Somewhat limited menu. Food was good, but took FOREVER to get. Server was hard to locate and again, long wait for drinks. A bit pricey for chicken. I will try someplace else next time I visit the area.

The French fries are golden. The French fries + sauce = amazing. The nachos are not that great (Cold and stale) but the drinks do hit the spot and that is what a restaurant in this location has to shoot for.

It was very nice and relaxing. This place is clean and has friendly workers. They have different games you can play with your friends. They have many bowling lanes but only 2 pool tables. They have these sliders that are delicious and a pretty big size.

Years ago, Splitsville was an upscale bowling alley with a bar and some mediocre food. Hadn't been in a long time, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that it's been renovated and revamped and is now better described as a Southern-inspired restaurant with a few bowling lanes and other games. It's a fun place, and my funky chicken sandwich was pretty much delicious. Good times.

Nice lunch with relatives. This was first day open for lunch. Had a special salad that had so many items in it. There was bacon,avacados,chicken,nuts. The salad was huge. It was fresh too. Husband had pepperoni pizza and said it was good. Would go back again when in channel side. Bowling alley in the restaurant.

This was my first time visiting here and I've been living in Tampa for 10 years. I did not bowl but I just went there to eat. From the looks of it the lines seemed small but if you have a family this is a great spot for a family day out. The food was very filling. I could have just order one meal and split it and would have been fine. The prices were reasonable and the service was great. I recommend this place to everyone and it's a possibility I may come back again.

Food wasn't that good in my opinion. It may be what I ordered because my date dish was better but I did get sick the next day as well. My food caused me to be on the toilet most of the day and be nauseous. It is two days later and I'm still feeling bad. Gave two stars instead of one because my date food was fine although she didn't like her drink either.

Love the remodeled look. It's like a gentlemens fraternity meets an upscale cigar lounge. Great drinks cool vibes #nightlife at it's best. Get there early or reserve a lane a day earlier if you want to bowl.

Great food! I had the Chicken Little with the since of mashed potatoes. Chicken is extra crispy, flavorful, and moist. The potatoes were really buttery and whipped. Definitely would order it again. Doesn't get 5 stars because it is inside of a bowling alley so it can get really loud at times.

We stopped on our way to a concert. The atmosphere was welcome and fun. I have a good allergy and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that there was no cross contamination for me- more than I’ve ever had at any restaurant. The food was amazing. We got chicken tenders, Mac and cheese and fries. And our drinks were made perfect! 10/10 recommend!

Horrible place to even consider eating here. They say they're winner for fried chicken. Should say winner for stale chicken. Tasteless. Poor service. Best to stay away from this place for food at least. Just get drinks & play bowling. Do yourself a favor - dont eat here. Ordered some of their so called best selling items. I wonder if their most popular items are this bad how are the not so popular items!! The food looks really good but, taste as if they forgot to put flavor in it.

Was there for a work function so I believe it was a limited menu. The staff is nice but the closeness of the bowling lanes and the tables at least on lanes 11 and 12 make bowling a little tricky. They have added a few new games like bocce ball since I was last there. Overall it's nice but just okay nice, make sense?

I went here a couple years ago. Went on a weekend and the place was dead. I got denied entry because I had a tank top on. I went to another place to buy a t shirt so I could bowl. The place isn't great for bowling or food and their Elitist dress code is silly. No wonder people never went here. If you want to bowl, go to a real bowling alley. If you want good food, go to a good restaurant. A dress code for a bowling alley that isn't busy is just stupid.

Food was not that great. There were little people there and took a long time for a server to come and take our order and even longer for our food to come out. We ordered their variety donuts as a dessert and caused both myself and boyfriend to have food poisoning. Do not recommend coming here. Only good thing was the water and getting out of the heat

BEST PLACE FOR EVERYTHING! Games galore here. They have everything from ski ball, foosball, bowling shuffleboard even feather bowling. Some of the games are free to play and others u have to pay hourly. The drinks were sub par the lime juice in most of the drinks are over bearing so I'd stay clear of that next time , but you can definitely spend all day here. I highly recommend it for kids and adults. Everyone will have a good time here for sure! If your in channelside you should most certainly check out this spot!

