It's a good bowling center. There are a few downsides: price per game is expensive and the staff is not always as helpful as you would like. The positives: They have a small arcade with games and prizes it is fun with the kids. $20 gets you ~50 credits and a solid 30 minutes of entertainment in the arcade. To gauge usefulness of credits, skeeball is 2 credits. Bowling has all of the amenities you need and has a fun vibe to the lanes. The food is great for a bowling alley. It has a higher end menu and options than a number of bowling alleys.

Nice bowling place but came to $82 for 4 people, 2 games each, no food, no drink plus shoe hire for all 4. On a Sunday at 4pm....felt pricy to say the least.

My daughter wanted to bowl for her birthday and Bowlmor was the nearest to our home. Overall, we had a good time. The music was great, atmosphere was festive, and the food service timely. However, there were several random bowling balls in our section that were never cleared, we did not receive any plates when our food was delivered so we had to scrounge for extra napkins for the bones from our wings, and no one came to check on our satisfaction with the service.

Music is good. Nice place for family and friends but most of the lanes are malfunctioning and takes forever to get help. I use to like this place. A lot has changed once they changed owner/name. Another I do want to warn you is that, if you have kids or someone who need or wants the bumper rails. You will have choose to use it. But if you do, its either all of your party uses it or not. Can you use bumper rails individually. This sucks.

I was there with a group of 12. I was late, so the others were well into their frames. The employee greeted me, and ushered me to the main counter. Seeing the line of people going out the front door, he asked me my size and retrieved the shoes himself! The music was just enough to be heard and enjoyed, and we could carry on a conversation. The employee was there the whole time. Never hovering, just available to top off the drinks, to print score sheets at the end of each game, or anything else we needed. I don't bowl, but I will recommend this location for anyone to visit.

My friends and I have been doing bowling night for a couple months now. We decided to check this place out for their 2.22 dollar Tuesday. We will never go back. The food was good but the service was the worst ! Waiters don't come to your lane and take your orders like they do at other bowling establishments. You can order from your lane but when your with a BIG group its time consuming having to order individually and paying with different cards/cash. We were able to flag down a staff member who took our order to make it more convenient. We waited way too long for our food and drinks and when we got them the order was all messed up AND we were missing some food & drinks. Every time we ordered a drink it would take a long time to come so we eventually just walked up to the bar to get it ourselves. We were unaware that the kitchen/bar was closed and we sat at the bar for 10 mins watching a bartender walk back and forth but not inform us that the bar was closed. Not pleased. Will continue bowling night else where not with ANY Bowlmor establishment.

I called to ask if they had any duckpin lanes, and the young lady was hesitant to answer, as if she didn't know what duckpin lanes were, so i asked her if she knew what they were and she HUNG UP ON ME. Seriously? How can you work in bowling (at least in Maryland) and not know what duckpin bowling is, and even if you don't know what it is , don't hang up on your potential customers!!

Bowling was fun, they have screens showing movies and sports above the lanes. They have lane-side food service, too. We ordered the pretzels and queso, which was very tasty. After bowling a few games, we checked out the arcade, which was also great! We'll be coming back again for sure.

Liked bowling here. Didn't really like the ID policy that they had but having an out of state license I talked with a manager about it and was cleared to drink. We had a couple issues with the balls getting stuck. The waiter that came by us was absolutely fantastic! We wanted a special order and he delivered on what we asked for!!!!

Significantly unimpressed. Lane screen wasn’t working and nobody did anything to rectify the situations. Drinks took quite a bit of time to make, even had to explain to a bar manager how to make a martini. Ordered my martini extra dirty. Once it FINALLY arrived, it wasn’t dirty and the olives had MOLD.. The manager acted like an inconvenience to remake the drink. Lots of eye rolls, no apologies.

So. Much. Fun! I came here for post-prom and honestly it was just as (if not more) fun as dancing the night away with my friends at prom. We had a lot of fun bowling, and it helped that we had a constant supply of food and drinks. Let me just say, that all of the calories I burned at prom, came back with all of the wings and pizza I ate. I also really enjoyed the arcade, which had a lot of fun games to play. I would definitely come back here with friends!

I was excited to play here because I kept hearing how fun it is. But unfortunately there were too many issues going on here at my visit. First off when we started playing the machines weren't grabbing the pins and always kept pushing the pins out the way. It happened to us so many times that we had to show each employee that it was malfunctioning and we still had to show the manager what was going on. Second we placed an order for something to eat and it didn't even register on their system. We've been waiting for these issues to get fixed for 2 hours and it was just an all over bad experience. Lastly the fact that there were 4 people behind the register and 1 person actually on the register was discouraging. It may not happen to 99% of people playing but it happened to my visit so Im giving it a 1 star due to the bad time I had here. I have been to other bowling alleys and they were much better and much more fun than here.

