Stardust Bowl is an eccellent place for full family fun. There is a wide variety of games for children, youths and adults..There are bowls g league's for the 3 groups as well as for physically challenged..The cafeteria has reason-ably priced and very tasty entrees as ewell as whole pizzas..I rate Starbdust as the best place to go for healthy exercise and family fun.

Took the wife here on a date when we were on vacation. We enjoyed it a lot and had a blast. Main reason im rating it 3 stars is because they charged us 9 dollars an hour to play pool in which in my eyes is a total rip off .Other than that great service and a fun place to go to

I came here to test out some new equipment I purchased. When I asked if the lanes were oiled recently I was was told yes. The lanes were so dry that I could not use my new ball because it was a for medium to heavy oil. What makes things worse it that I had to prepay for my games.

A family fun entertainment place to go and enjoy yourself with friends and family. If you enjoy bowling they have many leagues that you can join if you're interested. They also offer children leaves on Saturday morning. Some leads play for money at the end of the season some play just for fun.

Whoever the guy is answering phones right now at 4:30 in the afternoon on 1/22/18 is rude as hell i just called and wanted some information about bowling prices and their billiards table and when asked how many tables they have his response was " i dont know, why" i said because i was considering going there this coming saturday and when i asked what the prices were for bowling he gave me the billiards price instead of being rude know what the hell your answering. Will not be going there after all.

Would give 0 if I could. On a Saturday afternoon they did not have any bumpers for my son to play. Poor management. Screaming down the counter and had no available bumpers for the public. 3 year old left in tears. No sense of caring. Will never come again.

My friend and I went here to bowl two rounds and asked the girl at the counter to split the cost of two whole rounds, not split the price of one game. When the first round ended I went to bowl and the manager yelled at us for bowling because she said that what we paid for was over. The manager ran over somewhere else before I could come up and talk to her. I know it wasn't the young girls'fault for misunderstanding, but the manager had no need to be so rude. Won't come back here. Happy Birthday to me I guess!

Rude, please change your hours! Every Sunday we come at 8:30 and they tell us we can't stay and bowl cause it's too late! This place needs new managers and a staff that enjoys their job. Dirty and beat up as well!

for the price this was not worth the bowl. maybe because they were cleaning or something but they stuffed everyone right next to each other on one end of the alley and did not use 3/4 of the building. the building was in disrepair and the bowling balls were all redrilled or missing markings showing the weight. all this might be ok but it was prime time on a weekend! the other parts of the building including the arcade or billiards were dark like they had it closed down. not sure what was up but a very poor experience

Went there to drink a few and play pool and drink a few. Got there at 10:50 They close at 12:00 figured I should have enough time to play a game and get a bucket with my buddy. 11:20 rolls around and they say we got 10 minutes. So we have to finish our game and slam our beers..... not to mention all of their pool cues suck. Wish I would have brought my own ,but didn't have it with me. Next time I'll just go to a place that closes when they say not when they want.

Not a bad place. We went for a child's birthday party & it wasn't bad. Both adults and kids had a blast. The hospitality was a bit lacking like we didn't get any refills on soda and they stuck the party in the middle of the alley with people coming and going past the pizza and gifts so there was constant traffic.

Went here on a Saturday and had to keep switching lanes because they kept messing up and they added time to our limit which was nicd. However we went here a few days later and the lane stopped working waited for about 12 minutes and they said they would fix it in a minute waited longer it was not fixed. My boyfriend went and talked to front desk and the guy was rude to us about it. Do not recommend unless you like your time wasted.

I bought a bowling ball as a gift for a family member shop inside the bowling alley and the 2 guys that were working there were AMAZING... I know quite a bit about bowling because it's basically in my blood... My family is full of bowlers and has been for generations... The guys that work in the shop answered every question I had and were extremely patient with me when I was completely undecided on what I wanted... They then told me about a sale they were having where I could get a ball a bag and a towel for a lot less than I was expecting to pay... After I bought my items the man that was helping me handed me a card for a free game and then on the back of the card he wrote something on it so that the person the gift was for could go in and get the holes drilled and if he didn't like the ball he could pick out one he wanted... My whole experience there was 100 times better than what I was expecting...

I have been to Stardust Bowl several times over the years. It's a good atmosphere and although not all areas of Merrillville are all that safe, you can feel safe in this area. Good for family fun or a night out bowling with the guys. The staff has always been more than friendly to me and my family. Good food/snacks too!

Nice place for a family outing. Its not too updated but its pretty clean and your average bowling alley. Suitable for large groups. Has a new arcade which is nice. Their prices are a little up there but they do have deals certain days of the week for $1 (per person) games. Helpful employees who did provide a few free games when we had an issue with having to leave early after paying. Good management.

Stardust Bowl is a Northwest Indiana region favorite! Super nice people and always a fun crowd! The lanes are AMF Classic Wood lanes for a true bowling alley experience! The billiard/pool tables are the best money can buy...Brunswick Gold Crown 4 1/2 by 9ft competition tables with a snooker table to boot. These are not your cheesy small weighted bar pool tables, these tables test your skills. The pro shop has everything you need with a nice staff and sweet deals. The classic cafeteria style eating area truly takes you back to a more peaceful time in regard to bowling. My client and I got there when they opened and there is nothing better than having an entire bowling alley to yourself for practice. It did fill up so call ahead if you are worried about time. Please visit and support local owned businesses!! You'll regret it if you don't!!

The short fat little blonde with glasses that works the front counter on Saturday night 3/16 needs a lesson on customer service. She was crazy rude on the phone and when we came in to try and bowl. She was unwelcoming and didn’t want to help anyone. Paying customers walked out because of her bad attitude.
