You will see all the information of real people like you who are buying the services and products of Ten Pin Strike & Spare Family Fun Center (Bowling Alley) in the state of Kentucky.
At present the business gets a score of 4.2 stars over 5 and the rating is based on 338 reviews.
You must have seen that its rating is quite good, and it is based on a very large number of opinions, so we can think that the score is quite faithful. If there are many people who bothered to value when they are pleased, it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to place evaluations when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Bowling Alley belongs to the category of Bowling alley.
Had a great time
Cafe and bowling. I had a pretzel and cheese which was good. Many bowling lanes to bring friends and family.
Fun fun fun
Prices are fair but the place smells like smoke
Nice place to bowl. Limited bar. Higher drink prices. Nice small staff. No table service. After more time in location I can say this is a place trapped in 1960's. Need phone power? Hahaha. The rate of food production the training method for cooks is one-at-a-time on orders. A taste appraisal to come. Burger: egg, bacon, jalapenos, cheese. Very good. I recommend.
Great time had by all tonight
We had a great time doing our fundraising event there!
Excellent, hasn't changed since I was a kid. A+++
Service for food was awful, ordered 6 pizza they burnt 2, never got other 2. Horrible. I wouldn't give any stars if I could but this program gave one..
Very nice bowling alley there Cosmic Bowl is the most fun!
This house is dirty, pins are off spot, lanes are dirty, nothing has been upgraded since Strike and Spare took over. We have at least two teams that have to move every other week. Have not bowled one week that we did not have to go to the desk for pins to reset ( phones don't work). It is a disgrace to your name.
The lanes are kept relativity well and would be better if the lanes were oiled less
Great place! Staff are super friendly and helpful, lanes are nice, food is cheap and good (for a bowling alley), and there's a good beer selection. Classic bowling alley feel, great to relax and just hang out. Not from Louisville but will definitely be back when we're here.
Scheduled and put a deposit for a birthday party for my ten year old at noon on Saturday low and behold at noon on Saturday the doors were locked and no one could get in. Was offered some lame duck excuse and literally had to take my party to kingpin lanes from the parking lot...... Been bowling at ten pin since I can remember never again... I also want the star back #zerostars
Great, classic bowling place. Glad it’s still around!
Fun afternoon of bowling.
Nice fundraiser venue
**Owner replied to my original review. I appreciate how prompt, courteous and upfront they have been. I will definitely be back again to bowl in a few weeks. I'm changing my review to 4 stars since my issue has been addressed directly by management.** Originally came here for some impromptu night bowling. All lanes were full, 10 or 11 or them were out of order. After giving it lane to a group of 4, we decided to grab a beer. They did not have the beer we asked for due to a "keg problem". That was no problem, our bartender was awesome. After about 10 minutes we were in a lane. That's when it all went downhill. Our lane was extremely defective. Ball return issues, pin reset trouble, we had to get help 5 times! The staff was super cool about it and came to help each time. If the management could address these issues I would easily give them a higher rating based on the performance of their staff alone. Service was great, the over all experience was not. Would not recommend until some improvements are made.
A fun place for the entire family!
No one was able to serve beer.
Fun is
Kingpin is the better bowling alley.
Highly recommend. Best place to bowl every one is friendly an helps when you need it. Great food for the amount of times I've been here an tried everything. May be old but it's an antique. Antiques are better than brand new an over priced. Love this place.
Undergoing changes, hopefully will be good when done. A little hectic now
The blonde woman had absolutely no right working with the public. A smile goes a loooong way! Rude. She would be reason I'd never return if I lived in the area.
The place is near St.Mathews and Oxmoor, so good location but the lanes, infrastructure, food is not good. We went on a Sunday evening in a family deal for 60 bucks and 2hrs or play, during which the frame for stuck up couple of times and we had to walk back n forth to the counter to get that fixed. To top it all, the number of balls of each size were very limited and we could not find the ones suitable enough so had to manage with what we could find. All in all, not a very good experience for the 1st visit!!
One of our favorite family outings!
I called 4 hours in advance to see how open the lanes were today, I had a group of bible study teens that wanted to bowl. Whoever I talked to in advanced said that "there will be plenty of lanes open at 5pm when you are planning on being here" and also told me I didn't need to reserve a spot, which was the first thing I asked if needed to be done. When we arrived, they added us to the "list" and told us about it would 20 minutes we would wait. 1 hour later my understanding of the situation came to light. After being told all of the above, we had been put on a waiting list that would have taken almost 2 hours to get our lanes, which one employee told us btw, unbeknownst to his manager who had blatantly lied to my face. Safe to say we left without bowling at all. Normally I am not one to write a review like this, but when management of an establishment are dishonest with customers, I don't appreciate it.
