I have lived in challis for a little over 1 1/2 years and finally had the chance to try their food and I had a burger & fries and they were what I call the best burger in town...gonna be back to try their pizza I heard good things about.

A nice little throw back kinda place. Had the burger and chicken burger specials that came with fries. $7 each. Very solid and basic burgers that were fresh and well prepared. Crispy fries that were better than McDonald's. Nice salt of the earth type of owner. Closed on Sundays.

Prices are Great! Burgers and fries are the best in town. Bowling is always fun! Kids love it here. The place is always clean when we stop in town. Don't let the "vintage chic" keep you from coming in haha. I will say, I wish I could take half a star off because every once in awhile we get someone who isn't necessarily rude, but not nice either. Otherwise, definitely stop in. It's worth it!

I grew up in Challis and i can say personally that this is one of the best places to get amazing food. There milkshakes are locally famous so you should totally get one

Challis is the first town you hit when you exit a giant camping trip in the Big Horned Crags. Stop in here for burgers, fries, and milkshakes as soon as you do.

For years I have been stopping at challis lanes for a bite to eat and a nice shake. Tonight our family stopped to enjoy a shake only to find out that the price was outrageously and the ice cream was the same as you can get from your local McDonald. I have no problem paying any price for a good product but for something that is totally artificial, including the flavoring, hum. I will have to think twice before stopping here again.

Service with a smile! Super nice owners and a staff who are always polite and responsible. The food is delicious. The ice cream is real ice cream - nothing like McDonalds. The milkshakes are thick enough to eat with a spoon. If suppertime gets away from me, the family always votes for bowling alley burgers and ice cream.

Great food really good milkshakes. Ice cream cones R kinda gritty. Milkshakes made from same ice cream but blender makes them smoother. Prices $ restrauant is clean well staffed have a drive-up also. Food is not precooked so always fresh.
