We had a blast bowling, but you could tell this was an old bowling ally and is in need of some serious upgrading. Our pins kept messing up and the balls kept getting stuck. The lanes also has slight humps in them but it made our game more interesting.

I think once they update it, it would be much better than it is. Almost everything is run down, the arcade sucks, sometimes the thing that picks up the pins messes up so you have to press a button to manually do whatever it has to do and you also have to self score. No one self scores anymore. Other bowling alleys I've been to have it to where it does it for you because I have no clue how to keep score. So like I said, once they update the place, more people will go and enjoy it. The prices are also a little bit too expensive for what they offer there. It's not worth it.

Been a while since I came here. They updated their scoring system to a digital one which is awesome. That's where the positive ends. -AC on one of the end of the building (lanes 30-38) was not cooling. Overhead fans were only present on some lanes...seems like they fell off the others. So by hour - Balls kept getting stuck in the lanes which ate up our time, I asked the manager if we could get an extension and he did say he would hook us up....never saw the extra time.In his defense, I didn't press it either; the guy is usually pretty nice so I am willing to bet he just got busy elsewhere. -There was a metal nut in our fries.... apparently it fell off one of the cooking devices. My group enjoyed themselves but this place could definitely use some help.

Pretty average. I've been multiple times and have had malfunctions almost each times. Bigger concern is the lanes, they are extremely dry. Intermediate to advanced bowlers with heavy hooks will find their shots going far wide.

This was our family's first time going to Bayou Bowl and it was EXCELLENT!! Everything was set up very nicely and our hostess Scarlett was great. She made sure we had everything we needed and explained all of the party details to us. She was at our every call and she stayed on top of everything. She also gave me a pamphlet for future reference for more parties to come. I will be back really soon!

Great for birthday parties! You get a host/hostess that handles almost everything for you. You get some great incentives with the parting packet. Not as expensive as other places that don't provide food.

They have great food but the equipment needs repairs. League bowlers do not like to be held up in play because of balls hanging up,etc. . But I highly recommend their food and the workers are great.

Very friendly service. The best time to go is Friday nights because it's all you can bowl. They have great food and serve alcohol. Very friendly atmosphere and family friendly!

Girl at the counter said it would be an hour wait. We waited an hour and a half and were given the excuse that reservations come first. When asked if the reservations were when considering wait times, I was told yes, but after waiting so long, it was obvious they were not. Ordered food during the time frame, waited 30 minutes for fried pickles... which did not come. Refunds were issued to my mother and I and we left. Terrible service all around, will definitely not go back. On previous trips, we were told that the desk would call us, and after waiting we visited the desk to be told they had called my cell phone.

Building is a little old ,but they have remodeled the inside. Nice lanes, computerized screens, a variety of different foods at concessions and affordable prices. Love their kids program thru the summer.. ;)

Under renovation, only lanes available were pretty worn out. Some of the balls looked like they'd been rolled down a gravel road. But the kid had fun, that's what matters. They're working on improvements!

This is the worst bowling alley I have ever been. I have been at many out of town and around but this one needs to get up to date. Lanes not working, balls not returning, all lanes have no working monitoring of pins down, its not even computerize, all paper this lane needs to come out of the 70's and get with the years 2000. Just terrible.

Worst bowling lanes ever. Pins didn't reset properly, balls got stuck, lanes were cracked, bowling balls were all beat up, horrible service because the repair man was overworked and they had the nerve to be expensive. I will never return.

I actually quite enjoy it. It's very fun, but the lanes sometimes do mess up in resetting the pins or returning the balls. Those are my only complaints. Other wise, I really enjoy it.

Looks like they have sold out and switched hands. Renovations have been done and prices were way higher then it use to. They wanted around $26-30 per lane per hour plus shoe rental. $3 drinks and $1.25 refills. I use to visit this place a lot but now I'm not expected to come back.

HORRIBLE customer service. They only care about money. Lane stopped working, they spent over 30 min trying to fix our lane, and wouldn't pause the timer or credit us that time. We were there for a birthday party, and not even 5 min after the timer went off and we were eating cake, they approached us and said if we weren't buying more time we needed to move, and over half of the other lanes weren't even being used.

Even after the "remodel" this bowling alley still lingers way behind the rest of the world and needs a real upgrade. Inside and out. They the doors I feel like I'm in a small town with only this place to entertain the residents..that's got to be why other people are actually here! KIDS BOWL FREE is whats being done right here though (hence the 3 stars and not 1 star) and is what brings me back.

It's a very nice place for a relaxing time with family and friends. The staff members are attentive and nice. The food service and the hygiene is extraordinary. The only problem is that there seems to be a few issues with lane malfunctions every so often. The issues don't cause too much problem nor do they take too long to be fixed. They just tend to annoying and break ambience. But overall it's a nice place to go.

This is a very popular place on the weekends. Very crowded. If you want to avoid the crowd I'd say come on a weekday. They mix things up with black out days which just means they turn off the lights and the blacklights come on. They have pool tables, a small arcade area, and concession. Nice place overall.

Can't complain to much since it was free with the kids bowl free perk. But the lane was slanted to yhe left and qould throw off all our bowls. And the scorinf kept messing up, for the next person's bowl it would be the last person's spare bowl and would mess up everyone's points.

I was a bit surprised to read such reviews for this place. It is not that bad at all. I have been here 3 or 4 times and it was fun. Furthermore there is this one thing that marks the place out and makes me suggest it to friends - the staff! People are patient and helpful.

Very friendly staff. Fun games. 3 stars because the bowling balls are so old and chipped. They don’t roll straight, even when using a child’s guide that should make them go straight. Also, more than half of our game were being bowled wrong because the names on the board were not going along with way the pins were getting set up. I had them reset it twice and then we had to manually do it on our screen after that. It took way too much of our hour trying to fix that.

They hv friendly staff. Clean bathrooms & the drinks are good & stiff! We only go to shoot pool & the only complaint I have about that is it's time to get some new pool tables because the balls get stuck & you hv to continually get a member of management to get them out. Other than thatI love the bartenders they are sweet so wtbs, DON'T FORGET TO TIP THE LADIES!! & visit Nae at the snack bar!
