Not sure why a handlebar moustached armed security guard is necessary. And after ten years of military experience I couldn't figure out why his hand was resting on his sidearm the entire time. Made me a bit uncomfortable given the atmosphere of a bar. Other than that good service and people.

This place is so fun. Many things to do. It has a 36 lane bowling alley. The lanes are in great shape. The selection of house balls is limited so you may want to bring your own. The bar are and the back have many pool tables. Dollar a game and the tables are level and decent covers. The arcade game is one where you get tickets for prizes. Some old favorites and some big flashy shootem up games. There is bumper cars, a nine hole mini golf, laser tag, and batting cages. The snack bar makes good food, I highly recommend the spicy chicken sandwich. For a birthday party it would be fantastic. And adults can have a blast there to. All in all I'd give it a 5 star rating.

They asked my kids if they r a boy or girl the 2 guys at the bumper cars and were staring at my kids when they were driving the bumper cars I would never recommend not to come here no more staff is very rude the food is nasty taste like Walmart chicken they need some deep cleaning , I will never come here again extremely rude why do they care if my kid is a boy or girl, and then looking at my child while driving the bumper cars they felt very uncomfortable don’t come to this place I advice u don’t come here very bad place

Updated arcade, bowling, laser tag, mini golf, bumper cars and pool. They even have wristband Sunday and Wednesday. Fun for kids and adults. Only downfall, to me, is the Birthday packages are too high priced, better off with wristbands.

Been going here for years. They've added some attractions that seem appealing to kids. I did Laser Tag with my two oldest boys and they had a blast. However the bowling was really lacking. Our lane got stuck constantly and had to have a worker go to the back to reset the lane or have stuck bowling balls sent back to us. One game with 4 players took over an hour.

I'm having a hard time rating this place. We are from out of town and meet another couple who was also from out of town there. We asked if could get two lanes and the bleach blond kid at counter said no that you had to have 8 people to get two lanes. And it was no concern to him if we didn't like it. Are you kidding me ! So after talking with others there they called the owner to help fix this situation after about 20 minutes they got us two lanes . Only half the lanes were being used so I am glad they corrected it. I hate to see someone lose there job but he did not need to be there. Thanks to all that helped us.

Sofar; my friends and I have celebrated a birthday and Halloween there. Just as we did the last time; we went on a Wednesday. Just like the last time we had a blast! If you go make use of the "wristband" package. For $15 p/person one gets unlimited: bowling, lazer tag, mini golf, bumber cars and shoe rental. There's also an arcade, two pool halls, concession stand and a bar. It starts at 6pm.

I went here with a couple of friends for a low key bachelor party. We probably spent around $200 collectively and for the most part had a good time. Before leaving, the 4 of us were just hanging out in the parking lot by our cars for 10 or 15 minutes, minding our own business and the ARMED security guard comes up to us and asks us to leave. The handle-bared mustached pig had his hand on his gun throughout the whole interaction. He did not raise his voice or escalate but it was very intimidating and unnecessary. He told us that he was "grateful for us spending our money there" after telling us to leave 0.o I am never spending another cent there again.

Bad place to go, the people are rude as can be. Only one door was open and the guy was mopping the floor when we went to leave he started cussing us out because he would now have to re mop the floor. There was no other way to leave. Mini golf is for little kids not the kind you can play as an older kid or adult.

Was there for a birthday party, they acted like when we requested what they forgot it was the biggest deal and never returned back to us so we had to go get it ourselves. They had own tokens locked up in the office and stated they could not access them, they did not give us the time we reserved for laser tag . I could go on and on but I would never recommend having a birthday party at this location. The absolute worst experience I’ve ever dealt with. Will NEVER return

Southern Lanes is really fun. The different "themes" you can use for your bowling experience is really unique and super neat. It's a clean, huge place and the prices are pretty reasonable. Also it's open 24 hrs for some reason. $1 bowling from 3-9 am. The arcade room was nice too.

I can't say it's good or bad. Everything was fine and had a great time. Had a pitcher of beer and bowled 4 games. Lanes were good, staff was nice; However, the balls left a lot to be desired. They were all so beat up that who knows if those things rolled straight! lol But I just went to have fun so I didn't put a lot of thought into those balls. Had a good time! Y'all check em out

The owner of that establishment is racist the bathrooms are a mess the staff half of them are teenagers and don't want to be there it's just not a pleasant place to be some of the people that work in the snack bar do not use gloves when they're making people's food and it's also overpriced I will never ever set foot in that place again nor will I take my kids if their School takes them there on a field trip they will not be allowed to go they have a summer program where these children are allowed to just run wild the people that are scheduled to work and keep an eye on these children are children themselves I was told by some of the employees that they don't even like their boss it just really sucks because this is the only bowling alley in town but it's the worst establishment on the planet the owner is a money-hungry snake and cannot be trusted

Bowling in the afternoon means zero crowds. We were like one of four lanes in use. Lady at the bowling counter was attentive. I liked their interactive scoring system. Many of their balls had seen their better days. Shoes were not terrible. We only bowled so can’t comment on other activities. Bathrooms were so-so. They could have been better especially since the place was almost empty at 4pm mid week. We did have a good time bowling and would return.

