The bar part of this place "The Grind" is terrible. We went there for Cinco De Mayo and their bar was not very well stocked and the prices were outragous!! Asside from the waiters and waitresses forgetting about you...we ended up leaving!

This place is horrible service very bad. Bowing ally broke down took over 40 min to get a pizza that my 2 boys could eat by them selves and paid 10.99 for and asked for a large. We got moved to 2 different lanes which kept our balls told the people at front counter and they said he's supposed to be back there and come to find out he's hanging out at the bar. When we asked for the manager by the time they got to us we had gotten our things together to leave. Tell arcade was really bad half the games were out of order the prise machine games were empty, and the machine to money on. There game cards were also broke down. Our experience was awful we will not go back to quarters on sherwood. I'd rather spend a little extra money and go bowling at all star lanes or for arcade I will drive to Henderson LA to Cajun raceway for now on. They just lost a repeat family customers. Please do not waste your money coming to quarter's Google other places to go for a better experience.

I tried several times to reach someone to ask questions about bowling with a group. No one answered the phone or questions posted as the website indicates. I am a little hesitant about bringing a group with that type of customer service. Would love to come with a group.

Can be very fun but not worth it. Everything is very overpriced, the best games either do not work or do not give tickets. The service though is possibly the worst all around, from the check in desk to the bowling/pool and the bar. Check in desk is always very rude and inform you that most things are either closed or do not work for no reason, they cannot give an answer as to why. The bars are a joke, one is always closed and the other you stand there for 10 minutes as workers pass you by and do not attempt to serve you.

Not quite what I was looking for. But the guest services were able to help with all the questions no matter how dumb they were. Arcade is seriously lacking in things, laser tag was fun but equipment could be updated and bowling was as fun as you make bowling.

I give it 3 stars only cause in the game and bowling area you will have a great time. Just do not eat in the restaurant. Not well managed at all.managment yells at staff in front of customers and you will wait quit awhile to get served on also not very curtious.ate here on Sunday 6/22/19 food was great but unfortunately that's all that was.

My experience for a birthday party was horrible. The staff member that greet us was very inappropriate. She stated to her coworker that she was not working a party and they can find someone else to work it. The party host was lazy and not helpful at all. The host had the party package wrong. She stated she couldn't tell what package I had, after I told her what party package was ordered. The party room was filthy, the table cloth was dirty with homes and dried food on them. I will never have a party at this ever again. The staff is horrible and not professional.

Although I thought I had made a reservation I obviously did not finish the process. We decided to get on the waiting list we waited for a few hours but we were very comfortable and able to watch the lay ball game. Samantha (I think) and the manager on duty last night went over and above because of a error on my part and is waiting an extended amount of time. Thank you guys! We will be back

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME. SERIOUSLY. The games are a rip off & do not work properly. They just take your money & then the game just doesn’t start. Attempted to bowl & 2 minutes in the rack wouldn’t reset so pressed the reset button AND requested for service.. 10 minutes later no one showed up. Also, as this was happening, the lane next to us apparently couldn’t fit in their seats so they took it upon themselves to walk through where our lane was. RUDE AS HELL & never said excuse us!! Went to let the guy working at the counter know that we requested service 10 minutes ago & he was too busy talking to another worker (keep in mind we are paying $30 by the hour so every minute counts) .. got my money back for “bowling” but did not get my money back for the arcade games that did not work. Another note, kids sit at the arcade games with no money in the machine & act like they’re playing. QUIT GIVING THIS PLACE MONEY PEOPLE!!!!!!!!! Btw this was honestly my first review that’s how horrible the experience was. Wouldn’t want anyone else to be as let down as we were!!!

Very disappointed. We got there right after opening on a Sunday and many games were broken and the prize corner was almost completely empty. When we told an employee a game was broken and asked if someone could come address it or give us the credits we’d put in (that were still unused on the machine) no one ever came, and when we went to exchange credits no one was there at the desk. The selection of games was good, but there were only a handful of small prizes available, with well over half the shelves completely empty. We left without exchanging them since there was barely anything left on the walls.

