Super cute little place to get food, drinks, and do a little bowling. Although there aren't that many lanes, we went on a Friday evening and got a lane right away. We ordered pork tacos, which were excellent and had a few drinks. The bartender was amazing and so helpful!
Great fresh beer, good food, right in the neighborhood.
THL staff is the cherry on top
The marketing company skimmed my phone and big-brothered me. Merp. If you're going to pit the Blue Bee against the rhino Preytekah at least pay for my bowling shoes. Next time I'm wearing those dogs out the door. Boo on your hulking bulking. Your menu's ok. My friends mental and you should check IDs so I don't have to worry.
Can't go wrong with a place that has beer and bowling! They are kid and pet friendly. They have a great burger, and some great brews. Their beers are more varied than the standard IPA, porter, ale ale, etc... Which is nice to see. It's also in a neat building with a cool look. Worth stopping in for a pint!
Really love this place. My husband had the walleye tacos. I had the Naan chicken tacos. Both incredibly flavorful and both terrific. Great beer selection. Low key atmosphere. One of my favorites.
Great food, great service and very good craft beers brewed by them. They also have beers that are aged in whiskey and wine barrels, very tasty.
This is a really cool spot! Have lived here for three years now and somehow never made my way in. Great vibe inside, great beer, and fun food!
This is a pretty cool place! Its definitely a more modern take on a bowling alley with laminate flooring and a restaurant style booth at every pair of lanes. There is a bar and restaurant somewhat seperated from the bowling lanes. Modern score keeping equipment. There is a small parking lot on the side of the building but if you drive here be prepared to find street parking. They offer a full menu.
I love all the staff, the entire menu, and the entire beer list (which changes - but it's always dank). Never had a bad time here - awesome place to toss a few back and roll some balls.
Just a little on the spendy side, but food is good so it's not a huge deal
Great beer in a really unique and interesting setting with a bowling alley inside.
Ask if Jenna is working! Best server ever
Delicious food. Great beer. Wonderful staff. Amazing happy hour. BOWLING!
Always a good selection of local specialty beers, plus their own brews, happy hour discounts, good food, and bowling... Lively, fun place with good service.
Friendly staff. Lots on tap. No frills bowling (if interested). Love this place.
Good food. Good beer. Good bowling.
I first noticed this spot while delivering here for work. The food couldn't have been better, we had various burgers, they were cooked to order and delicious! As with the fries way 2 go THL! Drinks were good as well. Servers were polite and very responsive. We rolled three games and had an absolute blast! A cool, clean environment and a wonderful memory for a first time guest.
Their cheese curds were seasoned very well with a hearty marinara sauce to accompany it. Sweet potato fries were very good. Chicken strips were very crispy and well seasoned. I plan on stopping by again the next time I'm in the area.
Great food and a fun local hangout for bowling.
Amazing food, beautiful woodwork and chandelier. I haven’t bowled here, but they have a spectacular black bean burger and fries! A must go to while in south minneapolis.
Great beer, food, and ATMOSPHERE ❣
Fun and good food..try the Masala Mama beer..
Don't care for the menu all that much. But the townhall beer is great, and a good selection of spirits make for good cocktails. This is also my favorite place to bowl in the Twin cities. The lanes are very well maintained and good approaches as well.
Great food and excellent service
Great food and beer
Very cozy but also upbeat atmosphere, complete with delicious food, a bar, and bowling! I went to just the restaurant portion and was satisfied with their service and delicious food. I recommend trying it out!
Excellent service. Fun menu with broad variety and unexpected combinations - very foodie oriented. Quality food, excellent value, large portions. Nice environment. Definitely on my list of places to visit when I'm back in town.
Blackened walleye was awesome. Bowling was fun. Great time.
Nice quaint place with cheap bowling and delicious beer!
Good beer and good burgers. Acoustics can be a little rough if it's busy, but not enough to put me off going.
I remember this place as Skylanes growing up. Haven't been here since it changed. What a cute place, Our server was super nice and very knowledgeable regarding questions about the old Sky Lanes Bowling. The food is fantastic, We will definitely be back for Food and Bowling. Brought back so many memories of living in this beautiful city. We called it the place where every body knows your name. Sat by the window and saw some people we knew from when we lived here. ❤️
Bowling and good food. Always a great atmosphere. They have the best sweet potato fries I've had in the Twin Cities.
0 no steak sauce, np Heinz sauce, then still tipped. Friendship was k
Great food came in late night after work wonderful customer service!
