Fun old bowling alley, great to be able to roll candlepins. It's on the expensive side, but I guess that's true of everything in Shelburne Falls these days.

A slice of New England history. This is locally owned and lovingly kept authentic. A trip down the memory lane of Candle pin bowling. The bar has great drinks. Staff was amazing, teaching the rules of the game. Ask the owner the history of this place, he will be enthusiastic and tell you it's amazing story. Great place to visit and bowl at

This place is a blast from the past for a bowling alley. If you have been bowling all your life or like to bowl once in a while, take a step back in time and throw a couple strings. Bowling seems to be a forgotten past time but it's worth an hour of your time if in the area.

Jonathan Hall

Great establishment, great people and always a great time. Highly recommend!

Helpful manager! Really great with kids.

There is no place better for relaxing, old-fashioned fun than the Shelburne Falls Bowling Alley. A landmark in town for more than one hundred years, the current owners are warm-hearted, enthusiastic and welcoming. The alley itself is clean, well maintained and well lit. It was a breeze to spend three and a half hours bowling and eating pizza delivered from Pondside Pizza. I am a terrible bowler, but I had a wonderful time here, and will be back often.

We have been coming here as a family for more than 10 years now. The kids have pretty much grown up here and have had a blast playing in the kids league on Saturdays.

Hands down the best bowling alley and bar in the area. Amazing hospitality, candle pin bowling, and did I mention you can get pizza delivery directly to the alley? I highly recommend a visit, which will more than likely lead to many more trips back.

I love the bowling alley, and it is possibly the best candle pin bowling alley in the world.

Such a fun place! We stopped by around 8 PM on a whim after seeing a sign on our walk and had a great time! The owner is so fun and personable, the staff are attentive and fun, and the place is so charming! We will definitely be back!

Can't remember a time where you can bowl and have the bartender serve you one of the best fresh lime margaritas ever. Friendly, fun, vintage and an adventure to locate if you've never been!!

Max & Ben from Berkshire whitewater rafting highly recommended this fantastic establishment & quaint little town and we LOVED it! The pizza, fried pickles, cold beer and Candlestick bowling were perfect following an afternoon of ww rafting!! The Bridge of Flowers is a must see as well!

Took a road trip to Shelburne Falls, MA yesterday from southern CT. Walking around, beautiful day, came across the Shelburne Falls Bowling Alley. Door locked Alley not open,so we started leaving, when a gentleman came out and asked if we wanted to take a look inside.WOW what a place, nice small bar area greets you then you walk into the bowling alley itself, I don't know what to say, this looks like it did many many years ago. Beautiful lanes (8) of them, with wood returns and wood with copper bowls for bowlers to place a damp sponge. Tarmeric (spelling ??) was gracious in giving us a history of both the building and Candlestick bowling. I was amazed to hear there has never been a 300 game bowled in Candlestick bowling, and even more amazed to hear an average of 150, you would be considered great. Well just wanted to send my thanks to him in taking time to open up the Alley and give us the personalized tour with comments. WILL BE BACK to take on the Candlesticks and a few local craft beers that are served in the bar area of the Alley.
