Park Tavern is a neighborhood favorite! They've got great food, a fun list of specialty cocktails and everything else you think of when you hear the word tavern. Bowling is really fun but it gets really busy at night (especially on the weekends) so try to plan ahead if you can. Their tap beers are rotating, which I love because it is always fun to try new beers. Check it out if you are in the area!

Here's the deal with Park Tavern - the food is mostly a 3 star scene, but the overall bowling, friendliness and fun aspect make this 4 stars for sure. FOOD ONLY you expect regular bar and grill food. Here's a picture of the club and the famous deviled eggs. They're both totally fine for what they are. I would say the SPECIAL BURGERS (the ones where the cooks are competing) are huge and fun so don't miss those. BOWLING is always great, it's a fantastic place for GROUP EVENTS. The PIZZA is exactly what you want a a bowling alley, thin crust, square cut, delicious.

A little bit expensive but really fun! I love the old school feel and decor. We had a group of 8 and bowled across two lanes. This bowling alley had a feature I've never seen before. We would take turns bowling on both lanes. It would switch each time we were up. A great way to keep the whole group talking and intermixing. Loved it!

We regularly visit as a family because my son likes coming here to eat. The food isn't great but it's ok for bar food. Tonight we had an awful experience. We arrived at 6pm and sat ourselves in the dining room, by 625 pm we were back in our car and driving to another restaurant. That entire time, not one member of the staff came to our table to check on us or bring us water, when we flagged down a server for help she brushed us off. All the tables around us had drinks but we're not having their orders taken and looked visibly angry. This is unacceptable and unprofessional! I understand that they were busy and in the weeds, but someone from the staff needs to come bring us water or tell us they are busy and they will be with us when they can. We wasted over 20 minutes hoping someone would help us and had to take our son who was now upset somewhere else. We went a busy Parkway Pizza and had food and drinks within 15 minutes of arriving with great and attentive service. I'm done with the Park Tavern.

Not happy with the bar staff. They close the kitchen without giving the customers any warning, especially when they decide close it early. When I arrived, I responsibly asked when the kitchen closed. Later, I tried to order food a half hour before normal kitchen close, and I was subsequently informed they closed early. Now, I can reasonably understand the logic behind closing early, HOWEVER, it's the reasonably courteous thing to inform you patrons. I asked the bartender why he didn't ask bar customers if they wanted any food before the decided to close early. His response was, "we don't give any heads up." I had wanted to order a sandwich for my wife to take to work the next day. Well, I've been taking my business elsewhere ever since. This incident occurred six months ago. It still bothers me to this day. Hence; I needed to leave this review.

We got a membership for less than $40 for the whole summer. One membership is good for 6 people for an hour everyday (at anytime) until October and we got it in May! Best purchase ever! Also, affordable drinks, and great music!!

The fathers day brunch was too expensive for what you got on the menu ribs to dry, watermelon with seeds, corn ( should have at least been corn on the cob)not even a dessert cookie. Then they added the tip to the bill at 18%. I should be able to put what I want for a tip! I could’ve bought burgers and chicken and salad to feed more than my family of five for way under $151. Bad picnic gone bad!

Cheap bowling on Sundays and there breakfast is quite reasonable and good. What's not to like about eating brunch and bowling while you are at it? Great old school feel to the atmosphere. Staff is always friendly whether you play one game or ten. I always enjoy myself when I come here!

Park Tavern has become one if our favorite places to stop. We had one incident where we found hair in our food but the manager apologized and comped the meal right away besides that it is definetly a place i would recommend. Its definetly one of our go to spots now.

Nice bowling alley, but the space between lanes is tight. If you have a group larger than four, it may be tight if the lanes are at all busy. Otherwise, it works. Parking is near impossible if it is peak time. Food . . . we didn't eat here.

I am unsure why they'd put us between 2 families, one with three obnoxious kids and one with 5 small children who all hung out together in front of the bowling aisle... when the whole place was otherwise empty. Both families kept moving into our space and it wasn't a good experience. Otherwise we've had good experiences the other times we've bowled here.

It was nice to find a place to have a little family fun activity on Christmas Eve. I understand that most places close early, and it totally makes sense, however it's nice that there are few places like this one that still cater to people who want to go out and have a little fun bowling or something similar on Christmas Eve

Great gift card deal during the holidays. Okay food - used to be better before they changed their menu. I go there for HH more than anything. Only thing that sucks is it is basically a dead zone for your phone. I can't get service in there and their WiFi is terrible.

Absolutely terrible onion rings. I pick them up to take a bite, and the entire thing disintegrates into a greasy blob. The inner onion was a soggy mess and just fell out exactly like a wet noodle. I give it 1 star for a semi-decent taste. Would not recommend. Kitchen Manager - go back to the drawing board, read some books, watch some videos, and start over with how to make quality onion rings.

