Went last night 1-1-19 and purchased 4 games and 2 shoes . Multiple times on just our first game the balls kept getting stuck. I walked to the front desk the first time and asked if they could help and to get a rag to wipe the balls. Every time my boyfriend would take his turn the balls would get stuck in the back, so the first time they fixed it the guy ended up taking the ball my boyfriend was using. This kept happening each turn we took and after about 2 minutes they would sometimes fix themselves. So we start our second game and on the first roll the ball gets stuck so we called the desk for a second time because after waiting it didn’t stop. They fix it and when the guy was moving the balls the mechine took it as a turn so my boyfriend got skipped his turn. At this point we are all ready over it cause every time we go we have to wait 3-5 minutes for it to work itself out or for them to do it. So about 4 turns into the second game it gets stuck in the back so we call the desk again and when the guy was fixing it it skipped one of our turns and he took the second ball my boyfriend was using. At that point I’m over it and I want to leave. So we go to try to get a refund because we couldn’t enjoy our games and the lady who said she was the manager refused to give me ANY money back because there is a no return policy. There were no signs anywhere stating that. She wouldn’t even give me a refund for the games I didn’t get to play. Instead she brings back two free games and I tried to explain to her that I DID NOT want to come back because of the problems we were having. She does not care about customers being satisfied with the experience there. WILL NEVER BE BACK TO THE PLACE AND WILL MAKE SURE I TELL OTHERS OF THERE RUN DOWN LANES AND BAD POLICIES!!

Great prices on games. You can bowl by game or by hour. I grew up going to this bowling alley and I hope it stays. Only 4 stars because the place could use a little picker upper cosmetically.

I will not go there anymore. Keep turning lanes off in middle of paid games, not by the hour. Reset buttons dont work. Employees are old and crabby. Have been there several times before, nothing has improved.

Where do I start I bowl here about 2 times a week just because it's close to home so this is the best review you're gonna read ...1)the lanes SUCK can't remember the last time I played a game that didn't need at least 2 lane sweeps 2) the shoes are falling apart 3) it smells like cigs 4) music??? 5) out of every bowling alley in Louisville it's literally the most dated one ..It literally looks like you're in the 50s why don't they just sale it to an owner that actually cares about the place and actually wants to compete with other bowling alleys this place needs to be on a show like bar rescue but for bowling alleys!! The Good Things About Kenbowl: 1) the food is amazing if this was a restraunt instead of a bowling alley I'd give it 5 stars 2) Besides league nights no one is ever there so its not really crowded like newer bowling alleys Conclusion: Think about how bad this place has to suck for me to write this long review!! If you want a real fun bowling experience go ANYWHERE else

It was awesome coming here. They kept the lights on, service wasn’t amazing at all. Yet bowling is still bowling and they provided it well. Aside from the alley breaking down every so often, you can’t expect much more from $6 per person. You get what you pay for and $6 for what you get here is pretty good.

I can get my average here even on a dry lane. What I love is the food from the restaurant and the ambiance of the place. It revokes the feel of the 1960's, something that has been lost in many places these days. However, lane 10 sometimes has a problem with re-racking the pins. Who can beat their $1/game Friday Special anywhere else?

My 6 year old niece had a birthday party there. The employees were extremely rude to us. You would think they would be nice and have great customer service since they offer birthday packages but they don't. Besides that everything in the bowling alley is old. I wouldn't waste my money or time going there.

Used to come in regularly on weekends a couple of years ago and would get wonderful services from a fellow named Ben or Brian at the front register and Kelsey or Kelly in the snack bar I moved away and recently came back down to KY to visit with the family and thought I’d take them up there to bowl and got the worst service I’ve ever had there. Everyone’s older and crabby and it seems like your presence is a inconvenience. Never again. - Ben

I like the neon bowling lanes and pins. Funny animated characters of your team players throughout the game on your score TV screen. You upload your picture, they're pretty funny. Decent food and beer prices. Not a large selection but it will get you by.

Always very hot inside. The lanes are always breaking down and they either move you or constantly make you wait for them to be fixed and wastes alot of your time and they dont add any time back on for you. Food is ok but the staff isnt very sanitary. Would recommend you to go else where for sure especially for leagues.

The shoes were decent. The balls were chipped and slicker then hell, no variety in weights. Their service at the food place was alright, but the cook didn’t wash her hands. They didn’t serve me beer because they said my Missouri ID was fake, I’m 23 and they didn’t even look at the date on the ID. The bartender was extremely rude to me raising her voice and it was only after I let her continue her rant that she calmed down and told me to speak with “Joe” at the counter. I spoke with the guy at the counter and he asked me how old it would make me if I were born on my birthdate. I answered correctly and he handed it to another guy who just deferred back to the expertise of the rude bartender. It would be one thing if someone just said “we have a problem with young guys bringing fake IDs” instead of just brushing me off and then telling my friend that he is allowed to buy me drinks but I can’t buy my own. Is that really your cop out? I can’t believe the service I got.. Terrible experience because instead of doing their job their staff just assumed something about me instead of asking questions.

Came to bowl with my 4 year old son and went to our lane. Lane would not work and I called for help 4 times. My son and I sat for over 1/2 hour waiting and never got to t.hrow one ball. I asked for refund and was told there is a no refund policy. The employees are rude. The place is horrible. Save your money. Go somewhere else.

I hope everyone reads this before going to Kenwood Bowling alley What a disappointment it was to spend over $250 for me and my family to go bowling on lanes that were in terrible repair The staff was so rude and would not reset the pins that kept falling out before a ball was ever thrown. This bowling alley need new management or a new owner to get some serious repair and appropriate staff. Surely the south end deserves better!!!
