Honestly - it wasn't even the food smeared on the seats, the mostly-eaten wings that sat out the entire time we bowled here, or even the pin setter machine that failed to reset several times during our stay that gave me a sharp distaste for Main Event. The element that pushed me away - and to be clear, I will not be visiting another Main Event - is the blatant disregard and lack of personal ownership displayed by every employee I saw. Keep in mind that this was 7-9 PM on a Friday night. Prime time. Nobody seemed to care about cleanliness, timeliness, or attention to guests. I couldn't pick out a manager as nobody appeared to have that much dignity. I could go into more detail but I fear that my STRONG recommendation AGAINST this establishment may be lost in translation. Please, do yourself a favor and go 50 feet down the road to TopGolf.

I went on all you can play. So you pay a certain amount and you get unlimited laser tag, arcade games, and bowling. I had some bar drinks and they didn't disappoint! The only thing is half the arcade games seem to always be shut down.

Games are often broken.. on several occasions a game would have an error when trying to play yet the game would still take the $$ from card.. takes 20-30 mins to get refund back on card for the $ lost with no explanation or apology... I then notice that the employees don't bother to put an out of order sign on the game... So, they just keep ripping off people. I would say it's poorly managed. Could be much better...

Highly recommend going during promo specials. Otherwise, this place gets expensive quickly. The games were in great condition which was a welcome change from the broken down ones at a competitor. The facility was bright and clean which invited a longer stay. I am looking forward to going back and trying out the bowling and laser tag.

Plenty to do here. Lot of entertainment for all ages. The food is decent. The bowling alley and laser tag arena are well maintained. Can easily spend 4 hours here; I recommend minimum of 2 hours. I consider pricing to be low to moderate depending on what coupons/deals you may have.

Worst place to go. They are complete crooks. I was there for 10 minutes and half the games I played didn’t work. I tried to get my money back and all they would do is put it back on the game card. Now I’m out $35 and I never plan on going back.

Food is good, and most arcade machines work but some dont. Bowling here is very fun and you can even order food while you bowl! There is skywalk, laser tag, arcade, and bowling. I've never had trouble with their staff. Bowling goes slow sometimes but is pretty good and well working. Great place to bring your kids!

A fun place where you can bowl, play, drink, and eat. I ordered the chicken strips (bc they came with game credit), but they weren't of very good quality. When I went, we had to wait 2 hours to get a lane, and we decided to leave before the text came in to let us know. If I go again, I'll go when it's much, much less crowded.

Terrible value. They ended the unlimited play cards for 1 to 2 hours, so the value isn't there anymore for what you get. Pricey and the game selection is stagnant.

Slow service, poor coordination of events, and generally looks run down. The entire building is in need of a thorough cleaning. Waited over 45min for two burgers, waited an hour for a poorly maintained pool table. Pricing higher than most pool halls but bad spacing and no dedicated waiting list causing confusion for both customers and employees. Not worth the money.

We went to play pool and have a bite out. The service staff wasn't bad but the kitchen was very slow. The entrees were warm but the fries had gone cold. My burger was cooked medium rare on a dirty grill. I like some char on my burger but this was just excessive. The quesadilla was pretty good, but unless you are hungry while there I wouldn't suggest this place on the food. As for the pool tables, they were spaced fairly close together and both the felt and bumpers were well worn. The billiards balls were also in pretty rough shape, that combined with them being located on the edge of the restaurant area so people were constantly walking through the area. I was not very impressed for the cost, it was over $18/hr.

Overall the place is clean and has friendly staff. Went for a work event and had a southern spread with sausage, ribs, cornbread and all that. It was actually pretty good considering I'm not coming to this place for the food. Star deduction for arcade games on the expensive side ($1.50 was the cheapest I saw), and the pins on the bowling alley have different colored light on them. Makes it hard to see. Would definitely come back for a party or some pool after work.

Monday nights are the best for families!!! You cant go wrong with $10 for unlimted arcade games or bowling. The food is also pretty good. It's definitely a place the kids will love and the parents can tolerate.

