If you have a happy hour you need to train your team how to manage it. 3 servers didn’t know what table to deliver our food too and when we here eating we didn’t see her after the delivery of food. We waited 1 hr before I had to walk up to the bar and ask to pay for the check. The manager didn’t even know what check I was paying for and asked me to tell him what we ordered. Again if you want to have a successful restaurant and business you need to have a team that will take care of your most important guests. - yes crazy idea!

Two of my friends and I stopped in at the recommendation of another friend. The atmosphere was pleasant and on first impression I was very please, until the food arrived. In all honesty, it was one of the worse tasting meals I've had in my life. Chicken Parmesan is my favorite plate. Everywhere I order this meal, from a 5 star restaurant to a small moms and pops Italian food place - it is always good. My standards are not very high. It seems that the recipe Pinstripes has is chicken, cheap Parmesan and nothing else. Let the chicken soak as much oil as it can. Put it on top of spaghetti and a small amount of tasteless marinera sauce on the very bottom. My friends also didn't like their meal. The server was friendly, but never refilled our drinks. We were debating on whether to give her a good tip, which we did. But... we will never go back.

Fun! Love having something to do besides sitting around eating and drinking. The brunch buffet has a ton of delicious stuff on it - biscuits and gravy, sausage and bacon, scrambled eggs, flatbreads, salads, pasta.... All delicious. Desserts and fruit with chocolate fondue... Yum. Bowling and bocce are so much fun! The service on the lanes wasn't great, though, and since you pay by the hour, it was a bit annoying that we couldn't find it server when we wanted something. But overall, a great way to spend a Sunday!

OK food, but WAY overpriced for what you get... It's not anything better tasting than Panera. I guess of course you are paying for the pretentious atmosphere. Also, an upper crust establishment certainly should know the definition of bruschetta, right? It is NOT the tomato olive oil mixture our server insisted it was. According to the dictionary: A toasted Italian bread drenched in olive oil and served typically WITH garlic or tomatoes. I'm guessing the bread had egg in it, which my daughter couldn't eat, so they left it off the Vegan option. But please don't CALL it Bruschetta then!

Best bowling and food combo in Johnson County in my opinion. My 1st time there was so much fun! I reserved a lane online in advance on Valentine's day so my party of 3 didn't wait at all. The service, drinks, food, and setup was awesome. Only 4 stars because the lane stopped working after an hour of bowling and the manager couldn't get it work but we planned on leaving soon anyways so it was no big deal.

Bowling and delicious food. The service is awesome. Their outside patio is fun in the summertime. The location is beautiful. You can take a stroll around centennial lake after ur lunch or dinner here. The food taste good but nothing out of the ordinary. It's a fun place to throw parties or just have a bowling/dinner night. It's super clean and aesthetically beautiful. Not 5 stars because it can definitely get pricey.

Our company used Pinstripes as an after-event meeting place. We reserved a bocce ball area and had food brought to us buffet-style. I really liked the setup and food. Service was really friendly and fast. I loved the atmosphere and overall space of the entire restaurant. Bonus: I learned how to play bocce ball!

Pretty upscale place. The lanes upstairs were really small and not flat. Instead of tables and chairs, there are comfy couches and coffee tables to sit at. Beverages were very reasonably priced and they had a better selection of food than a regular bowling alley has. It was $10 per person per hour to bowl plus the shoe rental which was another 5$. Avoid the parking garage, it's always a mess to get into/out of.

Lovely restaurant with a surprising location. Right in the heart of a major shopping area in upscale Edina, there is a patio spanning the length and width of the building offering views of a lake, park and pavilion surrounded by mature trees blocking any traffic noise. Outdoor seating also includes a large firepit for those cooler nights. Inside is a charming restaurant with contemporay Italian food which my guests and I thoroughly enjoyed. If you care to enjoy a game of bocce or bowling before or after dining there's that to enjoy as well. Upstairs are conference and banquet rooms. This unique venue has much to offer all ages and interests, highly recommended!

The food here is always excellent and is made in a fine manner. I love the happy hour specials, since eating here on regular prices can be quite pricey! The brunch here is also very good having a wide variety of dishes and also a nice made to order omelette station with a small carving station. The drinks here are also very good, with specials on Thursday for 6$ cocktails! The games here such as bocce ball is a lot of fun as well :) I have actually never played bowling here, but I am sure that is great. Sitting on the sofas by the bar is so relaxing and this is an excellent place to unwind.

