The staff was really friendly and helpful. Pricing is reasonable. Clean facility. However, this is a renovated alley and our lane kept breaking down and mis-scoring. After the 4th breakdown they moved us to a new lane, but by then our scores were all messed up. The kids had a blast, but a group of adults would have been really upset.

I like what you've done with the place. Hopefully the rest of the restaurants can be again utilized one day. Lots of potential. The front restaurant should be opened as a standalone business (Italian?) with an executive chef instead of line cooks which would draw people in with good prices and excellent quality food. A great meal and drinks are the beginning of a great night of bowling!

There was a high school tournament this week but I was there to use the pro shop. Scott is very good. Opened my thumb hole a bit since it had been really sticking (for free) and I spent 3 dollars on master slide. Good conversation enjoyable visit

Worst experience in customer service I have ever experienced. First off felt very unwanted as soon as we bought the games. The cold states from the 2 older women running the counter cut right through us as if they were a hot knife cutting through butter. After we purchased are games and shoes we put are stuff down and walked over to the bar. On are way to the bar dead stares at us again. We bought a cup of beer and a pitcher. The bartender filled the cup all the way to the brim and didn't have enough beer on tap to fill up the pitcher. So we walked the cup over to are wifes while waiting for the pitcher to be filled. On are way the over filled cup dripped a little bit over the top. The league bowlers lost it. We ignored them and walked down to are lane. We left the wife's there and headed back to the bar again to get are pitcher. In the time of us getting are pitcher and heading back the two old lady's were attacking are wifes and had them in tears. The other employees were telling us how sorry they were but the very rude older lady that was a manager told us to leave and they would refund all of are money. So they refunded the games but would not refund the alcohol that we didn't drink. This all happened in less than 5 minutes. This was the worst I have ever been treated in a place of business in my life. Didn't even want to give 1 star but you can't give a no star rating. Advice to management your employees should not discriminate or judge people.

Their google page said they were open from 9am-12am and we showed up on a wednesday at 8:00pm and the doors were locked. False advertisement. Terrible review. Other than that, great place.

It's nice that Highlands still open but the older ladies running the counter should relax and take a chill pill with the ones like us that haven't bowled in years. Still a great place to bowl with the kids

Very well put together under the pressure of a lot of lanes in a lot of tournaments going on today in the area well run facilities got us right in excellent pricing compares to other pricing in other areas of the country glad to be here today

The place was cleaner than I have seen it in years, the approaches were the best I have ever bowled on at Highland Park. The lane conditions were totally inconsistent and probably illegal no oil out and heavy oil 10 to 10. Some guys scored so maybe I just bowled poorly.

New owner is actually maintaining the building. It is actually clean and nice here again. The food pretty good, the pizzas I have tried have all been very good. Decent enough beer selection there is something for anyone.

Rude staff, pizza literally took 2 hours to be made. Paid for two lanes, we weren’t even done bowling and they put people on one of our lanes. Just completely rude.

The newly remodeled place is great, but I had the service light to order food and the waiter was looking right at the light and never came. Waited more than 15 minutes, the servers were just chatting at the bar.

While visiting Fargo Lounge, I stopped in to Highland Park Bowl. I frequented this bowling alley growing up and wanted to see just how much things had changed over the years. One again, I was surprised by the difference from years ago to today. Coming from the 80's, expectations were low honestly. "Why fix it if it ain't broke??" Well, the answer is...technology! Most establishments like this one must grow with the community, or get left behind! I'm proud to see my old stomping grounds have changed in some ways, yet stayed the same in others. Highland is a very personal place near and dear to my heart! My father would bring us (sister and me) bowling here during my parent's divorce. No matter how low we were feeling, this was the place to dry our tears and bring Smiles to our young faces! Fargo Lounge can do that for me today, but something about the old smell of this bowling alley brings back happy memories. Luckily, we survived the divorce and Highland survived the time! Thank you for therapy :)

A great remodel to a favorite venue! Worth a visit if only to see how nicely the remodel is coming along. New entertainment options are coming in all the time including bands and comedy!

Overall it was a good experience. My family and I enjoyed ourselves greatly. The only complaint I have is the charge to add toppings onto a pizza. For a large it was 3.00 dollars. And there was like 10 pieces on the whole pizza. If I spend 3 dollars more I expect sausage on every piece.

I like this bowling alley and haven't had much issue. The bar and food served is very good and at great prices. They typically have enough space for open bowlers even during leagues. This alley is closed on Sundays.

This place has been around forever and is just as much a part of my childhood as anything else. The folks there are real nice and the alley has been recently updated and looks pretty good.

We rented the south hall for my daughter and her friends sweet 16 party. Made the deposits and paid It off. A month before the party I called to make sure everything was good and was told they did not have our reservation and that hyvee had it. After arguing and showing my deposit receipt to Margie I was getting no where other than basically to bad. I then spoke with Ellen, Donna, Carol and Charlie and they took the time to listen and tried to help us out. We did get the hall for our girls with the help and hard work of them. We did not pay any extra and the girls had a blast and the party turned put great.
