A great house to bowl at. Nice synthetic lanes and approaches. Only downside is I wish there was more of those wonderful lanes. Also easy to get to being loacated on rt 40. I highly recommend joining a league at wood lanes. !

The entire building needs mold remediation. It is a major health risk to children and immune compromised adults and my children were affected during the short amount of time they spent there. It has not always been like this, but this time was like walking into a water damaged foreclosure home.

Don't know of any place I'd rather bowl than at Wood Lanes. The staff are ALL very friendly & helpful, esp' the owner Steve who goes out of his way to ensure you have a good time. Their food is always available & as tasty as any I've ever had at any other alley. ProShop is well equipped & I'm very pleased with the items I've purchased from them. All & all a great place to relax & enjoy bowling.

I LOVE Wood lanes. Always have, always will. Steve the manager/owner always makes you feel right at home, just as his father Barry (the other owner). The lanes are great shape and they have a newer computer scoring system. Also had a bowling ball worked on in their pro shop. The pro-shop guy, Hannibal Ross, with 20+ years bowling ball experience, did a terrific job, and for a very reasonable price!! Thanks!!!!!!!!!

This place has been a home away from home, me and my best friend have always come here to hang out on weekends. It’s a healthy environment where I get to have fun and spend time with my friends. The staff have been welcoming and kind to me since the day I started bowling here. I haven’t found a single bowling ally anywhere near as good as this one. Thanks woodlanes! :)

I would call this bowling alley quaint and homie. The staff are all friendly, and based on management's response to reviews, they seem to care as well! Dollar bowling on Sunday nights is a steal in this day and age. Their regular week pricing is comparable to Brunswick lanes and what have you. Both times I have been the lanes have been decently oiled. The second time I went (last night), I was on lane 3 from like 7:40 PM to 8:30 PM and the lane itself was having issues (hence the 4 stars). I had to reset the pins after just about every strike as there were no pins to be seen for the next frame. Also, my balls got stuck several times which greatly impacted my bowling experience having to throw my back up ball and spare ball as my strike ball was stuck in lala land.

Drove all the way over from Wilmington, De on a Sunday to bowl their $1 game special. I will absolutely never step foot in that place again. I have never seen a dryer lane in my life. The lanes where absolutely burnt and I’m talking impossibly dry. The heads where so fried that as soon as you released the ball it was hooking and to top it all off, all of that oil was pushed down to the backend, further complicating things. I understand I only paid $1 a game but one would expect a bowling center to at least have some oil on the lanes. It’s a shame had hopes for this place and would have loved to bowl every Sunday there.

We were treated rudely from the moment we walked in....we were a large group of Co-Ed 6th grade athletes and we were told we could finish our game with a 1 hour lane rental...there were 20 open lanes at least....they shut our lane down for our 6th grade group in the 8th frame...also the pizzas took FOREVER ...and the rude server dropped one of the pizzas on its face and was pissed that she had to give our money back...the place is dirty and poorly run...the outside looks like an abandoned warehouse...save your money and go to a movie...

Worst place I’ve ever been in. In my whole life. It may not have cost much, but I can promise it isn’t even worth the price. I’m outraged. The mechanics were giving all the wrong points when they didn’t even get the correct pins down. I’m taking my $9.89 elsewhere. Also, the staff is incredibly homophobic. INCREDEBLY HOMOPHOBIC! Even tho I’m pretty sure one of them hit on me....

I have been going to wood lanes on a frequent basis for over 5 years. The staff and I have all become friends and going there is always something I look forward to in the week. The food is great and it is a great way to get away from the stress and annoyances of every day life. I recommend wood lanes to all bowlers looking for good lanes as well as families looking for a nice way to spend time together