The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is because there's not very much shade or cool areas (especially when there are lots of people there). It gets super hot during the summer and can be quite miserable in the heat/direct sun. However, the food is good and the beer (and beer selection) is nice.

So much fun! There are different kinds of bowling to try. Feather bowling was my favorite. You need to try. :) Ping pong, darts and of course traditional bowling. Great music! Food is outstanding, the servers are so friendly and the drinks always have fresh squeezed juice and top shelf liquor. My first choice for a celebration or night out.

We have gone here a couple of times now for someone's birthday. The food is pretty good but the real highlight is the drinks. They pour heavy and make sure you get your moneys worth. Its a great atmosphere for a night out. Definitely recommend for a drink and some bowling with friends.

Ate there for lunch today. The food was pretty good. I had the Chicken with the Cheddar Biscuit and homemade pickles and a side which I picked fries. The Cheddar Biscuit was dry, however, and not very flavorful. Red Lobster's are way better. We also ordered Pizza at our table and Chicken tenders. The pizza was a good size and value. Service could have been better considering I went pretty long without a tea refill. Getting there is a chore with all the construction but I would try it again.

Was having a good time, until we wanted to play one more game. Went to add one more game and they told us it was going to be 1.5 hr wait, even though we are already on a lane. Look around and can count 5 lanes that are currently not in use, including the one that we are still sitting at waiting for our food and finishing our drinks. Not going to be returning.

Great Atmosphere on a Saturday night! Poor service ! Food not so great. They changed the menu ! Fries are not seasoned, chicken wings have been removed from the menu! I saw my waiter once to take my order for drinks & once to take my order for food. My drink was never refilled. At the end of the night right before giving me my check, the waiter tells me there is gratuity added in automatically when there is a group of 6 or more ! I should have been told that from the beginning ! An if gratuity was going to be added in automatically, the waiter should have given better service to earn that gratuity ! Not sure if I am ever coming back! The new management or owner needs to train their employees to serve better as well as let customers know up front that they are adding in gratuity automatically if it is a group of 6 or more ! An take off “suggested tip” on the the check because it’s not ” suggested” . Spoke to the supervisor Charles he was nice and calmed me and the rest of the group down, so we paid the gratuity, however I probably won’t be back.

The food that we had was amazing (i had the spicy honey chicken biscuit sliders with mac n cheese), drinks were good and the atmosphere is pretty cool too! They only have 12 lanes, so its not a traditional bowling alley. With that being said, if you are a somewhat decent bowler, the lanes are not oiled very well, if at all. We spent 42 dollars on 6 games and did not really enjoy it at all.

I eat here a couple weeks ago and i got the donuts and a burger me and my girlfriend got sick after i was getting sick for a couple hours the burger was good but NEVER get the donuts because that is what got us sick

My boyfriend and I were at the aquarium and decided to get something to eat and stumbled upon this place. It was quiet when we first walked in and the bartender Brittney(spelling) was extremely prompt. She was personable and friendly. We ordered food and once it came out, everything looked amazing. My boyfriends food was really delicious. Mine looked amazing but once I tried it, it was luke-warm. Britney asked how it was and I told her it was slightly cold. She removed my entree immediately and got her manager involved. Two minutes later Chris the manager on duty came over and apologized. I said it was fine but he insisted on having a new entree prepared for me. He also told us he was going to buy a round of drinks for us. I usually don’t leave reviews but being in the industry a lot of managers don’t follow up with tables or bar guests if there’s a problem. My boyfriend and I were thoroughly impressed with the professionalism we experienced today. We will definitely be returning. It’s a cool place. We played pool for two hours after. Great place overall.

Tried to reserve some lanes for a group of people, called them and emailed to reserve and was told everything was ok. Days later I was emailed a CONTRACT and needed to provide a Credit Card authorization letter to RESERVE A LANE TO GO BOWLING. When I asked about this they told me that they mentioned this (Bold faced Lie). Who requires a contract to go Bowling.

If I were rating our server Dalton, I’d give 5 stars. This is a clear example of great servers holding the restaurant together while negligent managers throw all of that hard work away. Paid for an hour of pool while waiting for a bowling lane only to have our game of pool cut short. Then when we try to pay for more bowling we get kicked out of that too for 7 other customers in the wait list that need to be called. I’d go somewhere else next time.

