Ordered the garlic white pizza, the everything pizza, calamari and drinks. Very disappointed! Enjoyed bowling and the yard but ALL the food was SALTY! Asked for Merlot and she poured something else. The waiting time for the food was almost an hour! The yard saved this rating from being a "1"!!!

Great time! On Sundays, they offer B1G1 free from 8 to 11 PM, so I came out with my girlfriend to BOWL! Not even Kingpin could keep up with us... The lanes are located very close together and soft comfy lounge chairs circumvent the actual bowling hub. If you go in large groups make sure you reserve two lanes next each other because otherwise will be sharing a large couch with other strangers. The bartenders a very friendly and Wala you to bring drinks to the seated bowling area. If you get tired with bowling, there's also a cozy arcade area with plenty of old pinball machines and classic games like donkey Kong. They're also two billiard tables and a few race car driving games. Even though they're only 16 lanes in the entire bowling area, you certainly don't feel cramped with what is offered. Make it out if you even have a few hours to kill, you'll have a blast!

First time there and it was the worst experience I’ve had at any establishment I’ve been to. We were told the wait was an hr for a bowling lane and after waiting 1hr and 30mins we were told there’s 7 people ahead of us and there we’re a couple lanes that were open and not used. So I wasted 1hr and 30mins sitting around just to find out it’s going to be longer then what I was told the wait time was.

I was here for the first time to attend a wedding reception. It was absolutely amazing. The staff was awesome and very friendly. The lanes were great. Lots of arcade games. We will be back to bowl again, what a great place.

This has been my spot for a while now. Great people, great place, great atmosphere and the food and drinks are delicious and reasonably priced. Great hangout for a date with the wife or a family outing. Overall 5 stars for sure.

Hands down horrible customer service! Great scenery and pricing, however much work and coaching needs to be done when it comes to dealing with customers here at the establishment. As a result I will never return to this place neither will I recommend it. Sorry not my money. Provided below is a picture of the very rude staff who took it upon himself to be very rude to myself and friends! Never again.

UPDATE! After emailing South Bowl customer support, they said they would give me a free game, including shoe rentals, for six people as compensation for the horrible way their staff treated my family and I. I was told to contact them anytime to claim my free game, and then they would set everything up for me before I arrive at South Bowl. However, when I contacted them saying that I was going to be attending South Bowl for my free game; they never got back to me. This was about a month ago, and they still have not got back to me. South Bowl is a horribly run business and they need to reassess themselves. TLDR - Mike is a scumbag human. Waitress is a liar, but did the right thing. Manager lacks basic human interaction skills and seemed uncaring. My family and I were bowling for no longer than five minutes, when we noticed the balls were getting stuck. We contacted the front desk, and they sent Mike, who we later find out is a complete scumbag, over to fix the lane. After he pushed the balls through, he came over to us and blames us for clogging up the balls. We then told him that those balls were there already, as there were about ten balls clogging the machine. In disbelief he responded, "I'm not a mind reader" in such a rude manner. He then made a miserable face and walked away. He is scum. Our waitress who was standing there , right next to me, heard a good bit of what he said to my mother and father. My father then asked her if she heard what he said, and she said no. I began laughing hysterically when she said that, as she was clearly telling a lie. Our waitress was a liar, but she was the only one who actually apologized and did the right thing by sending over the manager. The waitress sent over the "manager" if you want to call him that. This man walked over, and looked like some dude they pulled from some random lane to come over and talk to us. He looked miserable as well, and didn't even introduce himself as the manger. Actually he leaned up against the wall, and just stared at my parents while they told him what happened. As far as I know, there was not even an apology from him about what his horrendous employee said to my parents. He seemed to not give a flying hoot about what had just happened. All in all, this was the worst experience I had bowling. My family and I will probably not ever be attending South Bowl again, and will just drive over to Jersey like we were originally going to.

Southbowl from the folks that brought us Northbowl! This bowling alley can get packed and when it does it watch out, the staff seems to not handle it very well! Luckily, it’s bowling so it can’t get that bad! The alleys are great, they are roomy and clean. The food is good especially being a bowling alley, stick with what they do best, pizza, tater tots and sandwiches! The servers ask to hold credit cards the last two times I’ve been in (while bowling at our lane) and I specifically told them both I’d be paying cash yet when I asked for the check they both rang it up on my card prior to bringing the check to us! I’m not sure why they think it’s ok to run a card on a bill you haven’t seen but ill be refusing to give my card again.

We visit this place quite often. Usually a 5 star place, but how embarrassed was I bringing my whole family on Thanksgiving break to recievce the moist rude service from the girl at the front counter. The front counter needs more help n she needed a better attitude. She made is feel like we shouldn't even be there. I will be back and update my comment as I know they can do better.