Took my son and fiancee there to bowl. Felt it was too pricey, $30.00 for 3 ppl and 2 games was alot during the weekday. Great place to bowl just kinda pricey.
Women's restroom was filthy and out of paper towels. Rugs and floors were in need of a vacuum and cleaning. Wanted to go someplace for fun family activity out if the heat. Disappointed!!!
Nice place for a impromptu family outing, reasonable prices. Balls could use some TLC
They need to have kids bowling leagues all ages and SINGLE moms night bowling. They need better and updates lanes and shoes. There need healthy food and cheaper prices for bowling.
Nice new screens!
Cold pizza, very slow service, cut our game off mid-game despite not taking an inordinate amount of time and no one waiting for lanes (LOTS of open lanes in fact). Then they made us pay full price for the game anyway!
My son and I enjoyed bowling this summer with the Kids Bowl Free program. I am glad that Ten Pen participates in this program because they are at a convenient location. Everyone was always friendly and helpful. The facility was always very clean. We look forward to bowling year round now.
Come see Doug on Sundays. You losers.
Eh, its ok. Not the worst bowling alley but old and starting to get run down. Last time I was in there was a random abandoned sock in our seating area and a large hair/dust ball rolling around...not super clean. We prefer another bowling alley, but will go to this one in a pinch.
Had a kids birthday party here. The staff was friendly and very accommodating.
We had fun but the lanes were sticky and the seats were cracked and dirty
Sometimes difficult to find balls with large enough holes but that isn't an issue for everyone. Prices are fair and the atmosphere is decent.
Overpriced food, but good bowling at a fair price.
We love to come here for their late night special! Great deals for the all you can bowl
Hadn't been bowling in years until I went with my son and 6 year old granddaughter on Thanksgiving Eve. Ten Pin had several items for young bowlers to make this a fun experience...special balls, bumpers on the lanes if desired. and a special, rolling rack to center line the ball. Add to that the fun messages that came with the automatic scoring and the easy access to both food and drink and for a relatively cheap price we had a very fun time.
Lane had problems during both of our games, and the place is a little run down. For the same price I could have gone to a much nicer place.
Fun and enjoyable
Price per game was somewhat high for a mid afternoon on a Saturday. The snacks were somewhat well priced though. There was a big kid's birthday party situation going on so maybe why the prices were high. Food quality was definitely from a frozen stock and then reheated or fried.
A great place. Jacob was very helpful.
Has been a favorite destination since I would go with my Dad and brother, often after church. Great place to meet friends and family for a fun evening or afternoon. Their grill is inexpensive, very good bowling alley food. I always get a basket of fries to share.
Great Service and reasonable prices. Great place to take my young son.
Fun environment, good food.
It's a decent bowling alley with a bar in concession stand. It was a little warm though when we visited.
First time bowling in 15-20 years, had a blast. The lanes are well oiled and equipment was updated. We may join a league here after having so much fun
This place is great for kids and adults. The food is good and the place is clean. I go with my two kids and they are always willing to help me out finding the right balls for them. We love it here!
Excellent place for family night. Kids, as well as adults, had a great time.
It's starting to look like a time capsule from the 90s but it's cheap and doesn't really fail at its job. Just could use an upgrade?
Been there once
The people serving the food was eating a slice of pizza while taking money and serving customers so we did not eat there. There was a bad odor when entering the facility, but you get use to it after a while. Our lane froze up a few times and it took staff several requests to come fix it. The smallest ball is 6lbs which seems heavy for very small children, which we requested since it's not out for some to get. The whole place was very old and outdated, the TV's had white noise and were small tube TV sets. We did enjoy our time but would rather go to a better taken care of place next time.
Great food, been going there for years and many more
It was fun.
Good bowling not usually crowded, but the bowling is great! The food is the best, I highly recommend the tater tots and fries they are very good!
I was bowling on my league today, and everyone there was SUPER nice! Keep up the good work tin pin!
Needs updating badly.
Tried to take my kid 3 different night is a row but each time they said league took all lanes. Staff ingorned me several times. Website clearly states open bowling .... Why ! Do not go here. Kingpin is a couple miles down the street and way nicer.
