This was my first time to be here for drinks and visiting with friends. Except for being louder than I would have liked, it was nice. The wait staff was quick and very pleasant. The cocktails were perfectly blended and the apps were enjoyed by all. The ranch sauce/ dip was thin and dripped down on the table and clothes but we got over it. We enjoyed ourselves.

Really great place but they open at 11am not 9am!! Google says 9 and that’s not true because the front door says 11 and every time we go before 11 it’s closed. Like I said, wonderful place just needs to update the times they are open

We called early in the morning to make reservations for our group of 14 celebrating my daughter’s 18th birthday. The clerk responded rather abruptly that reservations could not be made and we would have to arrive at 6:00 to make arrangements. We arrived at 6:00 to find an environment of pure chaos and when we attempted to pay for the lanes were instructed that there was a two hour wait. We put our name on the list and gathered everyone to eat at our home to be called 2-1/2 hours later that we were up. We arrived to find that the lanes were not together and the group was to be separated. After displaying our complete dissatisfaction with the management, they miraculously found us two lanes. We left the party to find an hour had passed and no server attempted to bring drinks or water to the party. We went to the bar, retrieved two pitchers of water and cups for the bowlers while listening to the bartender chastise the servers and waiting patrons that “she was only one person.” This place is a complete disaster. We will not be visiting here as a host or participant in the future and I will be reminding my 3,000 employees of my experience in their next paycheck. Gladly, there are options which we will execute against for our future celebrations in hopes they will be brighter. Do not visit this vendor!!!

We had fun here!!! $50 for 2 hours of bowling PLUS a large 2 topping pizza PLUS a pitcher of pop!! What an amazing deal! And when you have a large family like we do it is nice to be able to go do something fun and feed them for $50! The only place in town that had a deal like this!! This will be our go to family date night spot from now on!!

We ordered the senior steaks asking for one medium the other medium rare. They came out over cooked with the edges burnt enough that we couldn't eat it all. We have had better experiences in the past but it seems to be a hit or miss situation.

I don't really enjoy bowling but it was an enjoyable there. We got a pizza and some drinks and they were well above my standards for a bowling alley. Bathrooms were clean and there was a nice older gentleman who seemed like a regular that was rooting everyone on which was nice. The staff was kind and when my friend got shoes that were missing the sole they swapped them out no fuss. So really nice place to get together bonus if bowling is actually something you enjoy.

Slightly out of the way bowling alley. Nice facilities, an unusually good bar food menu compared to most bowling alleys in town. Try the burgers, and particularly the fries. I would avoid the pizza as it was greasy and the crust was soggy and chewy, not in a good way. Prices were good and a fun time was had by all.

Had a blast going here! The lanes were set up for glow bowling which is OK. It wasn't too onerous. Place was busy when we came in but the wait list system worked really well. We enjoyed a quick meal in the attached restaurant which was pretty top notch for a bowling alley - food was great! Plus, we weren't rushed onto our lane when it became available. They gave us ample time to enjoy or food and bowling. Had a good time and definately coming back.

City Limits East is an affordable bowling alley with a pleasant and clean interior and helpful staff. It was really crowded on the Wednesday night we visited, which was weird, but we managed to rent a lane for an hour and bowl for two for under $20. This is way better than any other alley in town. On the downside, we requested bumpers (because my girlfriend and I are awful bowlers) and were refused based solely on policy. This is disappointing because when I called in the morning they said they could put up bumpers for adults.

Loved taking my son bowling here when we were visiting my mother-in-law in Haslett! He's three and he always wanted to play more than one game but could never finish two games lol (carrying around a 10-pound ball for a three year old is exhausting lol)so the owner would always let him play the second game for free which was super sweet of him! Amazing bowling!! We have been a many times return customer. Great atmosphere, great prices, wonderful food. (much, much better food than 90% of any bowling alley we've ventured to) Games for kids are easy with the bumpers, and assisted ball rollers. Adults can enjoy the games at a great pace as the ball return never seems to jam, and the pins never seem to get stuck. Which is great!!! Today was a wonderful experience on top of our regular patronage, with a true showing of how great City Limits is. We bought a family bowling package for the family (6 adults, 3 children) and got two pizzas and 2 lanes for 2 hours of bowling. Unfortunately we had to take off early, (an hour) and as a 100% courtesy of the owner gave us a great refund as an apology, which we didn't even request. This polite and heartfelt gesture is why we will be back for sure, time after time. GREAT BOWLING ALLEY!! 10/10

This is by far my favorite place to spend a Friday night. The food and atmosphere is great. I love the food, I honestly have to be careful because I will eat my self sick here. I have never had poor service and they're always inviting whether you're in a large party group, or just a few friends shooting away the evening.

