Let me start off with I am not a bowler but we had gone to watch my nephew practice and participate in the Special Olympics. This place did an amazing job. We watched a few weeks of the practice and ate while we were there the food was very good and the staff was very friendly and helpful with everyone. The Special Olympics opening day looked very busy but the way they handled so many people and bowlers was amazing. The bowling alley is always clean and spotless. If I did bowl I would definitely bowl here all the time. Loved the decor and atmosphere. Its also very nice to see them go above and beyond to help our town and county by sponsoring Special Olympics and the handicap.

As a first timer, we were not well informed by the workers. I had to constantly ask question which should have been told upon arrival. We loved how she stopped our game on the 5th frame. Its ok though still had fun. The staff needs to be lil more welcoming or at least pretend.

Bowling is great! Brings kids and parents together without video games! Prices aren’t bad... food is pretty good for a bowling alley.... we ordered a pizza, wings and chicken fingers... chicken fingers with fries was $10 alone... upgraded to a medium fry and it was very small... but the alley was well kept and the kids had a good time! And in the end, that’s really all that matters

Came all the way from sebring. They had no lanes available because they had a field trip of 255 kids coming. It was so frustrating. I get it. It's about business, but you should still have lanes available other than that. Very disappointed. Also, decided to go to the cafe to grab lunch , the woman had the worst attitude, like she hates her job. I'll NEVER make this drive again.

Had a great time, staff was very nice. A bit crowded when we went but was unaware of what time was the busiest. Typical bar/concession stand food but not bad. Used a Groupon which worked out really good. Overall was a really fun time. It's nice to disconnect for awhile and this a great way to do that.

This is a great place. Clean. Modern. Well lit. Plenty of space. Not the bowling alley from when you grew up. It is an awesome place. My family and I go for an hour or two once or twice a month and we have a blast every time. Our first experience was in Feb 2018 for our little one's birthday party. It too was awesome and the staff was great. By the way, Cypress Lanes has the BEST chicken wings in Polk County. Try them. You'll see...

I understand that it's Sunday and I'm not against people and religion. But all they played was Jesus music the whole time. There is a lot of other music variety to play other than force that on us. I like to bowl to fun upbeat songs. Not to mention the staff is not very friendly . I wasn't impressed to be honest. I haven't went bowling there in years and I now remember why.

Came for Crusin the Coast and thought we would bowl a few games. Had to wait for someone to come to the desk, and they were rude and put us on the worst lane in the alley!! Then they kept watching us like we were going to steal something. We are a retired couple just trying to enjoy our retirement!! Last year we thought this alley rocked, but now I doubt we will ever spend time or money here.

I loved day time bowling, it was awesome, but at night is so much more awesome. They turn on the blue light, so wear white or a color that will high light. It will look really cool. They serve pizza, burgers etc...... There is a bar inside if your just in need of some quite time.

I NEVER write reviews.. however, Last Night, a group of friends, 6 to be exact went to Cypress lanes We arrived around 8:35. Bowled for an hour then went back up around 9:35 to pay for another hour bowling. At that time the guy told me I had to wait at the lane until 10PM because of the cosmic bowling special. Cool. So at 10:00 I go back to the desk to pay. At that time, probably 30 people were in line waiting. The gentleman at the counter told me that I would have to get behind the other 30 people in line. Even though I had been there since 8:30 and waiting to pay again since 9:45 because they couldn’t ring me up until 10 PM. It was completely unprofessional. Wouldn’t it have made more sense to just keep the customer on the lane they have been on where all of our stuff was, food , drink.. everything?

Cypress Lanes was hosting the Special Olympics area games. They were fabulous hosts to over 250 bowlers. There was the normal confusion on getting things going, but the staff at CL took everything in stride and the event was flawless. Hats off to the owners for their commitment to SO and to the wonderful staff for creating such a memorable experience.

I used to come here a lot I high school and they have renovated the place since then. It's always clean and the staff are super friendly. Food service is a tad slow but I was pretty impressed for only having what seemed like one person run the kitchen. They could probably use an extra person on Fri/Sat nights.

We went for a summer field trip. Lana Jo was superbly helpful and very friendly. She went out of her way to ensure that our group was taken care of. In addition, the pizza was tasteful and the popcorn was delicious! So of our youth had a wonderful time!

This bowling alley was a random stop for my family and it exceeded our expectations. We went in hoping to play for a couple hours, but saw a sign featuring a deal for 5 players. The deal was about 50 bucks for 5 players to play 90 minutes worth of bowling, and it included some money to play at their arcades. We ended up doing that and the whole family was thoroughly satisfied with the purchase. The staff was incredibly helpful even when they had multiple people talking to them. I cannot wait to come back.

I love bowling, however the staff at night time is so busy talking amongst theirselves they have no time for customers. To start my night I waited 15 minutes just to pay for my lane, and there was only one person ahead of me.... We waited for ten minutes while the cashier was standing at his register chatting. And any time during the night I went to the concession stand people would be lining up, with 5 people working and no one being waited on. I hope a manager will step in and make sure their employees know they are working and it isn't the time for socializing.

Cypress Lanes is a great place to bring your family. There is literally something here for everyone. Bowling, arcade games, alcohol bar, snack bar large screen TVs are just some of the things you can do here. There is also a trampoline attraction attached to Cypress. The place gets crowded on weekends and the costs are reasonable. I purchased a Margarita from the bar for $5 and the cup was very large for the price.