Some pluses but many minuses here. The games and vibe are fun, but the service was very slow on a not-too- busy night. The food was okay, but that’s a big disappointment when the chef is a 2 time James Beard Award winner. They have a limited menu so they should be able to excel at it. They don’t. Biscuits are dry. Fried chicken is dry. Their supposed fabulous French fries are ordinary. Not sure I’d go back.

Ok food. Slow service. Went before a hockey game. Seated quickly, ordered within five minutes, waited well over 30 minutes for food. Waitress did not return during that time, we had to wave her down for drink refills once, then again to ask about our dinner. The table next to us were seated a few minutes after us and had eaten and were paying their check before our meal arrived. Seems there was a table number mix up and our plates were likely sitting in the kitchen for quite some time. We were wearing Lightning jerseys and obviously going to the game, 7:30 start, arrived at 6:30, food came to table at 7:14. Disappointing that no one seemed to notice or care. The blackened chicken sandwich lacked spice-it was just plain grilled chicken. The fried chicken was good, although the bottom was soggy from sitting under the heat lamp. Portion was small for the price- it's not a full breast, more the size of a chicken strip, with lots of breading. The mac and cheese was watery and bland. The biscuit, house chips and pickles were...ok. We really enjoyed the food at the Disney springs restaurant, and will maybe try this one again in the future.

Just back after the remodel. It looks great and the staff seems to be really on top of everything. The rates for games are really reasonable and the drinks were great. I haven't tried the food yet, but it looked nice. Looking forward to returning soon.

I really enjoy bowling here but I wish they had other activities like jumbo Jenga or giant beer pong (not messy - just a ball with red empty trash cans). These additional activities would be a huge hit and low cost to the management. Not many places offer these additional activities in Tampa. Please consider.

Nice afternoon of bowling, food and fun. Great venue, smoke-free, and friendly staff. Pizza is tasty and lots of craft beers to choose from for imbibing while playing a round or two or three, and the scores get better the more you play. Pool tables allow for billiards experts or novices to try their hand. Great family fun or get together with friends or coworkers.

I've been to this location a couple times before. My family was in town over the weekend and they have never been. We checked online and it said Midnight that they close, so we had plenty of time. We arrived at 10pm. We decided to play some pool first, grab drinks & food. It took 35 mins for someone to wait on us. I walked over 3 times to ask for a server. All 3 times was told that someone was coming. Finally got our server just to tell us that last call on the kitchen that they were closing!??. 11pm gets here and we decided to play another game that our food & drinks havent arrived yet. But then we are told that they are closing due to it being slow night. Slow night? We paid well over $100 to play 1 game, food and drinks and we had to play the waiting game. They even added their own gratuity to the bill. I was very disappointed. Especially this being my families first visit.

Art Smith should be ashamed to have his impecable reputation connected to this disaster. Went there before thetLightning game last night. Food was mediocre at best and service was HORRIFIC. 1 hour and 10 minutes from the time the first person of 5 got their food until the last person did. Server said "We bring food out a little at a time here".??????. Will not be going back to Art Smith restaurants anytime soon.

The hubby and I stopped in for a quick bite before a concert. The place was packed, and we were told there was a 30 min wait. We opted to sit at the bar to order since we were on a time limit. Our seats were ready in 20, but we had already ordered so we declined and stayed at the bar. Food was surprisingly great. I got the nachos and subbed chicken for the beef (way too much for one person) and the hubby had a chicken sandwich. Said it was one of the best he'd had. Knocked a star off because they forgot to put our order in and the people next to us sat down after us and got their meals long before we did :(

I have been to Splitsville before and after the remodel. Before, the inside was very dated and musty. The inside looks much better now and is catering to to the new Sparkman Wharf vibe. I was able to go to the soft opening to test everything out and I was very pleased with what I saw. The variety of games throughout made it easy to stay for hours. Unfortunately, when I went back this weekend I did not feel the same. The majority of the side games cost money. This wouldn't be a deal breaker except for the prices to play said games were too high. As a result, I saw most of these games (ping pong, pool, bocce ball, etc) remain empty the majority of the time. Still a cool place to hang out and be social!

