For a family, this can be a little pricey, however it's still a good place to go as a treat once in a while. Most people don't bother talking to you, even if their lane is beside yours. You cannot wear your regular shoes, so if you don't have your own bowling shoes, you will have to rent a pair for everyone participating. They have a small arcade that doesn't offer tickets to earn for prizes and a couple claw machines with stuff that's hard to win inside. A large soda is a little over $4 and comes with unlimited refills.

Lanes are well maintained, scoring machines are recent technology, & shoes are new. Large selection of bowling balls & well respected pro on site. Snack bar is decent - pricey but great service.

The staff and General Manager Josh went above and beyond to make my daughters 8th birthday amazing. Our server Wollie was very nice and helpful. They provided everything we needed for the party. This place has gotten worse and worse over the years. It used to be a pretty good place years ago to bowl at a good price, get decent food, maybe play some pool but now things are just ridiculous. The facility itself isn't particularly the cleanest, they charge random shoe prices every time you go whether it is a special or not. My husband bought a beer and they charged my credit card 3 times for 1 beer and refused to do anything about it. If you want to play pool now they want to charge you 18 cents a minute AND keep your credit card on file. After triple charging me for one drink needless to say I didn't want to give them free reign over my credit card. It used to be put 4 quarters in the pool table and there's your game. A lot simpler. Probably why no one was in there playing when there always used to be because no one wants to do that. If you are bowling and your ball gets stuck or you need any assistance with your lane, you'll be waiting forever to no avail. If you order food even on a slow night it takes forever. Over an hour for a pretzel? Come on, don't even want it anymore at that rate. You would think they are premade and just need to be heated. Most of the time anyone in the kitchen and bar just sits there mingling when you stand there waiting to be served. They'll look at you and just carry on with their conversation. I wish we had another bowling alley in Ocala but sadly we're stuck with this place.

Pro: Full bar and food. Clean newer shoes, all electronic scoring. Summer specials worthwhile if you live nearby. Con: Pricing way more than I expected but I haven't bowled in 5 years. Inexperienced staff, must have high turnover @ bowling area and bar/ food.

They advertise that they open at 10 am. Five of us arrived only to find out they weren't going to open until12. A person came outside and told us we would not get a lane until 330 due to a party. Very unfriendly dirty looking with a ciggereet hanging out of his mouth. There were 6 others that had already left. We probably will not go back.

This bowling alley has terrible employees. They will shut down your lane while their friends get to play longer. Misty ignores her customers while she conversates and flirts with men at the counter. Paige makes sure your lane gets turned off because she’s ready to go home at the end of her shift way over 30 mins before the establishment closes for the night. If you plan to go after 11pm do yourself a favor and go to another bowling alley.

I have bowled league for a good many years at the amf on Maricamp. The one time I go to this bowling alley, my friends and family have the worst experience at a bowling alley that could be imagined. The employees are rude and inexperienced. To the point that it took 45 minutes to get 2 shots, a bucket of beer and 1 mixed drink from the bar start to finish. The people in charge of starting the lanes took an hour and a half to get the lanes started for the Friday night bowling. Just overall I think that amf should evaluate their staff a little bit. Maybe people could enjoy bowling again.

The music you play is horrible it is not all about kids.My wife and I are on a league every Tuesday starting in October glad you dont play that music than.But we bought the season pass and were going every Sunday and they play that music say corporate wants them to play that music and nothing they can do.

Its a decent alley. The staff is nice and the snack bar is really tasty. A lot of families bowl here so the big down point is that there is often issue with sticking on the approach due to stepping in something wet if you leave the bowling circle

Way too expensive for everything. Spent 20$ on two drinks from the bar. Bought my 14 year old a large pop which cost 5$. For the amount of money I spent, it was 10 minutes until.close, when we asked to play one last game, they should of honored their guests that were inside. ESPECIALLY FOR THE AMOUNT OF MONEY WE SPENT! Will never return to this bowling alley again.

It definately bothered us, with half the alley wide open, they put 2 families directly on both sides of us after we started played 2 games and left. Pool is by the minute. And the food it outrageously expensive. Not the same lanes I grew up on.

This is your typical bowling alley. Clean, family friendly, lots of tables. Bring there only for my kids, I could do without the bar in one room, but we liked the slightly over-priced concessions area, and there is a small arcade as well.