Don't go here. They were pretty pricey. $24/hr before 6pm, plus $3.50 each for shoes. The lanes all lean to the left. You can't fix that??? It's a bowling alley; that's pretty important! They started our time as soon as we paid, not when we started bowling. Never mind that it took us 15 minutes to find a bowling ball under 12 pounds for our kids. Name a cuss word...we heard it. They were blaring through the speakers. You would expect a place whose website appears to be trying to draw families to have a little more class than that. This place looked like it was recently remodeled, then immediately neglected. Everything was...not dirty, more like disheveled. The food looked average, but we didn't try any. The only reason I didn't give this place one star is because I have been to Metro Bowl before and know it could have been worse. At least I didn't feel unsafe.

Lots of fun for adults from arcade games to 10 lane bowling alley to a half-dozen pool tables. Appetizer menu - love the Cajun Nacho Fries, sit down restaurant menu, and bar all had great customer service.

Good news is the remodel looks great! I called to reserve lanes for a corp event and the person on the phone told me that was fine, but I had to come in to reserve the lanes. I made the drive out there to make the reservation just to be told by the same guy that they are booked. I understand mistakes happen, but this was not the case. This was a situation where the employee would have rather been doing anything else other than his job.

There were so many games that didn't work, and a good amount of them didn't have signs even after they had to refund ours and other customers money. It was in the 90s outside today and it felt equally got outside. We had small children so we were hoping to bowl by the game, which you can't reserve online. We got put on a waiting list, but any reservations trumps that, so after 3 hours we have. The food in the Grind was good. Service was okay. After we decided to leave, we attempted to cash out our tickets, and their system was down for the whole day so we couldn't do that. Disappointment after disappointment. We still have money on our card, but I'll be surprised if we go back.

I gave 3 Stars because of the bowling aspect. Not very many lanes, about 10-12 lanes only, so plan on waiting to bowl. They for have plenty of games, as well as lasertag and a bar & grill to pass the time. My daughter is 5, so lasertag is not our focus at this point. The gun & equipment is a bit too heavy and cumbersome for her as of now. Perhaps once she's older, bowling won't be our main focal point, but as of now it is, so I think 3 Stars is a fair assessment of Quaters through a bowling lens.

Although the place is fun for all ages, the restaurant was something different! I went to a birthday get-together and our food took forever! One of the guest's chicken tenders wasn't fully cooked. We won't be back to eat. The bowling lanes had the longest, most stupid waits. We never got to bowl. And the the pool tables costed too much and it was hassle to even get to play because of the lines at the register.

Place is going down hill in a hurry. I get the impression they maybe closing soon. Unorganized, prize room only about 25% stocked, and only half of the Lazer tag vest are working. Disappointing since my kids really liked the place in previous visits.

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and it was not a good experience. When we first arrived we went to the bar to get something to eat it took us an hour just to get our appetizer and entree. This is not a big area, so do not expect to be able to play on everything that is there. All the bowling lanes were taken and all the arcade machines were taken up as well. They only give you five minutes for laser tag, which is not a very long time. We left right after we ate, because everything was taken up by other people.

This is a great place to hang out with friends and blow off some steam from the work week. They have bowling, games, food and drinks. It's a little pricy but the atmosphere is pretty high class. Everything is well maintained and the decor is modern. The employees are usually pretty nice too. I used to stop here after work on weekdays bc weekends can be a bit crowded. I'm no longer living in Baton Rouge, but would definitely enjoy an evening of fun at quarters if I return to the city. The reason I gave this 4 stars is bc the prices are a bit high and the building could be a little larger.

We went for a birthday party here and I think everyone including myself had a great time. We started off bowling the lanes were nice and the software for the lanes was easy enough my kids could figure out. The party host was a little sparse . Next we went into the party room and then immediately into laser tag. This is where I had the most fun. It really highlights how out of shape you are when you are running around and squating constantly. Then we went into the party room again for cake and refreshments. Lastly, the games were nice and all were pretty new. I like the fact that there are no coins or tickets. This made everything a lot easier.

Horrible. Half of the games did not work. I went to the desk and was refunded a random $8 when I know I spent way more on machines that didn't work. She gave me a credit for $10 instead. So now I have a $40 game card with basically no games to play. Anyone want to buy it? I'd love for the manager to reach out so I can get my money back. I would definitely not bring my kids here. When it opened it was great. Now it's just a trashy rip off. It seems to be more focused on the club that is now located inside. I didn't go in there so not sure about that one.

