Honestly, the idea of this place is fun, the music is great, but the food is over priced and took over an hour to get. We had long finished our drinks before we had even gotten our second round. I’d rather go to a chain where I know I’ll get my food in a remotely timely manner.

The food was amazing. The price of bowling I thought was too high. The reason being the amount of time it took for the pins to reset was long, an alot of my paid time was wasted waiting for the machines to work right and set the pins for the next shot. They broke down alot but it was handled very quickly and my list time was added right back. I would absolutely go again. I had a great time.

Awful. Just Awful. The food that was served looked very unappetizing and the Chicken Tenders that were served were Burnt. The buffalo wings I ordered had barely any meat in it and had this weird stuff on it and it tasted awful. Then the pepperoni pizza that was served was not good, How do you screw up Pizza?? The only reason I haven't given this a 1 star is because the place looks nice and the games look fun but that's all I can give it for positive.

Poor service will not go back. Waited about 45 minutes to get cold chicken tenders on a Thursday night. After our waters were emptied within the first 20 minutes, we were never asked for refills. Waitress asked specifically for the last call on the happy order menu, but ended up giving the deal to only half of our table. Which is fine, mistakes happen, but she gave us serious attitude for mentioning the mistake.

If all you we're after was a night out bowling it would fine here. Food is meh, and the beer is very expensive. $20 for two pints before tip and $8 for a can. I won't be back for that reason alone.

Place still smells like a flea market. Sat at the bar with a male friend. Young female bartender ignored us for ten minutes waiting only on young male customers. She even stocked shelf and glasses, mini fridge, etc. Before taking our orders. Food was mediocre at best and whatever you do don't order nachos..you get a bowl of oversalted tortilla chips and a small cast iron skillet of " I'm not even sure what was in there" , to dip them in. There is a bowling alley there and we knew that, but there is no separation so it is really loud. This place won't get a second visit.

Fraught beers were quite pricey. $7-8.50 for a pint. We went down the road to the breweries and had the same type of craft beer for $4 for 10 ounces in downtown Portland. We have, however, been other times with our teen-age kids and the food was very good. We got mussels,nachos, and pizza and they were all quite good.

The food was the best part! A wide variety of menu items- something for everyone- we had a large group of adults but the place is Very family friendly. My lack of a fifth star could be that I'm not a huge sports enthusiast and I think the lighting could be turned down a bit. Very polite servers! The parking lot needs better sand and salt for the ice in the winter and definitely could use additional lighting for safety/ security when walking to your car.

Went here for a late brunch, which is served until 8pm (awesome!!). Great selection of beers and cocktails. Food was delicious, highly recommend the biscuits & gravy and the corned beef hash. While we didn't partake in bowling this visit it was nice to see they not only have four lanes of candlepin but also ten lanes for big ball bowling as well. Prices seem fair, $30/lane/hour with shoe rental included. Will definitely be coming back!

10/10 would recommend. I was there for a work event and it was my first time. They have Cornhole and bocce ball both inside and outside, bowling, horseshoes, firepits, amazing beer, delicious food, an incredible atmosphere and a top notch wait staff. If you want a fun place to go and relax, or hang out with friends, this is it.

Heard good things about your business. Went Friday night, sat at the bar for over 10 minutes, and not one person working the bar acknowledged us. Took care of the servers orders but not us. Needless to say we left. Very dissatified to say the least. Will not be back.

This is such a fun place, bowling, corn hole games, everyone's food was great except I unfortunately ordered steak, steak at a place like this was disappointing to say the least. Veggies were also cold, but I was the only one out of 6 that had a not so great meal. The waitress also left our dirty dishes on the table the entire time we were there. Overall very fun.., but order a burger.

Ordered a beer off the 'Tall Boy' menu that specifically said it was 16 oz. Waitress brought me a 12 oz can and would not give me any discount just saying it was a mistake on the menu. Had to talk to a manager who begrudgingly refunded $2 still complaining about the problem being the error on the menu. I understand it's a mistake on the menu, but you should immediately refund the patron in that situation. Plenty of other places to spend $7-10 a pint. Will not return.

Great atmosphere, restaurant has awesome food and friendly staff with good and quick service. There are quite a few bowling lanes but make sure you get there with some time to spare to secure your lane! There's also bocce lanes too! Really fun place overall with good beer and food.

When I first started going here a can of Murphy's Stout was $4. Went there to day and it's $7.25 a can. They had one $10 draft on the menu. I don't think they're doing much business and jacking up all the prices to compensate. They won't be in business much longer. Sad.

I typically do not write reviews, however I just walked out of the place and figured I would comment on my experience. It is super loud but I understood since it is a bowling alley. We were sitting at the bar and The service was also super slow, but they were busy so I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. We got our appetizers and they were very small and expensive but tasted decent. Once we got our meals no one had come back to check on us at the bar to see how we liked the food. My salad was terrible, I had only one bite and couldnt stomach the dressing they had put on the salad. My boyfriends burger was basically a hockey puck and extremely over cooked to the point it had visible shrunken in size. His french fries also tasted like hot eggs, which was also not great. I feel like our experience could have been better if we could have gotten someone's attention about our order or if someone had asked how we liked the food. I most likely will not be coming back again. I have tried this place 2 times and can say that each time our experience has been awful.