Great service (thank you Dalton!), good food & drinks. Management is the reason I will never come back. We were told we could not continue bowling or eat the food we ordered at the lanes even though others had visibly done the same, and other lanes had been vacant for a good hour. We were moved from our lane and taken to a side table to eat without our consent.The regional manager is an absolute coward who deemed it appropriate to blame our wonderful server for the issues we encountered, on New Years Eve no less! If the manager could fathom taking responsibility for his shoddy decision-making, maybe he could get this place to scrape two stars to rub together.

Absolutely horrible management. The fact that you cannot replay a game when you have a table already at a lane and have to go back on a waiting list is absolutely ridiculous. This place has exactly two things going for it, bowling and pool. If a group of seven wants to go a second round of bowling and you won’t let them even though they just started their first game is ridiculous. Figure it out and get your business in order or you’ll go the route of the rest of this shopping plaza and go out of business. The management and customer service blows. The only good aspect is Dalton, the server. He’s great, go there only for him, but not for a single other aspect.

It's a very nice place, with friendly staff, lots of bowling action, and good food. However, the reason I have given this business a 4 star rating is because the prices are ATROCIOUS. $80 for 2 games? That's madness!!! Other than that, if you have enough money to come here, definitely do so!

Food was good, but the restaurant was not very child friendly. They have high chairs, but it seemed all the tables were way to high to even accommodate them. Brought the baby into the bathroom to change them and there were no changing stations in the men's or women's bathroom.

I normally love Splitsville, but this experience was disappointing. We had reservations for a lane but they were so disorganized that we got to our lane 15 minutes late. They gave us a broken lane that could only have bumpers up or down even though we had our kids with us. The bumpers weren't the only broken part of the lane. The ball return and pin setter frequently quit working during our games. The server was nice and the ranch dressing on my salad was awesome...but everything was kind of meh....

Very bad experience.... our server and waiver Dalton was amazing but the management was an utter joke. I went out with my work team to play at Splitsville, we played one game of bowling. We decided we wanted to play another game and they told us that we had to go back on the waiting list even though the 2 lanes next to us were empty for about an hour and a half!!!... even though we had already waited for almost an hour for a spot. Our whole party was willing to pay for 2 maybe 3 More games and they decided not to even let us play the games. We were told by management that we needed to move tables to eat even though everyone who was bowling with us was eating at the same tables...... we were literally told we couldn’t eat at the bowling lanes..... literally as the other bowlers were eating at the lanes.... makes absolutely zero sense. Management then came over and told us we were moving never asked us to move just kicked us off of our lane. We also payed for an hour of Pool and wasn’t given our hour back for Pool! Absolute horse trash. Last time!!! I ever come here, let alone even recommend it to the rest of my company.

Had a great time. We were celebrating a birthday and our area was set up on time and ready to go. Service was very attentive and friendly. Didn't really have a wide variety of food while i was there so I'll save that for another review. No drafts to choose from...which is a bummer, but they have numerous choices in a can and a full liquor bar.. Ordered a Moosehead for nostalgia's sake and it was ice cold and tasted great. Looking forward to a return trip and a more detailed food review.

Very disappointed in our experience here. Our group wanted to bowl and was told there was an hour and a half wait, so we were added to the wait list and decided to play pool (which they charge for by the hour so we paid for an hour). 20 min into our pool game we were told that our lane was available and we needed to come over so we wouldn’t lose it. We then moved all our drinks over to the bowling lane. We ordered pizza and some fries, but we finished our game before it arrived so we asked to play another round. We were told we couldn’t because they were on a wait, although two other lanes were open right next to us. We asked to speak to a manager and they told us there was nothing they could do and that we once again had to move all our drinks and the pizza that had just arrived to another table. This is a silly way to run things. You had people there ready to go and pay for another round and yet we weren’t allowed because of a wait that was so terribly important that the lanes sat empty so long. Seriously???? In all of this our server Dalton was awesome and we really appreciated him, but we are very displeased with the way this business is run. Could be a lot of fun with the right management.
