BB Handover was super clean & super accommodating. I visited with my group of 60 kids age 2.9-12 & they made ever bit of our trip amazing! They had a whole side of the alley ready for us upon arrival, they set up a separate room for us off of the lanes for lunch and made NNOO fuss about the kids swarming the prize circle after arcade time. I will DEFINITELY be returning weather its with my program or just my family

My daughter had her 10th birthday party at Boston Bowl Hanover bowling the 10 pins and had the cosmic party package playing at night and the kids all had glow in the dark necklaces as part of the package deal! I really enjoyed the people working there who treated us so very well, especially Luigi, who arranged the party details and gave a courtesy call a couple days before the party as a reminder and to get a somewhat of a count of how many guests who will be coming! The party went very well and smoothly and I also loved the 80's rock music videos they played on the tv monitors as you bowl, totally awesome! I definitely recommend bowling here for pleasure or for a planned event...It's so much fun I can't wait to go again!!! Thank you Boston Bowl Hanover!!!

A great place to take kids on rainy/snowy/lazy days.....with hot food and arcade games it can get pricy...so raid your kids piggy bank..

I must be Rip Van Winkle. Just woke up and it costs $50 for two adults and two young kids to toss ONE string of candlepin. Keep the advertising socks, I can get a lot more for my money. Lanes weren't bad, drift a bit to the right. The balls stopped coming back at a couple points. Service was equally mediocre. Bowling is fun but pretty sure you can find a better place.

Great place to bowl with the family, but food prices are overpriced for the price you pay. French fries 5.00 and are cold and soggy and the cook was coughing while cooking. But overall it was fun for me and the family.

Went with some family, including my 4 year old nephew. All had a good time. I do not bowl often, but the experience seemed overpriced, both compared tp my recollection of what other bowling alleys charge and also other ways to have an enjoyable afternoon with family. Also, there was no feature to enable bumpers for some bowlers but not others (a feature I have seen in more modern alleys). Also if my recollection is accurate (this was a few days ago) the credit card machine invited me to tip on top of the high cost (really?).

I had the worse first, and it will most certainly be my last time here. The staff who dealt with my 6 year old son, on his birthday, was extremely rude. She couldn't add tickets at all. Then threw candy across the counter to my son. There was no manager available for me to speak with. She continued to be rude when I was speaking with the Supervisor. I wouldn't recommend this place for kids, at all.

It's a great bowling spot that never seems to be too crowded. The have Candlepin and Tenpin and a decent size arcade. The food at the snack bar isn't too bad either. It doesn't have the offerings of a place like PINZ in Kingston but it's a great spot nonetheless. Get off the couch! Get there.

Had a fundraiser at BBH and I cant say enough how wonderful the staff is! Manager Bob was AMAZING! He even donated his own money to our cause! Staff made sure everyone was fed and happy!! Great time! Thank you all! I highly recommend this establishment for parties, fundraisers night/day out. We had a great time!

The cosmic bowling is fun! Only complaint is after loading $30 onto an arcade card, we realized half the games were not working. Kind of a bummer but still had fun.

Good place to bring the kids or adults only. Beer, wine, and food is available. 10 pin as well as candlepin are available. Had my daughter's birthday party here a few years back and they did a great job. They give the birthday person a Bowling Pin that everyone signs as a momento to bring home.

First time coming here with my son and we had a blast with the virtual reality. Personally the best part but we enjoyed the arcade and he had fun learning to bowl with the helpful kiddy slide thing!

Horrible Experience. Staff was extremely rude, would not accept coupons (that did NOT state they could not be used during half price bowling) and never mentioned that when were paying for the shoes, we would ALSO have to pay for each game played. Was bowling with 4 young children, we were the ONLY ones in the place on a Sunday morning and continuously got dirty looks and glares from the staff. Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone, not child friendly at all :(

I had the worst experience there last night. After spending over $150 there Valerie the so called manager shut our game off before we were finished with our 10 strings due to the league needing our lane. We were a family of 5 with younge children. We were never told there was a time limit on our game and there was only 3 cars in the lot when we pulled in. The league was very rude speaking about my children and how they spilled water on the floor. This old woman told every person in the league about the water on the floor. I simply told the woman that I could hear her speaking and it was extremely rude. Valerie told me that I yelled at the league, but never addressed that her poor mangent skills at directing her staff to properly clean up the ice and water with a mop and a wet floor sign. This was the root of the whole problem. I asked for a refund for her shutting off my family's game. She flat out refused and walked away from me when I was trying to explain the situation. She needs to be taught how to desculate situations and rectify problems. I will never go there again and will make sure I spread the word locally on how disgraceful the womans bowling leagues behaves and how poorly the Boston Bowl establishment is run.

My complaints start w/parents drinking in lanes 1 and 2, while young children are in lanes 7 and 8(with 1 adult). The parents wou ld come over to check on children with wine and beer spilling on rug and wooden floor... Very dangerous...could see law suits.

The facility is ok. the seats are all ripped. the ball return machines seem like they are maintained. no bowling ball damage. But they do not oil their lanes. I was the first person in the door today and i asked them if the lanes were oiled and i figured they would be cause boston bowl in dorchester does a great job of keeping up with oiling of the lanes. They told me it was done at night so i should be first person on the fresh. I rolled a matte urethane ball and there wasn't a single oil ring on the ball when i got it back. Reactive resin balls just flew off the lane cause they were so dry. To be honest I was super disappointed i had such high expectations coming from the boston bowl in dorchester. Please send the oil guy from dorchester to hanover and have him teach them how to do it properly and how often it should be done. Walking in a place first thing in the morning i would assume the lanes are fresh and ready to go for the day. But they were not. For family bowling with plastic balls this is the place to go. If your going to practice for league this is not the place to go. Please fix it ,id love to come back.
