The new look Parkway Lanes is a great place for novice bowling just for the fun of it as well league bowling. They have something for everyone. Lots of lanes, a bar and good food. Parkway Lanes also has one of the most professionally run pro shop run by newly inducted PBA Hall of Famer, Patrick Allen. You'll love hanging out there.

Looked like AMF Qubica which is very up to date. 18 lanes on one side 18 more in the other with a Bar, pool tables, arcade, control desk all in the middle. A kitchen with the tables spread threw out the center. Even though it was a big throw back I actually liked it. I liked the lay out.. 4 stars

I know it looks a little outdated outside but this place is state of the art. Staff, food, lane tech are all first rate. Pro shop owned and operated by PBA HOF Patrick Allen. He is hands on and very helpful getting you the right equipment for your skill level with no pressure selling at all. Great guy as is the entire Parkway staff. (also google the Harrison Ford movie scene filmed here when you get a chance). Great place for all ages and skill levels.

Lanes not counting pins correctly, staff that could care less when we needed help. Waited at the front counter to exchange shoes for 3 kids in our party and ended up losing almost 10 mins of our bowling time because the guy behind the counter walked away after slamming his hands Dow on the counter. If you’re looking for a fun place to bowl, look elsewhere.

Nope never again!!!!!! I came with my friends to have a great time bowling, however we ended up not bowling at all. We didn't get the chance to bowl because the young man who was working the front desk thought FaceTiming on his phone was more important than providing my group with costumer service. I thought that was extremely rude because we waited about 15min before I had to ask him if he was ever was gonna help us, but that wasn't even the rudest part. The rudest part was when I asked him if he was gonna help us he responded by putting his finger in front of his face signaling that we needed to wait or to be quiet. At the point it was time for me and my crew to leave and go to another bowling alley.

The last time I had been here, they handed me a pencil and score sheets upon entry. Needless to say, they've renovated quite a bit. The lanes were a bit oily for my tastes, but in very good condition. Woman at the bar was nice, and drinks were cheap. The bathrooms were absolutely horrible.

The customer service here is just absolutely amazing! We brought the kids on a rainy Saturday night and had never been there before. The woman who helped us was so friendly and helpful, she was so patient with our kids who have never been bowling before. This bowling alley is very clean and feels like a safe place to come with the family. The prices were affordable and we love that it didn’t have that chaotic bells & whistles stuff that is so overwhelming at other places. Our kids had such a blast that they want to go again all the time now. We will be back!

Best bowling alley in the Allentown/Whitehall area by far. I’ve been to others around here but this place is easily the cleanest, and nicest looking. Huge parking lot and in a secluded area in town, which is really nice compared to the other alleys in the area.

This is the most gorgeous bowling alley in the area. It’s been very nicely remodeled, very high tech monitors and lanes. The couches make it feel like a high class lounge. The arcade is awesome my little cousins absolutely loved it. The pricing is great as well. The major downfall of this place and the reason it gets a 1 Star is because this place is not handicap accessible. You can get a wheelchair into the building but if you have an immobile person/child then you won’t get them onto the lane. This is a huge disappointment as they claim to host a handicap league tournament? I would really like to see the new mangement make a change and add a ramp to let wheelchair bound children and adults can enjoy some bowling. This is very important because very few bowling alleys around accommodate for wheelchair bound patrons.

One of the worst bowling lanes around! One of the staff at the front desk (the older one) has been so rude to us (younger lady was helpful though). Her attitude was not professional at all. She replied even simple questions with attitude. The lanes were not maintained. In the middle of the game machine broke and we had to change a lane until they figured out that they cannot fix it. They made us wait while they’re trying the fix the lane and didn’t offer a new lane immediately. The price is ok but place didn’t seem well maintained.

Today was my first time there and let me tell you, it was horrible!! The service is terrible. The employees are rude and the alleyway that we were playing kept breaking down so we had to wait 10-15 minutes for them to fix it and sometimes we would have to go back and remind them to fix it . The service was terrible. It's a place to have fun not get rudeness back or horrible service. We went to have fun and yet they are unprofessional and don't know how to do their job.

