The bowling system constantly malfunctions, the staff I found myself dealing with made the experience very unpleasant, and the building is somewhat shabby. The equipment used is also out of date (they lack a barcode scanner to scan their own coupons).

Alright well let's start on the reason behind me eating this bowling alley a 5. First off, yes I when you see it passing by on m52 it does not look like much but that right there is a great thing and let me tell you how. When q bowling alley is completely flashy and makes itself obviously a bowling alley spot then yes bowlers will flock to it. Thankfully for us chelsea folks we get the nice undercover knowledge of what the place really is. Lol which in turn means more open lanes for us! Besides that, I promise everything if you guys decide to try this place out you'll not regret it:) amazing food, great drinks, amazing owner who's name is Eddie Greenleaf aka my past coach as well! Come visit this place you guys and have a blast especially on their awesome Saturday night glow bowl it's a great time for any age group:D

Very disappointed, this used to be a great hangout for families & teens on weekend days and evenings were all adult leagues; Not sure why it seems the bowling lanes and walking aisles seem too small.

This place has gone downhill.over the years. Inside is old and hasnt been updated in years. Equipment is from a bygone era and breaks down alot. Had a full house from a travel league on a Monday night. The bartender was the only waitress in the joint. My teammate tried to order a Turkey bacon sandwich. 6 things on menu with bacon. They were out of bacon. Ordered a beef and cheddar sandwich. Almost 45 mins for a sandwich and fries. Needless to say they lost alot of money last night from potential sales.

Friendly staff...they even gave us super light balls for the kiddos and those with less arm strength. The counter girl seemed a bit overwhelmed with our large group (20 people) and had to get the manager, so I would suggest calling ahead if you have a significant size group. Fun time had by all though.

I have been bowling here for 6 years with 4 of those years on a league. The good. The staff is nice and the prices are slightly lower than average. Food and drinks are available for typical alley prices. They work with the local Cottage Inn to have their food delivered as well. The owner, Eddie, gives lessons for a reasonable price for any level of bowler. Not as good. The place is showing its age and is not going to shine like some other alleys I've been to. They are doing updates slowly and consistently. Lane conditions on non-league nights tends to be dryer. They have continued to make improvements. The beer on tap has gotten wonderfully more diverse.

This place is to expensive! Bell mark lanes in Ann Arbor is way better and cheaper. This place has about 20 balls to choose from and none of them worked for me. I will never come here again!

This place is great!! They've tried to keep it updated and it has worked! The staff is friendly and attentive. Also the owner runs the pro shop and he does a great job at it! Just tonight he helped a friend of mine change his game. I recommend spending your time and or your money here. Btw, it's the first time I've consistently visited this place since the early 2000's. I'm writing this review as the result of multiple visits. One of the reasons I didn't frequent this place was the adult drink choices. That's changed lol. Overall, in my mostly critical opinion, two freaking thumbs up Ed JR and all of Chelsea Lanes!!

Absolutely fantastic place to bowl! Staff is kind and cares. The bar food is fantastic, and they have deals with cottage inn. Only complaint is it is in desperate need of renovation. Water damaged and broken ceiling tiles. Old monitors and lanes. Even with the need for renovation I will return and would recommend others go there 200%

Hmmmm. Just don't. Keyboards don't work to type names on the screen. They have about 20 balls to choose from, over half of which are too heavy. One guy who is running the place who is barely available. They have a pool table, but you can't use it because there are boxes (I'm assuming over stock) covering it. Balls constantly getting stuck. Arcade games are either off, not working, or covered in tape in some spots because a part of it broke. A million floaties in my yellow Sierra Mist because they don't clean the pop gun. Absolutely disgusting. Will never go back. Guess that's what you get for spending $19 on a Groupon deal.