No one goes to a bowling alley for the food... Unless, of course, it's at City Limits! This place has fun, food, and refreshments down to a science. Their pizzas are spot-on, and their beer on tap selection is impressive for what is essentially a bowling alley and arcade. While I probably wouldn't go just for the food, it certainly doesn't disappoint when you are there and hungry!

Food, staff and service was great. Only complaint was that there was a lot of children and at first the music was appropriate then all the sudden changed and was completely inappropriate to the point that I would have complained but we were leaving soon.

My husband and I decided to go on a date and play a couple of games of bowling. It was our first time there and we really liked it. Staff was friendly and welcoming. They explained how the food was amazing and had the best bowling ally food around. They had drink specials and lots of food choices. Food came out in a decent time and was seasoned nicely. Temp could have been warmer but that did not change the fact that the food was pretty good. Our waitress Becca was really nice and attentive. We played a couple games while listening to the music and laughing. The music was modern and played at a nice level. I was surprised it was not busier. We definitely will be back!

Bowling here was really fun but also a super positive experience. From the first phone call to ask about reservations the staff was helpful and polite and that continued throughout our bowling for my grandson's birthday. City Limits is very family friendly, nicely remodeled and modern --- very clean. I highly recommend it.

This was a great bowling alley. The lanes weren't high tech computers, but they were easy to use. The place is very child friendly, with bumpers and light balls for them to use. The food is also excellent. The pizza, especially, is very good.

Pleasantly surprised. I had driven by many times, but recently had a work event here. There is a full restaurant inside. The food is good and fairly priced. The service was fast and friendly. Bowling was average. Nothing new and exciting. Typical bowling alley with monitors and well kept lanes. Many guests in our party had trouble finding the place. Staff admitted that many GPS services struggle to direct people to the facility correctly.

We had a youth girls soccer team gathering here. Staff was VERY friendly and accommodating. They offered us a variety of bowling options to get the best value. We ended up paying $8 per girl for 2 games on 2 lanes, which included shoe rental. Shoes, lanes and bowling balls were in good condition, they even had 6lb bowling balls behind the counter for the younger players. They don't have the most modern or fancy electronic scoring but it got the job done. The bumpers had to be put up manually and stayed up for all players. Not the most modern place but very nice. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a fun clean place to bowl.

Came here for cosmic bowling. On the website it says cosmic bowling is from 9:30-12. We got here at 8 to have dinner first and then when we went to get our lane at 9:30 they told us cosmic bowling has new times of 10-12 and they no longer have 2 and a half hours of bowling. The website needs to be updated. My boyfriend and I came for the lights and fun music. Once we started bowling the only music that was playing was smooth jazz. They told us that they no longer could play any pop hits music. No wonder it was only us and one other person bowling here. This place sucks now.

We don't bowl often, but when we do, City Limits in East Lansing is our go-to place. The staff are always courteous and professional, and go out of their way to make sure guests are taken care of. The facility is always clean, shoes and balls are well-stocked, and servers are attentive. The food is really good; we have tried the pizza, burgers and assorted appetizers, and have never had a bad meal. The prices are reasonable and their birthday parties are run really well too! We have both hosted a party and been guests at one, and had nothing short of a good time on each occasion. You can't go wrong here, and we'll continue to be repeat customers for sure! Highly recommend.

Food gets 2 stars. I ordered a chicken wet burrito to go. When I got it home and began to eat I’d come to realize it’s basically a bean burrito. Honestly kind of sad that the cook allowed it to go out of the kitchen. It maybe had 3 tablespoons worth of chicken and it seemed to have 2 cans of beans on the inside. Very disappointing. I will definitely be cautious ordering again. Now that I know they like to do things the cheap way

The restaurant portion offers great food, and the staff are eager to help you. The lanes are equipped with advanced technology supported scoring systems, so you don't need to worry.

Service wasn't the greatest. Food took a while and wasn't the greatest. There was probably 7-8 other patrons in the entire establishment. We had a coupon which was completely ignored. We just let it be and added this location to the DNR list...Do Not Return.

Great food. Clean and all updated! Hourly bowling rates very reasonably. I think they have the best fries, wings and taco pizza! Sometimes when they are busy, the bowling alley food service gets show, but the restaurant service always excellent. We come for bowling and sometimes we come just for the restaurant.

First off calling this place seems like a big inconvenience for the staff there. Almost every time they are rude and short with you and won’t answer your questions fully they just hang up. Other than that the food is pretty good and the lanes generally aren’t that bad. Really it’s just their customer service over the phone that seems to be greatly lacking and will deter me from going here in the future.
