I go there for the bowling tournaments. It's very fun for leisure though. The food is okay and they recently upgraded their arcade. They have a bar and a small pool area. Good fun for adults and kids alike.

Disappointing to say the least. The people were nice, but the slot machines were sooooo slow to spin, and never paid a dime. No ash trays; was told to use a styrofoam cup... haha. Lost $20 in 20 minutes, playing 10 cents per spin. Drove 2 miles down the road to another location and won $30 back in 5 minutes, they had ash trays, and the security guard insisted on escorting me to my car because it was after midnight. Now that's my kinda place!

The balls shop in never open on the weekends and all your balls under 8 lbs I can't get my fingers in. I'm 5'3" 115 lbs. You guys need to make it more female friendly. Not just chilren have small hands and adult women have knuckles

We have tried going here about 3 or 4 different days/times and each time we go they dont have any lanes "available to the public" because it is league night. This is annoying, but nothing comes close to the HORRIBLE attitude that one of the main employees has whenever we have called or walked in. As someone who works in customer service, I know that times can get stressful and I'm extremely patient with everyone because of this. But the complete lack of respect that we have had from this employee is unprofessional and honestly unacceptable. I have never written a bad review before but I'm more than happy to make this my first. Tangi Lanes is one of many reasons why no one likes to stay in Hammond, college town or not.

This is an older bowling alley in town with the typical decor and smells associated with such a place. Bowling balls are provided if you should need them, as well as shoes. Prices are reasonable and scoring is easy with electronic scoreboard. Since this is one of the few family places in town, it can be a bit loud, crowded and chaotic...add a child's birthday party to the mix and it can be overwhelming at times. There is snack bar which provides pizza, hamburgers, nachos and drinks at a fairly good price. Also in the mix of attractions you can find an arcade and a bar. I would call before going since there are league nights on certain days.

Decent bowling. Not the best experience for little kids...bumpers are available on each lane however only 2 ramps are available in the entire bowling alley. Initially we were given a 6 lb ball which was the lightest they offered. On a busy day, without a ramp, the 4 & 5 yr olds didn't have as much fun. Best advice- arrive early!!

The people here are nice, food is good, and the service is always good. Would be nice if they made more improvements to the lanes with the pinsetters and scoring computers. Some of the scoring computers crash even during league play.

Love love love to bowl here. Great customer service. Fun arcade. We do the Kids Bowl Free program every year and have a blast. We wanted to get the little one on a league but, it filled up super fast! Next year we will inquire super early. Check out the snack bar if you haven't. The food is really good!

We brought my son late night bowling and playing in the arcade. We had the BEST time! We were explained exactly what to do and taught how to set up. They had fun computer animated videos that popped up after your bowling turn and rails that automatically went up or down depending on if the player needed them. The arcade was actually pretty fun just a small area with some cool games and a card to load your money on and keep up with your tickets. We had some sort of issue on our lane (typical when bowling with a 6 year old) and were immediately helped and treated kindly. Other places I have been when you ask for help you're sometimes treated like a problem, but not here. I am so thankful we found this bowling alley and we will definitely be back. All of the staff was friendly and the place was clean. I also saw a security guard come in at closing time and that made my family and myself feel really safe. (We usually don't do late nights

Compared to most bowling alleys I've been to, Tangi Lanes is relatively well kept. However, it seems rather difficult to bowl on a normal day of the week like a Monday at a normal time like 6:30 p.m. without being an aspiring professional bowler. It is difficult for your average person to Bowl here because of the league and tournament schedule.

False advertising on prices !!!!!!! They say on their website it is a $1.50 a game on Sunday if you get there before 1-pm. There are 10 frames in one game, so no matter if you have a spare on each frame, it should be a $1.50 for 10 frames. But what they don't tell you on there website or on there pricing there computer counts throws not frames, so if your playing 1 game and have to pick up a spare on each frame that's an extra $1.50 witch equals out to $3.00 plus tax. So if you have a spare on each frame for 1 game they charge you double.

OK the last time I came here over a year ago I was given a free midnight bowling due to the lanes we received not functioning correctly.. When I returned today to try to claim it they said they had updated their systems and couldn't validate the free night even though it was written and signed by the manager.. So on top of that they cut the air off at 11:30 so we had to sweat for the entire last 2 hours... I would not recommend or revisit this place... And the bathrooms were overflowing and very unsanitary

Horrible place to go we paid $65 to bowl for an hour and a half every 3 to 4 rolls of your ball the lane was shut off staff could care less about the lane messing up halfway through the second game we just gave up and left
