Attended a private party in the downstairs section of the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this as a venue for a party, shower, reunion or company outing. Punch Bowl offers several different food and beverage options to meet whatever your needs may be.

This place was awesome. I am glad I decided to have my 21st here. The wings were so good and so was everything else on the menu. It was a very unique menu but I enjoyed the different options. The drinks were amazing, adult shakes was just the right amount of alcohol and sweetness. I love the atmosphere of the place and there's so much to do. We were almost not able to bowl because my nephew was too young but the manager understood our circumstances and let us for the last 45 mins. Service is just incredible and I appreciate the person working the shoe rental , he was so fun and attentive! he even showed us magic tricks. I will never forget this birthday, going in the books thanks to PBS

Oh my God I had the best time at this punch bowl Schaumburg Social Club. It was so much fun games upper Galore from the top to the bottom. I'm not really a bread eater but their bread is delicious. The staff is great everyone is so helpful and happy. if you just want to do a girls day out on a couple stay out I will suggest the group of you go to this place there's regular card games there's bowling there's all kinds of game Pac-Man pool you name a game it's there from board games and on period a great place that you can enjoy with family friends holidays birthdays celebrations anniversaries just to kick it.

Was a Sunday so it wasn't busy at all. Our server consistently checked to make sure we didn't need anything during dinner. The food was amazing. Added chicken to my mac & cheese. They use a nice juicy rotisserie chicken. The rosemary seasoned fries were delicious. The nachos were also, but could use more cheese. The water taste like tap water, could use ice in the glass bottles. The male bartender on the 1st floor was operating rather slowly for it to be as empty as it was. And was nonchalant until he got back to his buddies I assume that were drinking on the other end of the bar. Towards closing, the bartender upstairs did not inform us of "last call for alcohol". We were all disappointed because we wanted shots before we left for closing. Oh....and for some reason the floors on the second floor and upstairs were sticky. I would give this place another shot. Had many group activities to indulge in.

Did not know this place existed up until few weeks ago. Great atmosphere with good games and a nice menu. Friendly and accommodating staff! Only downside was the wait for food, as we came on a Sunday evening with few others there and waited over an hour and a half to get food. We had a party of 9, so no small feat, but I've been places that got parties of 10+ out in an hour. Regardless, I will be back for drinks and games!

We had our first experience at this establishment on a Saturday afternoon and I must say that I will recommend it to family and friends. The food was great and the options of entertainment were larger than my imagination . The menu choices are quite elaborate but I would like to thank Adam our server for being a class act the whole time we were there and helping us with our choices and providing awesome customer service overall. If you go ask for Adam. Didnt have the pleasure to speak to any of the other staff but they seemed to be on top of their game too. Overall great time.

This restaurant/entertainment venue was actually really cool. Along with outstanding bars in each of the 3 floors of activities, the eclectic choice of games makes this place a standout. Just to name a few, you can play ping pong, bowling, giant scrabble, giant jenga, table shuffle board, foosball, darts and numerous classic video games and pinball. My only deal criticism of the place is the drinks were a bit short for the price. They were more along the line of mixology drinks. They were good, just short. Other than that, this is a daters paradise and a great venue for a party.

What a great time. Brought my kids there for spring break and we had such an awesome time. We didn't realize we were there for 5 hours. And I have teens. They weren't asking to leave. My husband and I were impressed with the staff. From the bartenders to the games people. All so helpful and friendly! Not at all a kiddie place. Great for team building.

Awesome food & ambiance! Everyone was super friendly. Just be prepared to pay for almost EVERY game there starting at $10 /hr. Darts? $10 Ping pong? $10 Karaoke was $25/ hr. which is kinda pricey too. Plus the games that were free were closed off because of a private party, like the only bags game there, which was a bummer. It is nice to have such a variety of games, but after a while it adds up. I understand charging for bowling & arcade games but darts & ping pong should be included if you eat / drink there. Though it may have more to do with crowd control. Also, on the weekend Jenga was always taken by a group. There were many board games to choose from so at least that was always available. Either way, it's a cool place. Maybe one day they can afford to make some more of these games free but their overhead must be pricey too.

My husband and I went to Punch Bowl Social with another couple to celebrate a birthday. The drinks we enjoyed along with the biscuits and jam - which is a nice original touch - and the atmosphere was nice and pleasant but thats about the end of our experience. We did not like the food, the server was not very attentive, and when we finally ate and decided to go upstairs, we were unimpressed with the "game area". The bowling looked fun but with only a few lanes, the wait was long. There isnt enough to do there on a busier evening so we awkwardly stood around until we left. All in all, i would not go back. It was very expensive, and underwhelming.