Great concept and foods was good but overpriced. When we got there we were taken upstairs then downstairs then up again and finally taken to the two outdoor lanes away from the fun atmosphere. On the way out there we passed who would be our waiter and the host informed him that she was seating our party of 12 out there. He proceeded to make his annoyance by that known. We get settled and the waiter never comes. We notice that our Boccee Ball set was missing the small white ball. We inform the host that the waiter hasn’t come and the ball is missing. They are unable to find more white balls and by that time 20 minutes of our play time has passed. They bring two regular size Boccee balls as a replacement. The manager comes and finally takes out drink orders. We didn’t get any refills unless we found someone to ask. We will never be going back.

If you are going for bowling as someone who bowls in leagues but didn't take his bowling balls shoes or anything the house balls were either super spin or the lanes are never oiled. I'd probably go with the latter just assuming the atmosphere. Food was ok. Pizza was the best thing

So FYI if this place is a new stop dont assume make a reservation for bowling! Our service in general was very slow - it didnt seem like we were a priority. Beautiful event space! Our group had the whole top floor. The bowling lanes are set up privately with couches and a lounge feel. Food was delicious. Especially liked the chicken and goat cheese pasta. Three bocce ball lanes set up upstairs as well. Very fun and much classier than you'd think of a bowling alley being.

This is a great place for authentic Italian lemoncello's. Whether it's a date or hanging out with my family and or friends I always have a wonderful time. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I have asked for recommendation and not been disappointed . So far, I've been to 3 different unique events. Everybody had a great time.. The food is wonderful! I'm known to order every dessert on the menu to share when we don't know which one to select. I grew up playing bocce balls with Mia familia. So, I'm very happy they have inside bocce ball. So many nice areas to sit relax and enjoy. Happy hour is truly a happy hour or two? Excellent hors d'oeuvres menu with an assortment of delicious drink to choose .

Love coming for happy hour or dinner! They have a really great outdoor space where you can get a table on the patio, or get your food and drink delivered to an Adirondack chair seated around a fire. They also will have live music on the patio select nights! For happy hour the tenderloin sliders are delicious, and I would highly recommend the signature chop salad! It sounds a little random with tomato, gorgonzola, dates, corn, olive, burrata, and white balsamic but it is AMAZING! Pictures drinks are the summer seasonal sangria.

Was a good setting to basically hang out, but at the price of bowling there, you want to bowl and the setup is a bit crowded. The lanes play way different than a regular bowling alley, you may not like the play if you bowl at a regular alley with any frequency.

The food was also very good, they had a extra room that we used for photography. Overall I would say that this is a very nice place in prairie fire and I would especially recommend it for private parties

Will never go back,as they allow unruly dogs in and patrons don't have service vests on their dogs. NO restaurant shoukd allow a dog in their restaraunt unless it is truly a service dog. People need comfort dogs to go eat out now? Really?, So maybe i should bring a Snake to a restaurant. LOVED this place but will never go in again

This. Place. Is. Cool! This will have been my third trip to Pinstripes and I can't wait to go back. I the times I've had the opportunity to stop by, we've had drinks, food, and played a few rounds. The bowling experience is super lux with the wait staff always prompt in bringing drinks. Bocce ball in the back patio might be my favorite though. Great atmosphere. Always a good crowd. Food is tasty and modern, drinks are fantastic as well. Can't wait to go back!

Sara Alaniz, our wedding planner through Pinstripes, took great care of us and helped with many of the decisions and soothed my worries.The food was amazing, no one left hungry! This place was rented out for a baby shower and it was perfect! The food was buffet style and they had fresh omelette and waffle stations. They had food to satisfy all cravings. I would definitely host another event here. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. The party size rooms were a great size. They also set up the tables and chairs for you and you are provided with two waitstaff. If you are looking to throw an event with a fun twist this is your spot!

I have heard great things from this place since it opened. Still haven’t bowled yet but did go to trivia at there restaurant. A fun event in itself was combine with great food and service from the restaurant. I got a flatbread that I was worried about because avocados on pizza?? was worried for nothing tasted amazing. Even though we were doing trivia servers still gave great service coming up in between questions. Bathrooms were clean and nice. Defiantly will be back for the food can’t wait to try more of there event spaces for bowling.

This is an awesome place for a bowling alley. The lanes seem well-cleaned and the staff is always friendly to all customers, especially regulars. They have a GREAT deal of $1 bowling per person per hour after 9pm on weekdays (usually the place is not packed), which is excellent for people looking to practice or just to have some late-night fun. I love how they respond to requests promptly and can often accommodate to small changes to a party right away. In addition, this place seems very family-friendly and has a great menu for bowlers and other customers to order from. I would love to give a shout-out to Laine (for being very kind in running the front desk for the bowling lanes) as well as Brian (for being very knowledgeable and interactive especially as a manager). Furthermore, every waiter/waitress that I have had in the past year or so seems to always have a positive attitude for working here, so shout-out to them too. Out of the many bowling centers I have visited in the past years, this seems to be one of the best environments that easily could meet a variety of customers' wants and needs. Note: They also have bocce courts which tend to follow the same $1 system after 9pm on weeknights.