Had a group event here for my daughter’s end of the year school party. Nick and Debbie were amazing to work with. Made it unbelievably simple and fun. Everything went off without a hitch and we will absolutely consider having more group events and just simple family outings again in the future. Can’t recommend these guys enough.

Great experience, great prices. The whole family had fun. Only a little complaint that the food bar/ bar was completely understaffed. Just one employee on a Sunday evening. It took 1hr and a half to receive all our food items. Instead of all the items being prepared at the same time they were prepared over the period of time. This location should hire more more help. The kitchen/ cook was awesome and completely overworked. He maintained composer although being slammed with food orders and loud, complaining impatient customers. He should be given a raise.

Gone downhill more and more over the years. They don't do the bowling pricing how they used to. You used to be able to go anyday and get a shoe rental and 2 hours bowling for about $13 per person and now it's a charge per game and shoes. If you want food there forget it, by the time you get it you'll probably be done bowling. My wife ordered a pretzel once and there wasn't many people there and waited for 40 minutes and went to the stand to ask about it and it's like they forgot and then it took another 20. Each of the pool tables there has its own issues. Whether one doesn't deposit the balls or only some balls. They have darts but if you ask for the darts they're all broken so they wouldn't stick even if you wanted to play. They don't have enough variety in sizes of the ball as for quantity. It seems difficult to find any ball except a 10 or 11lb one most of the time. The staff is usually apathetic or rude. Especially if you need assistance with something. Not very helpful or cheery at all.

I go to the East lanes a lot and when I went to the West lanes tonight, I was sadly disappointed with the service. The lane got stuck and my friends and I waited 20 minutes and I had to go back up to the counter and it was finally fixed. The man at the counter Stanley L. was just on his phone while me and my friends waited 20 minutes. We requested a lane change, after it got stuck again, and were denied. We finally got a new lane after our previous got stuck for a 3rd time. When we finally got our new one we requested our custom bowling balls back and Stanley was rude about it telling us that “I already told the mechanic and you’ll get them.” And the last thing was we got our lanes shut off at 10:30 during the Monday Mayhem special. It’s supposed to be from 8-11 but they stopped us at 10:30. The website clearly says Monday Mayhem goes from 8-closing which is 11.

Nice enough bowling alley. There is no polish on the floor up to the fowl line so you can't slide at all. I also wish their program for scoring was a different one. I prefer the one that shows you which pins are down and which are left. It's just a personal preference for me as I am nearsighted. A little music would be nice. Overall it's a good place to bowl. I will return.

This is a great place to blow off steam and have a great time with friends or family. The food is not the best. But a bowling alley is not known for their food. The staff are very nice and fun. There is a league store on site that sells equipment as well.

No snack machine, no chips behind the snack bar, but... you can buy a small fry for $5.59. I have NEVER bowled 3 games and left with filthy dirty hands, to say the least about my balls. We had had 8 beers, and spent $47.00, including a $7.00 tip. *yeah, the bar tender was great!

If I could give less than a 1 star I would. This place has gone down hill. Walked in Saturday afternoon to shoot some pool...no one acknowledged us. We sat at the bar for almost 10min before someone came by in passing to ask if we had been helped. We decided to order a round of drinks. (2 drinks to be exact) they were crown and cokes. They had no pint glasses...only wine glasses. The lady who took our order stated she never has made drinks before and had absolutely no idea what she was doing. We had to have her add ICE to the cups!! They were so weak all we could taste was soda. $12 later...we left the drinks and just decided to leave. Should have gotten our money back. The staff there is absolutely rude and they have no customer service. If your looking to shoot pool and have actually good drinks go to downtown billards in the ocala square. We got 2 drinks more for the same price AMF charges. Especially during happy hour from 1pm-7pm and you can get pool half priced. Definitely worth it.

Worst experience I have ever had. Went bowling with my husband for the first time here after friends of ours went. Was charged over $110 for just bowling not including the two pitchers of beer we got for $30. We tried to speak to management about being overcharged and we also contacted corporate who could do nothing for us. I have recorded all conversations that I had with corporate and each bowling center that I spoke too. Both Ocala bowling centers said that they’re pricing was the same and that we were overcharged. But still corporate did nothing to give us any kind of refund. The management was so rude (Jen) to us and told us that they were going to contact the cops if we did not leave the building. I’m now in contact with my lawyer and filing a lawsuit against Corp! Amp sucks wouldn’t reccommensd to anyone.
