This Bowling Alley belongs to the category of Bowling alley.
Had a great time at Stone Lanes bowling a few games on a recent Saturday night. The place was very busy with birthday parties, and most lanes were full. The women’s bathroom could use some attention as it’s pretty dingy and beat up. But clean! People were happy and having fun. The staff was friendly, helpful and cheerful. Overall great atmosphere. I highly recommend and can’t wait to go again.
Friendly and family oriented.
Wow so much fun!!!
Fantastic staff! Love my league
Bowling is okay. Pizza might be microwaved. I still ate it though.
Fun place but most bowling lines are not working properly.
Cool vibe. But lanes were very dry.
Nice , friendly lanes.good draft selection!
All the bowling and pizza you can handle. Enough said
Found a bug in my drink, the employee remade my drink and I found another bug in my drink and asked for a refund. The employee was very rude, and I will not be returning.
Had fun
An unassuming Xavier favorite. The lanes are straight, and the shoes fit without making you look like you joined the circus. They have very good pizza for a bowling alley.
Usually come here for our club fundraisers, SL make an easy job of it!
Fun. Had a blast. Excellent draft selection.
On field trip with PCMS 5th Qtr Summer School/Camp. Fun time had by all.
This place rocks! Coming back soon.
Love going on Sunday's for their 2hr family special!
Slightly scary in an old school Wood of Nor kinda way.
We enjoyed the time we spent bowling at lunch. And hamburgers and fries were good.
Typical old bowling alley. Not very clean. Average food selection, pizza not good.
Everything you could want from a bowling alley. It had the typical, grimy bowling alley aesthetic that is not so dirty as to be off-putting or uncomfortable, yet derelict enough to host a relaxing and cheap evening with friends. Attended with my friends club team who used the bowling alley as a fundraiser and the organization is very generous offering an hour and a half of bowling for $10, half of which goes to the club. Also saw that there was a Wednesday pizza and bowl night which typically offers a similar deal with all you can eat pizza for just $12. Saw that there was a full bar, but didn't check out what was offered. All in all, would recommend this bowling alley and will certainly be back!
Talk about retro, this place is a blast from the past. Everything youd expect from a bowling ally excluding the tabacco and crying babies.
Best bowling alley in Cincinnati
Mediocre bowling alley. Good pizza, basic bar drinks. Our lanes kept getting stuck and messednup with pins, so we continually had to ask for them to reset.
Lanes not leveled
It's fun, good for just wanting to have fun. And the prices are GREAT! :-)
This place was awesome! I haven't been here in years. The last time I went to Stone Lanes was when I was a teenager and I had a horrible experience. The staff at the time was racist. But now I am 31 years old and my experience was totally different from when I was a teenager. Today I went to Stone Lanes for my nephew's 10th birthday party. The young lady at the desk was very friendly and very helpful. She was also very patient. I would recommend Stone Lanes to others. The staff was very attentive to our needs.
Great family own place but the food not so good
Had a great experience with the grandbabies bowling, discus good too. Very reasonably priced. Will definitely go again!
Everyone should go bowling at least once a decade. Loads of fun with family, friends or work colleagues. Stone Lanes is as good as any and recent research shows this may be the oldest public bowling alley in the U.S.
Very friendly staff. Pizza is surprisingly good for bowling alley food. Had my brothers birthday part here and staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating.
Great place & location, though a bit out-dated (techwise)
Not always the friendliness service. We have issues with lanes not working at least once a week.
Had a great time friendly staff
The place is okay but the lanes can be messed up and the floors where wet. Also the way the charge per game is confusing so make sure you get clarity before you pay
Great selection of local craft beers at good prices. A friendly and attentive staff as well!
Stones is just ok. The lanes constantly need to be reset. It's cheap to bowl though
Had to wait forever
Después de hacer mucho camino para ir, no pudimos jugar. En la puerta pone el horario los domingos de 11am a 11pm. Eran las 8:30 y nos dicen que está cerrado. Y en la puerta pone abierto... Al final nos fuimos
Awesome old school bowling
Wednesday nights are 12$ for unlimited games and pizza. Expect it was limited to two hours of unlimited games and they quit making pizza 45minutes in to our two hours. It wasn't crazy busy, but they had one side of the alley full.