Great service and cool spot. Food is great too. They forgot my fries and brought some out shortly after free of charge. Even if they didn't give them to me for free I'd still come back.
A real surprise to find this place in the city. Excellent food and creative cocktails. A unique atmosphere with a couple lanes in back!
Great service, super fun bowling and delicious food!
Visited here many times and it never disappoints. Fantastic food, good drinks, clean and consistent. It's my goto place for lunch whenever someone from out of town comes in for work. Absolutely recommend it!
Perfect bar + bowling combo
Great place to roll some stones and have something tasty to drink and eat.
Many house made specialties. The beer flights are fun. Service is attentive and quick.
Great food, great drinks and good bowling. My wife and I have gone every week this summer. We've never had a bad experience.
My ragamuffin chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries were tasty. Husband was pleased with his double burger and fries. Server was very personable. Plan to bring the grandkids here for bowling and lunch.
Stopped by my old stomping grounds of 30+ years ago. Happy to see the place is better than ever. Great beer selection and the food is great too.
Great place to roll a few frames, drink some excellent beer and eat great food!
Had fun. 2 very interesting folks to visit with. Excellent service.
Best burger ever. Cool atmosphere. All kinds of beers. And you can bowl if you want.
Awesome bar and great bowling! Love it
The dry rub chicken wings with the best I've ever had accompanied by I believe homemade blue cheese dressing and ranch..... I'll be back
Cool local place. Try the pretzel!
A bowling alley that is also a nice restaurant? Lane side dining? Great craft beer? I'm happy to have this place in my neighborhood.
Always had a great time with this great place with great friends. Milly, zeba, ob, mongs, shaziya, rotlu this place will remember you guys like forever
Good food
Really great place in the city. Sometimes you have to wait depending on people wanting to bowl. Otherwise great atmosphere and you have a server that comes to your lanes. I love this place
Always spectacular food!!
Excellent food and service that also come with a bowling alley!
Hidden little gem of a restaurant. Great for Sunday brunch.
The food selection seems to have been trimmed down of late. We live in the neighborhood and still enjoy going but wish they would tidy up the menu a bit. Reasonable (not expansive) local beer selection. Bowling if you feel so inclined.
They closed early on a Sunday... ...for an employee appreciation party. And you could tell because that appreciation is paid forward to the customers. We showed up with a large party and were given plenty notice they were closing early that night. Even putting our name down for bowling right away to get us on the list. We didn't even have to hassle with closing out our tab when going to bowl, the server just figured it out. It felt like a neighborhood bar. Town Hall Lanes is in a beautiful building with sunset light filling the bar area and wood furnishings on nearly everything in the bowling area. After going here you might have a hard time enjoying the larger bowling alleys.
Service (once again) was tragic. We were waiting for several minutes for someone to greet us and seat us at a table. When the server finally came over, she made eye contact with us, then cleared dirty dishes off of an empty table and brought them to the kitchen before seating us. The service never got any better.
Nice spot. They accommodated a large group quickly. The food was great and the service too.
We ordered the cheese curds, ahi tuna sandwich, and the house burger. Everything was excellent. We were seated right away and the server was great about checking with the kitchen about my food allergies. I felt comfortable. If we come back to Minneapolis, we will definitely eat here again.
Great food and drinks. Small amount of lanes however usually can get you in!
Went for the beer and it was incredibly good. I'm a big fan of any place I can get a dark beer from (porter or stout) and to have options is even more exciting. Beer really was good. Unfortunately didn't have time to bowl, but I'm sure that would have been a great time. Service was good. Nothing I could complain about. 5 stars based on the atmosphere and the good beer. I have not eaten here so unable to comment on food!
We went here fairly late at night. I tried a couple of the different beers available and they were both good. The bowling alley was closed for the night, which was a bit of a bummer as we had intended to bowl, but understandable as it was late. I'd love to come back here and spend more time here. The place was nice. Lots of seats, and a good beer selection. Looks like a place you could easily spend an afternoon/evening with friends.
Fun atmosphere, interesting variety of food selections as well as drinks.
Just ok.Last night the lanes were overly waxed, and there was the oil all over everything. My hands kept slipping and smelled weird. The food is so so, good enough to eat yet I won't brag about it. We go here when Memory Lanes is full and we have an itch to get our family bowl night on.
