Had a fantastic afternoon bowling! Turns out I'm a natural at Candlepin since 60 is like, pretty close to the top score, right? Don't correct me, I am happy in my delusions. Dinner I ate was FANTASTIC - A fresh and juicy cheeseburger on a brioche bun, cooked exactly as I requested. Yum! Hope to return soon
Very expensive (65.00) for the four of us to bowl 3 games and the pizza and onion rings were awful! The pizza was too saucy, hardly any cheese and what cheese there was was over cooked! The onion rings tasted like grease with no flavor! The place was nice though.
Fun place to go with kids bowl free program. Love the updates. Friendly staff and prizes at arcade are and reasonably “priced”. Only reason it’s not 5 stars because without the kids bowl free I feel like the price per hour is a little steep.
Great birthday party experience for 3 yr olds. Highly recommend. Thank you
Still a bit cramped in that "always in someone's way or they are in my way" vibe, but the renovations are terrific so far. Comfy seating, automatic counting so no more arguments by the kids, more food selections.

Fun, and they just added a new arcade too!
Very good place for bowling and chill out with friends
You can let the computer keep your own score
good bowling but one guy, i think his name was jimmy, ended me and children’s game early. when we asked to continue they refused to allow us to finish. they were not apologetic and we were all disappointed.
Had a good time.
People were great daughter and I had a blast eating pizza and playing old carnival games!
Great place to bowl and good food

The ham store rules. Great subs.
Good but the amount of money was ridiculous. $42 to play 1 hour and 12 minutes worth of bowling.
Awesome place for the family
Great candlepin bowling!
Great for Birthday Parties!
Brought the toddler for an outing. A little pricey ($30 / lane / hour), but good, clean atmosphere. Great for kids. Surprisingly good concessions as well, will return!
We had to wait 20+ mins first of which was fine, but the place was packed. One computer with 3 employees scrambling around frantically and disorganized it was noticeably chaotic among the 15 to 20 ppl who were "in line" or just bunched up everywhere. They should have had one employee focusing on handing out shoes, one taking peoples order/assigning their lanes etc and one helping with the vending and tickets for the arcade. After the 20 minute wait, which throughout I had to remind the employee we were indeed still here, I noticed that 3 families with 4/5 ppl each that walked in 10/15 mins after we did and of course received their shoes and were assigned a lane without having to wait. Finally, once we were called we received our shoes and were assigned to Lane 12. My son was so excited about the new look and the fact it was cosmic bowling night too !! The new format has a tablet/CPU set-up rather than the older simpler program that they had for years that worked just fine !! Now with new features and styles of games with fun characters etc. So off we went to start out game !! Immediately right off the bat on my son's first turn, the computer was not registering the correct number of pins that were knocked down. I believe 3 pins were knocked down and it put a 10 for his score. Ok, so we figured no biggie it's probably just booting up or needs to refresh the program. So we continued to play but it was still inaccurate for my gf and I. We then approached an employee, Matt, who explained that we needed to choose Traditional Classic bowling because my son had chosen one of the modes that changed the original rules of the game. Ok, that explains it Thank You and off we go !! We started from scratch again and were still having the same problem. Also this time we noticed that the pins got stuck and jammed up after my turn when I went to push the button to rest pins. They never came back down so we were moved to Lane 9 and just trying to hit reset on the whole afternoon at this point !! By this time my gf was getting a bit annoyed and if Lane 9 gave us any issues we were going to leave. Matt instructed us and gave us a walk-through on the main menu to set up our game with 3 bowlers for a classic regular game of bowling . Off we go, and my son has his turn. He rolls 3 balls and knocks down 7 pins and the screen is showing he knocked down 10. Again, we waited to see if it would refresh or restart but it didn't. My gf went and her score was inaccurate, I then took my turn and knocked down 8 pins and it showed I knocked down all 10 pins. That was the final straw for us. We were done, so my gf proceeds back up to the counter to get a refund. Matt then gave my wife an attitude like this was all our fault and went as far as to say, "You're the first one that's had a problem all day." In a very rude manner while she asked for her money back and a full refund. Not saying "I really apoligize. It's a new program. We are still learning it and its really busy. Just sorry." As I walked up to the counter to return all the shoes, I noticed he was chatting with another employee about the situation. They both glared at us as if we were some kind of imbeciles and this was our error. I went as far to actually apologize myself stating "Sorry about all that Matt" while I placed the shoes on the counter-top. He actually replied with a drawn out sigh "It's ok" as if WE were the inconvenience to him and the staff !! Just couldn't believe that after having the technical issues on Lane 12 then on Lane 9, that we were treated like THAT we were the ones responsible for the mishaps !! We should have received more than just our refund. Sometimes just a smile or a bit of friendliness goes a very long way. Customer service is becoming a thing of the past and I feel like Bowl-A-Rama is becoming that too ..
