The place is really nice. However, getting a lane can sometimes be difficult and it is pricey. The food is excellent - for a bowling alley - and the bar is way better than you'd expect. They have craft beer, cocktails and decent wines. Not just the Miller and bud light you might expect at a bowling alley. Overall its lots of fun for adults and kids. Just understand it will set you back more than the average bowling alley.

I had a horrible experience. I brought my family there to celebrate my sons 12 birthday. we sat down to eat food and I decided to bring my own food since i have Allergy sensitivities. While I was eating my food the waiter told me I had to either leave or throw away my food because they do not allow any foods to be brought in. I spoke to the manager Debra Martinez and she was also had no consideration of my food allergies and told me I had to leave if not to throw away my food. On top of this while im talking with her all the Food my family had ordered had arrived to the table. I told the manager I did not know about brining in food since there is no signs or no one told me. She still insisted and demanded me to leave the premises. I told her then that we were there to celebrate my sons birthday. So she cancelled the order and told us to leave. I cant believe Splitsville would do that. I told her that I would not come again to that bowling alley just because of the way they treated us. They do not have good service at all. Beware people.

We went for bowling on a Friday evening around 7:30p and waited about 35 minutes for our lane. The place is overall good although we didn’t eat or drink while we bowled. For two people, two games and shoes cost around $40 for less than an hour. We had fun but seemed pretty expensive.

I’m giving 2 starts instead of 1 based in previous experiences which where not great but for the most part good, today we had a really bad experience with out waitress emily, I would say this is the worst treatment a received in my life or nearly the worst at most; she was rude and cocky like she was doing a favor by servicing the table; by someone that has been in hospitality and costumer service for years and not only me but my husband as well I can tell you it was awful, to the point of not leaving any tip which we NEVER DO even if the service is mediocre we understand you make your money out of tips and we usually tip very good but this time it was unacceptable.

Arrived just before 10 on a Tuesday to eat (website says they’re open until midnight) and was told by the hostess that it was self seating. We sat down, waited 10 min for a waitress to come by and tell us that the kitchen was closed. When I inquired about how the website said they’re open until midnight she said the venue was but that they decide when to close the kitchen, whenever they think people are done ordering... who has ever heard of something that insane? Closing the kitchen 15 min early is one thing but TWO HOURS EARLY?! Never again.

The place is good but the manager is inconsiderate and disrespectful i was playing pool with my friends 3 couples consuming food and alcohol and after 1 hour of consuming they told us that we have to go cause there was another group waiting. We had told the guy in the front that we were going to play the whole night the money wasn’t the issue the manager (ruben) says that we have to wait for the other group to finish and then play . He didn’t give us any reason why. We where there only 1 hour the bill was 200 bucks.

Splitsville is exactly what you'd expect from a bawling ally - a dark and dreary facility with a greasy restaurant/bar. The bowling facility is a bit aging but acceptable. They offer about a dozen lanes and can get very busy at times. The shoes they give out are old and worn but OK. The service at the front desk is slow and not efficient but compared to the food service they are a dream... The restaurant offers an assortment of unrelated foods - from Sushi to French-fries. Don't get your hopes up when ordering food there - the prices are not insane but high in relation to what you actually get (if the service ever gets it out...) In general it is a nice family-fun place but get your food elsewhere.

It was okay, food was served cold (who wants to eat cold loaded fries?) And since we had kids with us, we were kicked out by 10 eventhough we had paid for two games. That wouldn't have bugged me if they had offered a refund right away but we had to ask for the refund for the game we didnt bowl. Even then, the attitude of the staff was a bit salty. So never again on a Friday if with family. Not family friendly on the weekends.

