Just a family oriented fun place. I mean it's a bowling alley. So I think you can imagine what to expect. Having said that. It's very clean. The staff are very nice and helpful. And they do serve food and drinks.

This place has the worst service. The staff is rude and disrespectful. I went to the front desk and was told there was going to be a 15 minute wait. He was very rude when he told me the wait time and turned his back on me. I waited for over an hour until I walked out. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Shut this place down immediately.

I have tried to like this place on so many occasions being it is so close to home and offers so many activities. Extremely poor service and bartenders don't make good drinks. The only reason why I'm giving it so many stars is because their pool tables actually have good felt on them and I like their idea that you win a free game bowling by knocking down a gold pin.

The bowling lanes themselves were not well manicured and bowling by the game instead of unlimited is relatively expensive compared to similar venues. Like others have said, the bartenders will not accept US passports, stating that "Yellow papers" need to accompany them to be valid. This is something that no bartender has ever asked me or my friends before, as the existence of such a document is near mythical for anyone who has to carry a passport. If you look young, expect subpar service and excuses.

The was a lot of great things about this place, like the fact that there are 30+ lanes and we ordered the Nachos which were delicious! Also the server was a younger guy and he was really nice. The reason I'm giving this place 3 stars is because the guy behind the counter was kind of rude not very helpful and seemed annoyed for no reason at all. I'll definitely come back but if the service behind the counter is the same it will probably be the last time. I don't want to spend my hard earned money on people who don't deserve it.

Lanes were nice, but didn't have a good experience. I went up to the bar with my passport because my license was expired, and I didn't want to give them an expired ID. They refused service from me (I look like a teen too) and said I needed yellow or white papers along with my passport: 1. I got my passport 2 years ago (I'm 26) and they DO NOT give you papers with a passport; only when renewing a license. If this was a corporate decision, they need to change it for people who are not from this state or county because I can guarentee they won't have papers with their passports-there is no such thing. 2. I bartend and am an Administrative Assistant as well and have read the MN liquor laws for reports and I know the MN Best Practices program for selling liquor. The bartender wasn't even friendly, but did apologize. The lane I was in also broke twice and we had to restart out lane a few times. People offered to buy me drinks because they knew me, but I didn't want to give the place any more business; I almost walked out with one more game to spare.

It’s really old bowling alley and I hate how they tried to make it wheelchair accessible and I hate their efforts to accommodate it so it is more friendly to customers with disabilities.

Every time I go to cedarvale Lanes it's very fun they have Fritz Bar and Grill attached to it so you can get drinks as well as appetizers or burgers or food whenever you would like it's just a good time they play good music on Saturday night since cosmic bowling recommend this to anyone trying to have a good night

Horrible customer experience. I showed up with only two lanes being used. I was with a party of 5 and we were told to wait 15 mins for a lane. I offered to pay to reserve the lane. I was told no and I had to wait. I sat only 10 feet away from the employee that spoke to. After 30 minutes later my parties spot in line was given to others. When I confronted the same employee he just shrugged his shoulders said lanes were taken and I could wait on a list. I gave them 40 more minutes before I decided that the wait wasn't worth the experience. Save your time it isn't valued at this place.

Great bowling lanes that play pretty decent music. Food was great as well. The wings were nice and crispy. The corn dogs and fries were deep fried to perfection. The nachos were pretty stacked as well. 10/10 would go again.

HORRIBLE PLACE AND SERVICE. Went to the bowling alley on a Saturday evening with my family and had free game passes. I had a room booked at Home2suites for the weekend for my nieces birthday and the front desk gave me passes to bowl at this establishment. They never disclosed they were not redeemable on the weekends, mind you, it says no where on the pass it can only be redeemed on the weekdays but it does say it doesn’t include shoes, so we were prepared to pay for shoes ONLY. When we got there, Some guy with glasses told me we would have to pay $42.50 and asked if I was going to be bowling fast or slow because the free game pass was only good for a 15 minute game. Then I heard another person tell another family it would be $21 for unlimited. This was supposed to be a fun night for my nieces bday and turned out to be racial discrimination. My niece and daughter were sad we couldn’t bowl and had to spend the evening in the hotel room. I won’t step foot in this place ever again!

I have visited plenty of times but my last visit was horrible. I brought my family and relatives here to spend some time together. I paid for all you can bowl for all my company and also paid for plenty of food. Which was well over $400. The guy that tended me for bowling was very rude to the children that was part of my party. He also walked in front of my father when it was his turn to throw but walked behind the people next to us. He cut off our games of all three lanes I rented way too early. I noticed he did not do it to anybody else. Hopefully, this doesn't happen again or I won't be coming back. I paid too much for service that became rude.

You can't drink with the US passport. You need either another country's passport, a "yellow paper" or a MN ID. Lame because I didn't bring my other passport.

Food and drinks were way too expensive for their quality. Staff was friendly enough. It's a bowling alley that charges ~$9 for a sub par drink, mind blown... Same for the food, ~$11 for a burger and a small amount of fries. Just go for the bowling.

If I could give this crap hole a -10 rating, I would. My family and friends and I have been here twice and each time we've been here we were treated extremely horrible. The first time, some drunk guys started a fight with my fiancé and his cousin about bowling shoes and WE got the cops called on us. Then yesterday when we were there, some stupid lady that claimed to work there refused to serve my fiancé and his cousin pizza so we ordered pizza from papa johns. This crazy lady came down and started yelling at his cousin saying it's policy to not be able to bring in outside food. She was a complete b**** and got all in our faces and was yelling. Mind you, this b**** was on her phone the entire time she was "working" and then had the nerve to treat us that way. Then! This lady had the nerve to call the cops and say that WE STARTED the fight. Then! Some bigger guy that worked there, followed us out as we were leaving because we were done bowing and didn't want to deal with such horrible service, told my fiancé and his cousin, "yeah b****es keep walking. I'll beat your ass" all in all, don't go to this crap hole because they treat people like s*** and threaten people. I'll never ever go here again and i most defiantly won't ever reccomend this bowling alley to anyone. And to put the cherry on top; the bathrooms are disgusting and the bowling alley stinks. I'm calling the owner today to get my money back and complain.

Went here for a company function and was pleased. Most bowling alleys are grimey establishments but Cedarvale was clean, well lit and a fun place to be. I received good prompt service at my table. The selection of beer could have been a little better but atleast they had the old reliable Surly Furious on tap. The fried food was spot on; light, airy and tasted just right. The bowling shoes were in good condition and I liked their digital boards for keeping track of scores.

Always a fun time coming to bowl, eat or play bingo! We played on the Lucky Draw summer league and it was a blast! We even decided to do the short season Lucky Draw league for the end of the summer! The bowling staff are friendly and a lot of fun! If you sit in the bar/restaurant, look for Donna! She's great!