The facility is nice enough, but didn't like that they charge by the hour instead of by the game. We were 4 bowlers and just barely got in 2 games within the allotted time. We felt way too rushed and the not experience was not at all enjoyable. We had no time to run down to the bar or even go to the restroom because we were on the clock. Bowling is supposed to be fun and laid back, but not this place!! Find another place to bowl if you want to take your time and have fun with your friends!

Truly a coast best kept secret! My wife and I bowled played pool enjoyed the best Bloody Mary's we've ever had! All in one building!! The barkeep was exceptional and the food was spot on everything we ordered sample platter fried mushrooms cheese fries and jalapeno poppers what a delicious meal and we only spent fifty bucks.. I would have given it 5 stars...but the lanes do tend to break a little more often than I would like! It's cool that they offer a Groupon deal. You get a pizza and drinks with bowling, shoe rental and 2 hours of play time. The pizza is ok... the mozzarella sticks are pretty good. Drinks are definitely over priced! But for a bowling alley, that's what to expect. They have a lot of events that go on here so sometimes it's hard to find a lane. But it is a great atmosphere and the staff are pretty awesome. We try to go every 3 months or so.

I went to Cypress Lanes specifically to have a new bowling ball drilled by Vernon Peterson, 1996 US amateur bowling champ. Why?...because in my experience most alley pro shops don't really care if you get fitted so you can throw your best...nor do they seem to want to take the time to answer questions or do any education about tech aspects...Vernon was professional, and encouraged questions, I threw 2+ games worth of balls while he watched, made necessary minor adjustment. Additionally Vernon put my info into his data base, and now all I have to do is call him and order a ball and it will arrive on my doorstep in the future ready to ROLL...Great to feel like a valued customer after one meeting! Thank you Vernon!

Cypress Lanes has a very large well-maintained bowling alley. however there's not much else it has an arcade that is very small, It has a nice bar and food counter with reasonable prices and that's about it. Over all a good place to hang with friends in your free time.

The staff of here an mullet hop are horrible. My 2 year old cant play in the arcade for kids running her over. An the staff could have cared less said there was nothing they could do about kids running through the arcade.

I love this place. I was in the area visiting a friend. We had the best time bowling and hanging around at the bar. Tiffany was my bartender and she did super wonderful with mixing drinks. The food was great and very fresh. It was hot when it was given to me. I actually can't wait to visit again.

The staff us usually on point.... we happened to be there a couple weeks ago and there was a snafu with our food order and lane.... the manager was quick to accommodate and made things right without the typical route of excuses.... Great price compared to other bowling alleys. We come all the way down from wiggins to bowl here. $25.00 even for 2 games and shoes on a Monday is a deal in my opinion. And not to mention the fun for the little ones. Plus a bar and grill as well as a trampoline park and a daiquiri shop connected where you can walk between makes for a great date spot for the adults as well as an adventure for the kids.

Went there for bowling and to drink with my buddies. The staff for bowling were very helpful and polite. The bartender on the other hand, (I forgot her name, she’s Caucasian, she looks like she’s in her late 40s, with a lovely southern accent), was very rude to everyone in general, when customers would ask her for things such as a new glass, she would answer back in a condescending tone. My buddy and I still gave her 15% tip each. The management should do something about this. People go in there to have fun and she brings the vibe down by treating them poorly.

Terrible place to bowl on sunday. Brown haired young lady Jayce was SO RUDE. Music was religiously bias. The Jesus music overbearing. Almost brainwashing. Youll see what I mean on a sunday around 2pm. Its 2018, not all people or families go to church or believe in that particular religion. Very dissatisfied with customer service. Couldn't wait for hour to be up to leave.

This place was very clean and well maintained. They charge $20 per hour to bowl, excluding the nearly $4 for shoe rental. The price seems a bit excessive as you apparently cannot pay by the game anymore. The staff was very nice, the pizza was mediocre and the music wasn't obnoxiously loud. All in all, if you do not bowl regularly, this is a good place for fun with family or friends.

I was happy with the staff and the whole bowling experience and I am a huge fan of the air hockey game. It was working but the scoreboard wasn't. I played anyway. (The next time we went it was repaired) It's certainly not the cheapest bowling alley I've been to but my son absolutely Loves the arcade and I absolutely love that boy. We will make sure that we don't go on a weekend though. There was a loud and vulgar argument in the parking lot and I waited until they left but as we passed the group by the door it was clear that they had no qualms about using horrible language in the presence of a child. None of which is the fault of the bowling alley. The arcade was packed and we had to ask the teenagers if they would please let me play the air hockey game with my son as there was about 8 of them using it for a seat. The only thing I would like to suggest to the bowling alley establishment is to monitor the arcade area on nights when the teenaged population is out in force. The young black kids were very rude and acted as though they were in charge and I had no business asking them to move from the games that they were crowding around or sitting on but definitely Not playing. I spend a good deal of money especially in the arcade and I don't like to have these kids disrespect me and make my son nervous. The staff is nice to us and we usually have a great time. I guess I will be going on the weeknights until the start of school. I'm going to be sure that I take my 6'4" husband with us to make sure that I am taken seriously by these people who are used to speaking with horrible language when there are small children all around.
