Basic, no frills bowling spot. Good music. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired - expect to wait at the counter while employees walk past you. I appreciated that they accommodated a birthday cake.

This was a fine place to bowl. It is easily observable from the highway, and there is ample parking. It is a bowling alley. Which means, are you get what you pay for. I thought the price was a little high, but all in all we had fun. There were plenty of balls for people to use, the shoes were not that bad, and the staff was very friendly. However, the price for the food that you can buy there, was ridiculous!

Bowling was fine but it was severely under staffed,they were friendly but very disorganized. The pizza oven was broken so we couldn't order pizza then we were limited to items they had to fry. No salad options either. They were out of a lot of items and after we paid almost $60 for other item beer included they would give us a free pitcher of water!

I think the receptionist is non chalant about who comes in and how ,as long as she gets paid or she just doesn't pay attention to certain kind of people,I walked in with my 2 kids,it was my daughter's birthday and she said she wanted to go bowling so I went in there for the first time ,I waited in line to pay and when it was my turn this lady acted like I was invisible for a whole five minutes and eventually she lifted her head from the computer and said oh sorry my computer is acting up,so how can I help you,I almost left if not because I was there for my daughter.I just said it's ok and paid.The 2nd Time I went over to her counter to ask for help being my first time in a bowling alley she didn't even notice I was there,she went out of the counter and was playing cash the spoon with one of her colleagues while I stood there watching,I almost cried but I held on just for my kids to have a wonderful time. I think she needs training in customer service and on how to deal with people that doesn't sound like her(accent). At the end of the day my kids wanted to play more balls but I was horrified to go back to her counter for another ticket so I begged them to go and get food instead and they agreed,the food was good and the cashier was nicer even though she couldn't find the icing for the prixel for another 20m and we waited. I know they deal with so many people but if you not caught up with that then you can find another job,don't act like your forced to come to work everyday.

This place is broken down and upright rude. The general manager can first of all; need to give some consideration to his customers. He takes your money and does not tell you how to set up the names or anything. He took my money and failed to tell me in what order the names were supposed to be or anything until mid way of the game; plus asked him if he could help us set it up right and gave no answer. Pathetic place for service. Really garbage

Kids really enjoyed themselves!! Got to give the kids time to enjoy and have fun before going back to school!!! Bowling is one of their outlets to be competitive with each other. I believe they would have spent the night if they could. We'll do this again of course. Having fun time with the Grands!!

The worst customer service ever. Every worker was rude with bad attitudes. The game kept stopping and the service guy look like he didn’t want to fix or come to work today. He made us feel like we were breaking those old dated lanes. They are overpriced! They charge 19.99 pp shoes included for unlimited bowling in 2 hours. It sounds great if the machines would work and they won’t take that in consideration. I left there feeling like I got jipped.

Just plain old nasty, in every way, i visited with a friend in a league, horrible experience. The workers + manager have bad attitudes+ the whole place needs to be redone. Exceptional eenovations don't equate to exceptional service. No phone service. No mention of morning leagues and therefore no open lanes til 1. Who picks a Saturday to roll out a new cashier system? Who only has one person behind the counter on a Saturday? Very disappointed. When I suggested that they post these limitations on their webpage, the woman said the comapny's ITdidn't have the ability to do that. A billion dollar company can't manage a website? I guess that explains why they can't manage lanes. Approximately 20 lanes being used for leagues and another 20 sitting vacant. Who thinks that is a good business decision?

This bowling alley has a consistently LOW level of customer service, and I will probably never patronize them again. Went there on 3 separate occasions, months apart, with the same result. No bowling. Each time I was told by a worker (manager?) that there was no lane availability, even though during 2 of the 3 visits, there were clearly many lanes, which could have been utilized for bowling. Each time my children & I have visited AMF Capital Plaza Lanes expecting a fun time, we have ended up leaving extremely disappointed instead.

Decent atmosphere, however when I went with my wife, the lane that was assigned to us kept freezing which resulted in us having to call for them to fix it quite a few times. As for the food, the wait time was a bit of an annoyance seeing as though they only had one person working in the food area.

I visited for the first AND LAST time Sunday around 4:30pm. I was disappointed with the LACK of staff help available with purchasing games and shoes. There was only 1 person (with an attitude) having to do it all. Then when we finally started bowling, our balls kept jamming (lanes 39 and 40) and we had to keep going to the counter asking for help (because the service button didn't work). Also, there were several instances where the score was calculated incorrectly - giving us a strike or spare when fewer pins were knocked down. Lastly, our food tables were not clean. This place needs to be renovated!!

I have a complaint regarding the hours of operation, when a league member is able to use the practice games. One Sunday the alley opened at noon, I arrived at 12:30 the lady at the desk was not accommodating at all.She informed me that no lanes would not be available until 6 o clock, and none were available even though the center was empty and the group did not arrive until 1:45 pm. If we are given a practice card,. when does a league member practice on Sunday? Please speak with the manager on duty about making an attempt to accommodate. Thanks

My problem with this Bowling Alley is the employee's. Costumer Service doesn't exist at this establishment. The employee's that make the food are very nasty. If my family members didn't constantly throw birthday parties here I would never come back. There are plenty other Alleys save yourself the headache and Bowl some where else. They need better supervision and customer service training.

The last time my boyfriend and I went to Capital Plaza, the employees were a very rude with a side order of a nasty attitude and wouldn't help us if we had problems. Me and my camp went on a field trip at this bowling alley. We started bowling and nothing was wrong but then we realized that the bowling pins were not coming up in sets of 10 , but sets of 6,9 and 8. So we asked two staff members Jamal and some other lady to help us but they would not. Then we also realized that our balls were stuck and were coming out of another lanes machine. The balls started to flow out rapidly from the other lanes machine and hit a kid in the face.

Came through about 4 pm on a Sunday afternoon. Walk right in, got two lanes. Bowled several games. It wasnt crowded and the lanes worked. Yes the alley could use a up grade but its plenty of parking and on Sunday's at 5 pm they have $2.50 a piece games. We didn't stay long enough to eat. But the tables around us seemed to enjoy the food.