Came here to bring my daughter to her friends birthday party. She loved it and they all had a great time.
Brought some cupcakes for my friend’s birthday and we left them on the table next to the restroom, went into the restroom for 1 minute, came back out, cupcakes were gone. Asked two employees if they threw away my cupcakes and both seemed guilty, yet denied seeing said cupcakes. Found the cupcakes in the trash, and they both still denied throwing them away, even though they were the only employees around. They clearly saw us go into the restroom and leave the cupcakes right outside so we wouldn’t have to bring them in the restroom. BUT, WHATEVER.
During the summer Ten pin Strike bowling alley offers free bowling for the children, all you have to pay for is the adult and the shoes. It's great fun for the whole family at a reasonable price.
Great friendly place. Could use new or better bowling balls. Lots of chips and cracks in them.
it is a great place to bowl!
Great family time!!!
Because we have a game tonight
Love the lanes and staff. Pricing decent as well. Could use a good cleaning.
Ten pin is great family place and gates about kids of all kinds!
Always a fun family night!
Really fun atmosphere
Great lanes, prices, and people!
Nice place to bowl. Not as new or as fancy as some of the newer places
Tons of fun for kids
I had fun but it can use some updates
This place is like home to me. I've spent a lot of time bowling here and they continue to upgrade their equipment. My favorite place to bowl in Louisville.
Reasonably priced and all of the equipment worked well. The crowd was fun andb the music was good.
Great place for family fun night.
10 out of 10 would do again
I love the nostalgia of this place. It's total 80's styling is that way because it hasn't changed since then. The age to the place is what makes it homey. Nice and simple, and not pretentious.
Nice place
Outdated but clean.
Love that they have $5 unlimited bowling nights on Tuesday for service industry workers.
Not a lot of bowling balls available, it was hard finding one that fit. The staff was fast about getting the ball I accidentally had go into an empty lane. Not very updated, but still nice for a good time.
It's not the place I would want to league bowl in.
Not enough room for an audience to watch tournaments!!
Had a good time no lane failures very helpful n friendly people working there also pleasant time over all
nice place
Great
Had a bunch of fun! Went on a Saturday night around 8pm, and it was a little busy and crowded, but overall a great time!
Ten Pin lanes has been around forever in St. Matthews but it's always fun to go to. Keep up the great work y'all.
Fun, family oriented place, clean facilities
Very nice bowling center in a convenient location. Nice party rooms. Plenty to do.
A nice cheap place to bowl. Friendly service and the power went out (due to a storm) when we were there and we were all given free game passes which was nice. It could use some tech updates and modernization but still a good bowling experience.
bowling was good and fun but they should plan to have order takers to visit our allocated area to take orders and drinks
Don't waste your money on the food! We just went to Strike & Spare and were very disappointed. We used to bowl here years ago and the alley was in much better condition and the food was actually really good.Definately no longer the nicest alley in town now, though. The bowling balls are old and many are cracked. The lanes were clean-ish. Should not have bothered with the food, though. The guy at the counter kept hiding in the back so he would not have to take an order - the man at the service desk had to go find him a couple of times. Finally he took our order and cooked the food to as almost be inedible - guess he got back at us for making him do his job. For this we paid $25 - save yourself the trouble and use that money at Chick-fi-a or Logan's across the street after you bowl!
If you're in the mood for a nostalgic old time bowling alley then this is the place. Tube TV's, stuck balls, weird smells, they have it all. Even the standard center lanes American flag. Still we did have fun and the staff was accommodating.
Awsome place to bring friends and family
My coworkers and I get together here on occasion, and it's a fun place to bowl with reasonable prices.
The concession stand prices are really high but the prices for birthday parties are incredible!
Great bowling and cheap drinks!
Good family fun
Good for corporate outing
Great place to bring friends
Had a blast and dont remember!!!
Good food great fun
Severly awkward and Looks Very cheap
Great bowling ally with reasonable prices.
Had a really good time
Took the family and we did the all you can bowl package we played 6 games had a blast. They have food and beverage service, and they rent shoes.
Had a great time
School function, had a good time.
Bowling and Yuengling, need I say more?
Good weekday bowling prices, always clean and in good working order, great classic bowling alley food!
Lanes break down. The alley needs slot of updates.