What a first impression! It's 10pm and I just rented a bowling lane for my family. All we wanted and needed was to order dinner and have a great time. But that was not the case. So it happens that the waitress told us that kitchen was closed, that all they had was pizza and Sushi. I requested to speak to a manager since on their website it says that it's open until 12am and it displays an extensive Menu. To make the story short yeah the Manager confirmed that kitchen was close because since it was slow they decided to close kitchen 2 hours before. This is clearly false advertisement. So I suggest that of you like to be spontaneous like I do, you are going to have to call ahead and ask if kitchen is still open since you can't really trust the hours posted on their website or google.

My son’s end of school party was here. The place was understaff and the service was extremely slow. I chose not to open a tab and to pay on consumption. In spite of this, they charged me $26 by mistake. It was mission impossible to have them remove the charge. All I got was "its only a holding on your card" (again, I never opened a tap)..."the charge will disappear" I tried by all means to ensure they reversed it and after long arguments and back and forth an employee said “I promise you will see the reversed charged by midnight”. He wrote a note. I am still waiting. I lost $26. driving there to argue is worthless. but by all means THIS IS STEALING. Very bad experience. Incompetent employees that treat customers as if they are ignorants. It's simple "you charge by mistake, you credit" there is not such thing by midnight it will disappear. I am sure nobody walks out owing them money. Why should a customer leave when they are the ones owning?

It took me over 6 years to write this review. I am not the one to sit down and share my experiences that much but only when I am really motivated is when I do: Splitsville south miami has been our go-to spot for me and my wife for years and years. We love the food, atmosphere and most importantly, the service. We love to sit down at the bar by the entrance and wait for our movie. Recently, we moved to Orlando. As regulars, introduced my brother who lives there to splitsville by going to the one at Disney Springs. It was quite disappointing. One of our favorite items, the crab ragoon sushi is nowhere to be found, the Sam Adams draft was not perfectly cold and crisp and service... don’t get me started. They have their hands full it seems. I told my wife, let’s go to the one in Miami when we go down there next time and see if our spot changed. We finally made our way back and thankfully everything is just how we remembered. Thank God. Splitsville: Whatever is going on in South Miami, needs to be noticed and replicated. Food is consistently delicious, staff is always on point and the venue is amazingly kept. They are located at a dying mall nevertheless, they keep kicking ASS! We will keep going there.

Visited Saturday, July 28th 2019. I was in a large group. We ordered drinks while we waiting for our bowling lanes. On the second round, my gf mentioned to the bartender that her drink tasted strange from the first. He tried to dismiss the comment. We had to insists he replace the drink. He displayed very poor bar etiquette & customer service. He seemed very unhappy & should probably look for another job. I later saw how they were cleaning the glasses and was appalled at the process. No wonder the drink tasted strange. Once at our bowling lanes we come to find they were defective. The balls wouldn't role back and the bumpers had to be physically installed & permanently fixed throughout the entire night (not a huge deal for us). The staff was quick to respond to these issues however our waitress seemed non-existent throughout the night. We still had a great time, however, this review could've easily been a 4 star if not for the lack of customer service at the main bar. I really hope they turns it around.

Nice venue to kick back and have drinks and get a few games of bowling in. Food was okay, nothing to complain over, but also nothing to die for. Same with drinks. This place is more so WHO you're with when you're there. My only gripe is that our bowling lane had a balancing issue. Lane 14 has an edge on the right side that will cause your ball to bounce right off of it as if you were using the assist rails. Other than that, it's a very chill environment that you can enjoy a pretty decent hangout.

This place was the biggest disappointment ever. They were understaffed, so after waiting 30 minutes for a server, the guy that finally waited on us was overwhelmed and complained the whole time that it was supposed to be his day off and it was his kid's birthday and he didn't want to be at work.. The "service" he provided really reflected that. He started out by forgetting drinks, then attempting to pick a fly or something out of a soda until he noticed that we were watching him before getting a new one. He forgot to put in my food order, so the rest of our group finished eating before I got a bite. Our friend was served a drink in a dirty glass with lipstick all over it, and it was NOT comped off the check. And because the server knew that we were unhappy, he also made sure to add an automatic gratuity. The lanes were terrible and kept breaking.. the pins wouldn't reset, the balls wouldn't come back, the scoreboard wouldn't register pins that did fall. The shoes were old and broken and the bottoms were sticky, making it very easy to trip and fall. We left before finishing the 2 games we paid for, and will never be back. Don't waste your time and money here!

