pretty high. With many taking a whole Dollar to play. I didn't bother with any refunds and just chalked it up to an experience. Overall I'd have to say it's a great place to eat or bowl! Just take caution in the game zone.

Our whole family loves everything about the WOW Zone. Pam gives that place such a personal touch and it shows. Excellent food, atmosphere and the bowling alley is so nice! We recently bought our own balls and shoes from the pro shop there and were very impressed with it.

Good service and good food. The Wow Zone was fun but the place could use some TLC. Many of the arcade games did not work and the black light mini golf was in need of repair. Many of the black lights were out and it was almost impossible to enjoy it. Next time we plan on bowling, the lanes looked very nice!

Stopped in for a burger and fries with my wife and 2 kids. Looked around, saw about 20 people at the tables in the restaurant. 30 minutes after ordering 3 burgers with fries on the side, someone finally checked on us again. Still no food. Burger and fries was the "special" for the day. My 6 year old and 2 month old were starting to lose it. After 55 minutes, no food. Looked around, saw about the same amount of people. Saw owner of the place Pam. Told her we have been waiting for food for an hour and can't wait longer. She told us she would stop our order. Didn't offer us anything for our wait.

Had a good time bowling with the family. Seemed like a lot of people were enjoying some food while they bowled although we didn't. Prices seemed reasonable and it looked like they had some good deals throughout the week. My only issue was finding a bowling ball that fit my fat fingers.

We watched our relative bowl in a tournament. He had a great time too. And his brother played in the game room during the tournament. Also they served food/drinks to others around, making it easier to stay with the ones we wanted to watch. And the bathroom was roomy and clean. They also have a restaurant with ample space for groups. I'd be willing to go back!

Great place for any age!! Bowling, pool, video games, etc! Laser tag is a blast! Fun for all ages! Great pizza! Fun atmosphere in the sports bar! I highly recommend the Wow Zone if you're in town for a visit! Close to hotels and malls!

A bit over priced for what you get. Laser tag was a fun experience. 3/4 of the blacklights on the mini golf course we're burned out which made it a bit hazardous. Several of the games were out of order but since they cost an average of a dollar per play we didn't spend a lot of time there. The bowling was fine as long as youre not as bad as I am.

If you have kids, it's a great place for the whole family. I was there for a work function & I don't have young/adolescent children. The bar was nice, it's full service (beer, wine, cocktails). The food was good. I liked the fact that it has a bowling alley, (it gave me something to do). It has alot of games, laser tag & miniature glow golf.

Generic family fun. It is a nice place to go and spend an afternoon either bowling, playing in the arcade, or having drinks at the bar. No one thing really stands out as excellent, but all services are executed well, and there is something for everyone.

This place was a scam and I honestly wanted to ask for our money back. Because our youngest is only 3 we decided to just stick to the arcade area but then soon realized only about 40% of the games actually worked. Some games were on, said they were functioning but then nothing happened after you swiped your game card and it took your money. The Jurassic Park game was rigged or the guns were malfunctioning to the point where you couldn’t win even if you tried. I don’t know what kind of business they were running there but I’m from the cities and I’m used to 90%+ of all machines functioning correctly or there is an obvious sign on it that says out of order. If this place had a sign on every machine that was not functioning properly, it would’ve been obvious enough right when we walked in that we would’ve known to abort and go else where.

The wow zone is a one stop spot for family entertainment. They have bowling, black light miniature golf, laser tag, and standard arcade games that earn you tickets that can be turned in for prizes. There is also a sports bar and a wood fired pizzeria. The pizza is average and slightly more expensive than the other pizzerias. A fair amount of the equipment in the laser tag area is broken, but one can still play. The arcade games are cheap on the tickets. Light a dollar on fire and watch it burn. That will last longer than the arcade game. Then use a second dollar bill to just by something at a dollar store for a significantly better prize.

Had my son's 1 birthday there, and they were fantastic! Party started at 12, I called at about 9 and ordered the pizzas I wanted and asked they be done at 1230, and they were all ready right on time. They placed them in the buffet style warmer just outside the room for our guest to get without taking up space in the room. Joey was the employee helping us and I give him 10 stars! Very helpful, funny and nice

This was the first place I visited for leisure when I moved to Mankato, and I had a lot of fun. The staff is really laid back and respectful, and there's a bar/restaurant available. I was with a few associates and we played a few bowling games. The lanes were clean and the atmosphere was very inviting.

Was ok. A bunch of the games were broken and the whole place needs updating. It's expensive, especially if you don't get a package. We bowled and played some arcade games but the person at the desk charged us al la cart instead of giving us a package, so we wound up doing less for more.