Do not get the $15 Extreme Bowling Package! It's the same of the other 2 hour deal but you get soda and hotdog. I was expecting a good size soda at least, wrong! The soda is like a child size, 3 sips and it was done and the hotdog is eh, gas station normal. So your paying $7 more for a small soda and a hotdog. Yeah, what kinda deal is that? Anyways, I was glad to see this place open back up buy don't be fooled that it's been "remodeled" and all that. The lane computers really need to be updated bad, some better balls wouldn't hurt and the shoes.....really bad shape. If I were you I would honestly buy a pair if you really like to bowl a lot. I guess running a bowling alley is a tough market though now a days though to be fair. There should be some better deals out there especially for like Sundays. $2.00 games or something would be cool. Their trying but I think if they invest more into this place it would be pay off eventually.

I had a bday party there and the host was pointless. Hope she didnt expect a tip. Shs literally sat with her head in her phone the whole time. I served the food, i prepared the cake and tables, i did everything. She was annoyed when i asked her to get a lighter or match to light the candles. I could of had a party at home for all that. When we were done i guess she thought I was going to clean up too because she still remained seated in her phone.

This bowling alley is very nice and affordable. The workers are friendly and the place is really clean. It is one of the cheapest bowling lanes in the Lehigh Valley area, even on the weekend. They have 2 hr specials for about $10-$12 per person depending on when you go. Sundays are the chepaest. The food was good too. I went for the first time today and unfortunately they are closing for the summer to make updates to the place. They will be open again on Labor Day.

Although I moved away I often come back to Parkway Lanes. It was a decent place before but now it has become modernized, keeping up with the likes of AMF lanes. With 36 lanes split between two sides it makes for a interesting atmosphere. The service from since you walk into the door is excellent as it has always been. The food services might need a touch of updating but I won't count it against them as I come to bowl and not get a 5-star meal. The prices are decent even for a Saturday night. I did not get to see if they have blacklight bowling but that would be an excellent addition to the lanes. Overall my family and I had a great night. I will suggest to all my friends that are still here in the city to go.

Used to love going bowling here. In the past week I've made 2 attempts to visit again to have a good time but both times I was turned down because 1. All the lanes were rented for a league 2nd time : there was a private event and all the lanes were rented. Took my business somewhere else . I used to highly recommend parkway lanes to everyone since I love bowling. Now I just tell everyone to not waste their time and go to Clifton place that might be 2$ more expensive, but 1. No waiting whatsoever 2. Professional staff 3. 2 minutes away from this place 4. No leagues to Hog all the lanes

The controller was too old, and took few minutes to figure out how to use it. Other thing were similar to any other bowling, it is also close to downtown of allentown. There is small cafe teria also, but does not provide a lot of different foods.

False Advertisement. I was on their website looking into booking my sons birthday party. The site claims party packages start at $15 per person. I knew with the amount of children we're inviting it was out of our price range. So I tried contacting them to see if we could come to an agreement on pricing. When I called they informed me their lowest package starts as $17.50 per person. I told the lady that answered the phone their website claims that packages begin at $15. I offered to send a screen shot with this information. She refused to give me their info and tried to convince me I was on the wrong website. Pitty.. I've enjoyed many bowling nights there with my family. Which is why I inquired to begin with. That definitely needs to be adjusted.

Bowled here and was bowling great until they turned off the lights. I politely asked to move to the lanes with light to see the path of my ball and they denied me. I had just bowled a 700 series before they turned off the lights. I was perfect through 9 and then they turned the lights off in my 4th game. It really threw me off and I guttered the first ball of the tenth. I don’t care about the game but I wish I could bowl at a place that will help bowlers become better and allow bowlers that actually want to focus on becoming better to help them. The faculty is just not helpful at all. Wish I could put negative stars.

Great bowling alley, recently got new state of the art bowling equipment and machines. The pro shop owner knows what he's doing, and there's great food and a bar here.

Ideal bowling place, has a Big Lebowski feel to it! Classic decor but spacious so you don't feel on top of people in the lane next to you. Limited beer and wine/wine cooler options, but the choices are always good. I try to go at least once a month. Great hangout spot overall.

