the owner gave us a deal, but when we put 20 bucks in the juke box to play music they turn it down, but when they're music came on, it was turned up.. If u dont like certain music don't have it available to play. We kindly ask for our money back ,for we felt being short changed for what we paid for.. We ask for the Owner, and was told he was to busy bowling to deal with it. And he revoke our free drinks he promised us.. Poor customer service and will never return..

BEST BOWLING ALLEY EVER!!!!! Fun place to bowl, they keep on maintenance on the lanes, staff are great. They are very respectful. Food is good too. Best pro shop, Dean is the man to go too for your bowling needs, very reasonable prices on games, got pool room and a few arcade games

You can bowl here for cheap. Lanes aren't that great. Several times the pins would already be down. Staff wasn't overly friendly or remotely helpful when we complained about the pins.

Used to enjoy going there but since the manager has developed his "my way or the hiway"attitude it's not very pleasant. I mean who closes a bar on new years eve because "inclimate" weather is coming that didn't come til5 am. He has changed closing time several times. No wonder business is dropping, no one wants to go where you never know if they are sticking to posted hours.way to build a business, chuck!

Our kids love bowling so we are always looking for places to take them. This place usually has pretty good deals going on. Food price are reasonable and taste good. The only complaint is there is not a lot of bowling ball choices. Its hard to find a ball that is a good weight or that fits your fingers. Staff is very helpful and good with children. So all in all its a great place to go and have some family fun.

Just went today with my two girls, ages 9 and 11. This is an awesome place with a real family vibe going on, but also had lots of younger people on dates (high school, college, etc.). Extremely friendly staff. They also have a pool room with four tables, and I have to agree that their pub food is super seriously good. Couldn't recommend this place enough, drove 30 minutes to check it out, will definitely be returning quite a bit!

It isn't a top of the mill place in terms of the latest and greatest this and that, some lanes are a bit more trouble than others, however, the place is run by some wonderful people. I've been so delighted to see their willingness to forgive lane troubles, to be welcoming and to make it a joy to be there. They've shown to me numerous times a commitment to make it a pleasant experience that you'll want to return to. I will continue to come back and enjoy my time there. Thank you

The bowling the food and the drinks are absolutely wonderful. Would be 5 stars if two things were fixed. One being as most places should be it's not vape friendly. No one likes having to go outside in the wintertime for a smoke. Two being new pool sticks. Invest. Invest A LOT.

I brought a family of 9 kids with me on a Saturday night. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and arranged for two lanes side-by-side which was nothing short of a small miracle as they were packed with patrons. A great time was had by all--thank you Hi-Way!

Great time bowling with friends and little ones! We had a very good experience here on a busy Friday night. The staff was very friendly and helpful with working out the best deal for our family and friends to save money with the coupons I brought. Service all around was quick, friendly, and helpful. The place was very clean and the equipment newly updated. Bowling has come a long way since the paper and pencil score card days, haha. It was still easy to add players, you can now add bumpers for specific players and they go up and down automatically, you can select the type of game you want to play, the type of characters on screen as well as easily correct scoring/bowling mistakes. Overall, we had a great time and we will return to play again. There were just 2 reasons I didn't give 5 stars. First, the music was too loud for us, especially our little ones. However, I would assume this was due to it being Friday night and we will definitely try a different time of day when returning with the kids. Second, it was also a bit pricey for our family; it would have been over $40 for our family of 4 without a coupon. Unfortunately, that's not something we can afford very often. We'll keep a lookout for coupons and deals and definitely come back since we did have such a great time. It was a fun family activity and we made some good memories.

Not what it was a few years ago. More like a bar than a bowling alley. Visits are fun but sometimes certain teams in some leagues are more competitive, arrogant, and disrespectful to newer bowling teams. It I were the management, I would at least enforce the ordinance about smokers needing to smoke at least 10 feet from the entrances and exits. I would also figure out a maximum and minimum volume for the jukebox. I bowled there for years and feel that the alley should just as clean and well-lit during nightly leagues than during the days and on weekends. It's not too late to optimize the Hi-Way lanes experience to what it was just a few years ago. In its own way this could help the local Franklin economy to continue it's burgeoning growth and improvements.

This place is awesome! We happened to show up right after a power outage and the lanes were not up yet, the owner was super apologetic and gave us vouchers for 3 free games each! We went to lunch and called back to see if they were up and running yet and they were. We went back and we weren't charged for the shoes and got an extra game for free! The owner and the staff are super friendly and went above and beyond expectations! Our family will definitely be going back!

We had our son's birthday party at Hi-Way Lanes this year. It was a very good value and the kids had a great time. I was even able to bring in homemade cake and ice cream to go along with the provided pizza and pop. The staff was very patient with our group of kids--including dealing with several shoe size exchanges and a ball that got stuck partway down the lane. They often have specials and participate in the Kids Bowl Free program every summer.

Very clean. Very nice bowling alley. Nice pro shop. Food is excellent especially when compared to royal pin centers. Not a corporation just a small town bowling alley. Only complaint is the jukebox is ridiculously loud sometimes and seems to only play nor family friendly horrible rap music or God awful country. If they'd just turn it down to where your ears didn't bleed it would be much better. Makes for a big distraction during league play but all in all a good place.

We had a work party at this bowling alley on a Sunday after work. We had approximately 15 people and had a terrible experience. They shut off one of our lanes halfway through our second game claiming we had too many people playing on one lane (there were 7 people). We had already played a full game and were halfway through the game when they shut it off without warning. They refused to restart the game for us even though we had made reservations and they were previously aware of how many people we had bowling. They also yelled at us over the overcom about having drinks in the sitting area, but they had no signs posted about where drinks were allowed. We were not obnoxious or overly loud and they treated us as we were the loudest and rudest customers they had seen. Eden was the worker, and she glared at us the entire time we were bowling. I will never use this alley again and I'm very disappointed with how we were treated. Do not go here unless you want to have a bad experience.

If you love to bowl, you'll love bowling at Hi-Way lanes. The food is great. The drinks are great, but the Chicken Fajita Nachos is the bomb. Oh yeah, the bowling is fantastic. The lanes are well oiled. They have computerized lanes with large sized video screens to see your scores and watch a sports game while you bowl. The pro shop will help you with whatever you need. A1

Awesome bowling alley! Updated lanes and screens. Best feature is bumper guards go up and down individually with the bowler if needed. You can also play different types of games that are kid related. It’s also an inexpensive 1 or 2 hours of fun. Will be back to this bowling alley out of all the area ones :)

So nice fairly newly renovated bowling alley. It's pretty loud and the food wasn't great. We used a Groupon but if we hadn't I've got to say that this place is extremely expensive because it cost my friend almost $40 for two people to bowl 3 games. The place is nice so I can't say anything but positive things about the lanes and the people but just make sure that you get a deal before you go otherwise you may want to go somewhere else because of the price

I rarely give poor reviews anywhere, but have had 3 poor experiences at hi way lanes in the last month. We will not be returning. 1- we were told completely wrong information about cosmic bowling. 2- were treated very rudely on another visit when someone needed to switch shoe sizes. 3- once again told completely wrong info. Was told that Sundays are open bowling and no reservations required- and checked online to confirm. Went to bowl (had family meeting there from quite a distance away)...just to be turned away because of an event later in the day. Tons of open lanes available. Went back by 1.5 hours later- still not busy. Extremely disappointed and will not return. This use to be our favorite alley to go to..sad how much it has changed.
