We've got all the reviews of people like you who know the services of Gold Cup Bowling Center (Bowling Alley) around Georgia area.
At present this business receives a rating of 4.2 over 5 and the score was based on 402 reviews.
You must have seen that the average score it has is good, and it is founded on a high number of feddbacks, so we may say that the evaluation is very credible. If people have bothered to value when they are pleased with the service, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to place evaluations when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Bowling Alley is classified in the category of Bowling alley.
Decent prices, at least on a slow Sunday. Professional staff and everything was kept fairly clean. Compared to the bowling alleys of the 90's things have gotten much better. Only complaint is that all the music seems to have to be paid for by patrons.
Hawks 12u Basketball Team enjoyed their banquet at Gold Cup Bowling.
Super outdated equipment and shoes. Still gets tons of customers.
Fun place took my son for his 3 bday he beat everybody
Fun place to bowl
Good had fun
Good Family Fun. Prices are very high on weekends.
Needs new arcade. Most games do not work or work properly. Getting prize for tickets machine does not work. Worst arcade I have ever seen. Bowling was great
Poor service it took 2 hours to get hour food and they still didn't have our complete order we was there 3 hours and still didn't get the rest of our food fries burnt we had to get $100 refund back in food the worst place to have a kids party 3 machine only worked and this was a kids party
Nice, clean, friendly. We will return
Had fun
My girlfriend and i had a chance with out the kiddo, so we decided to go bowling. The venue was big not really busy during the early afternoon. The lady at the front desk was really nice. I got a pair of bowling shoes but unfortunately the first set had a big hole in the bottom. She was quick to exchange them out and apologize for the hiccup. The price was decent for three games each and the shoe rental. The lanes were nice and clean and well waxed. We plan on going back again soon.
Great place for family fun!
Gold Cup took rolled a STRIKE for 27 teenage ladies with pizza and bowling! Great music and friendly service.
Went to buy some bowling shoes. Got a nice pair at a good price. Huge bowling center and modernized. Didn't bowl but would highly recommend it over the one in Macon.
I can't say I recommend this place. I've been here 3 times this summer and there is always something wrong. Once the cook was having a bad day and it took us 3 full games for some chicken nuggets to be made. They don't care if your child is disabled, slow weak or normal if you are over the line at any age they won't let them use the bumpers. Just really don't like this place very much right now.
Good spot. Clean facility. Average prices.
I had a wonderful time. Service was great. Nice spot to enjoy friends and family members.
Nice bowling alley but don't show up hungry. It's quicker to leave the alley walk 2 miles to McDonald's and come back after eating. Slowest kitchen in the south east. Took 50 mins to get nachos, chips and a cup of cheese. Orders were being turned away because of being busy but nothing in fryers or on grill. Great place minus the kitchen. Eat before u get here. Food is good, jus slower than Christmas. And i have worked in a kitchen cooking before. Their speed is embarrassing. I would just quit if that's the best i could do
We love bowling
A great family place and always clean
Clean decent food great prices and excellent service
Sunday.. 3 shoe rentals and 5 people bowled 2 games... $35.??.... good time spent with good people for NOT a lot of money...
Lanes haven't been oiled in weeks, tge approach is nasty, and the prices are outrageous! I don't recommend for anyone to come here.
Great place for family fun
It was fun
fun but expensive. none of the arcade games work. it takes a long time to get food so prepare to order way ahead of time.
Well-staffed, decent (if old) equipment, and surprisingly clean considering the age. The pizza is pretty delicious as well!
My daughter has bowling league there Saturdays staff is very nice
Lots of fun. Friendly staff!
Great leagues, good food and drinks. Equipment needs some work/upgrading/replaced.
We celebrated a birthday on a Friday night. our drinks were good from the lounge .the food was typical concession stand food but timely and hot. Restrooms were clean. Only reason I didn’t give five stars is they had one person working the counter and probably 10 or more people in line . I just think on a Friday night he could’ve used some help. The .price seemed reasonable the drinks were priced OK and so was the food so I would definitely recommend it. And we will go again.
Had an unexpected birthday party for my grandson. With help from the staff, it went off without a hitch!
Lanes good prices too high , but that's not my complaint. The concession was very slow not ftiendly . The pizza was berndt on the bottom and took forever for that and chicken tenders.