We came on a Saturday. There were no deals to be had, so I won't just them on cost! If you check their Facebook page they consistently run offers for unlimited bowling for a set price. Regardless, my little ones and I had a blast... Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the majority of the arcade games in the rear cost $1 for a play and they ran short of credits FAST! However, we'll be back!

Facility is nice but the management and staff are RUDE. Came in with a party of 11. Had "one" lane open at the time, when the lane next to us "wasn't working" for them to turn around and put someone else on the lane that "wasn't working ". I asked owner/manager if we could have a refund since it's late and we have so many people, he I formed me that we don't do refund, we give rain checks, oh and those expire in one month by the way. My mother in law ordered an order of fries, she got 7 fries in her basket. The lady that gave them to her said "my manager cooked these for you, but I'm going to cook you more since there was hardly anything in the basket." This is our first and our last trip to this bowling alley. We were trying to support a small business in a small town but I will no longer do that due to the simple disrespect of this place.

I used to take my little sister here all the time. The arcade is a lot better now that there are new games and actually almost all of them work. But they are expensive. Most games are $1 for one round so we don't get to play as many games. The other night, my husband and 2 of our friends went here for a bachelor party. We had a good time .We played laser tag and even though it is a very SMALL arena it was fun. Bowling is fine. Afterwards, we were standing outside saying good night and some handlebar mustached guy comes up and tells us to leave .The whole time, his hand was on his gun. Why is a gun even necessary at a place for mostly kids. Yes. There is a bar .But keep that in the bar and get rid of the gun. I will never go back because of Mustache. Get rid of the gun and him. He made us all feel very uncomfortable and had the audacity to say thanks for spending ur money. Well, we all collectively spent $200 and if that's how u thank us.....no.

This is a nice big bowling alley with several other things to do besides bowl. Our kids had so much fun climbing the rock wall, playing laser tag and riding bumper cars. The staff was very nice and helpful. They even let the kids go over the time limit on the rock wall since there was no one waiting. I would definitely take the kids back there again.

The southern lanes bowling alley and arcade is alright to play and have fun in, its the billiard room that I have problems with! First of all if I'm going to pay the jukebox to play a song, I would like to hear it! However you can't when you have bumper cars blaring and roaring on the other side of the same room your in! I highly suggest for southern lanes to get it together and put a wall of some kind up to silence most of that sound from the bumper cars!!! You can ask and ask the employees to turn the speakers up but they give attitudes and plus if they had sound control on bumper cars they wouldn't have to turn up the speakers! All I'm asking southern lanes!

This is a cool bowling alley in the college town of Bowling Green Kentucky. Open 24 hours, come here for some fun bowling or drinking at the bar. The place is mostly occupied by college students. The prices are reasonable amd things are pretty well maintained.

Laser Tag was the best part of this place and that was even rough. They had one guy(kid) running two different game areas and I guess he forgot how to speak. He left several people standing around not sure what to do and missed out on playing. I was a bit annoyed. We went there for bowling and laser tag. The cashier asked us how many games of Bowling and we said we wanted two. For for of us to bowl two games was $57. While we were waiting turns, I was looking around the facility as I had never been there. On a large sign wayyyy across the room, it said Wednesdays were arm band night. The sign was high up on the wall mixed in with a bunch of other signs so it wasn't something you would spot right away. Seven of us came in at once and didn't see it. For $15 per person, you can get unlimited bowling, mini golf, laser tag, etc., so basically for three more bucks, all four of us could have done all that. Needless to say, we chose not to laser tag.

The bowling alley is great, but I would recommend visiting only for that. The arcade and other gimmicky areas in the back are not worth the price, with the exception of the rock wall. It's actually pretty fun in comparison to the other activities here. Most of the arcade machines don't work, and the billiard tables are subpar at best. Although it's a bowling alley with a serious identity crisis, it still puts the "Bowling" in "Bowling Green".

Staff was HORRIBLY rude (guy with shaggy bleached hair). Treated us like garbage for asking questions and let regulars cut in front of us after we had been standing there in line for over 10 minutes. Otherwise the place is decently clean, the balls are trash and over waxed to make up for it .have some good specials if you can overlook the rest. Okay for smaller kids or anyone that's not a serious bowler .sadly the only bowling alley for miles around .