Normally a great place for MJBT, but Saturday wasn't enjoyable. The shot kept changing all day & the temp down on the lanes was very hot. Funneling some of the cold air from the gallery would have been beneficial. The spectators froze & the kids sweat!! The staff was very attentive as usual! Thanks!

Bowling is the best in town. Newest lanes, great private lanes and rooms for parties. Don't pass on the food. Killer pizza oven is easy to miss. The nachos are killer and feed a ton. Laser tag is nice, but is a bit small. Normal arcade fair and runs off plastic cards so you can save tickets from one visit to another so you can get the 10000 ticket super soaker you always wanted.

Food used to be great last two time we went it was terrible! Wife found plastic in her cold pasta! Got rid of the only sandwich I liked there the hot sausage. Reuben was cold and corn beef was chewy and just did not taste good

Food was great, but only about half the arcade games worked. I'll do my best to describe the broken machines. Pirate machine back right corner of arcade. Some ball drop game, right next to the pirate game, also the machine was open so I was able to access the I side of the ball drop machine. And a dino dino game that wouldn't launch the ball.

6/23/18 4:45 pm No real complaints but curious why a sm. fountain drink cost me $ 3.24 ? Then when I asked about straws the gal with the half way down her back brownish hair gives me the " are you blind " look, doesnt say a thing, and jerks her finger in the direction of the dispenser. It was so low on straws it appeared empty. There were 3 in there. I know because I had to dump it out to find a straw. Next time I'll get a pop out of the machines there...cheaper.

I've been to WOW Zone with my family a few times and the kids always have a good time. I just went recently with one of my teams from work as part of our team building day and had a blast. Great deal for bowling as a group and laser tag. They were super friendly and helpful to find us the best deal and gave us some extra time on the lanes!!

Come here pretty regularly with friends to go bowling. Some of us bring our own balls and the staff are almost always great to work with. Usually we can get a lane no problem, and most times the servers are very prompt and curteous about making sure we are covered for food and beverage. Sometimes we order food and pop/beer, and sometimes just water. Usually service is pretty great, but today not so much. The place is/was not busy by any means. Yet, the server working today spent most of her time chatting with the lady behind the bar. We did not once get stopped at to see if we needed anything which has been custom service standard for many years. The rest of the staff were great, but the server was sub-par. We came in to bowl and get food, but we had to get food elsewhere in Mankato today. We are not mad, just disappointed.

I love taking my kids to this place, and they are always asking. They have bowling, laser tag, and video games. In addition to this they also have a food court, and a separate sports bar. If your looking for something for the whole family night thing, this is the perfect place for when it's not ideal to be outside.

One of the best establishments in the Mankato area for bowling, mini golf and laser tag. They have a small arcade and food and drinks available. The pizza is really good. They have some awesome specials that rotate. We did the unlimited bowling, mini golf and laser tag for 13$ a person. It ran from 5pm to 8pm. It was great bang for buck. I recommend checking this place out!

Took our son's here for their last big night before school starts. There are a lot of fun activities and games, I'll give them that. And the kids working were all very helpful. The problem is, several of the games were broken or eating our money and not giving us tickets. The staff were quick to refund, which I really appreciated. Prize selection is pretty decent for kids but man oh man you can drop money quickly here! My boys had a good time, that's what counts. I'm sure we'll be back, next time for supper too. We never made it out of the arcade this time around. We didn't try bowling or laser tag or mini golf either but that appeared to be a bit the draw for the teens and preteens.

I bowl on a couple leagues at Wow Zone and spend a lot of my time there. Wow Zone has the best owner (Pam). Pam is not an owner who spends all of her time enjoying her life outside of the building. She is hard working but laid back, fun, and cares about so many people. She basically lives at the Wow Zone and bowls on league. The business world needs more people like her. Great ownership. The staff at Wow Zone are all very friendly, and it's fun to build relationships with everybody. Though some of the wait staff could use more training, and some of the food could be better, overall it's a wonderful place for families, league members, college students, and company parties.

This is a great WOW zone place to bring the family. If you want to make an afternoon out of it then I would suggest the lazer tag along with a game or two of bowling. They also have an arcade, bar/restaurant, a quick snack area. But the Mankato WOW ZONE also features a second private bowling alley that is kind of in the back of the place. It usually offers your own bar and waitress to keep the food and beer rolling.

Wow Zone! Where to start? I love this place it's great for parties, dates and spending a rainy day. I would love to give them a 5 star rating, but they need to work on the Wow! Zone staff in the bar/restaurant. The last few times we were there for food it was cold, and service was bad.