I didn't experience bowling so I can't comment on that. But the food we got was decent and fair priced, just a few of the starter items to share. The beers we're ok at best and our wait staff was nice, but my major complaint was that no one told us about any happy hour specials. Why would I want to pay $10 for a sampler of 5 beers when I can get 3 full sized beers for $3 each? Why would we order specialty beers that are off the happy hour menu for full price when we can get beer for $3? I wish our waitress would have told us, since I don't think I will be returning because of this. Just be straight forward with us!
Went to bowl, but ended up eating dinner and getting drinks. Everything on the menu sounded great! The waitress gave great recommendations! Fantastic beer selection! The poutine was delicious and massive! Great atmosphere.
Good atmosphere and Friendly people. Lacking in Domestic Beer selection (MGD) and no Dr Pepper. Fix those 2 things and it's a 5 star place !
Cool atmosphere and good food, cocktails and appetizers were a bit expensive.
When you purchase drinks at the bar, and then get told that you have to move for “their customers” to a section of the bar that is closed and therefore can’t purchase more beverages.... thanks Bro...
Good spot for a rainy afternoon of bowling.
Goof food great beer awesome atmosphere!
Nice bowling. Nice ppl. Nice waiters. Epic style bowling
Nice lanes accompanied by good food and service.
Good food, good beer.
The sweet corn nachos will Blow. Your. Mind.
Neat, Good Service . Poutine never has Melted Cheese. Especially in Canada. Gross! The fries and meat and gravy are excellent variety of Poutine. But the Curds need to be separated and firm. NEVER MELTED. if I wanted DISCO FRIES I WOULD HAVE ORDERED DISCO FRIES.
Minneapolis has no shortage of interesting restaurants. This place is no exception.
Service in the bar was slow, the food was amazing!
Super fun place to bowl, eat and drink with friends. Their happy hour bowling is an awesome deal!
Excellent food. The staff - just cool, friendly people. Music is just right....
We love town hall lanes and go there all the time. The space is very cool inside, the wait staff is funny and attentive, and the beer and food are high quality. If you go, try the ruben egg rolls. They're amazing! They also give a military discount to those in uniform - helpful info for people on the nearby base. Edit: they no longer sell the Reuben egg rolls. :(
Best in Twin Cities - try the lamb burger!
Fun atmosphere throughout. Fun to go from bar to restaurant to bowling. Feels like a new place everytime.
The food is always on point. They brew the best beers in town. Service is impeccable!
I've had an okay time in the past but tonight was exceptionally horrible. We ate dinner then bowled. There was a lane of 8 kids next to us with the parents in the bar area. The kids were out of control. When I went to complain there were 2 others saying the same thing. No apology from anyone. When we were paying our bill (over $150, dinner and bowling) we were asked if we had fun....NO! Still no apology from anyone. Service in the restaurant was great but they bowling alley experience was HORRIBLE!
The server is very rude. I joined the game after my friends finished one game already. I checked out after playing two games. The lady who served our table directly put three games on my bill without checking or asking me. I told her that I only played two games, and she said “Every body at least played two games” and still didn’t want to check the record. Luckily the other guy checked the recorded and confirmed that I only played two games. I don’t think this lady knows how to respect customers, not even people. I don’t want to conclude a discrimination in this place just because one person, but at least they didn’t hire the right people to do the work.
I had water and wings. Both were rather tasteless. The ambience was nice. The service was okay. I'm willing to return to try a real meal. The others at my table had good looking food.
Cheap greesy food served late, friendly staff, overall a fun spot for a casual get together.
Great bowling alley! Beer selection is good. Not a big fan of the food...
This is a great neighborhood restaurant and bowling lanes. They have great beer that they brew and you can get comfort food galore. The prices are average for the area. The bowling is fun and very family friendly.
Great place and great service but could be bettered by some integration of the pint club membership benefits from the Town Hall Brewery.
Delightful atmosphere. Wonderful staff. Good food.
Cool place. Great place to get a bite and bowl a couple games.
Town hall is great. Love the bartender Matt. He was phenomenal. Great suggestions on bevs and food. Thank you Matt. We will be back to see you soon!!!!
Was there for a work party. It was lots of fun and the staff was great. Very attentive and available with great attitudes. We will be back next year for sure
Great time! Love the wood tables for eating in the lane seating area. We will definitely be back!
Thanks so much for a delicious lunch!
I loved this place! Food was amazing! Very beautiful establishment! Prices where reasonable! Bowling was awesome! Very nice and well kept! Had a great time! Tons of fun and highly recommend!