Food is mediocre. Had the French Dip with chips. Chips were gross. Sandwich was decent. If going on the weekend don’t count on being able to play most of the games as they are all located in the private party area. With that being the case they should not advertise those as options instead advertise them as being included in the room rentals. Very disappointed and will not be back.

One of the more creative bar scenes I've seen. Multiple levels, bars and activities. They have vintage arcades namely NBA Jam. Also, bowling, bags, ping pong, bacci and more.

I ate here several times and the food was very well prepared each time. The menu has a great selection of food as well as drinks. The place is huge and I never had to wait for a seat which is always a good thing when you are really hungry. There are activities upstairs that I never tried but if I came with or met up with friends this place would be easy to spend hours eating, drinking and enjoying games. My biggest complaint is they don't have one where I live!

This is a great place for small and large parties. I have worked with Michele several times for small gatherings and she never disappoints. The managers, bartenders and all staff are always great! We always have an awesome time making some great memories. I highly recommend this location for a fun time and especially for an event/party location. The Karaoke rooms are awesome!

Came in a couple days ago with some friends. The drink menu was interesting, and I was feeling adventurous that night but couldn’t figure out exactly what to drink. Thankfully the bartender there George was hearing in on the conversation and jumped right in to help. His energy, and concern to help us made us feel like we made the right choice to come here! George made me a jalapeño cucumber limeade that was on the non-alcoholic side on the menu, but added tequila to it. Delicious! And he made my friend a high fashion which was amazing. My friends and I will for sure come back for the service. Drinks are a bit pricey though.

Disorganized and poorly maintained. My kids attended a party in the "Cellar". The scoring system for the bowling wasn't working properly and when 3 different employees were asked to help, they each walked away without even trying to help. Surfaces were dirty and the entire place looked like a mess.

Great wings, wish they just had a traditional buffalo but the sauce I had was decent. Beer list is great and if you're feeling adventurous ask the bartender to make you their favorite cocktail. A couple of them like to experiment and make up their own which is always nice to try out something new. Definitely reccomend going during happy hour as food can get a bit pricey for what you get.

The token credit card machine down stairs broke and we could not charge the kids cards. The manager tried to fix it for like 20min but could not. He than gave both my kids $20 game cards!!! Super cool. And the food and drinks were just as great!

Very cool place. Nice atmosphere. Lots of games to choose from. The wait staff is very friendly. The gaming staff lost a star for me. Trying to reserve bowling or any other activity requiring to do so was like trying to navigate at the DMV. They expect you to know what to say and were not very pleasant. Our group of six waited 2 hours to bowl. Once we got on the lane, turned out it was not a real lane with oil, and the pins are connected to strings. Still fun, though. Worst part was that your game has a time limit. The staff did not inform us we would have a limit on playing time, so the 6 of us bowled 9 frames and one person threw a ball on the 10th. Kind of felt robbed, to be honest. Fix that issue and you get the 5th star. Food and drinks were great. Will definitely be back, but probably won't bowl.

Very nice employees, however the hiring process is less than satisfactory. Was told how perfect i was for the job and they would reach out to me with my schedule and they never did. I followed up several times where they either didn't respond or they told me that it was still being worked on. Their communication skills are lacking. If they weren't interested they should have said that instead of offering me a position and stringing me along for weeks.... I could have spent that time applying elsewhere instead of being offered something and waiting around for them. Update: It absolutely was the Schauburg location and i would be happy to forward you the email chain between me and Hailey K. She was my interviewer and there are numerous emails between us. As said above, I would be happy to supply them to you.

The food, drinks, and atmosphere were all solid. Can't really say the drinks were worth the price, but the food definitely was. That being said, it's pretty much elevated bar food, so it may not be worth it for some.

I had a really fun time on a Saturday night here. Good atmosphere, lots to do (including bowling), and plenty of specialty drinks that are fun to try (they've got funny names). I saw a younger crowd throughout the night, it was consistently busy, and also pretty loud (they play loud music). Note that sometimes the additional areas are rented out for special events, so you night not be able to enjoy rooms or events like bowling on some Saturdays.

I had gone once before and had a great time. However last night, it wasn't a fun as I remembered. Maybe because it was very crowded this time as opposed to the first time that I went, but the staff seemed to move slowly. We only ordered fries to eat, they weren't very seasoned. We also asked for ranch dressing to dip the fries in. The ranch tasted very watered down. When I asked why, the waitress that Punchbowl social makes their own dressing. Maybe they shouldn't lol. The same with the buffalo sauce that my friend ordered. Just not flavorful at all. I didnt eat food the first time I went so I can't compare it to a previous experience. I heard the food was good, so maybe it was just whoever cooked last night.