Very fun family environment!! Friendly helpful staff
It's a bit outdated but still fun
They got beer there too... Yeah!
Recently updated to flat-screen monitors and fixed tablets for score keeping. On deck seating area updated. Gaming area is small but has decent games. Eatery serves adult beverages and food is pretty good but the menu is basic and short.
BOWL O RAMA BANS YOU FROM THEIR FACEBOOK PAGE IF YOU DO NOT LEAVE A GOOD REVIEW ! THEY UNDER PAY EMPLOYEES 5$ AN HOUR AND TAX TIPS WHILE MANAGEMENT MAKES BANK. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THEIR BUSINESS TACTICS THEY BAN YOU FROM LEAVING A HONEST REVIEW TO WHITEWASH THE COMMUNITY INTO THINKING ALL REVIEWS ARE GOOD! STAY AWAY! DO NOT SUPPORT A BUSINESS WHO USES THESE TACTICS! SAD! THE AMOUNT OF MONEY THEY MAKE HERE IS INSANE , PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES FAIRLY!
I love bowling but they charge you base of how many games you play...
Bright.....clean...fun. Pleasant and helpful staff.
Had my girl's birthday parties here and everything was great! It's also our family go-to place to have a fun family night.
Not a cheap place to go
Love the new remodel
Always a fun time visiting here
They had a big group of league players but were still welcoming to a family playing too. Good times.
No lanes open no reservation accepted when I called on a Saturday Afternoon . However there were plenty of lanes not being used. I assume they were out of order. Told a 45 minute wait and left.
Boring candlepin bowling.
Fun place to bowl! Thursday nights have a great deal. So much fun with the Youtoons taking our pictures and making fun cartoons of us while we bowl!!!
Fun place to go with kids bowl free program. Love the updates. Friendly staff and prizes at arcade are and reasonably “priced”. Only reason it’s not 5 stars because without the kids bowl free I feel like the price per hour is a little steep.
Candlepin
Terrible experience here. I don't usually write reviews but this was horrendous. The bowling was extremely over priced for what was given, but that is far from the worst part. We ordered chicken tenders and they came out raw. Raw chicken. This is extremely dangerous. We were not compensated for the chicken and the staff did not apologize and continued to watch us suspiciously after the chicken ordeal. I am very disappointed and do not reccomend going here.
This place was so much fun for a great price! My husband and I went in around 8 on a Tuesday and they were doing quarter games so, we only ended up paying $2 plus shoe rental. Be aware this isn't regular bowling. The balls are small. The snacks are also amazing! I will definitely visit again!
Great place to have a corporate function. Enjoyed a night with my coworkers knocking down pins and beers.
Great fun place for kids an adults how are still a kid at heart
Cool place to play candlepin miss the older Bowl-O-Rama, now a bit pricey.
Family friend, delicious food, fun environment
We all enjoyed the afternoon.
Great deals, clean, nice vibe......it's candlepin bowling just so you know!
No complaints. Effortless scoring, all computer tallying.
Great place for the family or just a date with that special someone
Lots of fun all around Bowling great game room ingrate new food restaurant shenanigans best burgers I've had in a long time all in one place fantastic
Not bad pricing. Decent arcade area. Good food and some drink options. The floors need to be done on the lanes. The bowling balls also had chunks missing from them. A lot of tv's and lighting.
Went to a birthday party. The floor for the party was sticky like there was spilled soda that hadn't been cleaned. The party was for two children and they only set up for one, even after being asked to correct the problem. Utensils weren't brought out. Nothing ran smoothly other than the bowling section of the party.
Great bowling alley. It is exactly as expected.
Screen kept freezing and pin set would drop 8-10 pins. Pretty clean, nice staff. Has online deals that help with the cost
So much fun!
