Honestly, I liked Guttormsen bowling alley. However, I have been trying to go bowling for about the last two months so I can practice and get better. Can not get a lane.....ever. There are always reserved lanes but when I try to reserve a lane I'm told I can not do that because it's a first come first serve basis. They have special deals during the winter months but do not update the website to explain these only are available after leagues which is almost 9pm. Why offer 1 dollar games Mondays but you can't start till 9pm or later? One day I show up at noon, opening time during summer, have to wait about 10 minutes before we can come inside. Once at the register, the person who runs the register is not there and won't be for another 30 min. I felt bad for the poor woman that had to deal with all the customers waiting in line. She was the bartender, she shouldn't have been doing that job. She was wonderful though. I wish I could give a better review but I will no longer be making attempts to bowl Guttormsen.

I've been here a few times and I live the environment, Monday is $1 bowl, Tuesday is $2 bowl .. I didnt have a problem with staff.. great place to bowl when you wanna have a good time

This is my favorite bowling alley. Good prices, good food, and moonlight bowling, nothing like what the other bowling Ally's offer. This will always be my first pick of a place to go bowling. Great environment to have fun with family and friends.

Absolutely love this bowling alley! Signed up the little one for "Bumper Buddies" on the weekend, he absolutely loved it! Signing up for leagues this summer and totally looking forward to it! Manager is awesome and laid back staff which are always helpful. A nice clean place to bowl with decent pricing. This is a really chill place, love it.

Rude staff. Too busy. They told me they had no lanes available and told me to come back at 930 when HALF of the place was open and free. Go to another location as there are quite a few in this area. Don't waste your time here.

I like the place it's blowing alright but execpt for the dingy arcade that's it's and the food was absolutely garbage but not taste bad garbage more like "taste so generic I'd rather have gross pizza" but if you're there for bowling then yeah a place for you.

I love the GRC. Don't get me wrong. Great bowling alley, great for kids parties, and open bowling. I have to say though, the Cosmic Bowling needs some help. I miss the days of red and blue pins and if you got one as the head pin and you got a strike... you won prizes, and everything was glow in the dark and lights were everwhere! It was fun and exciting and busy! Sure it was dark...there were some lights and there was music playing...really low... we were the only group other than about five other lanes and I think we were trying to make it fun, but I do miss those good ol' times when the bowling alley made it something special...

Great place, had lots of fun with friends. The pizza tasted great and the soda was nice and refreshing. My only complaint is that I had a difficult time finding a ball that was the correct weight for me and fit my fingers. I had to go a pound up from my normal weight.

Great bowling alley and nice deals offered at certain days and times for open bowl. Only negative was we had our work Christmas party there and rented out the party lanes. Didn't realize that after our 2 hours of open bowl was up that we would literally be asked to leave bc they had another party hooked 30 minutes after us. I guess lesson learned but was unfortunate. Still a 5 star place just a heads up for others.

Every year, our Cub Scout pack visits this bowling alley to wrap up the first half of the scouting year. We bowl, have pizza, hand out awards and - this is the kids favorite part - give the kids their pinewood derby kits. They give us a good rate every year, are very patient and attentive to us as a large group of loud 5th grade-and-younger kids, and everyone loves the pizza! We will definitely be back year after year and continue with our annual pack tradition.

We just had a big family birthday party - we had the best time! We had several lanes reserved for us, a beautiful room to ourselves and awesome homemade pizzas. We had such a fun time we decided to make this an annual destination for January birthdays.

GRC is a great bowling alley! They have very active leagues so sometimes it get crowded but service is always spot on. If you are comming for open bowling check their site ahead of time for lane availability and make reservations. They also have deals listed with some incredible summer and weekend specials.

THE WORST customer service in the entire Wisconsin area. Came with 3 kids and 3 adults to bowl a few games. We paid an insane amount to bowl “hourly”. After we gave the rude old man our money he says “Your hour starts as soon as I give you your change”. So in that “hour” we had to wait to get our shoes, pick out balls for all 6 of us. Then half way through our game our lanes started acting up. Was giving us only one turn each and not keep our scores. Called for service, waited 5 minutes, waited another 5 minutes while he erased our last two frames. Then refused to give us any extra time, any money back or anything. The rude old man then said “I didn’t see anything wrong with your game.” First and LAST time I will ever come here.

SUPER RUDE! they advertise open bowling and are very rude about letting you and your kids know that the 25 open unused lanes are for leages that are nowhere to be seen this place wants no outsiders

We have my son's 4th Birthday Party here and it was great. The staff were friendly and accommodating for our large party. Fun for all age's including Bowling and an Arcade for the kids and a full bar for the adults to relax.

Everytime we try to go they never have lanes. We went on what was supposed to be open bowl because we checked online and it seemed completely empty but they said no open lanes until 9:30. We had 3 kids and we had been planning this as it was my son's 10th birthday and he loves to bowl. As of this point I give up on this place. They never even seem slightly apologetic. When I have gone in the past for a function the building itself was nice, but that is the only positive I have. That night the bartender was rude so I have never had a positive experience with the staff.

Cool looking but just all around terrible experience. They never have open lanes unless you want to bowl at a time that nobody else can bowl. Expensive, poor customer service. Frankly I much rather go somewhere not as “nice looking” for a much better bowling experience.

Although we were able to bowl within minutes of getting there, it was alot of fun, the only thing I need to mention is the food, you need to use smaller cardboard trays, or put more food in them. We all felt cheated.

Been going here since the 2nd generation arcade boom in the 90s all I can remember is trying to beat house of the dead with 4 quarters other then that has to be one of the best bowling alley in Kenosha

A go to for a group outing. The food selection was smaller than hoped for, but the food and drink timing was very quick. Bar service primarily, so not extremely disappointed by few options of food. Went for Cosmic bowling which is always fun, good value for the price of the time and shoes.

As a local Event Planner, I happened upon a big no-no at this establishment. We went today for Father's Day and we were so excited! We booked online which was very convenient. However, we were very upset because we did not get what we paid EXTRA (almost $70 extra) for. We booked in the Gold Room because it was a special occasion. While the setting is comfy and nice over there, we didn't get the background picture we chose, a waitress was nowhere to be found (even after we pushed the call button many times), and also didn't see an Xbox in sight. We paid $198 for 6 people for 3 hours to sit on comfy couches. The personalized service is what I paid for and what we were expecting on my husband's special day. Not only that but the per hour way to charge took at least 20 minutes of my time to order food for 6 people. All in, we spent $264 (food + bowling) in this establishment in 3 hours just to be on the other side of the curtain. Be wary.

Lanes kept malfunctioning. Pressing the service button did not matter because the staff came whenever. So the time we had to bowl was less than what we paid for. There was no apology for what was happening. Believe me all the lights and televisions does not mean it's great. If it was not for me being with my church group......other things would have be said. My God bless GRC terrible lanes.

I always loved bowling here. No other bowling alley that I know of has been able to host such a wonderful time. I used to live right down the street and we would have our family go there to throw birthday parties or hang out with friends for the holidays. The location has lots of good shoes for rental as well as a shop for pro gear and a bar with arcade. The vending has accessories to aid with your throw and the front area is well kept.

The lanes were not operating properly due to “lighting and sensor error”. Consulted with that staff directly and they were not motivated to fix the problem. My family and I were on a set time limit and we did not get to enjoy our bowling experience. Highly not recommend. I’m sorry but my Wii does better than this.. I won’t have to pay and then be worried about my lane not operating.