The selection of games is pretty good. I've seen better, but they are probably the biggest arcade in the state, so you have to give them credit for that. The worst part of the experience was the staff! Very inattentive, rude, and unhelpful! This place would be much better if they hired a couple of younger people who actually care about video games, and not the 30 year old workers they have now that stand around gossiping. Will not be going back.

Love this place. I’ve been taking my son there for the past year or two. This is probably the best place where you can get bowling laser tag and games. The food at the grind is amazing. The prices are quite reasonable and we enjoy the atmosphere. Great family place for a getaway

I'm basing this rating on the arcades alone as I have NOT tried either Laser Tag or bowling. Having said that, the number of arcades was disappointing as most were racing and shooting games. This is not the best place to take small kids. Chuck E. Cheese has a better selection of games, especially games.

The ad for the $70 party package makes it look like it comes with 3 laser tag games. It doesn't, you have to pay $5 for up to 3, then $14 each for more. Not clear at all, and they were completely rude about it and after that, when I had to keep asking for the other stuff it came with because she wasn't giving me any of it our any information. They brought us the mediocre pizza that came with it but zero plates or napkins, and we wasted the first 10 minutes of our hour of bowling having to go get them and have them fix the bumpers which wouldn't go down.

Absolutely, by far, the worst service I have ever had anywhere. Twice I searched the near empty restaurant for our waitress and could not find her. The food took over an hour and they forgot half of it- yet still charged us for it. No children’s menus available. There were more staff standing around than working. I couldn’t get game cards because one person was holding the line for people in their party of 20, randomly walking up to the counter to figure out what they wanted. It was an absolute waste of time and money. Try explaining to your young children that their night was ruined by lazy employees and non existent management.

I literally wasted my time and money... I purchased a $10 arcade game play just to see how everything was since I was in town from another state...every machine except two took credits off the card and the machines weren't even working...and when I talked to the staff about it they didn't care anything about it couldn't even let my baby get a damn small rubber ball and bracelet due to the fact that their machines weren't functioning properly...like really a rubber ball and bracelet that comes out of a 25¢ machine. I can definitely guarantee you that I will not be going here again...luckily I only spent $10 nothing more...and I had to stay in the establishment due to the fact that the people I came with were bowling...I was extremely thirsty and wouldn't dare give them another dollar cause I was scared their machine would take the money and not give me the drink

The arcade was very fun, however most of the staff could not care less about the customers. We sat down at a table in the restaurant and waited for 10 minutes and a server didn’t even come to our table. When we tried to see if there was a bowling lane open there were two obviously teenage girls sitting next to the front door on their phones just staring at us. In short, the best part of our short time there was the part where we didn’t have to interact with the staff.

25$ is the lowest funds for a card, and they charge for the cards, so you better hang on to it if you plan on going back, every thing looked nice and clean in the game room, the girls bathroom was missing some of the locks on the bathroom Doors,on one of the sinks the hot water didnt work.

I would definitely recommend Quarters if you’re looking for something fun to do. The staff is always friendly and the food and drinks at The Grind are great. The live music on Saturday nights is worth the cover charge.

Went to try out the laser tag. Ended up being an hour and half wait for next game slot so got a game card to try out the arcade. Somewhat limited selection with prices I'd expect per play. If going during peak hours I could see having trouble getting on a game you want to play. Whole setup is nice but did not try the restaurant or bowling. I was loved the laser tag arena and was pleasantly surprised by the game mechanics. Most arenas I've played you have unlimited ammo and went hit you just turn off for a few seconds and come back on. Instead, you have ammo and health bar. If you run out of ammo or die you need to go back to your team base to reload or respawn which I loved. Changes the dynamic of the game.

We have taken our kids here for several birthday parties and they've always had a great time, particularly with the laser tag. They have a nice selection of arcade games but they are expensive. Note: if you go to a party and get a time-limit arcade pass be sure to ask if points (like tickets at Chucky Cheese) are accrued. My son hit the jackpot on one of the games and won a huge amount of points. He was told that they were void, however, because he was using a timed arcade card. He was so sad. Recently, we ate at the bar. I was not expecting much since the food at other party places is sub-par. However, we ordered the BBQ pizza and IT WAS SO GOOD. We couldn't believe it. The bartender was super friendly, too. It would be a fine place for adults to just go and have drinks. No party needed!