Tuesday night special you can bowl for $5 from 10 to 2 in the morning plenty of beer and food the atmosphere is on on point DJ jam good times
I would not recommend going to this bowling alley, the house balls must be 30 years old , the lanes are not oiled properly, our lane broke down 5 times in 2 games , then we switched lanes and it broke down 2 times in 1 game. The computers that are behind the desk I believe are from the 70s or 80s no joke. From what I can tell from a business man perspective, the owners do have not put money back into the lanes in forever. Everything is dated . I personally will not go back to this place to bowl.
Not the most clean place, but always a blast.
Outdated, however if they would remove the creepy smiley faces; they could be very retro. I did love that aspect of the facility.
Great place to go with the family.
Great location, the place is clean.
Ok good staff
Been bowling at Ten Pin for 10 years now. Started bowling competitively in High School and began to see a different perspective on Bowling Alleys. Ten Pin lanes in the past few years changed management, and it has done wonders for their business. The staff are cool people and prompt to assist you, and the prices are great, especially if you have your own shoes, and they have deals 6 nights a week. A highlight is their Tuesday night special where you can get unlimited bowling for like $7, and they're open until 2am. The equipment, despite popular belief, is quite new. The pinsetters and equipment in the back of house operates much more consistently than their old counterparts. And the new computer system is much better than the old janky computers. The lanes are well oiled, but if you're trying to practice or bowl high games, make sure you go in the afternoon. Those lanes see alot of foot traffic so it can either be very dry, or have oil all over the lane. It's nice that they keep the lanes as oiled as they do, because I get a very consistent reaction from my ball thanks to it. I've included some series scores that I've gotten from bowling casually at 10 Pin. I would suggest anyone that is a fan or bowling, casual or experienced, to check out 10 Pin. It's one of the best houses in Louisville. 5/5
Not brand new...Had a few issues with the lane stoping every once in a while, other then that the prices to bowl were good
Always a fun time
Pretty good atmosphere, workers were very curtious and answered all my questions...
Expensive and very dated.
Seems like a good place for kids parties and family events. The snack bar is well equipped and the staff are friendly. There are modern screens, nice balls, and the rental shoes aren't beaten up. That said if you're a more serious bowler the lanes were dry during my visit and the ball return kept putting rubber marks on my ball so it may not be ideal for more serious bowlers.
Definitely needs some updating.
Good family fun.
Very slow service. My lane kept messing up and knocking over pins.
This is such a fun place! I went to their late night Tuesday thing and it was a great time! Plus, the shoes aren't narrow like I've experienced at other places in the past and fit comfortably (as comfortable as bowling shoes can)
Bowled here all my life. 2 years ago I would have given it a 3 star review, but after a change in management and staff, and some of the changes they've implemented, this bowling alley has returned to what I've known and loved.
Old bowling allwy quaint
Awesome place to bowl and hang out.
Came here for kids bowl free program, and encountered extremely unprofessional staff. Snack bar worker acted like it was a chore to ring up a soft drink (we were the only customers) and snapped at my kids for touching things on the counter. Really? Maybe you shouldn't participate in Kids Bowl Free if you don't want kids in your bowling alley! Oh, and apparently it's ok to just drop off rude teenagers with no parental supervision. We had the pleasure of bowling in the lane next to them. I'll never come back here, and I recommend you don't waste your time!
Place is good with lots of bowling lanes. The bowling balls needs to be wiped before playing as it was very greasy..
Good, stereotypical bowling alley
Love the atmosphere here. Always friendly people!
nice place to go if you have the money VERY CLEAN AND TIDY
Great prices and service.
Great customer service but horrible lanes and horrible balls
All good except the long waiting time.
Great time!! Had my daughters 7th birthday and we got a round of bowling in for the kids and the adults got 2 games in. Party room is great... And my daughter loves the bowling pin that everyone got to sign!
great bowling place been there a few times when i come from out of town durring the summer time from columbus ohio staff is nice and had a lot of fun cant wait to see it again on my next trip
Great to host a birthday party! The party room rentals are worth every penny.
Cashier name Amy was very very Rude to me
lots o fun.
Cheapest place in Louisville to bowl with great staff.
I have loved this place since I was a kid!!
Overall great place friendly staff. They do provide socks for 3 dollars.
I loved that in the middle of my niece's birthday party they turned the lights off for "cosmic bowling"
I mean you can bowl there and that’s all that really matters. That being said I wouldn’t be surprised if the building came crashing down on me as I was bowling.
The overall experiance was amazing, I go there every Friday with my school bowling league. The management is nice, but th
