We had gotten together about 30 kids with parents to bowl. They were understaffed and seemed to be aggravated that we were there. They lady that was working the bar and other thi gas in the building seemed that we were a big hassle for her. Everytime she walked by she was shaking her head and talking under her breath about the crowd. It's the last bowling alley in this town,knowing that you would think they would want to accommodate locals. This is how small places like this go out of business. They need to take a step back and know it's a hospitality business. If you don't like people or crowds, you're I. The wrong line of business.

Great place and happy environment. The proshop owner Will Clark is amazing and incredibly passionate about his customers. He's a legend in the making as a top rated youth bowler coach and master ball driller. He listens to the kids and goes beyond just coaching on the lanes, he is sincerely active and supportive of the kids outside of the bowling alleys as well. Keep up the awesome job

River Rand Bowl is a very interesting and fun bowling alley in Des Plaines. I went there in the middle of the day last time, and there were hardly any people in there. The staff were extremely nice, and luckily I was able to use an online coupon for a free game. This place is great to bowl with your friends and family. The bowling balls are a little unclean, like most boeling places, but otherwise, it is always bundles of fun to bowl at the River Rand Bowl.

Too bad these places are becoming fewer in the passing years. I was here at River Rand Bowl for a kids birthday party and the staff could not have been more friendly and attentive. The kids all enjoyed themselves and the soda, chicken wings, fries and pizza hit the spot. The bowling was a lot of fun and it made me want to join a league. I will be back to this place again.

Have not bowled in years, this place was great. The staff were very friendly and the price was a good value. There were families bowling, smalls groups of guys and single players practing on a Sunday afternoon. Mondays are only a buck fifty a game! I am definitely going back.

The best experience I've ever had at a bowling alley! They were so accommodating-our pool party got rained out but River Rand came through for us at the very last minute. You know, the ribs are actually very good! I didn't bowl there, I was there for a Cornhole league, but the bar is great - cheap beers, decent food, flirty service. Everything you want in a dive bowling alley. Fun place.

A fantastic bowling alley with no unnecessary frills. The staff is bar none. Personable, friendly and helpful (shout out to Gary!) You won't be disappointed. Beware of league night (Thurs.) But come after 8 and enjoy low priced unlimited bowling! Food fare is of the bar variety and is surprisingly good. Beer is always flowing with sub $20 buckets. Definitely worth.

Monday's are the best time to hangout with friends and bowl a few games. Games are 1.50 a piece and shoes are 3.00 each. The staff are very friendly nd outgoing. The food is good. I would recommend the pizza.

It's my regular spot every other week, Tuesdays. I'm on a league there. Lanes are kept up well. Conditions are very good. There's a bar and a pro shop also. The pro shop is always open, not like the ones at other allies where they are not there when u need them. Good experience. Highly recommend place.