Free games, some are $10, there's bowling and shoe rentals, food is pretty big portions, and drinks are decently priced. Great place to have a chill time or to bring a group of friends and have a fun night. Parking is free and there is plenty of it. This place is huge!

I give this place a three stars due to me and my coworkers going in around 9/9:30 my fiancé and I got there around 9:20 we were both hungry we ordered food and drinks , food was great we just both didn’t like the rosemary fries for our taste . Due to some of the employees being under 21 they were asked to leave at 10 pm . unfortunately that was the case for me as well, the manager I assume went around asking for everyone’s ID’s I let him know if I could finish my food he said sure and then proceed to check everyone else’s after he was done he was just watching the group and waiting for us who were 21 and under to leave . All the employees understand that there are rules to follow but no need for the manager to sit there and watch us every second . Made me feel uncomfortable to eat my food because I felt rushed . The bartender es amazing! No complaints he reassured me that I could finish my food without a problem . My coworkers and I are not from the area it’s a halfway point for most of us and about 20 mins from our actual job some people came from Chicago to only be there for 30 mins and other came from Gurnee area to also be there for 30 mins as well because of the 21 and under rule . Felt like a waste of time and money to me . Unfortunately we will not be going back .

This was a unique environment with a lot of fun games and activities. The set-up is pretty great with three floors and different activities available on each (with a bar on each as well). However, they get very crowded and, with limited availability of games and activities, everything filled up quickly and most games are only available on a first-come, first-served basis, so you have to stalk the people playing any particular game of interest in order to get a hold of it. The food was pretty good, but much too pricey for the quantity and quality. The same was true of the drinks--they were expensive and the mixed drinks were pretty watered down. When I asked the bartender what drink she could make with a particular ingredient, she made an old fashioned-sized drink filled to the brim with ice and then charged me $18 for it.

There were no servers still working, the bartender acted annoyed and bothered to serve us, and we went to the bar a couple of times and there was no bartender there at all. Just not good. At least pretend to not hate your job.

1st time at this place and headed to the cellar because of a party. My initial impression was what a man cave. Bowling, ping ping, bags, bocce ball and a variety of other classic games. Had a very nice time and the food also was quite memorable as well. Drinks were certainly pricey but I'm sure overhead is outrageous. This place will have enough to keep people entertained as long as your wallet is fat.

Punch Bowl Social has a really great atmosphere. The design, and look of the place is very hipster and feels cool. I took off a star because the food wasn't all that great despite their claims of a famous chef creating their recipes. We got the nachos (which had cauliflower, and goat cheese which was weird), and the fried chicken. The fried chicken was actually really good, but it was just a big bowl of chicken with no chips or side added. Our waitress was new, so even though she kind of messed up sometimes during out visit I didn't mind. I cut her a break since she had only been there a few days. Everyone was nice, and friendly.

Extremely rude service! We visited this place for the very first time thinking it was going to be a good experience. Our server Deep not only had ZERO patience for us (again, first time guests) he kept tapping his pen, kept trying to walk away, basically had his back to us the entire time, once we finished ordering he SLAMMED his server book closed and walked away. Our party order food and 14 received their food at the same time when the waitress came out to tell the other 3 in our party that they were out of lobster. Why wait???Truly poor service. 2 of the 3 received an alternative selection 15 minutes later and the 3rd took more than 30 minutes. The rest of the party had already finished dinner.

My son and I stopped by for lunch to kill a few hours bowling between soccer games at Olympic Park. He has a laundry list of allergies. When we were seated by the hostess she asked if he needed a children's menu. I told her no he has a lot of allergies. She informed me they have gluten free options to which I thanked her and informed her they were beyond gluten. Waiter came took our drink orders, brought our drinks, took my food order and said OK when I told him we had food for my son. A couple minutes later he brought out some sort of roll to gnaw on. Then Jose the magical manager showed up at our table. He said we don't allow outside food and informed me my son couldn't eat when we prepared for him. I informed him of the allergy issues to which he shrugged off my response until I asked him why nobody informed me before they took my order. I informed him our plan was to bowl for the next 2 hours. He eventually offered to comp the bowling, but I told him I wasn't interested. I was not looking for a handout. A restaurant that has a sign stating Safe Place posted should take care to realize there's a lot of families carrying around epi-pens at all times. Not because they enjoy it, but because their child's life depends on it. Now I understand I'm at fault as well. We had his food out in the open, mentioned allergies to the hostess and waiter, but didn't specifically ask if he would be allowed to eat it. As soon as Jose left, my son asked if we could leave. I got my food to go, paid, and we went bowling at the alley in the mall. Pretty bad experience, but I guess it is a reminder to ask rather than assume a restaurant cares if there's anyone with sever allergies. Thank you for making an 9 year-old cry. I know he needs to toughen up, but shouldn't be due to the way a restaurant treats their customers. Food: It was good. Probably would have tasted better in the restaurant. They've asked me to DM them my phone number so they can call me. I in response asked them to DM me the number I can call to talk to their manger/owner.