I love the spaciousness of this location. Service has been great the handful of times I've been here. It's in a quaint part of town. Next time bowling gets suggested within my circle of friends I definitely want to try this place.
The cheese curds were really great. The spinach and goat cheese salad was really good too. And the waitress, Kara, was super patient and friendly. Atmosphere was good. Could use a deep cleaning. But nothing serious.
Reserved the last 4 lanes and space near the shoe counter for a birthday party from 4-7 PM. Food was good. Staff was great. Stayed on top of drink orders and was VERY patient with all the kids running around.
Great atmosphere, cocktails and apps but the service was a little slow
Nice bar & bowling alley. The food was good. At the bowling lane had some issues but the staff addressed it quickly.
Great food, staff is awesome.
I really enjoyed playing there. Good crowd!
Good food, good service, good ambiance, good beer.
You can count on having a good time when you go here.
We love this place. Great cheesy flat bread and always a selection of craft beer.
No parking!!!! Use Uber. Place too small no good if you we more than 5 person! I dont recommend:(
Great food and wonderful service. Highly recommend both types of nachos and the beer flight for only $10 is a steal. Would definitely go back!!
Disappointed in the food and service. We love Town Hall Brewery, and Lanes is within walking distance of our house, so we hoped it would comparable when we moved here. Unfortunately, each time has been underwhelming. The last two times that I've ordered burgers I've had to ask twice for toppings because they were not added (onions, tomato) and the burgers were very pink despite asking for well-done. Tonight topped the cake when a cherry stem came out of the ketchup bottle with my ketchup (??) The service is hit or miss, usually friendly enough but I often feel like I'm bothering someone just by being there. Bar service has always been great. Beer is excellent, and that is why we return and why errors have been forgivable in the past.
Like other comments. Wrongly accused of not paying our bill and then accosted by the bartender. ( bartender the last time I went there was creepy and would not leave my friend and I alone and kept trying to buy us drinks while he was working. I told him I could pay for my drinks, and to stop bothering us)
I had the Double (something) burger, fries and two cokes. I'm not sure if they charged for the second coke, my boss picked up the tab. The burger was awesome and the fries were great. And the waitress was super nice.
Great bowling lanes, even better beer and food. Just like every other location, Town Hall Lanes doesn't fail to impress. Go to this brewery, have a good time, and realize why you'll be going back. We've had a variety of types of beer and types of food and absolutely nothing has disappointed. Wonderful staff at every location is the final piece that makes Town Hall an instant favorite!
Good beer. Service a bit slow. Food was decent. Bill wasn't bad.
Fantastic beer made in MPLS and pub food with great bowling.
One of my favorite spots for a beer and dinner. I usually get the ragamuffin fried chicken sandwich which is devine but I ventured for the curry chicken tacos. They were outstanding to say the least. Great beer list. I highly recommend the masala momma, one of the best beers in the city!
Their craft beer selection and flatbreads(especially the Tai one) make an irresistible combination!
The bartenders, Mike and Matt are of the utmost for their professions. They serve the neatest cocktails, down to the strongest drinks. Always attentive to your needs and quick with the finest wit. They serve the finest in house beer in town, and the food is creative, mouth watering, and at an amazing price. If you still have time for your fancy, you can pick up a game of bowling with nostalgia reminiscent of the 1960's with all the technology of today. Great place to bring the family and be able to relax knowing you'll have the time of your life everytime!
Great staff and food! The fries yum! Bowling is fun too!
Great environment and ingenious idea to keep a few bowling lanes from the original venue. Food is very tasty. Beer is their own and tasty as well. I am thoroughly full!
Really cool atmosphere, good food. great root beer.very good service.
Cool space, really cool bar, and good appetizers and beer. We went on a Saturday night around 9 PM and there was plenty of room to sit.
Town Hall Lanes is a local gem, serving up creative food and a versatile tap list. While I've never bowled a frame here, this is a favorite neighborhood destination for a beer and a bite. The pork naan tacos are heavenly. Sit at the bar if you feel like watching a game and chatting with your knowledgeable bar tender about the newest beers on their tap list.
My favorite bar! Great happy every weekday from 3-6: house beers are $3.50 and $2 off apps. Awesome pub fries (ask for them as an app specifically). The brewers double burger is also amazing. Good service, good bowling, great atmosphere. My coworkers and I go all the time because we can put tables together and talk easily without being drowned out by music. Best bar ever! The other Town Halls in the cities are also good but this is my favorite.