I wasn't a fan of the couple of meat dishes that I've had here, but the vegetarian kids that I babysit really enjoy the pasta options, which they're very flexible about to accommodate the tastes of kids :-). The wait staff are friendly and pretty lenient with little kid Antics and the girls running back and forth to the band and stuff like that. People always seem friendly and they actually made a friend at one of the other tables last time. So it's a fun place and maybe I'll just do the vegetarian thing from now on :-)

33 Elmwood is the perfect place to get together with a group of friends. They have indoor bean bag toss, bocce ball and bowling. They have a great outdoor space as well. I highly recommend this place, bring the whole family.

Fun place to bring the family. They have a huge open concept where you can plan cornhole or other fun games. On the other side they have a bowling alley and on most nights they have live music. On top of the food, it's an astounding place to enjoy

Last month was my Birthday, so my boyfriend and I tried this place out for the very first time to celebrate. We had dinner first and then did a round of bowling when we were finished eating. I had the brisket which was fantastic, the potatoes it was sitting on were cold, but I honestly didn't care. I was later told that it was the first slab of a new recipe. He had the pizza and he said that it was really great. They have 4 lanes of candle pin bowling and I think about 10 more lanes of regular bowling - we did candle pin and had so much fun. It was late on a Sunday so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. We did not check out the outside portion of this place, but it is definitely set up to handle large crowds. We are bringing our (mixed) family of 7 here next weekend for my sons 10th birthday, we thing the 5 kids ages 7 through 20 will all think it is a hit.

Great job renovating the building. Fun atmosphere. Our waitress was awesome...Krystal?(?). Negatives for me: the hamburger is two 4 oz patties...thin so they were overcooked. The singer was good but too loud for the bar/lounge area. Will still go back. Staff was great, facility was fun.

The feels oddly sterile. While it might be suitable for a corporate event, the space is too large and sparse to feel inviting. The bocce pits are okay, the bowling lanes are okay and the bar is okay but none of them are exceptional, warrant the prices or do much to add to the overall feel of the space.

Cool Concept, the food is not great (I am a picky eater so try not to be to critical), unprofessional staff and management (this is one of the most unprofessional management teams I have encountered)- We experienced this and have since heard many horror stories about the staff, the managers ruined the whole experience. Bayside Bowl is a much better option.

This place was dope. We did candle-pin bowling and had a few beers. The bowling was reasonably priced and a lot of fun, but the place was definitely packed (Saturday night, expected as much). Not exactly a family-friendly soundtrack playing through the speakers, although I do think the songs may have been radio edits. Either way, I'll definitely be back.

Great food, great atmosphere and overall an awesome experience! I love it there. Live music, bowling, corn hole, drinking and reasonable prices. It's a wonderful place take the entire family without having to worry about noise issues. They have great food and very unique drinks and you can have a few without walking out with an empty wallet. Completely remodeled so everything is still very new. If you like your privacy you'll love the 10 individual bathrooms they have. Private parties, bowling, family fun AWESOME!!

We had our work holiday party here and with about 300 people invited, this was perfect. Bowling (candle pin & regular) is available, plus Corn Hole, and Bocce in another large area as well. Full bar and mostly pub food but also dinner entrees like NY Sirloin and pan seared salmon.

Went dancing Saturday night outside bar with my girlfriend listened to ONWARD. Great band and dancing music. Thoroughly impressed with the facilities here. 3 different bar/food locations, baci areas inside and outside and 4 candlepin & 10 Tenpin bowling lanes. Fun times for whole family. Brand NEW facility. Very surprised! Nicely done. Great landscaping with firepits in outdoor bar. Romantic lighting and seating. Overall.....the renovations were extremely well done. Congratulations to the owners.

Google review was right, beware during RUSH HOUR!! Can’t express this enough.. staff was very disorganized. Took way too long to order a beer at the bar, server forget my 2nd draft and had to remind him to bring it over. Balls were sparse and hoarded to lanes good luck getting one you like. Food was good and venue was awesome so I gave it two stars, however I probably won’t be back due to the horrific service.. I’ll stay local next time :L

A classier bowling alley, bar, and eatery. I attended a catered event, lots of meat and vegetarian options and everything tasted amazing. I'm an okay bowler, and had fun bowling, but there we're very few strikes/spares across the board. Upon further inspection they had the "pins on a string" set up for standard bowling and I believe that interfered with the bowling experience overall. Candlepin was dope tho.

Came here during an "off peak" time but I can tell that this is the place to be during the weekend. Nice layout, plenty to do, and a good selection of brew on tap. I wish they had a place like this back in CT. If you're up here in Portland visiting, then I would definitely suggest putting this on your places to go. Good for groups of friends and family time.

Went with a large private group. The space, entertainment options and drinks were nice, but the food provided was kind of meh, both in quality and amount served. Some people were still left feeling hungry. I do plan on trying it again though. I think the food situation might be different with a smaller group.

You can expect a wait for whatever you do here. There is bowling, dining, a bar, bocce, and live music. The bar area being in the center of the building is incredibly noisy, often has children sitting at the bar because the family is waiting for something else, and getting a drink while waiting can take a while because that one bar is servicing the entire establishment. Despite this the food is good, there is a decent selection of drinks and the staff is very friendly.

Elmwood was one of the first places in the Portland area to be all inclusive as far as bathrooms go. The environment is not only cool but it holds a bowling alley which is cheap and a tossing game which is well priced and is simply amazing. Few places boast these options but mix this with low prices, great service, and good food and an argument can be made this is one of the best places in Portland to eat.