Today was my first time here, and it was a great experience. I came for a birthday party, and we had dinner first then bowling. I ordered the Italian Jambalaya and it was amazing! Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection! The bowling area was also nice, and felt intimate although there were other lanes in the room. Prices were a little higher since it’s an upscale establishment, but the ambience was a nice change from your usual loud and boisterous bowling alley/sports bar. I’ll definitely be back for that jambalaya!

Fancier bowling alley. Rented a lane for a double date with close friends. If the place is busy it may get crowded. We ended up sharing a coffee table with the family in the lane next to us, which is maybe kind of awkward seating if the kids were bad or both parties were too get food and drinks. If you don't get a reservation, you may have to wait awhile to get an open lane, but there's a nice bar with sports TV on and a fair price on drinks. The food we ordered was good, but in my opinion small portions for the price.

My wife and I have always liked this place. The happy hour is nice and we like the live music on thursdays. But when we were there the other night. Sidney, the bartender, was our waitress. Last time we were in we saw her taking shots with an old manager while working, and talking poorly about other coworkers to another table. This time she kept yelling in some baby voice at other people at the bar and said some very inappropriate comments to my wife and I. My wife was so irritated she got up and left the table. Sad to say I don’t think we will be going back. Definitely not an appropriate family atmosphere.

Upscale feel, without being prohibitively expensive. I went for a dinner special. Mondays they have bottomless Salad and Spaghetti. The salad was wonderful, salty, sweet, crisp, and not overdressed. The spaghetti and meatballs were good, but the real star of that meal was the salad. Beyond the food, the wait staff was friendly and attentive, and while I didn't get a chance to try them, Bocce and Bowling both seem like fun ways to end a meal here with friends or family. I'll definitely go back.

Pinstripes is lots of fun. I like to go during happy hour to get the price break on their really tasty food. Get the items on the menu that have an asterisk by them indicating the chef's pick for tastiest options like the chicken avocado flat bread, Bechamel, and house chopped salad. The bowling is expensive so I like to go after 9pm during the week to get it for cheap along with the bochi ball which is really fun. Come with friends. You'll have a great time.

Great food and good bowling! I was surprised that bowling was per hour versus pay per game. In our group of 5, two of us finished 3 complete games before time was up. Pleasantly surprised that Pinstripes bistro has great food! They have an a la cart brunch on Saturday and a brunch buffet on Sunday. Everywhere else we tried today (a Saturday around 11:30 am) was completely packed, but we were able to get in and also found on street parking across from the front door. Also, THE WAFFLES (see my photo) were delicious, as were the mimosas. Our server didn't write our orders down so there were a couple of mistakes (ex. ordered fries that we had to ask for twice), but she was really nice, we eventually got them, and they were also ... delicious. Good brunch option!

Pinstripes has some of the worst value in the city. They charge for a premium experience, yet the place offers anything BUT that. The bowling lanes are in deplorable shape, with obvious divots/waves on most of the lanes. They also must not polish/wax them very often as balls with any spin bite immediately. Even though we went during a down time service was painfully slow. If bowling is your primary objective I'd go anywhere but here.

We go to Pinstripes often and usually love it. But the last visit was really disappointing. We went for my birthday and took our 5 year old grandson. First, the server was going to bring more bread sticks for my grandson and didn't. Then, we got our entrees on top of our appetizers. When we mentioned it, twice, both times the servers said "Enjoy"! My husband's order was wrong. And no coffee was offered when when we were brought our dessert. All in all it was most unsatisfactory.

The service at the front bowling desk was poor but not as bad as the service in the Bistro. The lady at the bowling desk wasn't very friendly and acted as if she didn't want to serve us. This was on Sunday 4/14 about 630pm. We decided to eat dinner while we waited to bowl since the wait was a little over an hour. Our server was either hard of hearing or maybe just new to the job. We got the wrong drink first and then after we ordered the lasagna he came back about 10 minutes later to tell us they were out. I asked if fries came with the chicken sandwich and he said yes but instead it came with wet frieze which I guess was what he meant. The spaghetti (what hubby ordered since there was no lasagna) comes with no bread (which the server never explained or offered) so we asked for bread and got 4 pieces of garlic bread with cinnamon on top (gross). The fries I finally got were warm. $50 for a boring bowl of spaghetti and a bland chicken sandwich smh sub par to say the least and the service was just poor. Definitely didn't stay for bowling afterwards. May try again on another night just in case this was just an isolated incident.