Great place for a work group to go for a celebration or team building.
Yay
Great experience
Worked here for 2 and a half years. Bowled for 2, always found that having a positive attitude towards the staff has helped them move along. Food here is surprisingly really good, drinks are cheap and they have a fantastic beer selection.
Great place for some casual bowling! Bowling and beer prices are reasonable.
We had a girls night out. Prices was reasonable stuff helpful
Good service, even when very busy
It is a very nice place. My aunt used to bowl there in the 70's.
Great little hometown alley synthetic lanes work well and dont break down.
Nice bucket of beer. Subpar food.
Kinda old facility but everything worked
Tried to call to get pricing and the lady was like can u go to the website... Like ok geesh me wanting to give business to u really that inconvenient.... Dont even wanna go if thats how u treat a simple phone call!
1980s vibe; disability friendly
Pretty good rates for birthday parties. Clean facility and very tasty pizza!
Below average and ridiculously priced bowling alley for the area. - The cost for games and shoes is double what you can find at other alleys within a 15-20min drive. - The drinks were highly priced, and the bartender was young and very inexperienced. I don't mind paying for a good drink, but not for mediocre drinks and bad service. I understand that bartenders have to start somewhere, but not where I have to pay a ridiculous amount. - The technology hasn't been updated in this bowling alley for a couple decades, and it is very outdated. + They do have two sections, a black-light alley and a normal alley. The atmosphere is just like any other alley, so it was still a fun time and good experience. Overall, if I can pick another alley, I would.
I have been here twice, the first time was unmemorable. The second, wasn't satisfying. There beer cheese pretzel is good but it took way to long. And the lanes might be a bit over oiled. I'm a decent bowler, not the best, I found it challenging to keep the ball on the lane. Maybe I just need to work on my technique.
Brought the kids here for a birthday party and had an absolute blast! The automated scoring was a dream when bowling with 6 kids! Getting 2 open lanes on a Sat afternoon was easy and made for a fun party!
Well oiled lanes. Wonderful staff. Very helpful. Had a great time throwing stones for two hours and all the pizza I could eat. Not too shabby on the texture and flavor. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
Came with a group of parents and a herd of children under 5. Fantastic place. Music is so loud you can’t hear your kids cry/scream. If you do hear your kid crying, they offer beer by the pitcher to help you get over it. They offered a Saturday afternoon special which included an hour or two of bowling for the group and a large pizza.
They have a bar and food. 3 on a Saturday, and it wasn't really crowded. You can purchase 2 hours of bowling for $15 per person, which is what we did. Great place for just some regular bowling.
It's a casual place where the bowling is no better or worse than anywhere else. They have beer and food as you would expect. Only giving four stars because the place is dirty and they have buckets hanging from the ceiling to catch the leaking rain water.
Website said specifically that they would be open from 5pm-1am Christmas day. Door also said this. So can someone fill me in as to why the door was locked at 10:30pm?
Very classic feeling bowling alley. Nice spot to hang out in and play a while
Got a strike there
Great place for fun family time. The staff is awesome. Don't go in hungry though. It takes 45 minutes to an hour to get food.
Feels like an old time bowling alley
Nice alley!
Great people cheap beer and bowling? Can't get any better
Decent bowling and bar. Pizza just ok. Good weekday deals.
Bowling, billiard, unlimited pizza, drinks, nice clean, two places for bowling, nice unisex bathroom, special events for kids also league event always going on.
Decent bowling alley. Not super busy.
Lanes have less oil than the approach... Be ready to slide
They kicked us out super quick, which was absolutely atrociousness...other than that, it was swell
Cheap good fun, just like the 70s. Smells like it too!
The bartender is a sexy dude, but happily married.
If you can manage to get a lane on the side with the nice tvs and the black lights youll have a good time. If you get stuck on the lanes littered with old pizza crusts and abandoned children not so much.
They are horrible the prices are high this is a lame place to be bowling at i hate this bowling alley
Love going here. The prices aren't inflated and I always have a good time
Seems very family-friendly. Pizza was good better than I expected. And a decent tap beer selection. In the Grateful dead bowling night was really fun!