WHAT a wonderful place. I was there for a corporate event and they could not have been more accomodating. Their food was delicious. They were o.k. with allowing people to bowl in their own tennis shoes (sneakers). The wait staff came to the stations to ask if anyone needed drinks, and were back, quick as a wink. The place was packed and the atmosphere was one of fun, family, friends.

$13 for unlimited bowling on Friday nights. Awesome deal! Except the shoe rental Is $7 per person. They draw you in with a good deal, and then savagely charge a hefty premium for shoe rental. Cool place otherwise. Just be cautious if you’re not trying to spend too much

Went bowling with my family for about 2 hours on a Saturday afternoon. Bowling itself was fun and the place is clean and relatively well staffed. However that is where the positive ends and the only reason why I gave 2 stars. We ordered food and drinks and it came out warm, which isn't bad at all. However, they forgot the necessary cutlery to eat. Not an issue that can't be fixed mind you. So I asked the guy who brought the food to bring it as well as the front attendant. 15 minutes later, no exaggerating, still no cutlery. By that time, all our food was cold. Finally the guy comes back and says sorry and wants to remake the food but it's too late by then. I wanted my money back because they brought the check with the food. They said no problem. We left. 2 weeks later, no refund. They refunded us and then charged us again. Called my bank and disputed the charge. NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS TERRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT

Attended my nephew's birthday party here. It was fun. With an online reservation, we were offered food, pizza, fries and chicken nuggets, birthday cake and juice refillable. Then we had access to 2 bowling tabs for the duration of the reservation. It was a great experience. Good for family hanging out and chilling on a weekend.

Was a pretty decent experience. The bowling shoes were very nice and comfortable. The bowling arena was also ok. The staff at the bar were a little tardy in serving us out food and drinks but one of the staff called Leo was super helpful in ensuring everything ended smoothly, even gave us complimentary drinks. All in all a decent experience but can definitely be improved upon.

Had a company party here, they do a good job. We had 5 lanes, unlimited pizza, and lots of pitchers of beer. The sales staff is pretty good at working with you on pricing and packages, and the event staff was friendly and helpful. Everything went great (except my bowling score).

BEWARE: Charged for games not played. My brother only played 1 game and then decided to play in the arcade. Our two friends continued to play for a total of 3 games. When we went to pay, Bowlmor charged each person 3 games. I explained to them what happened and they didn't void the charges. They just kept saying that each person played 3 games. We had to go, so I just paid and left. I would have liked to come here in the future because the place is clean and it'd be a fun place to bring kids. Obviously, I'm not coming here again and not recommending it to anyone. If you decide to go, just be wary of what they charge you.

Great family fun and bowling. The issue came with the purchase of an angry orchard. We were charged $7.50 a bottle. I purchased two for $15+ tax. I just purchased 2 cases with the purchase of these two drinks. Not cool!!!

Went bowling with my husband for date night. It's a modern place to bowl with a decent arcade. However, THE FOOD IS RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE AND MADE US SICK. We paid more for snacks there than we did to eat at an upscale restaurant in Arlington. The service wasn't bad, but they didn't really want to help us the closer it got toward closing time. They pretty much brushed us off, forgot to refill our drinks, and wouldn't tell us how to purchase a gaming card for the arcade. Mind you, it was 30 mins before closing. I won't be going back. By the way, check their website before buying a Groupon. You might end up paying less without it.

Get the groupon promotion they are running right now. It's $20 for 2 with shoe rental and 2 hours of bowling. Very clean and modern bowling alley. Safe and enjoyable for all ages. I will definitely be returning.

This bowling alley is a joke. It is supposed to be a high end experience, with a high end price tag, and the whole place is falling apart. The touch screen ordering system works at few if any of the lanes, the wait staff is never anywhere to be found, the bumpers are held up with bricks, the lane maintenance is completely inconsistent, and every time I've been either the ball return is acting up or the pins are falling over when they are set up. We got summer passes, which was a great deal and we were excited to bowl all summer, but every outing was so frustrating that we regretted the passes by the end of the summer. I really wish these high end alleys would put a little more emphasis on the bowling and less on the atmosphere; it's a shame, this alley takes pride in neither.

Getting service at ur lane is pretty slow. But the atmosphere in general is nice. The new kiosks at the lanes for ordering make it a little easier but u have to order everything at once. U have to close ur tab with each order, which sucks if ur ordering drinks. I wasnt pleased when I had a large group for a party a few months ago. The service was terrible.