A little expensive. Otherwise enjoyed ourselves
I don't know what happened to all the nice people who used to work here. The carpet and tables are nasty! So nasty that nothing glows under the blacklight anymore. Food quality has gone down, prices have gone up. There is no music playing at all unless you pay for it. Gold Cup USED TO be a great place. We reserved the bar with the understanding that there would be a bartender - no bartender (they really could have made A LOT money if people would have been able to order drinks as expected!). Food was supposed to be ready when we arrived - 2 party guests (1 used to work there) had to make the food and fill up pitchers for drinks AFTER everyone arrived (hungry). THEN they dumped our pitchers out - without asking - long before the party was over and no one was around for us to even ask to refill them! We had no drinks for almost half the party. We asked to bowl on lanes near the "bar" and were only allowed IF we didn't use the trash cans (1 of the guests even offered to take the trash out herself - ridiculous!). So I (not an employee) put signs on the tables and covered the trashcans before anyone was allowed to bowl so we could keep the party together. No one ever checked on the party to see if we had everything. THEN I found an employee trying to clean up the bar AN HOUR AND A HALF BEFORE the party was over! I had to tell him NOT to throw anything away without telling one of us first! He said he didn't know what was going on (clearly). Everyone left before the party was supposed to be over. Our event was so special that people traveled from Germany, Ohio, & South Carolina, and elsewhere to attend. This is how they treat the people whose WHOLE FAMILY (3 generations) was raised in the bowling alley. If you must bowl, there really aren't any other options, but if you have the choice to do something else, I would advise to go elsewhere - especially for a once in a lifetime celebration!
Great fun. Friendly staff. Good food. 10/10 will go again
Good family bowling spot. Quite and cool. Very decent daytime prices. Great break from the heat.
Normally we would go to the base bowling alley, but we decided to try something different. This was our first time here. For a family of 5 and only 2 games of bowling it was a ridiculous $63. The food was also pricey and mediocre at best. Also shocked to learn you have to pay for music. Otherwise you’re bowling in complete silence. To top it off, I’m fairly certain the AC was not on half the time, so it got pretty warm quickly. Disappointed to say the least and we won’t be back.
A great place to bowl! Be safe & alert ,whereever you go, tho...
I Love it
Enjoyable center, spreadsheet the feeling to Macon GoldCup also.
It’s a clean bowling alley and has nice new shoes, extremely overpriced . You don’t get much bang for your buck here. By far the most expensive bowling alley I’ve visited in my life. Friendly staff though.
Lot's of fun! Plenty of parking, helpful staff, a lot of lanes, a convenient concession stand, restrooms, and great deals/packages to bowl. Very affordable! Between the costs for shoe rentals and 3 for 2 deals to bowl, coming out to about $12 a person was amazing! Just a great place in general, whether you're on a date and looking for something intimate or out with family and friends for a good time, you'll find it there. Check it out.
All around great family expirence! Although the arcade dosent work, and the machines thatd o are junk!
Great place to have fun
Great place, clean and friendly. Food and prices are what you expect for a bowling alley, besides the nachos, which are actually fried fresh to order and are more like the ones you get at a Mexican restaurant.
Employee snatched ball out of my hand right after rudely saying “You don’t need to use a size 7 ball” when we had them due to the fact that we had someone smaller with us and someone who was pregnant so we needed them. When I went to the front all I was told was “I’m new here and we are busy” and didn’t receive any help afterwards. To pay $134 to bowl, it was a pretty bad experience and will not be going again.
Lanes could be oiled before each league play. Also score screens should be updated
It was fun but the lanes got stuck several times. That may be normal and I just don't bowl enough.
Many lanes, good service
Wish I can give it a zero. The place is way too expensive for a family night out. I know it cost to maintain a bowling alley but I have never been to a place with prices this high. I would understand if there was more employees but no. I waited 25 minutes at the bar for a pitcher.
Very family friendly atmosphere; no booming music, strobe/black lights, ect... a lovely place to hang out with family and relax!!!!
Had my sons birthday party here, they worked with me to find the best option for my needs. Everyone had a blast.
Love the lanes because it's actual bowling unlike rigbys but the price is ridiculously high.. people wonder why bowling is a dying sport..
Nice place to bowl, easy access for wheelchair .
We always have fun here!
Awesome place. Great for kids.
It was amazing
Fairly nice bowling alley, the kids enjoy it.
Great place to have a few beers and relax
Fun spot
Fairly decent place. Bout what you expect from a bowling alley. It could use some updates. Friendly service is a big plus!
Fun, good atmosphere, decent food. Very friendly and professional employees.
A great place to have fun. They have food, alcohol, billiards, and a lounge as well.