It would be a good move to make it known this is an adult only(21 and up) spot Fridays and Saturdays after 10pm. We arrived at 8pm on a Friday but my 2 daughter's 10 and 12 couldn't bowl because they have to be out by 10pm accompanied by an adult or not. Bowling was the only reason they wanted to come. A more descriptive website would have saved us the drive. We're in town for the weekend, 1st time in Baton Rouge so we had no idea. Not a good spot if u have kids trying to spend some family time at night on the weekend.

I don't usually leave reviews for anything, but I feel like I had to after this. The food is always good and I usually go for the wings. Most of the time I go to the bowling alley and order. I was in the "gastro pub" bar for my highschool reunion last night and the bartender lost my debit card. Manager insisted that they didn't have, didn't offer to look for it. She was a little bit rude. "I don't know what it is you want me to do about this so." Is what she said. I didn't even get mad I just walked away. I stepped outside to cancel it thinking maybe they gave it to the wrong person and found out they charged it right after I talked to her. I just left. I'll never go back. Called today to find out of course they have it, it's at the front desk. I told her I'd already cancelled it and she hung up on me. No apologies, nothing. Makes me sad. I'll have to find somewhere else to get wings. Oh well.

My mom and I walked in around 1:30 on a Monday afternoon. There was no one behind the counter. After standing there for several minutes, and wondering if they were closed but forgot to lock the door, my mom went and found the person who was supposed to be manning the front. We were assigned a lane, and paid for an hour of bowling. After a couple frames, our lane went dark. We told the front person, and after standing around for a couple minutes, our lane was back up. HOWEVER, the ball return was not working, so we got to wait around for another few minutes while they tried to fix the ball return, my mom finally asks if we could be refunded for our bowling time, and given that money on an arcade card. All the front person did was move our lane to the lane next to it, WHICH SHARED THE SAME BALL RETURN. This was my second experience at Quarters, and the first one was terrible as well (they were closing early for mother’s day, did not tell us, allowed us to buy an hour of bowling, and started stacking chairs around us as we played). We will not be coming back.

I’ve been here a few times for bowling and playing the arcades. However, yesterday was the first time that I and my family tried the laser tag. Long story short, my laser gun stopped working and I asked the employee if it could be fixed. A technician came and “fixed” my gun which did work for approximately one to two minutes. I had to return to the employee and I asked him if I could play another laser tag game after this one since my gun stopped working on both games. He became angry and told me that it was just fixed and all I wanted was to either get to play another game for free or at least get some credit to play something else. Didn’t happen because we used a groupon deal. So be careful when you decide to use a groupon.

Went with a group. Food came out at very different times some of us waiting over a half hour for a burger others done and gone from the table leaving 2 waiting.

The food was terrible and made me sick. The staff was somehow worse than the food in the sense of execution of duty but to your face they were courteous. The only save was the games were acceptable with the youngsters. But they had no one running the priza area so if the kids had some tickets they couldn’t redeem them. Whats the point?

Endless entertainment does not apply to Sundays. They were out of so many items in the restaurant - it was unreal. We paid for three games of bowling for three people, plus a two year old and chose to leave after the second game because of the serious depletion plaguing the restaurant. Had there been enough alcohol (Tito's or Stoli and beers), plus the food we wanted, then we would have absolutely stayed. When we asked for a refund for our third game we were denied because the girl working the counter comped our two year out without us asking for the favor in the first place. Perhaps it was just an off night, but as first time patrons it certainly did not resonate well. Not to mention I do not believe we got the $5 bloody Mary deal as listed for Happy Hour on Sundays, which is probably a result of them being out of lower level vodkas - not sure this should have been our problem. Customer service is quite questionable and as a result we are not likely to return.

Great games. The laser tag was better than I thought it would be. It's a great venue for parties. There used to be a Latin dance night that was amazing. I hope they bring it back. The bowling is fun too. A little overpriced in my opinion. The food looks tasty, but I've heard from current and former employees, that the establishment isn't the most sanitary and was advised to never eat there.

