Had a great grand daughters Birthday party there. It was very nice. The kids were entertained, the staff were fantastic and we didn't have to clean up! Loved it!

I used to own 40 Bowl with my ex husband. We had my grand-daughters birthday party there yesterday. He's done a lot of updates and improvements. It looks really clean and good in there. The woman manager isn't very friendly tho. Some of the young kids that's working there needs to learn customer skills as well. Other than that, the bowling alley was a good place to have her party.

Always a load of fun, and the leagues are always fun and competitive! Justin does an awesome job of handling the leagues, tournaments and drilling. Jason does an awesome job of making sure the experience is always great for everyone. All the faculty are extremely nice and always ready to help.

Was very busy for a Sunday. Went in the completely empty bar to play pool. Was greeted rudely by a woman who informed us that they had nobody to bartend. I wasn't finished speaking, when she walked away back into the kitchen. After finding an atm to get change, there were now other people in the bar area, and she was being very rude to them as well as my sister and her bf. We left immediately after. Still seemed like a decent place overall, other than the woman that clearly doesn't like her job.

I normally have a very pleasant experience here but this time we came for cosmic bowling and literally the ENTIRE time we listened to Screamo and rock. I knew (I'm not even joking one bit) THREE songs the entire 2 1/2 hours we were there. Not very fun when it's all screaming and scary dead guys on the screen. Not very enjoyable. The staff was excellent but the music was absolutely terrible and for me that's half the experience in going. There was even a song playing where a mand shirt very visibly said "suck my F***" but the actual word. I dont normally complain but my 15 year old sister and her friend were NOT having fun at all. The only reason we did not leave was because my sister doesn't get to go out very much and she requested we stay.

We attended a birthday party here. The lanes were well kept and staff was super friendly however for the price of the party I believe we should have gotten more beverages and pizza. Other than that it was great good atmosphere and the kiddos had a great time.

It wasn't very clean. And our lane kept wasn't working and they would fix it and then it want working again so we were wasting our time and money as we paid by the hour and didn't receive any discounts or apologies. I wouldnt recommend this place but there isn't much to do in Richmond to begin with.

The remodeled interior is really an upgrade, the place looks great. The arcade is better than ever, now including ticket dispensing for prizes. The food is on point (considering it's bowling alley food). We will happily return whenever we get the itch to bowl.

They've recently remodeled, and its even more fun now! They have a decent kitchen and bar, and its a great place to spend some time with friends or family. They have an arcade also.

Didn't know that leagues could only bowl on Thursday evenings, so we couldn't bowl when we went. Pro tip: No open bowling on Mondays and Thursdays after 3:30 pm. :)

Very nice place. I love all the updates on the place. Kind of cramped around the concession area but it was very packed in there with the high school bowling teams from Mid Indiana Bowling Conference all in there with their families. The lanes are very nice and so is the pit area!

Remodel looks good, not a big fan of the tables right behind the lanes... More of a skating rink type atmosphere. Not very league friendly. The lanes themselves needed the upgrade more. Lucky to bowl 3 frames without having to reset or call for help which is frustrating. Seems they are catering only to parties and kids now. Food is good and fairly priced, beer is ridiculously overpriced. Overall, great for family fun kid friendly and teenage friendly. Just not for leagues or adults anymore in my opinion.

It's a really nice place, besides a couple of things. 1) the shoes never fit and they don't have laced ones to actually tighten them so they just slip off while walking. 2) on some nights as early as 5pm they have these strobe lights and glow lights come on that are very dangerous for epileptics, which I am. I accidentally went on a "family night" day and halfway through bowling I had to leave because suddenly everywhere I turned there were strobe lights in my face. When we asked about turning the strobe lights off they said no. So if your child has Epilepsy, bowling might not be the best choice for family night.

I went in to hang out with friends for the rock and bowl. I didn't want to bowl because I only had sort amount of time to hang with friends. The clerk at the desk told me I had to pay $5 dollars if I wasn't bowling. Told him it was a scam to charge anything and left.
