Open bowl was reported to be between 2:30 and 4:30 today. My husband and I arrived with two children at 3:30. The man told us we only had "20 minutes to bowl" and he wasn't going to let us play. We said we were told open bowl was until 4:30. He grudgingly let us play. We paid $30 - $35 for the four of us + shoes ($20 for our shoes, which is crazy), which was extremely expensive for a single rushed game. They put up the bumpers for us, which was great, but didn't offer a ramp for the kids. The five-year-old really couldn't bowl well, and someone had to retrieve the ball for us. We bought shoes at the pro shop, but they weren't terribly friendly. I definitely felt like we were inconveniencing them to be there. Pretzels + cheese were $21.50, except we were given marinara with two of the pretzels. When I asked for cheese, the woman had the nerve to ask for another dollar and change for the small cup of cheese. I had no idea the parmesan pretzels came with marinara. She made me turn in the marinara to get a cup of cheese sauce, which is what I thought I was ordering in the first place. AMF Rose Bowl was not a friendly or inviting atmosphere for kids or newcomers. $55-$60 could have been a nicer experience at the movie theater. I'd advise spending your money elsewhere.

Went bowling with my wife and our friend this past Tuesday and had a great time! Bartender was funny, the bowling areas were clean, no complaints from me. I do wish they’d bring in another server, the one we saw seemed to have too many tables to do on her own.

This facility is astounding. Very clean and modern, yet retro in decor. It's got a great atmosphere wether you are on the lanes or in the bar. The staff members are always friendly and helpful. If you are looking to make great memories and have a good time, I highly suggest this establishment! And the General Manager, Tiffani is an absolute gem. She rocks at her job and ensures her bowlers are happy and treated more like family than a paying customer.

Place was packed but lively atmosphere. Very clean from the lanes to the bathrooms. Pizza was ok but the sampler was wonderful. It did take a little bit to get our food but with how busy they were it wasn't too bad. I would visit again!

Roof was leaking so the carpet at the steps down to the lane was wet making bowling a nightmare. We are in a league and dispite having 4 open lane pairs (8 lanes) between the 2 leagues (closed to open bowling) they refused to move us. PA system isn't zoned at all (2 zones covering half the lanes each with a all zone option would fix it) so everything said by either league is blasted in the whole place.

The first 15 minutes I stood in the bar area with no assistance I walked away. At 3pm it wasn't crowded but people can be busy at work. I left and came back 20 minutes later. There was a man sitting in the bar area I asked if he worked here. He said no. I took a seat and began watching college football. I've seen 2 waiters since I first started watching the game.... it is now half time. There is a waitress that has been inside the bar area for at least 20 minutes chatting it up with 2 regulars. I have yet to be asked if I'd like a drink.... at this point the birthday party my son is here for is nearly over and even if she asks for a drink order I'd decline.

Nice atmosphere but the prices for food are outrageously high...lol its not good enough to be so expensive. 5 wings and a handful of fries are $12.......

Rose Bowl is my home away from home. I have been going to Rose Bowl since the day I was born. I have bowled on many leagues, held birthday parties, run tournaments, and also open bowled in this establishment. I have seen many people come and go over time, but I must say that the current staff and management within the center are always willing to help no matter what you need. It's like being with family. The center is always clean and in order, and is very inviting for patrons.

If you go for a later session of open bowling, the workers will remind how much time you have left til they close. Pushing you out the door. And they will announce it over the P.A. system almost every 15 minutes. If you have any problems with your lanes never ask the older gentlemen with grey hair and glasses. I asked him to help me out once because my bowling ball wasnt getting returned, his response : "you're gonna make me go back there? It's the 3rd time I'm gonna have to do this". Like it was my problem. Definitely recommend a different alley for your events.

I previously had rated this alley quite highly, the staff had been quite pleasant and fun before, tonight however, the older man they had running the front counter was completely rude and was very quick on the draw to make sure our lane was shut down. If customer service like that flies here I don't think I'll be spending my money here again.