Bring my son here now for a month and spend 1.5-2 hours playing pool and have yet to receive any service for food or drinks. Flagged people down on last visit and ordered an appetizer and after 45 minutes it was not ready and the server said it would be right up and never saw the food or server in our area again. Service needs a huge overhaul. Looking for another spot to spend our time that we can actually eat and have beverages with less inconvenience.

We just had our 2nd post holiday party and it was a blast! I think the packages they offer are a good value and everyone had a fun time. There were so many different things to do, which made it easy for everyone to have fun. And it was very easy going but organized! BTW there is some sort of insane giant sundae dessert that should be on everyone's to do list!

It's a fun place to be with family and friends. Lots of stuff to do, easily can spend 3-5 hrs with a big party. Food, laser tag, bowling, arcade, billiards, shuffle board etc etc etc. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is due to their poor management and organizing. We booked food, alleys etc etc, but they weren't ready on time as promised. Otherwise this is great!!!

I've been a few times it's a fun place to go just check the specials before you go and the have a good deal called the food and fun pass its definitely worth getting if you want to spend 30 in the arcade you get your meal for 3 dollars and it's like 5 if you spend 20 but go get the meal first because they give you the arcade card it's not the biggest arcade but it's not small either. To me one of the best features is the bowling it's good lanes that track statics while you bowl and if competitive bowling isn't for you they have bowling mini games. Its definitely worth checking out.

Kids enjoy it, but the "special deals" are a scam. We bought the unlimited activities package on a Monday night. Then when we tried to bowl or do laser tag, were told it would be a 2.5 hour wait. That said, it's still a good place for kids to roam while you enjoy dinner and a drink.

Attended company Christmas party there. PROS: great games & friendly staff with great attitude. Chef admitted some salmon was overcooked CONS: Buffet food was not up to par (salty crab cakes, tough, bland beef, dry salmon) & technical difficulties nearly ruined our karaoke contest. This was a 3 star experience but the serving staff was so excellent & I know the food can be better from past experience so I rated 4 this time.

Not a big fan of Main Event. Last time there was for a work party. The bar was way to slow. They had 4 bartenders, but time to get a simple draft beer was like 15 to 20 minutes each. This destroyed the hour we had for bowling since someone always seem to be waiting at the bar. The lazer tag is pretty lame, too many people in there at a time and random teams just stunk. Food that we had in out room was okay though.

We had a great time here. We met some friends from our of state. Clean, smoke free environment. We played the arcade games so I cannot rate the food, bowling or other attractions at this time but the game card price options are reasonable and the game cost is decent, also the ticket return is good as well. There are lots of prize options for lower ticket amounts so that is good for the young kiddos. Nice place for a nice time out with friends.

One of the best family entertainment places in Alpharetta! When we went when it was first open, there was a zipline and a little climbing area for kids. It's huge inside! Lots of different games for everyone in the whole family.

Paid 40$ for 2 unlimited play cards; no one told me that they don’t earn points. So not only can you not play all the game with this card but you don’t get to pick any prizes. My kids didn’t understand and neither do I. I feel tricked and don’t plan on coming back. Would be no stars but the bartender lady’s where nice ,and we spilled a drink and it was promptly cleaned up. I love going to Main Event, especially this one. I like this location over the location in Smyrna because this one is cleaner IMO. However, the bartender Shaleena is VERY rude. She has a bad attitude. She might need to work in the kitchen instead of being in the front. I spoke with the manager, William, and he was very attentive when I was expressing my concerns. I’ll go back to this location but if she’s at the bar, I’m leaving!! Five stars for Main Event but none for the bartender.

We always have fun when we visit this location. It's very clean. Prices are reasonable and there's a self serve kiosk for reloading game cards. On our last visit, one of the games took the money from our card but wouldn't work. The male employee at the front desk was very friendly and helpful and instantly corrected our problem. Highly recommend this location.

