Small location. They had a deal on Groupon took the kids for family night. Food was good, beer bucket is a deal, an the little game room was small but ok. My family had a good time. Service was good an friendly.

Would give 0 if possible. Bought a Groupon for 4 games for 2 people. Only got 2 and when I complained I was told that's how many you get even though the Groupon states you get 4 games not 2. Will never be back.

Fun times! Smaller bowling alley with 16 lanes - so not as loud as larger facilities. It was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. We used a Groupon. Perfect amount of fun.

Inattentive staff kept us from bowling unfortunately. Stood at the register waiting for almost 10 minutes without help. Plenty of open lanes and seemed like it had potential to be a neat place. Lost 4 paying customers because of poor customer service.

It's always the people that make visiting the place of business who determine if your experience is a good one. The young lady who showed me how to work the lanes system was helpful and didn't make me feel stupid. The man you explained the pricing and sold my grandkids and my own shoes was very helpful also. I haven't been bowling in over 20 years. When I asked about duck pin lanes the way he smiled and said they haven't had duck pin in years made me laugh!

Always call ahead because of teams playing. But they will squeeze you in somewhere as soon as a lane is available if you just show up. There bowling balls are plentiful and have kids are welcome to have parties there. Most of there shoes look new but the older one have bad laces which are difficult to tie. Ask for a new pair of laces.

Southern Lanes has a really good bowling atmosphere. The perfect amount of broken ceiling panels and decades old arcade machines sets up a perfect environment. The balls always get stuck in lane 15 though, so watch out for that. They have good deals on Fridays, and the pizza isn't too expensive, perfect for a Friday night session with the boys.

Ball selection and lane quality was outstanding. Service war less that desired. We waited almost 10 minutes just go get a lane when there were plenty open. Then at the service counter for the bar another 10 minutes. Granted there was only 1 bartender it was still slow. Will be returning but hopefully when some decent help is hired.

Fun and nice atmosphere. Everybody seems to know everybody and is a nice place just to go and chill even if for a couple hours. They have a bowling alley and a bar and they also have a back room that does karaoke on the weekends and also they have a DJ as well.

First off, I love that this location does still allow you to smoke inside. As a smoker, this is really nice. The prices are good and they always seem to have shoes available to fit my family and bowling balls in sizes we like to use. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The bowling alley is a great place to take a date or to take the kids for some bowling. They also have decent snacks and a bar inside. They have sand volleyball inside this place as well and you can rent this area out to have birthday parties/family gatherings. It's a very fun place.

This is just about the only place to play indoor beach volleyball in NKY. The drinks are inexpensive and usually strong, which is a plus. I've never actually bowled here, so I can't rate that. They have 3 pool tables that aren't in bad shape. They have golden tee. They occasionally do karaoke. I would rate the bar 4 stars. As far as volleyball, their facilities are not great. Their indoor facilities are very close and have no nets between them. There is usually smoking in the volleyball area and the second-hand smoke often manages to make its way down to the courts. The outdoor facilities also have no nets between them so games often get interrupted when a ball comes in from another court. Their outdoor facilities have an additional hazard that the indoor courts don't have. A short stairway that goes into the play area on one of the courts. I have landed on these previously for a lottery there, but was lucky and didn't get injured. The stair is the worst part of the entire facility and makes me dread playing there in warm weather.

Had a birthday party here. Price was great. Everyone said pizza was good. Bowling was fun. Only 4 stars because beer prices were confusing for customers and bar tender. A bucket of five was a quarter MORE than 5 individual bottles. Plus the bar price and bowling price for beer was different, even though it's the same bar tender. Confusing.

We had a Groupon for 4 people to bowl as well as a large pizza and four drinks. We called ahead and the employee on the phone was extremely rude, informing us that we could not use the coupon after 6 pm. This information was not on the Groupon anywhere, including the fine print. When we arrived, they were unbelievably rude. They acted as though we were somehow ripping them off by using a Groupon and just wanted us to get done and leave. We won't be back.

Your typical small town bowling alley with some extra perks. The bartender makes a great bloody mary, there is a pretty good beer selection, and the arcade has a Lethal Weapon 3 pinball machine! Great place for families and small town prices are a plus.

We had a birthday party here for a 4-year old. The prices were good. The equipment all worked great. Lots of stuff to do. The pizza was made from scratch. We had a great time. And, in the Summer, they have this awesome outdoor grilled dinner at their covered bar. The food is $10, and they have live music! The best kept secret in Alexandria!