The staff all cared about the customers and showed passion for their job and the center. After my last experience here I will not be bowling here with my family or league. Bowled last night on lanes 11 & 12 my whole team and opponents teams bowling balls got chewed up by the return. They did offer to fix our equipment, but any experienced bowler knows epoxy on a chip changes the flow and spin of a bowling ball. If it was just one ball that got damaged that's understandable things do happen from time to time, but to not offer any sort of discount or free replacement equipment is poor business.

The external appearance of this bowling is aesthetically terrible; however, when you venture inside you'll find that the inside of the bowling alley looks tremendously better and is actually decent looking. However, the customer service at this location is deplorable. The staff are very rude and completely uninterested in answering any questions....even though we paid for an overpriced kids birthday party that didn't even resemble a birthday party (which I can't be mad about the set-up because you can expect much for a party at a bowling alley). Needless to say, the food was disguisting and overpriced, the waitress/party planner mishandled food and beverage that would definitely be questionable if being audited. Also, to any parent considering having a birthday party here...beware...I wouldn't again because they have no tables for children to sit at together (each table is connected to the half wall and limited to 4 people per table)...be prepared to provide your own cake plate, cake cutter, etc....it truly would make mire sense. To just arrive at the bowling alley and take a chance on availability and pay for everything a la carte. Lastly, in all of my 38 years of living I have never personally experienced had an encounter that involved racial discrimination; but, even though my family and I are well reserved and educated hard working individuals...I'm saddened to report that some staff at this location were definitely racist. Needless to say, I will never patronize this place again and nor would I attend even if we were given a free bowling pass for life at this location. Best wishes...maybe your experience will be different pending that God has "touched someone's heart" with kindness and professionalism for all.

This facility is outstanding! Tiffani the long--time GM and her team have made this a truly outstanding place to bowl for league players, families, and those just looking for a fun evening. Super clean and a bright new interior. Good food and a large bar for socializing and adult beverages. The approaches and lanes are well maintained for competitive bowlers and a full-service pro shop provides all the equipment necessary for any level of play. Shane provided genuine, friendly service at the front desk and made us feel like we were at our home bowling center. Great place overall! - 5 stars.

If I could no stars I would! I went with three of my friends to have one game of bowling. We paid about 42 dollars in total. As we played the games the pins would get stuck, the bowling balls too. The game would be frozen and we would go to the staff to ask for help. We even offered to go to another lane. After over 7 times of the game freezing we didn’t want to play anymore. So we asked for a refund since we didn’t even get half was though the game yet. We spoke to the manager after waiting for about 10 minutes and he said he could only refund us half. We gave him our ticket receipts and he only gave us 11 dollars back in total. Saying we played 2 games in total of the four of us. That is absolutely horrible and was a total waste of money! Will not be returning and do not recommend! Unprofessional and a ripoff is the nicest way to describe this place!

Been to this place a lot in the past used to be one of my favorite spots to go bowling when I was younger. This time me and the family went there to bowl granite we had a bunch of kids with us but we were paying customers and actually had a good time bowling the bartender was really nice the atmosphere was good the prices were pretty good - One thing I have to say the guy at the register setting this up was a complete a****** and if he was running the spot I would never return! Overall good place but like I said that the man at the register putting in everybody in was a real jerk

The bowling alley is set up kind of weird. The table is behind you instead of infront of you and there's these cubbies that you can put your stuff in. But eating and drinking is a little inconvenient. The staff are really friendly and they come around like servers and clean up your area and get you things. Also the lanes are weird. You get two lanes, and each turn you bowl, you switch lanes.

Rose Bowl is the nicest bowling alley Ive been to in a while. the manager, Tiffani, is the sweetest woman, and all the staff is so nice and professional. The establishment is very clean and family friendly. The snack bar has such a large menu, and it’s all very tasty. Since my first visit, I’ve gone every Tuesday for $2 tuesdays and I love staying for their cosmic bowling, the kids get so excited.
