I like this place only for nostalgic reasons, I used to hang out there in the seventies but time has not been kind to the place, really rundown, broken equipment, kind of shabby but the staff is still first rate. I wish it was possible to inject some money into the place and get it up to modern standards, this place could be a gold mine with the collage crowd.

A cool little place you wouldnt know was there unless you were looking for it. One older gentleman does everything, but hes super nice! It was my first time candle pin bowling, but it was awesome! My dad said he went there as a kid. It was neat to see it as it was then- everything in perfect working order! My husband and I loved it and would gladly go back again!

First off: this is not actual bowling; it's candlepin bowling. If you don't know the difference, do some research before you go. The ball is smaller and doesn't have the holes for your fingers. Also, the pins are different looking (looks like a candle...). As for the establishment... It's your typical, small town bowling alley. Kinda dark and grungy, but a fun place to go. Good for small kids, or the OTHS football team About 20 years ago they had nude bowling. I never participated but I heard it was not a sight you'd soon forget. Just picture a typical Old Town resident...bowling...nude. Gotta give those folks credit though. They were body positive before body positive was cool

Extremely cheap bowling, cheep beer, and surprisingly good pizza. There's never a wait except for league nights.

Candle pin bowling is a blast. The balls fit in the palm of your hand and the pins are slender; almost anyone can play and have fun. There's luck involved and strikes are rare. The equipment is no longer made so enjoy this today.

Might not be the most up-to-date bowling location, but the atmosphere is nice. It reminds me of when I was younger and went bowling with my family. If you've never tried candlepin bowling, give them a try - it's lots of fun! I like that it's nearby in Old Town, versus having to drive to outer Bangor to bowl. They serve food and drinks at decent prices, their pizza is delicious! The owners are friendly and helpful. Definitely a fun place to spend a few hours with some friends/family. Visited October 2013

Small place, candle pin only. It was a lot of fun though.

This place is great fun! Took the kiddos, enjoyed a few brews with the inlaws, and a really great pizza! So very cool and nostalgic! Also, the owner was in house and you could tell he really loves the place, too. A great place for families. Lots of arcade type games and a couple of pool tables. i couldn't shut up about just how neat it really is to see the atomic styled machinery still in action! :) thank you!

Friendly and attentive staff (when the lanes need resetting, they usually notice before you have a chance to go to the desk and ask). It's old, but it's got a bumpin jukebox.

Jonathan Birmingham

It's a fun place

Amazingly dated establishment that stays true to its 1970s roots. Very clean and the food is cheap and excellent for the price. Enjoy candle pin bowling while it lasts! Wonderful atmosphere that takes you back in time. Perfect for taking >6year old kids.

Jermaine Fordham

Great place to take the kids the service is excellent and the pizza is probably the best in town I love this place!!!

Alejandro Molina Moctezuma

There is always fun to be had here! I have two young girls and between the two of them we have celebrated 6 different birthdays here because they love it so much! The owner and employees are very friendly and helpful, and they are also very accommodating. They have an area for birthday parties, plenty of room to bowl, there is also an arcade area, and bar area where they offer food and drinks. They have a bowling league if that's something you are interested in also. I definitely recommend going here if you're looking for something to do on a rainy day or just looking to have fun!