I took my grandchildren to South Bowl for an afternoon activity on a hot July day. The bowling alley was clean, had automated scoring, a snack bar and light balls for young children. The prices are very reasonable. My only criticism, the rental shoes were uncomfortable (for me). If you’re looking for an inexpensive activity, South Bowl will fill the bill. PS We had fun with the bowlers in the next lane!

Nice place. Kind of hipster compared to the average Delco lanes where I get cheap senior rates. Drink prices are reasonable, and they have a two game limit when people are waiting. That's actually a really nice policy, but be forewarned if you expected to bowl all day during a prime time. Oily lanes, but well-maintained. Modern scoreboards. Bowlers can tend to be noisy families with screaming kids during daytime weekend hours.

Disappointed. We chose South Bowl over North Bowl last Saturday night and regretted it. Staff seened indifferent & disinterested, music spun by dj was outdated and so loud that it was inpossibke to talk to anyone even yourself. We planned l to have a few drinks and snacks in bar area before we bowled but music made our heads hurt down within a few minutes after we sat . The bartender had no idea what a perfect margarita was and there is very few options available for tequila actually all liquor it was slim pickings and the sparse liquor available was of middle quality. I'm not sure of the overall selection of beer but I know they didn't have Corona! One saving grace was the bowling kanes ns seating area was great and we ahared ours with a really cool couple

South Bowl is a pretty vintage yet trendy place. Besides bowling, there's pool and a few arcade games. The food and drink options are easy to navigate through and there's something for everybody. For anyone going with a large group, make sure your ENTIRE group is there or you will not be able to get your lanes. They also have the entire group pay together instead of doing individual people. Overall great staff, and a fun environment.

The atmosphere is awesome, but the service is terrible. Arrived to find out they only take cash, and was charged a $3 atm fee to get the cash. Overpriced food that we waited for for hours, and rude staff. We went with a large group and in the confusion of trying to split the bill was jipped by $20, we didn’t realize until after we had left that we overpaid. Like I said, the atmosphere is cool but I won’t be coming here again.

Soooo much fun!!! What a fresh take on a classic pastime. Nice bar with a wide selection of craft beer and mixed drinks. Eat and play! Fantastic menu full of shareable (or not) bites with a twist on wings to tacos &taters. They have a brick oven pizza area (which we have yet to try) and a couple of nice billiard tables as well. Great atmosphere. Love this place!

It has several bowling alleys, pool tables, video games as well as upstairs where there's a lounge and bowling alleys. You can have a private party upstairs. I enjoyed bowling, however the bleach blonde waitress ( sorry, don't know her name) was SO slow. After bowling, we went to the bar. The bartender (female) took my order at 12:15 and then TOOK HER TIME delivering my drink. It took twenty nine minutes to get my drink and another seventeen minutes to get the check. I'd like to mention she serviced the Caucasian customers with expediency and attentiveness. At the end of my transaction she told me it was $17.50 and I gave her a $20 bill. She gave me $2.25 back and I asked for my quarter. She made a face and asked, "Oh, you want your quarter back?" I responded "Yes". She then replied, "Really, you want your quarter? I then said, " The interaction for this drink was long." She was very sarcastic and said, "Oh, okay, let me get you your QUARTER." Then she placed it on the counter and said "HERE'S YOUR QUARTER." Here's the thing: I am always a GREAT tipper although even the service industry workers want more than what God commands (10℅). I used to make tips for a living so I get it!!! However, this bartender not only sucked but was also rude and entitled. Sure, it was ONLY a quarter. But what does it tell you if I won't (not can't) even leave that? Do better.

Came in not knowing what I wanted. Sat at the bar and was immediately told that it would be a few minutes from the bar tender, Stephanie. She had other patrons and was the only one behind the bar. After a few minutes, she came over and was polite, attentive and even suggested a few drinks. (All which I enjoyed) All in all. An enjoyable experience and good drinks.

From the owner to the staff to the food and facilities - the full spectrum all around a great spot. Have had events and attended events there that were awesome. Kid friendly until the evening when it's adults only. Like a lot of newer bowling alleys it is not cheap but you get what you pay for. Check out the sister property North Bowl also. Highly recommend.

We hosted our wedding in the upstairs lounge at South Bowl and it was simply wonderful! The event day staff were so cheerful, helpful and professional. The preparations for the big day were an ease, thanks to the Sales & Events Manager. The South Bowl staff took care of details that I wouldn't have even thought of and made use of the space in a way that was so adaptive and perfect for our event. I can do nothing be sing the praises of the South Bowl facility and staff!

My bestfriend and I were looking for a cute spot for a Friday night and ended up at South Bowl compliments of a Google search. The atmosphere is very chill. We started at the bar with intentions to bowl and met the bar keeps for the night, Shaunna and Stephanie. THEY WERE DOPE! We ended up not even bowling having a good time talking to them and trying out different menu items with their suggestion. Even when the traffic picked up, they were attentive to the new founded crowd and to us, not only giving service with a smile but good energy!! I'll be back so see them and I might even bowl next time! Thanks for an awesome night ladies!

