I love that they added Lazer Tag here, my kids have a absolute blast between bowling, the arcade, and Lazer Tag. Only downside is my Kids can't get enough lol so it gets expensive, but very good place to go with kids. I enjoy it a lot myself

We have so much fun at Woodman Lanes! The employees are always so friendly and go to extra lengths to make my kids feel special. We order from the diner every time we go, and always love our food. It's a perfect place to go on hot days, on rainy days, or just any time we want a fun time with the family!

One of the nicer alleys in the area. Have a great summer special - $39 to bowl two games a day through August. Well kept lanes and computer software. Have a nice/bar longue area as well.

Came today for kids bowl free and used our coupons. First off the lane was scoring our game wrong and it seemed to have trouble returning our balls. We waited for long periods of time for our balls to be returned. Notified the front desk which moved us over to the lane right next to it, which also shared same ball return. Continued to have same issue seeing as it was same ball return. Notified front desk again only to be told it will probably continue to happen. Other lanes seemed to have no issue and the front desk didnt seem to care. Very frustrating. Took forever to bowl and couldnt really enjoy it. Only good thing was the food.

This bowling alley is really great! Big, clean, and it feels up-to-date compared to many others I've been in. If you're looking for family fun, besides the bowling (with some of the pins being fun neon colors) they also have a small arcade (8 to 10 games) laser tag (which we didn't have time for but looks cool) and a laser maze! The employees were nice and I was also impressed that they were holding a huge fund raiser for Big Brothers/Big Sisters that day.

Great lanes...hesitant on the 5 stars as this particular location offers no deals to talk about for the High School Bowlers but its counterpart location on Wilmington does as does Capri Lanes also offers amazing deals. 5 stars given as the staff are amazing and staff member Bruce has a heart of Gold when it comes to helping the youth achieve greatness. He is a 5 star man all day every day and twice on Sundays!! Very loveable human being and they are lucky to have him on board. Place wouldn't be the same without him.

What an awesome place to take your family! They have wonderful food and the prices aren't bad either. Do call ahead as leagues fill many nights of the week and lanes are limited. There is an arcade as well as a laser tag for the children as an added thing to do or if bowling isn't their thing, there's plenty for them to have fun with. Dana at the front desk is always very friendly and cooperative and goes out of his way to make sure you have a good experience! Bruce as well! Jess in the bar is very friendly and helpful!! This is definitely a very family-friendly place to enjoy!

Went on a Saturday evening. Arrived at about 5:45. Two adults and two kids (15 and 8). It was 55 bucks for the lane for an hour and a half, the shoes, a large pizza and a pitcher of pop (after 6 PM I think the price goes up by like 6 bucks). Guys at the counter were really friendly. The guys at the concession stand were really friendly. The girl behind the bar was really friendly. Oh yeah, tall Bud light was $4.50. Might have been more cost effective to just get a pitcher honestly. But still reasonable. And the lane attendants (the guys who come by and clear trash away for you and clear the lane if a pin pops out too far) were quick and friendly too. At the time we went, I would say it was about 50% families with young kids, and about 50% younger people on dates. Towards the time we left, it did seem to be filling in with more groups of just older adults. And it was really busy when we went, but they kept things moving more than reasonably quickly. All in all it was a fun night out with the family. And the cost seemed really reasonable, especially when you compare it to several of the other bowling alleys in the Dayton area. We'll probably go again.

I came in to make a reservation for a birthday party for my 10 year old son. The two gentlemen at the counter were extremely helpful and courteous. They answered all my questions. They also provided me with information for me to take home to help me decide what package to choose. Needless to say, I put a deposit down to reserve the party. The service was excellent!

I called this place two weeks prior to my sons birthday party and spoke with a young lady regarding a party package.. she explained their deals and i booked three lanes that included pizza and soda .. she took my name and the time i wanted my family and friends to come .. at the time she seemed very helpful. The day of the party the manager or owner or whoever the guy with the white hair and glasses that was running the place was very nasty to my guest that showed up earlier than i did .. once i got there to confirm we had a party the guy told me “ILL SEE WHAT I CAN DO” which was very confusing because all he had to do is look up our name.. i gave him my first and last name and he came back and said “nope i don’t have any party for you maybe go to Wilmington location people do that all the time” (the person i talked to obviously screwed up and didn’t put our reservation in) and he walked away .. i asked if we could still bowl because all of our guest were headed to that location and he said that all he can do is give us maybe two lanes and they were gonna separate us. The whole time he didn’t seem concerned or even helpful.. we called the Wilmington location while standing at the counter and they got us right in with cheaper deals, better set up and better service. I’ll never give this place my money.. i couldn’t believe he would just allow us to book at another venue when the problem was their fault.. bad deal , bad customer service, and bad for business..

Poelking Woodman Lanes is a fun and friendly place with an excellent, knowledgeable staff! My friends and I formed a league there on Friday nights and I have only received positive reviews from league members. Woodman Lanes is very accommodating and with their Cosmic Bowling and awesome new game room, it's a great place for a fun and affordable night out for kids and adults!

