The lanes and atmosphere are great. My family has been bowling here for as long as I can remember. But every time I've been here there has been a woman at the snack bar who is incredibly rude. Every interaction I've had with her she acts like I'm ruining her day. She also doesn't wear a hair net and I watched her handle my money and then handle food with the same gloves on.

I did NOT agree with the manager being ok with a adult woman being out on the go-carts with other people's kids riding and she had been inside bowling and drinking alcohol before getting on the carts. I questioned management and he said well as long as she isnt fully intoxicated she could be out there..

Of course back in the day this bowling alley probably spent a half a million dollars outfitting their business with 100% Brunswick accessories and infrastructure. Now it's quite dated, the computer system and screens for tracking scores are CRT. Otherwise, great atmosphere super clean, lots of fun.

Just here for league games. Overpriced drinks, jello shots are a joke. Kitchen staff does not wear gloves. Picks up trash off the floor, throws it away and cotinues making food. Told 3 employees that the soap was out in the restroom. 3 hours later, still no soap. We won't be returning.

This place is very family-friendly but the food here is very expensive and there are no free refills for the soda pop that u have to pay over $2 for. (And that's not a large) I think there should be free or at least reduced prices for refills. The price for bowling is about average.

Well. My first time getting back out there and bowling since I was 15. I had a freaking blast. I ordered a Bacon Chesseburger and French Fries, it was amazing. The service was good too, and quick. Cant wait for my next trip.

Loved it and we hit it on $1 Tuesday! My only issue was no changing tables. I know not many take a diaper clad kiddo bowling, but I had to find a spot on the floor to change my son. Luckily we had a mat with us. (I didn't check both sets of bathrooms)

As a KC resident, West Ridge reminds me a lot of my local bowling alley, Aaron's Family Fun Center. Which isn't a bad thing... It's just that bowling here felt too familiar to the lanes and the layout of Aaron's Family Fun Center. Other then that, it's a great place.

We arrived here in the afternoon of December 27, 2018 to bowl with 11 family members for an fun after-Christmas get-together. Several of us were from out of town and were planning for an afternoon of fun, food and family. We all pre-paid for 2 games. Halfway through our second game, one of the 2 lanes we were using stopped and the screen said something to the effect that our game was over, although we still had 4 rounds left to play. We went and talked to the desk and they appeared to not know why our game stopped. Shortly thereafter, the "manager" asked us to show all of our receipts and accused of not paying. I told her that yes, we all pre-paid, and all of us but one (who payed cash) showed her our receipts for paying for 2 games each. Long story short, we spent over $150 at this establishment and were not able to play the games we paid for. We were treated disrespectfully, and when I demanded that she refund my sister (who paid for 9 of the 11 people), the "manager" (short stocky female) asked me to leave and said it was "none of my business." I asked her for her name and she said she didn't have to give me my name. I walked over the the snack bar and talked to the young man (who had overheard the ordeal) and he refused to give me HIS name, and also refused to give me hers and just said she was "the manager." We won't be back.

We joined the family summer kidsbowlfree for $30.00. I have also went with a few of my child's friends on dollar day Tuesdays during the summer. The 11 year olds enjoyed their time bowling and playing arcade games. It was a nice air conditioned retreat on a humid afternoon. Pizza and slushies were also favorites if the kids.

The place is showing its age, but staff at the desk was friendly, had some good laughs while chatting with her while getting things taken care of. We had no problems with the bowling, and the other groups with us all seemed to be having a good time. Of note is that the Go Karts should be avoided. They are poorly maintained, with some barely managing to exceed a walking pace, the track is run down and horribly cracked, and the guy staffing it just seemed unconcerned about pretty much everything except whether or not I was a "True Fan" of Doctor Who or just liked the shirt. I went with some friends for a friendly competition, but that proved impossible as the Go Karts level of performance varied so widely, despite originally being identical. (The engine hour counter on my Kart was stuck between 9999 and XXXXk, but I still managed to lap everyone, some people in the junkier karts multiple times.)

Safe place for kids, lots of parking, everything is in good shape, lanes are nice, arcade is Really big with a few party rooms for birthdays and such. We had one game that didn't work when we got there but the "game guy" was there and he got us taken care of quickly...it turns out the Chuck E Cheese tokens we were trying to use won't work here...we had some left over from when we went there, they don't work other arcades in town ...lol...that was our fault. He was cool with it and we had a great time. They also have Go-Karts, they're not really fast but they are fun. One of the Karts had a mechanical problem they couldn't fix but they got us hooked up for an extra race the next time around. The Mini-Golf area is nice and well kept. Have fun, its well worth trying out.

There are 32 lanes to use. The atmosphere is very kind friendly. Everything has been updated in the past couple of years. When we were there on a Saturday afternoon, the screens were geared more toward young kids. The vast majority of the bowlers were adults.

Myself and some other moms from the neighborhood took the kids here for go-karts, golf, the arcade and some lunch. The go-karts had issues so they weren't much fun. Golf was ok. The arcade was great, my son hit 1000 on the Big Bass Spinner game so he got some neat prizes. Snack bar was pretty expensive but it was ok. Overall it was pretty good.

I think this is a good place they have to go karts putt putt golf and while your friends are bowling and you're not you can enjoy other things they have a pool table and they have a lounging area where the TV is I think it's a good place enjoyed my time there

Tried to go at 5pm on a Monday to bowl a game or 2 with my 4 year old. They told me I couldn't bowl a game because of league. There was 8 people in the place bowling on 2 different lanes. Not sure what time league starts but I guess I'll just go to the Pennant from here on out since I couldn't use any of the 20+ empty lanes for 20-30 minutes.

Very nice family fun center! Our family especially enjoys the go-karts, although there is a wide assortment of entertainment. A special shout-out to Jeff, the employee at the outdoor go-karts! He was very helpful and considerate, and a genuinely kind person, who helped our most recent visit be even more enjoyable.

We went there for Go Karts but several weren't working. We went to to try golf but there was nobody in the shack. We sat and waited but nobody showed up. The thing was frustrating was that we went in to ask if someone knew where the golf attendant was and some lady was really rude to us, we told her their was nobody in the shack and she got mad and said her son worked at the bowling alley and she knows for a fact that there is always someone out there, we told her that there was no reason to be rude, she said she was the owners friend and she cleaned the place at night and if we had a problem we could always go somewhere else. Then she started to lecture us so we just walked away and went into the arcade, the kids had a blast in there! Snack bar was pretty good too!

Go karts were really slow. Putt putt was small at best (I'm jaded though). Arcade was awesome with s good ticket handout for winnings. Lanes were well lit, and everything was clean. Bar was expensive for enexpensive beer (the bar across the street serves the best pizza in town and craft beers for less). Staff was very friendly.

This is an edited review. The last time I visited here with my kids, we had a bad experience with the manager, John. However, when we all went in today, he sought me out, apologized, and we had a good conversation. We both left feeling much better about the situation. Everyone deserves a second chance. I am so glad that I gave West Ridge lanes another chance. This is our neighborhood bowling alley and we have been going here for years. It is a very clean up-to-date, well run facility. I do recommend it.