Great food, beer selection, atmosphere, bowling alley (lanes needed to be waxed though), at reasonable prices. Great place!
Town hall lanes is super fun. It's a small bowling alley with old and new charm. Hint, check groupon for some summer fun.
Love this place. Great people, great service. Giving 4 stars due to food and drink menu. Really good, but I am always feeling I wish there was one or two more options to consider... But its the local spot, and I really love the people there. Lots of love.
This place is awesome. High quality servers. The walk around with purpose and smiles on their face. The food is great. The bowling is fun. The atmosphere is electric. Kudos to the management!!
Great atmosphere. The food was ok the bowling was fun with a great set up for kids and adults.
Just finished a plate of sweet corn, guac. and assorteds appetizer for my meal. Was DELICIOUS!! Just enough to fill me without feeling stuffed. Noise level even with bowling going on was quite tolerable! Hubby had the Heidelbuerger and fries plus a local brew. No complaints from this table. Will be back often even tho it's a 30 minute drive. Love this place!!
Food and atmosphere was good. It sort of smells like feet, which I guess you have to expect a bit. Was accused by a waitress of not paying for my food and tipping less than 20% which were both untrue so that was weird and a bit annoying. Other than that it's a pretty good restaurant.
Great place for bowling. Nice benches, not overcrowded, and the waiter was great. I love the atmosphere, way more chill than many other bowling spots. We didn't have anything to eat so we'll definitely try out the food next time.
Great beers and fun bowling! The equipment is well-kept. Went in a Saturday and had to wait over an hour for a lane, but we enjoyed beers during the wait.
This was a fun afternoon with kids. The server was attentive and accommodating with our large confusing group. The food and beers were good and bowling was fun. They could set up bumpers for specific players, which is nice with kids!
We hosted a party at Town Hall Lanes last weekend. The staff was flexible and accommodating during the planning process and everyone that helped us particularly our waitress (sorry I forgot her name) was beyond helpful. The space seemed private enough in the “lounge” and the lanes are great. We had so much fun! Thanks for making this a memorable event.
Excellent happy hour deals.
Food was pretty good, service was very good, for once, and the beer choices are also really good. Had the chicken tender flight, different sauces to try and dry rub wing.
Try the dry rub wings. Seriously. Top notch. I'm usually not a dry guy, but these.... Try them.
Advertised as open until 1am so we took a $14 Uber to the place. They closed early on us because they didn't get enough business that night. Very very disappointing. The manager even answered the phone and was still there as we sat outside, but did not want to open the door for us...even though they were supposed to be open.
Nice bowling alley, good food, good beer menu.
Great bowling, great food and of course, great beer!
The bartender here makes a very good old fashioned. Maybe a tad on the sweet side, but delicious
Food selection have been standardized since they've opened more locations. Used to get the Nokomis east chicken sandwich here all the time. Their beer is decent bowling was a bit crowded when I tried that. Service has always been excellent though.
Food is creative and delicious! Great for beer and cider.
Highly recommend Chris as a server. He’s one of the best I’ve had in the Cities. Helped up spice up the pretzel since we like a lot of heat. He was so considerate and we will be back!
The food was very good, staff was very entertaining put up with our team and treated us as if they wanted us to come back
When you first pull up to the bar, it doesn't seem like there should be a bowling alley in the back of the building. It only has 10 lanes, but it is a little hidden gem. They have quite a range of beers and cocktails. The food is really good. The tables to eat at in the bowling section are terrible. I get why they are made like that, so you can walk by the table to get to the bowling, but it is awful to eat or drink something and the bench your sitting on is 3 feet away from the table your food and drink sit on.
Good bar food and friendly neighborhood tavern atmosphere. Kid friendly and lots of families.. Nice little bowling alley attached. Not fancy but very enjoyable.
Great atmosphere
A friend and I went here for a couple of beers, and some good food. We enjoyed the atmosphere, which is unique with a bowling alley and a bar?! the prices were reasonable, the food was good, the beer was tasty, and we had a good time. I can't speak to the bowling, but it's there if you feel like rolling the old ball a couple of times.
Great beer and food. Tried 3 of their brewery beers and all we're delicious. Had the Thai flatbread and Maharajah curry flatbread. Both had lots of flavor. Fun atmosphere.
Uses frozen chicken on a fresh pizza, but presentation on apps was great. Beer was amazing. Get that growler game going!!
