Very nice place for family fun. It's a clean and friendly establishment, normal prices for standard bowling. Seemed to be a wide menu of choices for food/drink. Small arcade which is also clean and would be fun for kids and adults alike. Have gone more than once, will plan on continuing.

We visited on a team outing for work and it was a fun time getting to see who might be extremely serious about bowling versus those who just wanted to have some fun. The amenities aren't quite as cutting edge as B&B, but it is a very nice location and we never had any issues with the equipment and it is a far more cozy and purpose oriented set up than B&B. The electronic scorekeeping was fairly accurate and it was interesting how the scoreboards would give suggestions on cleaning up any pins you had missed after your first frame. We ordered some appetizers and drinks and the staff brought them out quickly and made sure to clean up the pitchers and empty food containers very frequently.

This is a great bowling alley. The staff is very friendly and always greet you with a smile. Everything is super clean and and bright. I love the vibe of this place. I have NEVER felt rushed when visiting. My son is new to bowling and Brad (co-owner) has gone out of his way to provide tips and encouraging words. They do have a small pro shop but what they lack in size they make up for in service. We have bought a couple of balls and a bag and have been very impressed with the service we received and the fair prices. I do feel that the Des Moines area has a number of really great places to bowl but consider Warrior Lanes to be the best. Keep up the good work!

We planned my three year old son's birthday party here. I called ahead to pre order snacks for the kids and they told me that they would let me bring my own in since it was little kids and they didn't want to have to make me pay for a bunch of food. That was nice. However, half way through the party the manager came over to me and told me rudely that we weren't supposed to bring in outside food. I told her that when I called they said it was ok. She gave me a dirty look and walked away and said she would talk to her staff. They also wouldn't let us have water for the kids by the lanes. But others could drink beer by the lanes? At the end of the party they wouldn't give us our deposit back because we brought outside food in. So instead of me just ordering food like I tried to do when I called, they wouldn't give us our deposit. Extremely poor customer service. I will not be returning.

Small but they try. Beer was semi-expensive, food wasn't offered. Stopped music and told it was time to leave the second they closed. Staff was not very good at all. I will be back but only because you are the closest bowling option I have. But it would be nice to have a real bowling alley in Waukee.

It started out quite dicey! We were greeted by the owner with a horrible attitude - First of all, we brought in a packaged gift of candies with a balloon that said “Happy Birthday”. I understand there is a policy that is no food from outside, we are respectful - when I saw the sign, I immediately took my Starbucks outside and put it in the garbage. Rather than politely reinforce the rule, she was condescending to both my husband and myself. Then when she realized it was a birthday party, she asked “well how many of you will there be?” (with attitude) and we responded with 11. She mumbled, but loud enough for us to hear “well that would have been nice to know.” Ummm... you’re kidding me right?! There were 6 open lanes the entire time we were there, we spent well over $400 as a group on food, arcade games and bowling. They weren’t busy at all. The place was clean and we enjoyed the bowling. I wouldn’t recommend engaging with the owner. We all have bad days, but this was unacceptable for the owner. No wonder there are reviews primarily about the unfriendly staff - starts with the top. There were two individuals that redeemed this from a 1 Star - Cameron (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) and the chef. They were polite and talkative.

Pretty nice bowling alley with some arcade games. The alley is kind of small but they have automatic bumpers between bowlers which is neat. The arcade is the kind of place where you have to load a card so its more than .25 or .50 per game

Would give less than 1 star if it were an option. Went to bowl at 4:30 on Saturday afternoon, was told it would be a 30 minute.wait. Waited 30 mins and watched as 1 lane, then 2 lanes went open. Asked the juvenile behind the counter how long it would be and was told another 10 mins. Waited 10 more minutes, while 2 lanes were still empty, and then decided to leave. Don't be back. No sign of "adult" management anywhere. Could have bowled 3 games on the "reserved" lanes while they sat unused.

It's a small, clean, well-maintained, modern bowling alley. There are often special prices available, but when there aren't, it can be a little pricey. The staff seems helpful and pleasant enough. The snack bar food is decent.

Beautiful facility. Will bring grandkids here for an afternoon sometime. Only bad part of the experience we has a private room for a company party and while we were bowling, someone went in and two of our employees had money and gift cards taken out of their purse. No video surveillance and nothing they would do. No entirely their fault, but cameras would have been perfect!

Horrible service , waited there for over an hour, kept telling us another 25 to 30 minutes . Workers and manager were very rude, just seemed to not care at all. And shame on us, this was the third time this has happened there. Need new management. Go to val lanes, WAY better!