Great family place
Awesome upgrades to the whole place. New comfortable couch-like lane seating that includes a 'coffee table' and shoe/item cubbies , new high top seating, new balls, and the electronic scoring has so many gaming and theme options to make bowling more fun. Very friendly staff as well.
The prices are a little high. However, the score board accidentally shut off in the middle of our game and the manager gave us the game free of charge
Candlepining not bowling, lanes and balls are dated. Still good inexpensive fun for everyone
Fun atmosphere
Sometimes the staff is not to friendly for the type of kid friendly establishment.
The interactive bowling experience is fantastic! Food and service was very good.
Okay, I have never been candle pin bowling but I can't remember the last time I went out and had that much fun. Let's be clear, it looks like some of the folks in other lanes had been to this bowling alley before. Many of them had techniques that I could tell they were putting into play as they rolled those tiny little balls down the alley. That being said, none of them appeared to be any better than me, the new girl. Folks with their children, groups of just adults, and my group which was comprised of some work colleagues going out for a little bit of fun. The staff that worked at the bowling alley was so super nice and attentive. They were very patient as someone's credit card wouldn't work at the concessions area and even came to check on us to see if we were having a good time. The shoes that we wore seemed to be brand new. Seemingly brand new was just about everything there. What the heck? I know this place is been around a while, maybe they just remodeled? In any case if I hadn't been sold by just having a good time, I was sold when we got to request any song we could possibly think of. It was like the best version of a jukebox possible. Super stoked when they played my song as it was my turn to bowl! Bonus points! They also have several arcade games here. Unfortunately I didn't have time to play the SpongeBob game but I definitely took a picture. I showed it to my daughter when I returned home and she was super stoked to come back here sometime just to play the SpongeBob game. I totally recommend this place to everyone. Go out, bowl a couple of games and have a great time!
At a birthday party for my nephew. They closed the snack bar early so we could not get drink refills for the kids. Very disappointed and will NOT be going back.....EVER!

Fun fun fun
Fun place to go
Great place to have a corporate function. Enjoyed a night with my coworkers knocking down pins and beers.
Enjoyed this location. Candlepin is getting harder to find as the years go by. Ive bowled for hours and have never had a lane problem unlike other locations. Seems like a great place for kids parties too.
Always a good time at Bowl-O-Rama... staff very friendly and attentive. Like the new arcade games, too!
Value fun times
Fun candlepin bowling with or without the bumpers! Some fun arcade games in the further half or the alley, decently priced food as well.
Today I had the Worst customer service from an older woman named Lisa working at the desk. My son was cashing in his tickets and deciding what prize he wants when she tells him to “hurry up, I have a party to set up for”. While he’s trying to subtract in his head she snaps and says “I don’t care if you go over, just hurry and pick out something”. This woman has no business working with people and was completely unprofessional and very rude. I never felt so uncomfortable and won’t ever be returning. Update: My Mother went and complained to the owner and he was incredibly nice and apologetic. He gave my son a 20$ gift card. I have changed my mind and would go back because the owners were fantastic with dealing with this situation.
Good candle pin bowling. No auto score but the price makes up for it.
Just went there and they did do renovations and the place looks great now, we had a great time and will be coming back soon
Loving the new set up. Can't wait to go back and try out some of the new play options on the digital screen.
Pleasantly suprised by Bowl O Rama! First time candlepin bowling and I'm hooked! Monday night offer a great bargain, and beer on tap is great!
We recently had Birthday party there! It's very clean and well organized table setup !! Staff was very friendly!!
Visited for the first time in at least a year and a half. Was excited to see all the new lane updates, such as the new ceiling monitor graphics, and the new scorepads. Everything's even automatic now; no need to punch in the score for every ball you throw.
Fun place to go with family and friends. Difficult to play because it does not use tradition pins but fun. Great pizza.
Good place to bowl with a family. We like the bumper bowling!
Let's start by my beautiful girlfriend's party was planned here with just 4 of us others arriving and being stared down by the associates. They refused to serve us drinks because "We are a local business, therefore we have the right to not serve you guys" I spoke with the owner (very unprofessional, I have footage of him making fun of my tremors upon me leaving) after that he then called the police and made a bigger scene than it needed to be. I would never reccomend for his "professional" behavior around the children who happened to be in there. Anyways, good luck owning a business. The carpet looked cool, I'll give you that. ;) I will be back when my trespassing day is up to enjoy some expensive bowling. Have a good day.