Need a more diverse music selection. We got the huge fishbowl drink. The minus 1 star is because the bartender palmed our straws at the part we drink from stirred the drink with our straws after touching every bottle of liquor, counter, doors, ice scoop, soda spout, etc and got mad because I asked for new straws. Servers were nice and attentive.

I enjoy bowling but yesterday that I was there, it was different like bad different. I know it was Saturday night and it gets packed like crazy packed. Our food took forever to be served and not to mention our drinks also took forever. We were done with our food by the time we we got our drinks. Our lane also got stuck and it took about 15 minutes to get it to work again which sucks because we were having such a good time. Also, I had called to check about pricing and they told me if I got there before 6, it would be a few bucks cheaper so I got there like 15 minutes before 6. When I got to the cashier, the lady told me that I had to pay full price because I had gotten there so close to the price change. WTF! Luckily, the cashier at checkout was kind enough to change the price for us which is why I gave it 3 stars. Also, our server, Dave, I believe is his name, was ver helpful.

I spent a couple of hours at this bowling alley in the middle of the day yesterday. I have been there many times, but not in over a year. The 6 of us bowled 3 games. The management has really let this place go. The staff was less than helpful about resolving the issues we faced. We bowled on lane 26. One of our party was a child so we bowled with bumpers. The right rail was broken and the rail did not stay up. The kid who fixed it used a brick to prop it up. The lane kept having jams returning the ball every 10 or so resets. The pin setter would then not reset the pins. The answer, throw another ball down the empty land and it would knock it free. Six people x11 sets per game is 66. Times 3 games is 198. So we did this at least 20 times. 3 times a pin would be ejected out onto the lane and a kid would have to get it. The place had maybe 12 or 15 lanes in use. They would not give us a "better" working lane. I noticed a bunch of the lanes especially those with lower numbers than 25 had broken bumpers. They have like 50 lanes. It's very sad. I was very disappointed.

Definitely a place to go out with your friends and family once in awhile! It is a little pricey, but the atmosphere and experience is really unique. It is really dark, but the neon lights and very big projectors make the atmosphere very lit. Food is pricey, and there is an arcade that is pretty fun, but overall a very good experience!

The bowling alley is poorly ventilated and old. the lane rails have to be set up manually so if you are bowling with your kids you can't switch them at will. Also the machine that picks up the pins were faulty on the lane we were playing at and the next lane over. the place was a little smelly as well. The staff however was great. Everybody greeted us with a smile and they were very attentive. I don't think we will be returning however. It feels very over prized for a facility that is very outdated

I would like to preface this by stating that the establishment was probably short staffed the night I went. Started off by paying upwards of $55 for all night bowling for my wife, myself, and my 3 year old son. I don't think that a toddler should cost the same as an adult, but whatever. The lanes do not have automatic bumpers. So, if one person has to use them, then the whole party is stuck with them. It also took me asking 3 times and about 45 minutes to finally have someone come and put them up, wasting almost an hour of the all night bowling. The atmosphere is pretty cool, and the lanes all had TVs playing stuff on the wall near the pins. Food was good and they have many creative party cocktails and a tower of PBR, but it took a long time to get anything brought to the booth. I might return, but will leave the kid at home next time.

I did a New Year's Eve event here and I have to say, it was the best experience possible. Everything from Christina helping me set it up from the Events office, to the staff at the Rockville location taking such good care of us, it was a wonderful experience. I think this will become a tradition for me and my friends. The manager at the Rockville location, the guy who took care of us, was so so nice, I didn't catch his name but he made the experience really something amazing as well!

Arrived at 8 PM and bowled unlimited games until 10 PM. 3 games, a plate of chicken wings, and a Angry Orchard rose. Bowling was fun, food was fair, folks were nice. If you want a low-key evening, give it a try!

So, my son went here for his fifth grade graduation party. After a bit of bowling, staff took down the gutter guards. However, no one asked them to put the gutters guards down. They later learned she put it down because his party of 6 got 3 or 4 balls stuck in the gutter. However, 2 or 3 balls that got stuck in the gutter were from the lane next to them, the students next to them bounced it in somehow bounced the bowling balls into the gutters. A bit after the worker took the gutter guards down, my sons friend asked the worker to put them back up, she ignored him. His friend then told his teacher, but only after the teacher told the worker to put it back up, she did. A few minutes later, one part of the gutter guard fell down. A different kid asked her to put it back up, but she still didn’t listen. In addition to that, the lanes had many errors. A lot of the time it wouldn’t put the cones back when they switched turns. It also sometimes only let them go 1 turn if they didn’t get a strike. The computer was not in sync with the machinery, so it would always have random delays.

It's okay. The staff was a bit "snippy" and they put a large group next to us, a couple just out for a quite time when the entire alley was nearly empty