The atmosphere is totally chill. The price is awesome. The lighting in the place makes you feel like you've entered a place to have fun!! Love Love Loved it!!!!
Really good place to take your family!!!
Free parking. Kind staff. Great place to bowl.
IT WAS AMAZING EASY 5 STARS
Needs a little oil
There's no pro shop and the lanes are old. Break downs are common. But the staff is very friendly and the food is pretty good for a bowling alley.
Depending on who was there when you come in the workers are rude. They always close early. The shutdown the kitchen super early. Just negative experience on more than one occasion. I would not recommend going to this place. Today is Father's Day 2018 in the website says that fathers bowl for free until 8 p.m. today, the lady just told me that they close at 6. I told her what is on the website and she said oh well we're still closing at 6.
Went on a slow night with a group from work. We had fun time. If you are looking for a flashy modern place, this isn't it. If you want to bowl and maybe have some mastalgia from younger bowling days, you'll love it.
Enjoyed my time bowling here, though twas a bit expensive than other options (newport that is)
It was crowded, but we enjoyed ourselves.
Bad pizza, expensive beer, plastic laminate bowling lanes, but all in all it's okay. The atmosphere is pretty family-friendly and it was fun with my young daughter and her friends. It was crowded just now on this Friday night.
Dirty. The lane wasn't counting all the pins that were knocked down. Then the lanes weren't giving us all the pins. The beer was flat and smelled lime puke. And the bar tender was rude.
Family friendly
Good bowling.
Great alley
Best bowling alley in town
This place has a natch to take a little chuck out of your bowling ball so watch out. Besides that it is a pretty cool place
The manager Janie was the absolute worst. She admitted to me she didn’t care because her family owned the business. I would never come here again.
Very friendly staff. Immaculate bowling area, and workers are quick to wipe down tables when groups leave. Highly recommend.
Great place to go bowling lots of fun
Priced Right, been there forever
Friendly staff and good atmosphere. The environment is old but upkept. Only half of the lanes have "glow" bowl and they put us on the non-glowing side which was a little dissapointing. I imagine you can request the glow lanes though.
What is there to say about Stone Lanes? Well, it's the best bowling alley in the city. It has two bars for easy access to drinks, it has a kitchen with surprisingly good food, and the lanes are modern. Each one has a flat screen above it that actually works. Sometimes the balls are a bit ragged, but that's to be expected from a popular alley.
Looks run down on the outside but is very clean and fun on the inside. Cozy place with just a few lanes. Really nice bar with some craft beers.
Historic venue. Great pricing great beer choices.
Great food and drinks... Great time!
They host Special Olympics on Saturday mornings.
Took my nephew here for his birthday he seemed to enjoy it I was worried about everyone drinking around us.
Had a great time.
I love it
Great place for bowling
Its the worst place to go bowling, you can find some place better to go,when you are bowling the ball goes the oppiste way and it makes you mad also their pizza and drinks are to high a pizza is $13 and a pitcher is $6 like who would want to pay that much for something to drink for that much, and their lanes get stuck for no reason every time you trying to bowl than they won't do nothing into the last minute and their is just a pin in the middle of the lane messing up your throw.like I have so much to say about this place and i want my refund.
Great bowling alley! Not a lot of frills but that's the way I like it. It's a plain place with lanes, pins, wood and balls. Not.mucb else in the way of decoration. But thats not what matters, what matters is getting quality bowling in, and that's what my family got here!
Food was good, price was great, lanes were extremely clean, would definitely reccomend, very slow to fix our pin that went in the gutter
Great !
There place is terrible, their pool tables are broke, and they don't give you a refund for them. The workers are rude and direspectful, and they give you an aditude. Do not go there, go to Crossgate Lanes in Blue Ash. Bowling balls are lob-sided. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!!!!!
Had great time with the kids soccer team from St Cecilia
We had a company event here. Matt made sure we were happy with the service. Everyone had a good time. The whole process from shoes to pizza was handled well. We'll have another event here again. I'm also telling the other departments about how well this went.
This is a cheap and great place for bowling. The food is average though.