Great place for parties
Okay, but the food is awful and the score is not automatic.
They recently did some updating inside, looks great! Friendly staff, the pizza is good here. But I didnt care for the spicy onion rings . The dip it came with was funky . Other people may like it but it want for me.
A pretty nice candlepin bowling center. Prices seem kind of steep at $4.50 first-string, but maybe that's the going rate now. I haven't bowled in many years and the last I remember it was around $2 a string. :-)
Bowling and arcade are really fun. The bar staff needs training and the prizes were awful. It's not good when you leave the stickers on there from Five Below
Family paid for bowling ($75). Then all of the kids decided to go to the arcade. At the arcade we won jackpot on one of the games. The staff came and helped us and let us know the machine has not won jackpot and that’s why there were many tickets. After 30 minutes, the owner came and said that the machine was broken (apparently he knew that from earlier but failed to put a sign up or let us know) and said the amount of tickets was wrong. He then proceeded to take all of the tickets away from the kids and said he would write us a ticket for not even a quarter of the tickets. Kids left crying and was the worst experience I have ever had at an arcade. Please do not take your children here :(
Little pricey for bowling
The bowling lanes are clean and Monday nights have great rates
A bit out dated, but had a good time.
Had a great time candle pin is harder than it looks
Never a bad time
This was an enjoyable place to go and spend some time
Thursday night is the best deal! 2 hours of bowling plus a slice of pizza and a drink for $10! The only downside is their Twisted Tea prices are outrageously expensive!!!
Very fun place to take the kids. Small bowling balls.

This place contains an arcade and a food area. Not many bowling places allow you to eat near the Ally but here you can! They have small bowling balls for kids in the back just ask
Staff food and games are a great low budget trip for the family on a rainy day or whenever.
From the outside the place looks rundown, but the inside is more appealing. Lol@ the 90s tube TVs.
Cosmic bowling with low music and sometimes no music? Kind of places is at $15 per game for 3 people and shoe rental I'd expect to have way better experience never coming back
Great family fun
Did not advertise they were candle stick bowling only so we went here thinking we could bowl and we were sadly disappointed. Candle stick bowling is just botchee balls and smaller pins, very dumb.
Clean and friendly!
Cool spot but not real bowling, it's smaller pins and ball. $4.95 pp and $3.95 for shoes, not a bad deal, good for kids.
Hadn't been in over 15 years. Very welcoming. Good beer. Still didnt help my game though
Fun for whole family
Glad they upgraded! New shoes, new scoring stations and soon to have better food / drink options for those that enjoy family bowling. Prices aren't too bad, but lack military discounts. They do have senior discounts though for folks to enjoy some entertainment and exercise. We'll be back when we visit again some day.
Great Place to take the Niece's and Nephews!
Had a good time and was a great value
Would be better if the games didn't mess up every turn we took... Gutter ball=3 Strikes?? doesn't make sense, however the manager gave us the games for free after but hopefully they fix this issue.
Candlepin bowling was tons of fun for a out of town trucker visiting friends.
The owner and staff are very accommodating. Especially John! Always smiling and willing to help.
Love bringing my family here. Lots of fun. They have an arcade and some great food
25 cent games on Monday nights! Who cares if I suck at bowling it was fun
Good facility, but very pricey. Four four people bowling for two games it was over $45
Fun time
Nice up-to-date bowling with auto score and a small bar with food, beer and wine also in arcade for the kids
Very friendly and clean. Highly recommend for people with disabilities.
Great family place everyone is very nice
A beautiful place for loads of family fun.
A bit expensive in my opinion, but we had a ton of fun on a hot summer day. Nice and cool. Very clean and the gentleman at the bar/food counter, who was also the chef, couldn't be nicer and more helpful. The food was pretty good too. They have a nice little arcade area as well. I think we will go again, but maybe if we have a coupon. The man at the shoe rental/prize counter (who may be the owner or manager) was very kind to my children and also patient. Overall a pretty nice, albeit pricey, afternoon.
Newly remodeled. Good for kids and grownups. Always fun there!