I have been here 5 times and every time the food has been phenomenal! Staff is knowledgeable about the whole menu and also the drink menu. The have specialty punch that has been created every month I believe. There are three different levels you can hangout and socialize. It's a great place for whatever you feel like doing that night, socializing, drinking, and most importantly having fun with whoever you go with.

This place is really poorly managed. We had a party coming and called to let them know we were coming a few days before. They didn’t even bother telling us that practically the entire place was rented out for private events and there was nothing to do except bowling. So we bought a lane for an hour and bowled. At the end, at 8, we decided to bowl for another hour...we’ll apparently the last reservations for bowling end at 7:30, which again, no one mentioned. So we sat and drank for a little bit on the EMPTY bowling lanes, only to be kicked out at 8:30 for a private event. Definitely would not waste my money at this place that sounds fun but ends up being extremely boring because you can’t do anything....

Had to wait really long to get someone in the bowling section and when finally someone showed up, they gave the "only" available lane to someone who came after us and told that we had to wait another hour to get another bowling lane. Was excoted for this place, but had to return disappointed.

This is an awesome spot for food and entertainment. Indoor lawn games as well as bowling in the "Attic & Cellar" exceptional service with a great staff! They also feature a great drink menu.

Very cool concept. A good amount of "adult" games to play. From bowling and foosball to corn hole and bocce ball. The beer selection is not the best. Neither is the main floor service. Go to the cellar to get better service. One awesome thing about this place is when you open a tab it good anywhere in the building.

Usually kind of dead, the actual inch bowl drinks aren't the strongest, little too bougie of a menu but it tasted fine. Can be fun upstairs. There's bowling, bocce, a few arcades. Go for a beer or cocktail.

While my partner and I pride ourselves on living a non-homophobic lifestyle, Punch Bowl takes it to a new level. An only & openly Trans (or currently transitioning) serving staff makes confused native Schaumburgians feel right at home. They will answer any and every question you have about the lifestyle choices these "people" have made - as enforced by management. So in between the fine dining and hot action on the lanes (or in the stalls) please take some time out to guess which server has fully transitioned, or just beginning the process of doing so. And ask! It's their job to tell

Went there with my wife to celebrate a friend's birthday. We had a party of about 16. The staff sat us down at a table for 12 instead of a adding a separate table next to the large table. The food choices did not appeal to my wife nor I, but we did end up getting a shareable dish of the nachos with carnitas. It was okay. Not bad but not great, but could have used more carnitas. I also had a beer, which, beer is beer. My wife had some kind of mixed drink. She said it was pretty good but it was a small amount per drink. The staff was friendly. Only problem was that it took a long time for the waitress to come back to our table. A party of 16 would require constant attention with all of us drinking and being hungry. Especially when we had reservations. I didn't try anything else like bowling or games. Maybe next time if there is a next time.

My experience: excellent service, eclectic menu options, fine wine and drinks. The establishment has an expansive atmosphere with high ceilings, modern rustic style textures and contrasting color combinations. Games and bowling broaden the appeal for those who wish to entertain or be entertained.

As a gamer, this place was perfect. Tons of different games to play of all varieties, and the service was excellent. The drinks were not too expensive, and they were extreme li y tasty! Some places somehow cannot nail down an old fashioned, but punch bowl did the trick!

I was there for a company function, our company had rented the downstairs area. It had a bar, a 4 lane bowling alley, darts, fuse ball table, corn hole bags, and old style video games. They had also provided free food and soda, and the liquor was extra. The food they provided was ok, but it could have been better. Other than that, the service was pretty good, and it's a great place for getting together with friends.

Never even made it to this place. This review is more geared toward the event manager, Michelle Ortero at the Schaumburg, IL location. I found it hard working with her because she wasn't responsive in the beginning. It was a week later after I called before I got in touch with her. I had to call and voice a complaint that no one had called me back. The information she provided was not forthcoming. She also had a lack of care and effort in her customer service approach that I was very put off by. Stating services that wouldn't accommodate us and she admittedly said wouldn't so I don't understand why she would even recommend it.

I like the menu, different options from other places. Very tasty and good service. You can play bean bags and Jenga. They have a very cozy bowling alley upstairs. Overall a really nice place to eat, hang out, and have some fun.