Worst customer service as if they do not really care. Was in line for bowling shoes - the lady that took my order went to the shoes and came back and started helping other customers. After helping about 10 others - she came to me and said sorry for the delay. I had no clue what I could say. Later, I was at a bowling lane and ordered two sodas. The person that took my order and payment went to bring my drinks and just disappeared. I waited for 20 mins and asked another person - and he was gone to check on them and never came back. I finally found someone “Richard” - who was very helpful. Sad part is - our kids had lot of fun at Arcade. however these two incidents overshadowed all of our good experiences and we left the place with a bad taste.

First time going to main event, thought we would try something other then stars and strikes...won’t make that mistake again! Paid for unlimited bowling but had to leave early because the service. We ordered WATER and some dessert. It took almost TWO hours to bring out order to us. And then the dessert was melted and horrible. Management says “it’s ok we will take care of it” and brings us a bill with $2.00 taken off....we will be returning to stars and strikes for now on!

We went there because of an ad we saw for 1 price to play everything all day. Turned out that ad was for only a couple of locations. So we paid for all day laser tag. We were told a new game started every 15 mins. We were the only customers here for a few hours. However, there were times we were told the attendant was busy (unpacking boxes in the prize area) so new games wouldn't start for 30 to 45 mins. They said at 5:00 more staff would come in and games would be every 15 mins for sure. More staff did come in and they seemed to spend their time cleaning. Games now started every hour because the 2-3 people stationed at laser tag had cleaning to do inside the game. My kids had been to Main Event 1 time in the past and loved it. They convinced me to go for my 1st time. It was horrible. I paid for 6 people all day laser tag. It was a huge waste of money and I felt we were deceived. I would understand if other people were waiting to play and we had to wait our turn. However, no one else was playing. We arrived at 11:10 am. We left for lunch at 1 point. We bought 2 hr arcade game cards at another time. Sat and ate desserts while waiting another time. We left about 7:15 pm. During all the time no one else ever played laser tag except my family. As if being told we could play every 15 mins and not being able to weren't enough the staff was horribly unfriendly as well. Like I said we were the only customers yet they constantly treated us like they were horribly busy and didn't have time to speak to us. My kids were torn between Main Event and Top Golf. In the future we will definitely be spending our money at Top Golf.

I went yesterday on date night with my husband. We had a blast, there are games for all ages. Let me admit I forgot I was a grown up the whole time I was there, I guess that's the point. The on duty manager William and the tech Clay are amazing, kind and quite funny, which made the place even better. William told me about a special and we got it. I was kinda sad I didn't know about the special when we walked in, but its okay things happen and now I still have extra spending money for our next date night there. If you are a big family with kids, get the 100 dollar card and you get a huge bonus and go on Wednesday because currently they have HALF of Wednesday not sure how long that will last, but our card didn't run out for two hours and we saved up a lot of points. The gift shop has a lot of nice stuff so save up your points too if you plan on going back. Thanks Main event staff William and Clay we had an amazing time at your location, see you soon and hopefully our next time is just as good as this time. From The clown machine couple!

Main Event never disappoints! I took 3 boys, ages 6, 8 and 9. We bowled two rounds then played in the arcade section. They have fun music playing, and consistently replace old machines with new one news. The prize selection is pretty fast, so the kids love that! They have recharge stations throughout the place and balance checkers as you go. Fun time!

Very fun place for kids and adults. I would come here again for a friend's birthday party. Had the very best experience for the fun. Now for the food however, it will come by at a fair time. Avoid if you want to get water. It will take a while.

Went bowling and played pool for a while. Staff was very friendly, plenty of lanes/pool tables. We were able to take our time and enjoy the games. #funwithfriends

Not the best night here. Not sure if they were understaffed or just complacent, but getting service was difficult and then resulted in disagreement as to "who" are server was. I understand the desire to not tread on ones compatriots toes, but if a customer is asking for service, I think it should be procedure to get it done. Figure it out after. Lanes were particularly dry too, though that's not unexpected in this sort of establishment.