Great place to go and helpful attendants.
Well maintained candlepin bowling lanes. Good prices with decent food. Small selection of alcoholic beverages. Arcade games are dated.
Family fun!
Nice place
The best evet

Established, family run for generations, great place for bowling, arcade, birthdays and snacks.
Still the only candle pin bowling alley in the area. Decent arcade. Great place for a children's birthday party. Food at the snack bar is ok. Reasonable prices. Very good Chinese restaurant in the same parking lot. Dominions pizza and many more store's in the same lot.
HAD A GREAT DAY with my father AND SIS and her family!!
This place us so great. Theres a little arcade, brand new lanes and house balls, and they're putting in a yummy new restaurant. The best part though is the people, they are the nicest people who are always willing to help you with anything you need. A+
get out there and bowl , fun.
Pin bowling at its best
Fun place to bowl and play arcade games :)
This place is awesome!! You need to check it out
Lanes are very worn, balls are chipped, but the pizza is surprisingly not terrible
Fun time. Cheap as a movie
Super fun for both young kids and adults. It was great opportunity for our whole family with our two toddlers to bowl on their own.
Fun atmosphere. Decent pizza. Kiddo had fun in the arcade. The lanes are a bit rough. Very family friendly except for the lack of a changing station.
Newly remodeled. Good for kids and grownups. Always fun there!
Awesome family fun! Great staff! My son and neice both had their birthday parties here this year!
House balls vary in size and have many chips. Rental shoes were extremely slippery. Too much focus on arcade games rather than equipment updates.
Great staff and recently updated and upgraded (2019)!
Lots of improvements.New couches and tablets to keep score. Pizza are nachos were pretty good. And the kids always enjoy the arcade. Weve always had a great time here.
Andrew, where’s your water bottle?
My daughter loves to bowl
Great family bowling center
Family friendly place. Have been to many birthday parties here.
Affordable, good place to have a some good old fashion fun.
Manager Dave is the most unprofessional individual I have ever met. I’m not sure how he is a manger let alone still employed. We called to set up a lane with bumpers, got to the bowling alley and stood in line for 10 minutes add all of that up and you have 25-30 minutes. The people in the lane we were told we would have was 3/4 or the way complete with their round, yet he said we took to long and he had no lanes available. Less than 5 minutes later Lisa gave me a lane like we requested top it off there were 4 other lanes with bumpers available.
Good fun, but would like auto scoring.
They are very rude
Great place for the family and the resturant fits..
This is a great spot for the whole family to go bowling!
Love the new look!!! Bowling beer and pizza while watching the pats... cant beat it!!
I have been coming here since I was twelve years old and it has stayed a great place all of those years. Family friendly during the day, and at night this is a great spot to have a drink with friends and bowl.
Awesome time!! Can't wait for September Friday night fall league!! It's going to be a blast!!
Bowling was good, the in house restaurant closes before the rest of the alley which got them a 3 instead of a 5
Love the new renovation. Now you do not have to push the button for the lane clear. The lighting is great and all new equipment makes for a fun experience.
Good for Kids Birthday Parties with Bowling n Arcade games
Bumper lanes and electronic scoring. Small ball bowling fun.
Very disappointed with my visit today. It’s a total rip off for what they offer. Who the hell even cares about the new automatic scoring?! I’d rather pay a reasonable price and write out my damn scores with a pencil and paper! $6.50 for shoe rentals and $30 for a hour! They don’t even offer per game rates like every other place I’ve been to. My client with disabilities enjoys bowling very much and this location is the closest to where they live. With their disabilities it takes them awhile to finish a game and I’m not going to sit there and try to rush them so they don’t have to pay even more! I tried to explain this to the person working and they wouldn’t budge at all and told us we could find somewhere else to take our business, they don’t make acommodations for the disabled beyond offering a wheelchair ramp, and there was nothing they could do about it! My client has very limited monthly funds and there is no way I would spend that kind of money out of their monthly spending! I will definitely never be coming back and will warn everyone I know that works in the human services field!
Great bowling alley! Bit pricey.
Good indoor activity.
Fun great food and great family time.
Five dollar shoes and quarter games after 8:00pm during the week, what's not to love?
It is a nice place to bowl. It is a nice place to take ones family.
Affordable family fun!