This planned trip was annoying because the first lane kept cutting off and they had to fix it each time. Then they moved us to the second lane where the ball kept getting stuck. Then eventually they moved us to the 3rd lane and it was okay. But by this time, I was aggravated. The manager was nice about the whole situation. He offered my son a free icee and he offered a free game for us. Thankfully this made my son very happy because I was ready to walk out the door.

I've been here several times and it's not really for someone who likes to bowl. The lanes aren't well maintained so the have slopes and it's hard to get a great score. If you're going for a night out they do have good food and great drinks. Also, be aware that they frequently have long waits so it's best plan ahead for that.

The food was ok, nothing out of this world. At first glance the atmosphere feels welcoming. My friends and I decided on this place for a night out to have fun. There was about an hour and a half wait for a bowling lane, which wasn't a big deal. We sat down at the bar to start with drinks. It's important to note that although a bartender or server are nice doesn't mean they provide good service. I felt our bartender Keith was nice and seemed to be making an effort but getting prompt service was like pulling teeth. I put in an order for sliders and fries. They delivered only the sliders and I waited far more than an extra 30 min for the fries. The sliders would've been cold had I waited. I actually had to close out my tab since our lane was open and paid for the fries but yet hadn't received them. Jump to bowling. The lanes are uneven and our sever Lihla was even worse. She too was nice and finally got my fries, but liked to back talk. She had response for everything we ordered. These responses were not sure no problem as they should. None of us entered and gave her attitude so I'm not sure why she was that way. I'm lucky I have friends that can have fun in every situation because this place was terrible. Stay away!

I came here with some friends and the service was absolutely fantastic. Nice people that help you out, topped off with delicious food and fun bowling. The food is decently priced ($12 for a super tuna sushi roll and about $10 for gourmet burgers) and so are the games for bowling. We were helped by Jessy at their spacious tables and she did a great job at making sure everything was out on time and correct. Highly recommended place. Totally going back!

I go here mainly for the fun atmosphere, sushi and drinks. They have great sushi chefs that wont disappoint. My favorite is the fried bagel roll and the salmon roll. Culinary design is on point! You can also order WIDE variety of drinks and shots. Get creative! The drinks are NOT watered down! ;)

Please be careful. Servers at Splitsville Miami will overcharge you and literally steal your money. Went there to celebrate my Fathers birthday and we were overcharged by our server Antonio M. We were having drinks and asked for doubles, well he decided to charge us for triples. When asked why he did that, his response is that's the way all the on the rocks drinks are charged. Then to make matters worse he overcharged our credit cards and not by a few dollars. Somehow the portion of the bill we paid in cash never got applied. I guess the cash disappeared into his pocket. To make matters worse, he went back and charged our credit cards again for more money. So not only does he committ credit card fraud he also steals your cash. The manager on duty tried to fix the issue but was never able to offer an explanation for the server doing all of these things and failed to mention she had to reverse those second charges that we weren't yet aware he had charged. The moral to this long story is splitsville hires crooks as servers. Beware of Antonio M if you do choose to go. Something needs to be done about this man blatantly stealing from the customers. Shame on you Splitsville for allowing this to happen in your establishment!

Customer Service is definitely lacking, we got kicked off our lane when we tried to extend our time and followed what the prompt said to do to extend our time. Also they tried to call us to let us know our lane was ready and our phone did not work in the building. The manager said many carriers do not work there so why have that system in the first place. Lanes do not seem very even which does not give you a good game.

Good for a big group and overall had fun. Shoes were clean and Velcro. Could use some alcohol dispensers to clean hands. Seating was nice. Seemed good for family and kids. Pool tables were available as well.