Great place! Very clean, except the restroom sinks had no running water, and the soap dispensers were empty. Also, no toilet paper in 2 stalls. (But, there was an almost empty bottle of hand sanitizer!!!) We went as a group from work, and ordered plenty of food . Every thing was delicious! Great place to bring kids. We all had a great time!

Modern and exciting atmosphere! I haven't been to an entertainment complex and my family and I had a blast. The only drawback are adults walking around with beer bottles, and there were a couple of bottles laying around. Would be nice if required to keep drinks at the bar. Other than that, everything else was awesome.

Nice place but, music choice not appropriate for kids. It was entirely too hot in the laser tag area actually ridiculously hot. People pay too much money for it to be that hot in there. The arcade games are over priced.

This is a really fun place to Visit when youre down in LA because it is Family time that will be remembered for ever they Have pool, bowling, arcades they have it all and it is really fun for all friends and Family to enjoy together i recomend to visit one of the Multple locations they have.

January 18th we went here and asked some of our friends to meet us here to celebrate with us because we were getting married the very next day. They did a great job accommodating us and the waitress was excellent the problem comes when my soon to be wife goes to use the restroom and goes through where the pool tables are and someone had pulled the plastic covering off and left it on the floor. She slips and falls and caught herself. There was a waiter that saw but she thought she was going to be fine just a little sore. She goes for a second time and someone had picked up the plastic and closed the black curtains. Meanwhile we get married the very next day then traveling the day after that. Her arm is still hurting. While on our honeymoon is Disney with no transportation we find a after hour clinic to take us and low and behold her elbow is fractured. Meanwhile my mother tries to call and tell the manager what happened and Mr. Willie was very rude with her and didn’t get any information or help. He could have handled in a much better fashion. WE ARE ON OUR HONEYMOON and my mother was trying to help. My now wife is in a arm wrap with a fractured elbow. I understand she should have reported that day of the fall but we had a wedding the very next day and she thought she would be fine. I think we are more upset at the fact the way the manager handled my mother when she was trying to help us. We aren’t the suing type but if matters can’t be handled in a proper attitude then something needs to be done. I’m pretty sure there are video cameras in this facility. Plus there was a waiter that saw her fall as well which leads me to believe the reason for everything being picked up directly after my wife fall. We spent hundreds of dollars at the establishment this night and will no longer be back due to the lack of caring and professionalism. **Update after four months countless doctors and medical bills and an actual BROKEN ELBOW my wife is finally healing. Have never heard one word from this company!! Lucky we aren’t sue happy people. Lucky we were dealing with countless other issues besides this like the death of grandmother a month after our wedding and a totaled vehicle guess we just have this luck but not even a is your wife ok response!!!!!! LESSON LEARNED this place doesn’t care**

Cleanliness is not a priority as soon as you walk in your not greated you go up to the register and your standing there waiting to be attended to. I GUESS WHO EVER THE GIRL WAS WITH ON VIDEO CHAT WITH WAS MORE IMPORTANT. When I finally get serviced they gave me a rack of balls which the white was was cracked. This is the second time I came here and got the same rack of balls. The pool table is disgusting smells like vomit and there are drink stains on it. This place was once great and now it keeps sucking ASS!!!

Only thing this place is good for is games for kids. Terrible wait staff. Food is horrible from the small selection you do have. Waited 15 mins to get drinks and greeted while 3 servers were just looking at us talking and doing nothing. Finally made our order had to ask for our drinks got one drink. Had to ask for our other food that was ordered had to go get my own napkins.to top it off no toys for the kids games didn't tell us ahead of time they are waiting on a shipment

Terrific customer service. They went above and beyond to take care of me. Alcohol is priced fantastically (through their connecting restaurant the grind). Food is okay. Not great, but it gets the job done. Bowling is a blast. Very updated seating and computers for the lanes.

Horrible. We paid to bowl for two hours, but with twenty- three minutes left in our game. We were asked to change lanes because a party had been reserved and they cut our game off. We were offered no compensation. I will not be returning to place again.

Very fun place, but the service during lunch was less than adequate. Only had one server that hardly ever checked in, only one cook in the kitchen. I'm sure the experience is different in the evening but would not recommend visiting during day. Kids did have fun but could have payed a lot less for a similar outing elsewhere with better service.