Great bowling alley, I paid 10 bucks a person for 2 hrs and shoes. Lanes and balls in good condition. Beers pretty cheap, they have jello shots! The food is meh. There's an arcade but it only takes card, not coin. And there's laser tag. I've been meaning to play but my friends and I always get there after it closes. Staff are friendly. Would recommend.

Clean place but now that the food is weighed you get very small portions and there aren't ever any beer specials ($18 for a bucket of 6 is over priced). Edit: I'm aware your buckets are 5 beers. 5 beers for $15 Is still the same price per beer as 6 beers for $18. I always bought six because I bowled with 2 friends. Regarding the portions, when I bowled the summer league in 2016 we got considerably more food than when we bowled the summer league in 2017. Would have been nice to incentivize more people to join the league by offering specials on beer, food, etc.

Before buying the gift card special, I specifically asked the gentleman before hand what time cosmic bowling started and if we could still buy the family deal during that time which he told me yes so I purchased it. Got here at 930 pm a Friday night to then be told we couldn't do that. So instantly went from $50 to $75. Not to mention the guy at the front was not kind about this situation. Another thing, the alleys were so oiled up they left a grease residue on our clothes just from touching the balls. It was almost dripping from the balls. We sat here for an hour with us and 5 lanes in the entire place being used all cramped into the corner. We used lane 40. Lanes 36,37,38,39 and our 40 were the only ones being used. Why not spread people out? This place is not a good place to go on a weekend night. Also would like to point out, the family deal special says after 6pm on Friday or Saturday- add $6. Was told tonight that meant up until 9pm. Maybe that should be written in the deal fine print.

The machine to bring the balls back kept screwing up and not bringing ball back, we told the desk person and we changed lanes same thing kept happening so we told him again he said “well that’s a problem that’s just gonna keep happening” and laughed... but the problem is it was only happening on those two lanes everyone else was getting their balls back fine... food was great though only plus side to this place.

Clean and well presented. The staff is friendly and quickly accommodate to any issues or requests. The laser tag is superb, the best I’ve been a part of. It has a decent arcade and a laser maze as well. The ticket amounts for the gifts are very well done. The only thing lacking is the bar does not have a dart board. Not a big thing but a bummer for me personally.

We were there about 2 hours. A little pricey, but I haven’t been bowling since I was young, so I’m sure there’s a reason prices have gone up.

I came on a day when this place was packed. However even though it was busy, I was able to come in the door, pay and get setup in my lane. They offer a nice bar secluded from the bowling lanes, and they serve good food and play awesome music. Staff seemed nice

I so want to give this place a better rating, so here's why 4-stars. Full disclosure: I am an occasional "lets go bowling" bowler --- meaning around 3-4 times a year so I am not their bread and butter. The whole building is very nicely maintained, good parking lot. The bowling is good and the food and drinks are surprisingly good. We often get a package deal --- shoes, lane, a pizza and drinks -- and we feel it's a good value. One of the better locations to bowl in town that I've tried. While the lanes are maintained well and the location is clean and open, we have had some problems with ball-returns and pin resets, etc. Standard stuff, but when you are bowling on a timer (1.5 or 2 hour block) and you spend 15 minutes of that time waiting for these things to be fixed, it's not ok because their problems are my money. Also, the staff could provide better communication. The last 2 times I've gone there have been issues, and each time I called day of bowling. The first time they said they were open that day but failed to tell me that there was a league bowling which took up nearly if not all their lanes... so we didn't get to bowl. The last time, again I called 1 hour before arriving, and was told there was open bowling that night. What they didn't say was they were having an event for a soccer league that would take up 30 of their 40 lanes and that it would switch to cosmic bowling (fun but not normal bowling conditions) while we were there. This should be relayed to people as we got the last lane when we got there.

We had a birthday party here and they some of the nicest staff we have encountered. They continued to check on us and even took the time to talk to my 4 year old at the desk when she had a question while a huge tournament was going on. The outside may look a bit down on the outside but the inside has a new arcade and a huge laser tag area that is two storys. If you are looking for a great place to have a birthday party or just a night out with your loved ones, go here its worth the money.

if i could give zero stars i would. the guy rang us up wrong and so we didn't play a full second game somehow, and then he got mad when we pointed out his mistake. he rang us up for two games for two people even though there were three of us and he rented us three pairs of shoes. so when we played with three people the game ended four frames into the second game. also, he charged us 32 dollars for two games for two people and three pairs of shoes, which not only makes no sense but is also a terrible value. also all the arcade games are bad and not worth anyone's time.

My favorite part of my experience here was when I walked by the desk and overheard an older man with white hair and glasses (Dana, I think someone called him?) talking about a woman with “big boobs” and how she looked. That’s really awful to hear in a “family friendly” place. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be taking my kids here again:(

Nice bowling alley that had a good variety of food choices. We did not eat there this time but will definitely try the food next time as the menu looked good. We opted for a savings package that included bowling, shoes, and a pitcher of soda. Less than $10 a person which is a great deal. It was clean and the staff was friendly, not much more you could ask for.