Great bowling venue. Lots of room for those not bowling to hang out, watch, and wait for their turn up. There's enough bar length in the bowling alley, but my one complaint is that the restaurant part of the establishment is separate from the bowling alley and a lot of the bar. And that's not clearly labeled. I may or may not have been looking for my friends in the restaurant, and then seen them over the bar and in the alley, then had to navigate my way out and around to them.

This is one of the best bowling joints for the suburban MN in St Louis Park and so close to our home in Hopkins. We have been there as a couple, couple of times and I had been to this place last year, to watch the super bowl finals. They have a very organized parking place and you will get a spot for most of the time. We had one of our friends’ birthday yesterday and we brought a group of 12 along with us all the way from Woodbury to here just for bowling. The Park Tavern people were very accommodative right from the start while we made our phone reservations. We had initially requested for a 6 PM and then changed to 7 and then at 6.45, changed it to 7.30 and they didn’t lose a spec of their patience in the process. One of our cars couldn’t find a parking that we had to drive nearby to park near Reddy Rents. While we tried to check in, the bearded gentleman at the front-desk had the calmness and patience of a sage, putting up with our questions and waiting for us while we bought the Groupon coupons(1 hour 6 people with one large 4 topping pizza for $35). He was also nice to proactively advise us not to buy 4 coupons as they wouldn’t stack the additional 2 for the extra one hour. We got our shoes and we hit the bowling lanes straight away. I rate this place one star less as the pizzas seemed to be more of a give away and not something that had a lot of effort put into it and the music level was loud if not too loud. With the bowling experience, mo complaints at all!

Helpful staff. Many lanes to bowl on. Great place to start in a league at. Only thing is open bowling is hard to come by since they have events often. Wouldn't be a bad idea to call ahead if planning to bowl. For the restaurant portion of the place... They have a nice selection of food and a full bar. It's a good place to watch the game. The bar... theirs a separate area that's just a bar. Has the essential dart boards and pool tables.

Park Tavern has been great for years. It is a place you can hangout with coworkers after work for happy hour or friends onto the late night. They have bowling and the 19th lane (bar). The food is great and reasonably priced plus they have top notch pizza.

It's like 3 completely different establishments connected via tunnels, each one with its own culture and decor. There's a restaurant, a bowling alley, and a bar. The wings and pizza were good. The bar had arcade machines and skee ball. It was a great venue for a work party with 50+ people.

As a long time patron of this establishment, I am disappointed in the direction it has taken. The food has become sub par, and the whole place is run down and dirty. I could see past all that if there weren't an infestation of fruit flies and dirty tap lines in both bars. There is a major overhaul needed if they want to become relevant again. Too many other local establishments have great food, friendly service, and a clean environment for the PT to even be a contender anymore. It's sad, cause I used to really love it here.

Service was terrible. Was jot that busy yet it took over 15 minutes for three of us to get our drink order and any apps. Then we seems forgotten again as it was time for another round. Plus Summer Shandy's were $7.00 for a 22oz beer, during happy hour if they had one??? Food has been good other times I have gone. Did not eat this time. I'll go elsewhere next time.

A: Great outdoor dog friendly seating, decent beer selection, and good service..That is pretty much all 3 stars and why I keep coming here in the summer. B: disappointing food selection..pretty much a little less quality than what you would expect at Perkins. Prices do reflect the quality though so can't complain.. Stick to their burgers and beer and you won't be terribly disappointed. ( I have seen reviews raving about their breakfast menu..but never been there for breakfast.) They do have bowling also if you are into that. I guess if I was really eager to bowl they would get a 4th star.

Went there to bowl today on a Saturday at 2 pm. We were told 15-20 minutes (were third on the list we saw) as a large party was ending. 20 minutes later they appeared to be cleaned up and were starting to see new bowlers bowling. One employee said we could probably get a lane so we approached the counter and were told that it would be a few minutes. We waited another 20 minutes and left after it appeared they still didn’t have a lane available for us even though there were 8 or so unassigned lanes. Not sure what this establishments strategy was but don’t expect any customer service.

Went to the park tavern as a work party. The place was really loud and it felt like they had tried to squeeze in as many bowling lanes as possible so it felt pretty cramped, and the chair couldn't swizzle which was kinda annoying. The food was really good, I recommend the boston cream pie. Staff was on top of it when the pins malfunctioned or we had trouble with the keypad, a lot of the buttons stick, so you need to hold them or press repeatedly. In general good happy hour prices, and a fun place to go bowling if you don't mind bumping into your neighbors to much.