This is an interesting place and has a lot of potential. They have bowling and bocce ball. As well as a full menu bistro. It has a bit of a hipster vibe. One star off because service didn't quite meet expectations. When we were bowling the server came by when we first sat down to see if we wanted anything, to which we said maybe in a few min. And he never came back to check on us. Not once, that full hour. I had to go out to the bar to get my water refilled and when I went out there l 3 servers were just standing around chatting with the bartender. It took them a bit to even acknowledge me. However when we switched to bocce ball downstairs, we got a new server and she was really solid. Overall a fun place with pretty good food.

Worst Pinstripes location... 2 stars is only for the venue. It was beautiful. We were there for a Company Christmas Party. And where to start. Food: this was a buffet. The best highlight was the oysters everything else was cold. The beef tenderloin was flavorless and overcooked. The salad was mushy, the calamari was box frozen and everything else was mediocre at best. Service: I don't know if the serving staff were not the greatest or if the serious lack of management was to blame. There were hundreds of people at this event. The main dining room had over 20 tables and I seen 2 servers trying to cater to all of the seated guests. One server came to our table 1 time , about 30 min later we seen him across the room at another table. (Shouldnt servers be sectioned to have some control and timed visits to guests?) Apparently not here. It was 49 min until that server came back. During a 2 hour time , I THOUGHT I seen a manager, Walking around looking at the tables. Not once did she grab an empty plate, speak to a guest or ask the 2 servers that were walking past her if they needed anything. No other manager was ever seen.. . Bar: there were 6 bartenders struggling to keep up with the open bar (not their fault) and 3 servers standing at the computers as guest had to walk to them to put in a drink order Bowling: we sat later during the event to play. They had 2 servers set up at a table with wine. Both laughed and sat down for over an hour without moving. They made no Initiative to to walk around and serve anyone much less stand up. I had to leave the bowling lane to find a server to ask for drinks . Overall , if I was the host of this event, I would have been embarrassed. I've been to Pinstripes for other events and had great things to say. Maybe it's just this location? Maybe its owed or managed by someone else? . Northbrook would have a better job seeing as they Always have.

My friend had her wedding reception here. The Sunday brunch is amazing, 100% would recommend! My attempt to play bocce ball was fun and I would have liked to try the bowling. It would have been helpful to have instructions easily accessible as I've never played before. That being said, I never asked a staff member and didn't Google it... so my own fault!

We had a huge problem here and it was handled perfectly. From the beginning, our server was fantastic. The menu choices were great. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. Unfortunately, my friend ordered a veggie burger which arrived with cheese. She sent it back to the kitchen for one without cheese. The server brought her a salad in the meantime, which was thoughtful. Her burger returned to the table a short while later. She ate 3 quarters of it and then noticed cheese in the burger - again. She was very upset. She's vegan, but had her food choices been an allergy, this could have been a serious medical situation. Management came to our table and handled the situation with understanding, apology, and professionalism. My friend was still very unsettled, but management rectified the situation appropriately. Obviously, I can't give 5 stars due to receiving a food not desired twice, but I'll happily give it 4 stars as the server and management handled the kitchen's mistake wonderfully. I'll be back.

The value was very good. My wife and I have gone to Shaw's Crab House several times for their $65.00 Sunday brunch and honestly, the experience at Pinstripes was so much better. Came for bowling and beers in the early afternoon. The lanes were so dry, any spin on the ball would stick after 10 feet, and the ball would take a straight line rest of the way to the pins. Bowling rates are good, but you get what you pay for. Bowling aside, beer selection is good and service is great.

Great service and great food. I ordered the calamari to start. This was delicious. The calamari was cooked well (I can't tell you how many times I order it and it is overcooked) and the exterior was nice and light. It was a nice balance between the batter and the squid. The sauce on the side provides some nice acidity to the calamari (if you don't already put some lemon on it). For my entree I ordered the gnocchi with a side of creamy polenta. The polenta tasted amazing and the texture was on point. The gnocchi had tuna on top of it, a very interesting addition. Oh and the gnocchi was cooked nicely as well. To finish it off I got the pistachio gelato, which was pretty good too! Overall I would recommend this place to others :]