Not too loud. Good deals available ($2/game + $2 for shoes), and the computer adjusts the scoring (handicap, etc.) for each bowler - even when bowling in the same lane. I took three of my kids there, but only one if them wanted to use bumpers (to prevent gutter balls). When it was her turn, the bumpers came up, and when it wasn't, they went down! It does get busy, so call ahead to make sure a lane will be available when you want to go.

A great spot for family and friends to spend a number of hours bowling for the fun of it. Or to watch bowling teams compete against the other. The atmosphere is fantastic, the food is good, the staff is respectful an on point with making sure you have a memorable time. There is also a high-tech arcade that will eat your time there up. Parkway is an excellent bowling alley if you're there for bowling. Not much going on there outside of that. In September 2019 they installed new lanes, returns, approaches, and seating. An even better value now. Bar is reasonably priced and their food isn't bad either.

Hello. I would first of like to say before today, this was an easy 5 stars. Great place and very neat looking. A nice pro shop with a nice person working there. Very professional. Love the modern tv's and the whole look in general. But today, I had a terrible experience. Me and a few friends go in for the 2$ Tuesday. All is fine, but we are squished next to someone. First off, the people we were next to had 5 people in a lane but the lady would not let them go into 2 lanes even though the next league was in an hour and we both only had like 2 games left. Secondly, they charged us the fair 2$ price. But I later found out they got charged 2.50$. They apparently also paid for 4 games, but the lady cut them off at 3 games for some reason. Anyways, we ask the lady to move us over the lane, she says no. We respectfully talk about it at our lanes about what just happened and saying why we cant change and were a little frustrated, but its all fine. I go to the bathroom. When I come back, the lady says which one of you had a problem with me, in a very snobbish, creepy way. How did she even hear what we said? I told them a friend said it and my friend went to talk to her. She started questioning him. After that, for a whole 15-20 minutes she looked at us and listened to what we were saying. At one point, the little tablet things right next to the ball racks where your ball is returned after you through it says surveillance or something that lets someone hear what we are saying.. ONLY are lane. She is still giving us nasty looks. She keeps telling us, you good? in a sarcastic way. Very unpleasant day. My friend was even intimidated by her

My family and I had a really good time celebrating my daughter's 4th birthday. But the downside was they were VERY short staffed. I waited over an 1 hour for a pepperoni pizza. My mother in law asked for her money back when she never received her 2 cheeseburgers. Poor servers were at the register taking orders as well as taking them to the lanes. They definitely need to hire more people. Hopefully the next time we go this does not happen again.

Had a great time, I only gave it four stars because there was only one person running the snack bar and she was also doing the shoe rentals and what not.. so it took FOREVER to get food (over 20 mins for chicken and mozzarella sticks). Plus when I got my chicken it tasted like it wasn't quite done fully. But the bowling was free when I went so I am pretty happy with my experience.

Still needs some work and updates need to be completed, but it gets the job done. I've always enjoyed the leagues and people that bowl here, it's a pretty close community. They offer more competitive leagues also like sport shots that alot of other alleys in the area don't. Patrick Allen also runs the pro shop now so you know you have someone extremely knowledgeable if you need advice.

The place got a renovation and seems like they are under new ownership. It looks very nice considering their new system for the consoles as well as the screens. At night they usually turn off the lights and turn on the party lights.

Place is clean and lively and expect some noise. They have updated score controllers, which can be customized for each player. Balls quality is good and lower weight balls are scarce, when the place is full.

It was my FIRST time there, the service was terrible my Lane kept breaking down and I had to wait 15-30 minutes for them to fix it each time. The manager seemed like she could care less judging from the fact that she threatened to get her "Puerto Rican husband" on us. She threatened to do so because we refused to pay for an extra 60$ on top of the 70$ we already had paid. She accused us of basically rebooting the stystem so we could play longer which was hilarious because I didn't even know that was possible

MELISSA who I've known for a long time was great, Nichole who was our party hostess was funny and polite, made sure everything was going good, good was brought out at time we requested it, my son bowls in the PAL LEAGUE on Saturday's from September to March so you get to interact with the staff and make new friends, SO IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A GREAT TIME GO TO PARKWAY LANES AND HAVE BLAST YOU'LL NEVER FORGET IT, THANKS ABE FOR KEEPING IT OPEN, IT'S A HOME AWAY FROM HOME!!!!!!