Great family fun!!!
Took my family here for some bowling on a Sunday. Guy at the counter was great! Showed up at 11, snack bar did not open until 12. When it did open the guy behind that counter said oven still was not turned on and pizza would not be ready until 1pm. Spent a little over a $100 for my family and some friends to bowl. We left with out finishing even half of what I paid for. Nice establishment but not enough people on the payroll to be deemed worth going to. Try the place on 96 instead way better expierence and plenty of staff to help you.
Typical bowling alley. HAVE FUN!!
Fun times here good food decent prices for bowling Great customer service very clean and always willing to help if it's needed
Was surprised how clean. Pizza was good. Had a birthday party for family child. Everyone seemed to enjoy, adults and children.
Height restrictions for 6lb ball are not fair.
My wife and I love to go here and spend an hour away from the little one. Food is decent but service can be slow
It was fun the young kids enjoyed it however our pizza was burnt it took forever for the orders for the food and with teenagers around they were not satisfied
Beautiful bowling center i love it nice and clean service very friendly
Pool table or bar was closed when I arrived. I watched people throw the bowling ball down the alley. They had a lot of information printed out so you really didn't need to ask any questions.
A pretty average bowling alley, game prices are a little steep though.
they added a cosmic bowling deal, but it wasn't really cosmic bowling. no lights. no music unless paid for.. no servers on the lanes and the bar is slow
I like the alley typical family bowling alley with a couple extra features nothing spectacular and young teen staff so okay customer service but always enjoy going here
Nice size, plenty of lanes and pleasant staff.
Had a great time bowling for my friend's birthday. Girl working the front counter did a great job. Would've given higher if the snack bar hadn't been so lackluster.
Fun spot... They have a 2hr special in Friday and Saturday!
Nice place. Kids have fun but expensive at times
BEWARE!!!! THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS A WASTE OF YOUR MONEY!!! This establishment does not even deserve one star, but I had to give them something to be able to leave a review. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS PLACE!!! Took an 8 year old there, who had never bowled before, just over the height requirement and they would not put the bumpers up. When asked, I was told “No exceptions! Height requirement is 54”. If you went to RAFB, bumpers are only available for children under 7”. Front desk clerk and day shift manager, Lisa, is as RUDE as can be!!!!! Employee named Chris is RUDE & has no customer service skills. Played nothing but foul music with explicit language. Spent $84.53 on the “pizza party”, which consisted of shoe rental for 6, two hours of bowling and a VERY SOGGY one topping pizza. As we were leaving, I read the sign again and it clearly stated bumpers could only be used for anyone under 54” or only when using a 6 pound ball. I asked once more to clarify and was told, “anyone over 54” is not allowed to use a 6 pound ball!” I don’t think an eight year old can handle much bigger than a 6 pound ball and it should be the choice of the paying customer as to what size ball the child chooses and is comfortable with!!! What was planned as a day of fun for 4 children, all age 8, was ruined by a bunch of inconsiderate and EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF!! I recommend going to Rigby’s since they will put bumpers up for anyone under the age of 12, if requested!
There are a lot of bowling balls to choose from. And there pizza is good. It is a good place to go with friends.
WE LOVE THIS PLACE
Great place for bowling with family and friends
Nice place..will go back
The company has taken the fun out of bowling.
Friendly staff. Not overly busy but plenty of people bowling.
Great food. Good drinks. Prices are a little high. Brest with a party or family. Down side no music 1 dollar songs.
Always have fun here
Website and sign on door both stated they closed at 11pm. Was going to try and get a game in quick to hang out and pass the time. Doors were locked at 9:45pm. If you advertise a close time, that should be when you close, not earlier.
I enjoyed bowling here it's just food price was way to high
Great pizza, great people and great bowling! Go and have fun!
Went here for a birthday but it was okay...the food was mediocre...
These guys are excellent. They are always on top of any problems with the lane, and they are always friendly. I've been going here since before the remodel about 10 years ago. It's always been a great place. Be sure to join the leagues. You'll find all of them have people who aren't there for any reason other than to have fun. The competition is there, but it's not in your face and cruel Go...now... you'll have a good time.
Birthday party for my son, good times
The kids enjoyed it. Took a 12 year old and a 7 year old. They both enjoyed bowling, they had a good time in the arcade, and they loved the concession stand food. Also, the cashier when we paid for our bowling overcharged me by mistake and I didn't catch it. Instead, she came to our lane, apologized, gave me my 12 dollars back, and then was INCREDIBLY accommodating to our kids when they obnoxiously begged for change for a 10 because the arcade change machine wouldn't take it. Older alley, might benefit from a few updates, but the service from the whole staff was exceptional.
