HORRIBLE Birthday Experience I reserved a room at Galaxy Bowling for my daughter’s 10 birthday. The overall experience couldn’t have been worse. Upon arriving at the bowling alley for the party, I was told our room was still getting ready. However, after a few minutes, I was told that the previous guests still weren’t done. I really don’t understand this, because we were told each party gets the room for an hour and half. Did they not space the parties apart???? So, we were moved to the arcade room, where there is absolutely NO privacy - other bowlers were constantly coming in and out, playing games and using the restroom. Also, the kids are now crying to play every game in the room. SO not what I intended. Also, the party package here that I purchased here is supposed to include decorations. On the phone I was told there would be streamers and all sorts of decor. The one and only decoration we received was a green tablecloth. That was it. No balloons or anything. When the pizza was finally brought out, it was not even close to being hot, and was basically identical to a frozen pizza. After finishing eating, we were ready to start the bowling part of the party. However, no lanes were even open for us. I had asked the lady at the counter earlier if she could hold just one alley for us (after all, we are a reserved, paying party), and she told me she would “lose revenue” if she held one for us. After FINALLY getting moved around several times, we obtained a lane. However, when my daughter and her friends went to the counter to get their shoes, the staff was SO incredibly rude that they almost made her cry. As I mentioned earlier, the experience simply couldn’t have been worse. Even after all of this, I was not even offered the slightest discount. It was a very stressful experience, and I have never felt so cheated in my entire life. I can promise that I (along with all of the birthday guests and their families) will ever visit this bowling alley again. Despite getting ripped off, the worse part was probably that the party wasn't what my daughter was promised by the staff, which was extremely upsetting. What was supposed to be a special day was turned into a train wreck.

Used to live up here and it's a night and day difference to what this place has become under new management. They did a good bit of remodeling and decor to clean up the building and give it a good vibe. Has specials all throughout the week. Only reason I couldn't give 5 stars is because the bowling balls didn't seem to have the weight on it which our group found weird and they could add more variation to their food and drink selection to compare better to other bowling alleys.

The bowling was great. They abused their right to play country music. If any other music came on, they immediately changed it back to country. Who comes to late night bowling with the disco lights to listen to country music non stop? I'm not hating on country music, but this was painful. The nachos and cheese were cold. Friendly staff, great facility but myself and my crew were disappointed.

We hadnt bowled in years so thought we would give it a try.... we had a great time! It was clean and the people were very nice and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We also played air hockey in the game room. Laughed like we were kids again... we will be doing this again

I have been going to Galaxy Bowling for over 10 years, my husband longer than that. We have never had an issue until today. We both have our own shoes and bowling balls. When we went to pay, we were charged for shoe rental. After realizing we were over charged, my husband told the woman behind the counter we brought our own shoes. She became VERY rude with us informing us we should have told her before she rung us up. We told her we mentioned it when we came in and didn't think to mention it again because we are ALWAYS asked. She became even snottier with us and had NO intention us refunding us until the owner walked up. She then shoved the money at my husband and told him, "HERE is your refund for the shoes. Next time, say something before I ring you up." We will not be returning.

This place is really good and awesome! Can't wait till I can go there again. The arcade games are awesome. but one of them is broken. You know the one where the ball comes up you don't get the ball when you put the change in. So stay away from that game. Can you (the owners) please fix it? But it was the most awesomest place I ever went. I cant wait to Again it is so cool and awesome I can't wait to come there again. That was written by my 7 year old son. This bowling ally is a great place to take the family and you can't beat the price. Be sure to download the app for kids free bowling. For 3 kids(with the kids free app) and 3 adults we payed less than 35 bucks for 2 games. They have cheaper rates on Wednesdays and Sundays. Enjoy!

We had a great time bowling here. If you have kidsdownload the kids bowl free app and they are well free of course. They have a deal that's bowl 3 games for 12 dollars a person and includes the shoe rental which is pretty good and the free kid was even better. Didn't eat any food so I couldn't tell you how the food is. At 9 o'clock they break out the light show or Galaxy bowling what ever it's called. Great for a night out with the family.

Wow! I would highly recommend this place for any type of party. We just had a private Christmas party for our company and they knocked out of the ballpark! About 80 or so in attendance, kids and adults. They had the place ready for us when we arrived, kept the food coming, and were as nice, as could be all the around! Our employees and their families had a great time bowling, playing pool, playing arcade games and just socializing in a clean, beautiful and friendly atmosphere. Thank you again Galaxy Bowling employees you did a great job !!

We always have a fun time here! We typically go on Wednesday or Sunday when games are discounted. Or, if we pay full price, we go after 9PM for night bowling. The lanes are well cared for and the staff is helpful. There is a concession stand with food if you get hungry, and an area to play arcade games or billiards.

Great Bowling Alley. This is a great family place to bowl. I am a Senior and bowl at Galaxy two times a week. The facility is always clean, the staff friendly and the bowling lanes well maintained. In the winter I bowl in Griffin, Ga. and that facility is terrible. Blairsville should count their blessings for a clean, fun and well maintained place to bowl.

Kind staff took care of getting everything started. Prices are extremely cheap. On certain days of the week. The atmosphere is rather clean. Young high schoolers and college students go often so it can get robust and sometimes overwhelming.