What could be better than Harry Potter trivia? Harry Potter trivia with butter beer at Pinstripes! My co-worker told me about a Harry Potter trivia that was happening at Pinstripes in South Barrington. I've seen pictures of their restaurant before on social media so I couldn't wait to see what this place looked like. When you're navigating to the restaurant GPS isn't accurate taking you to the front. Since it's located in a huge plaza, there are local signs with arrows that I followed to get there. They even have their own designated parking place. Be sure to get there a few minutes early so you can get a parking spot. The trivia was hosted by a third-party company in a small hall to the right of the entrance; you can check out more of their events on Event Brite. When you enter, stop by the bar, get a drink and find your seat before the trivia begins. Trivia normally occurs during happy hour so once you were seated, the waiter handed you the menu. As I was making my way to the bar, I saw they had a special Three Broomsticks menu with a customized drink so I had to try the Butter Beer. Last time I tried it, I was in Disney world and this version with vodka was so much better. The Butter Beer consisted of vanilla vodka, butterscotch liquor soda and cream. Once we made our way over to our table we had a sheet of Harry Potter characters we had to fill out. Then trivia began with five rounds of questions. We placed our order of two flat breads: Chicken and Avocado Club and the Chicken BBQ flatbread. They were cut into small pieces you could eat during trivia. The Chicken and Avocado club is on their Happy Hour menu with small chicken pieces covered in pesto, large avocado slices with tomato slices under the cheese. The Chicken BBQ was by far the best Chicken BBQ pizza I've seen anywhere else however it is not on their Happy Hour menu online. It had small BBQ slices of pizza, with sauteed red onions and a miraculous BBQ sauce drizzled on top. If you don't see it, you should ask for it!

Fun place that makes for good, clean entertainment for young and middle-aged adults. A great addition to Johnson County, Kansas. Place is usually clean and full of energy. Constructive criticism would be that it's a little pricey and the staff tends to pack the bowling groups on top of each other, lane to lane. Make it an occasional treat instead of "the" place for hard-core bowling and the issues tend to be easy to deal with.

We usually come here for the holiday brunch buffets. Easter, Mother's and Father's Days, etc. Servers are on point (for refills, taking away plates) and food never runs low, even at the busier times. The selection is the usual fare - eggs and bacon, waffles, chicken tenders and Mac & cheese, omelet and carving stations - but the highlight for the kids, at least, is the chocolate fountain with rice krispie treats, strawberries, pretzels, Twizzlers and other fun thinks to dip in. Can be a bit pricey but kids under five eat free. And there are bowling lanes and bocce courts, but I can't really speak to those.

We had brunch there yesterday and I started with a half of Bagel and Lox...the salmon was smoked to perfection!! Second course was a made to order Omelette and a Show! The Chef was quite entertaining as he made multiple omelettes...flipping with one hand, stirring with the other all while carrying on a charming/funny conversation :) Dessert was the shocker!!...I had a waffle with Balsamic whipped cream cheese topping...it didn’t sound good at all, but the foodie in me couldn’t resist I had to try it. It was AWESOMESAUCE!!! It had a little pop of tart blended with a nice understated sweetness... it was incredible!! I felt like a judge on Top Chef! Lol. We came up with a dozen other desserts and apps this cream would make amazing!! Topped it all off with a $4 Mimosa...brunch done right!!!

If you like good food and libations, good service, bowling, and a match of bochi ball give Pinstripes a try. My wife and went on wednesday night date to pinstripes. We arrived about 8 PM. The food was superb. Our waiter Brent was excellent ( we found out later it was Brent's 2nd day on the job). We tried bodhi. The atmosphere was very good. The capper was a free dessert. Had a celebration for my daughter's 18th birthday, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Besides bowling, I recommend trying out Bocce. My guests and I had a lot of fun playing against each other in competitive spirit. No worries if you don't know how to play, because the staff will take the time to explain the rules. The prices are higher than what you would expect from a typical restaurant. For example, the kids Mac N' Cheese was ten dollars with no sides included, but I imagine that one wouldn't come here without bowling or Bocce, or unless it's a special occasion. Don't get me wrong, but the food was fresh and delicious. I firmly believe that you get what you pay for. In summary, good food, atmosphere, and entertainment in one place. Parking is plentiful due to the location in an outdoor mall.

Good food, not fast food. Lovely space with big patio and windows that look out over a man made lake and scenic walk. Service was a bit slow this day so took off 1 star.

Fun place ! Bocce!

Fun place for activities. They have bocce ball and bowling. The happy hour was decent and had a good amount of food and drinks on it. This is a good place for groups if you want to be able to mingle around. I would recommend this place and will be back again.