Nice staff and clean facility. Great onion rings! I wish the computer screens that show pins and best shot worked. Some do and some don't.
Great atmosphere, good music. The only thing is when it's crowded the food service is slow.
Needs better manger. Staff could be better
One of the few good places to have family fun in Warner Robins
My experience bowling there has been exceptional. The customer service skills are phenomenal. I have a great time with every visit. To the Monday night staff, I see no need to “check yourself”, and by the way I was there on a Monday night and the special was great, had a blast, and the young lady at the desk was very helpful and sweet and a far cry from “lip smacking, eye-rolling” rude. Keep up the good work Gold Cup.
Dissapointed with the food bar, went there multiple times to get drinks, and wanted food but nobody was there either time to serve me, had to go through the front desk to get assistance, the guy doing the front counter had to go search for the people working the food bar nowhere to be found. The service was so bad I asked the guy up front their names, will not come back if Katherine or Richard is working on Wednesday ever again. It was just unprofessional.
Never been bowling before but it's fun for my first time I'll be coming here more often
I had a great time at Gold Cup Bowling Center. The people working there was very nice and very helpful. I will go again
Great for family fun! Not too expensive. We have 6 people in our family and paid $45. So cheaper than anywhere else in this town! The night time glow in the dark is fun and the bar and snacks are great and reasonably priced! way nicer than the one in macon
We had a great time the atmosphere was great as well. We will be going back again.
Needs some updates.. But it's nice
A little pricy, but fun.
BOTH KIDS & GROWN UPS HAD FUN AT KID PARTY. FOOD WAS GOOD TOO.
Terrible experience, my group of 6 arrived 1hr and 10 mins before midnight on a Thursday night. Nonetheless the bowling alley closed at midnight. Needless to mention but the hours of operation were posted on the windows. The doors where locked and they had a party of 3 already inside and the worker as well as management instructed them not to open the doors for us. Then the worker came and told us that the manager instructed them to lock the doors and not let anyone in. If anyone knows the least about business 6 people paying would bring the company money . The code of ethics this night was unsatisfactory and they should be held accountable. Horrible experience. Even at this very moment there official site says open. Hope this gets to corporate 3/14/19
Your place is pretty bad. I don't think you want costumers. What is the purpose of having a snack and drink area when all your employees do is just stare and not provide a service. I know getting a drink is difficult but maybe a little training will help
No issues friendly staff very clean and advanced what more could you want
Loved it just had a birthday party there nice environment
We took our 3 kids and one of the friends to go bowling here. We put in there names and started the game. We asked the attendant to put up the rails because our kids don't know how to bowl yet and they were just there to have fun. The attendant would not put up the rails due to "height restrictions". We asked for our money back so we could go to another bowling alley. We were only given a partial refund due to one child rolled one frame. We had to get the manger to give us a full refund.
Good place for bowling, clean and the shoes are generally in good condition. Priced along the same lines as other lanes in the city. Not the most modern bowling alley around.
Great family fun place. Always clean and well staffed. My only suggestion is that they change out to automatic entry doors!
It's a very nice place to come bowl if you ever want to come down to one or robins and go bowling
What a great place. The employees were very courtious and they made us feel at home. The bowling was cheaper then most places and just a fun atmosphere.
Good, clean place. Great pizza too!
Reasonable prices, snack bar, beer, two games+one free this weekend. Lots of lanes. Had to move to a new lane one time for a malfunction in our lane.
Great place to have some fun bowling with family or friends on the weekends.
It's a really nice facility! People are friendly-- lots of space for the children to bowl ! It's much nicer than rigbys and feels so much safer!
suck at bowling but I enjoy the atmosphere. very friendly!
Great place for family and friends to enjoy...
Great pizza and chicken wings
I came to the 9-12 unlimited bowling ... I paid50$. I got to bowl for 1 hour then the machine started counting down. I’m highly ticked off. I’ve wasted 50$. Then when I asked the “manger” girl what was going on she smacked her lips at me ... and rolled her eyes at me. She needs to check herself. This is ridiculous i will NOT ever be returning !
Really like this place.
Had a great time bowling today. Everything worked well and employees were helpful.