This review is for The yard. Few weeks ago my sons baseball team won the championship and we decided to go there after to celebrate. The manager came over and congratulated all the kids and rewarded then all with batting tokens. I personally take my son here alot and never had a bad experience. Only thing is sometimes the machines are off but they fix them on the spot and give you your token back.

I visited south bowl for a birthday party. The event was held upstairs by the bowling lanes. However, during the event my arm grazed a pipe next to the bowling lanes and I heard the skin on my arm sizzle. The pipe burned the skin on my arm. I did not notice the severity that same night, however the following day it began to bubble and was filled with fluid (plasma). I was kind enough not to seek legal action and was extremely polite and informative over the phone. In the future if someone has had bodily injury or harm done to them at your place of business, empathy goes a LONG way. Please be aware of this pipe (it’s a silver pipe that runs from the ceiling to the floor). I guarded others that night from injuring themselves. You’re welcome.

Great place to go on a date, or just hang with the crew. The prices for the food, bowling and shooting pool are all reasonable. Will definitely be back for another night of fun!

This review is for The yard. Few weeks ago my sons baseball team won the championship and we decided to go there after to celebrate. The manager came over and congratulated all the kids and rewarded then all with batting tokens. I personally take my son here alot and never had a bad experience. Only thing is sometimes the machines are off but they fix them on the spot and give you your token back.

I visited south bowl for a birthday party. The event was held upstairs by the bowling lanes. However, during the event my arm grazed a pipe next to the bowling lanes and I heard the skin on my arm sizzle. The pipe burned the skin on my arm. I did not notice the severity that same night, however the following day it began to bubble and was filled with fluid (plasma). 11/29/2018 Update I spoke with both Mariah (events coordinator) and Leemore (Co-Owner) and they were both GREAT! Both of them were very receptive with the situation and responded quickly. They took the situation very seriously and showed true concern with how the bartender treated me. It's unfortunate that the bartender showed and continued to show her not so good character with lying in her statement when she was asked about what happened. Leemore openly told me what the bartender wrote about the situation and then we discussed what had actually occurred that night. I feel bad that this had to happen in such a great place that clearly has great owners and employees. There was a true lack of communication, a lot of rudeness and obvious sneakiness that the bartender displayed that night and try to lie about in her statement. Leemore really wanted to make this situation right and asked if she could give our money back or anything else. She also told me to email her the next time I come so she could reserve lanes and give us the first round of drinks. I told Leemore that the only thing I wanted was to help prevent this kind of situation from happening again. She told me that she was going to speak with the bartender about her actions and how to communicate properly with customers. I truly hope the bartender takes this to heart and learns/grows from it. 5 starts to Leemore and Mariah. I hope my negative experience creates a positive ripple effect for SB's customer service. 11/25/2018 Very poor experience!! Very sad since I was really excited to go here! I was there for the first time last night for a class reunion and was flagged after my 2nd beverage for unknown reasons. My friend and I took a break from bowling and went to order 2 cucumber vodkas with soda and a lime. Exact words that came out of my mouth “May I have two cucumber vodkas with club and a lime”. The blonde bar tender (with the ponytail) returned with 2 cranberry clubs and handed me a full alcoholic priced bill. My friend and I waited waited for 20 minutes to ask her for the correct drink unaware that I was “flagged”. And when she finally stopped ignoring us she said that I ordered a cranberry vodka soda and that I was wrong. It was my third drink at the place and I knew exactly what I ordered and how I ordered it. She was completely rude and incapable of communicating the situation at hand. In no way should I have been discriminated against or “flagged”. - I was not extremely intoxicated after 3 beverages - Not once did I slip/fall/stumble - I didn’t speak to the bartender in any negative way unless she took offense to “may I” - I wasn’t slurring my words - I was not causing a scene or being loud with another guests I was simply ordering a drink with a friend. I understand the whole flagging of a person and I 100% agree with that tactic but not when the person is singled out for no reason, and showed no signs of that kind of intoxication. After this experience I would never recommend any one going or having any sort of party there when they have bartenders who treat their guests like that. I was embarrassed to be treated like that at an event that’s supposed to be a joyful occasion. I am also very upset that the bartender lied about the bill and intentionally charged me for beverages I did not receive. Which I think is actually illegal. I was a waitress before for many years and I have never treated a customer in a way that the bartender treated me.

I've been there afew time and i had bad experiences with this fat white dude at the front counter who is very ignorant, disrespectful and rude to a respectful paying customers (never again under this ghetto run management ). I went there at 11 pm on the weekend and was told Southbowl was closed (at 11pm?????) after waiting 20 min in line while there was 2 groups of people who got 2 lanes ahead of me and get to play over an hour