New year's Eve came out for family fun! They didn't allow one of my children to have bumpers do to her height. Think that is completely rediculous the fact you have height requirements for bumpers. She's a beginner bowler and under the age of 12. Won't be coming back
Awesome fun for the kids.
It was a good bowling center pretty big every thing worked nice staff was friendly
Really liked this bowling alley. Perfect for a family. Floors could do with a steam clean and bathrooms an update, but we will return again. Had a great time!
Had a great time. Service was great. Very well taken care of.
Clean environment! Fun place to hang out for a friendly competition of bowling.
Great place to bowl.
The only thing I would change is the soap dispensers. Those things take forever to get enough soap to clean your hands.
Clean environment friendly staff
My son's class enjoyed bowling! Love this place!
Good music, clean environment, nice staff, professional..... after 10 its lights off, party vibes
I always have a good time here. Just wish they would update
Great family fun! Wish there were more specials offered, but overall it's worth the money even at peak times. Food isn't the best and takes a little while.
Always have fun when I go to the bowling alley staff is very nice and music is great the lights are great especially at night time when they turn them off and the Lanes light up
It was very nice but pricey
Fun clean nice friendly staff Equipment worked fine no problems
Great family place and I have lots of fun here!!!!
Hosted youth bowling state tournament and did a nice job. Staff was friendly and the center itself was clean and well maintained.
I like to bowl alone while I'm learning and it was empty written I arrived at 1100. I will be going again with friends. Fifty lanes and they are all handicap accessible. They need new rental shoes, other that I will be back
Very reasonable prices. Friendly people! Family oriented. Had fun
Nice bowling center. Very large and open. 50 lanes. If you come before 6pm on Friday, get buy 2 get 1 free games. Food is decent (pizza, chicken, burgers, hotdogs, nachos, etc.). There is a bar with a few pool tables. Has decent alcohol selection. Staff is friendly... Usually staff is young high school/college age workers. They have league play on some week nights. See pictures.
We went bowling on a sunday evening, and there was no one there, which just made it more fun. I loved the pizza, but it was covered in grease, so some might not.
Very clean and had a great time bowling with family and friends.
Best prices for bowling in town, believe me I have compared. Also their bar prices are $4.00 for a jack and coke. At Ridgbys you are looking at 11.00.
Had a great time throwing gutter balls
Terrible experience.... Went for a family night of bowling with my kids who are 9 and 10.... Asked for bumpers for the kids... After bowling an entire game and just beginning a second (paid) game, we were asked to verify my 10 year olds height... WHY?? Supposedly you are required to be a certain height, which he was, but seriously, why does it matter what height OR age you are?? If you want to use bumpers, you are paying regular price and you are not in a league, WHY would it matter?? I would NEVER recommend ANYONE patronize this business establishment!
Had 2 Experiences, one positive and one negative at this facility. Positive experience: My first visit - went as a group of 3 on a Tuesday. Paid around 30$ for 2.5 hours for all 3 of us. No problems with the lanes or staff etc. The concessions were a little slow; however, that could be a result of them not being busy. Negative experience: Second visit, the Friday following the first visit. Went as a group of 4. Paid almost 75$ for 2 hours of play. We spent 15+ minutes waiting in line to pay. The staff member working the register was stuck in that position all night putting people on lanes. I felt sorry for the guy. Only saw 3 people on staff all night. After paying we had several issues. The lane fouled us twice without reason. I then spent 10 minutes waiting to be assisted at which point the staff turned the foul function off. After that we had issues with pins resetting incorrectly. Spent several more minutes waiting on staff to rectify this issue. We were put on a lane directly next to us which occasionally showed the same issues including failing to track the score/count pins correctly. When the nightbowling began, these two lanes in particular lacked the lights that all but a few of the 50 open lanes had. The jukebox/music player is a nightmare and you may be waiting 30+ minutes on a selected song to play. Good luck finding a ball of appropriate size/weight. Anything size 9 or below 9/10 times will be small holes. My party had this issue, not so much myself, finally to top off this extremely frustrating experience our game was cut short by the timer. This is the only bowling alley I know that will end your game in the middle of play because of time restrictions, this might not have been so frustrating had we not spent nearly 30 minutes trying to rectify issues with the lanes. Every other alley I have been to (including the Goldcup on Pio Nono in Macon) allows you to start games up until your time runs out; after time runs out you finish your game and then leave. That is not the case here. There is NO REASON for that not to be the case here. TL;DR understaffed, overpriced, as a result of my second experience I have no intentions of bowling here again.
Kind of.....late?? Its not modern.
