We had fun bowling but the main gentleman, Tim, was incredibly rude. He scoffed at me when I didn't understand how the pricing structure worked. We asked to play 2 games for our family of 4 and he only gave us 5 frames, went back up and asked for the full 10 frames but then we found out we had only paid for 1 full game. Don't think it should be this confusing to go bowling with your family and I certainly didn't expect to pay full price for my 2-year-old. We definitely will not be back. Not to mention it was incredibly hot inside the building.

They were too crowded. I couldn't even get a lane on a Saturday evening. They were even snarkey with me when I went to the counter asking for a lane. They pointed to the ling waiting line, embarrassing me and my date. I will not return.

Always have a good time here. This time they saved my son's birthday when another facility let us down. We were able to get an open lane, play a couple of games and then head to the fun zone. The boys loved their laser tag games and the rest of us played skeeball and a variety of other games. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the food is good - especially the fries!

I never EVER write online and complain but, this place deserves it. It is terrible!! Took my family to the arcade part. after purchasing our cards we realized half of the games were out of order. the games that we did play either wouldn't work with the swipe of the card or wouldnt give you all the tickets that you won. sometimes it wouldnt even give any tickets out. The ticket counting machine was jammed every 5 mins. There was about 7 staff members and I can only say about two of them were good. They rest were absolutely awful and looked/acted like they didn't want to be there. The "manager" was so unprofessional. We went up to get prizes half the prizes were missing. Everything that we wanted was the last item and we couldn't have it. Which im not sure why they weren't taken down like the rest of the items. Will not be going there again and will recommend others to not go. Again, I'm not a person to write complaints for everyone to see but this place truly deserves it.

We had 3 lanes. One got stuck about a half dozen times. They seemed short staffed. In each instance it took close to 5 minutes to get someone to help resolve the issue with the lane. It was during a fundraiser that I planned so it was a little embarrassing.

My family of four bowled a game plus 3 shoe rentals for $30 during Saturday day time. You can also pay by the hour. Pricing and availability are clearly marked on their website. You can call ahead to find out what the wait is like. The décor is exactly what you expect for a bowling alley. Staff is friendly. Food, soda, bar, pro shop, arcade and indoor fun center are all on site.

I took the kids to the Family Fun Galaxy within the bowling alley. It was our first time there and we weren't sure what to expect. It didn't take long to make up our minds that we wanted to stay and play! They kids had a blast driving reckless in bumper cars, lighting up the wide selection of arcade games, getting on the Frog Hopper ride, in the ball pit, and of course, their favorite, laser tag! We ordered a $14 flavor-free pizza that I surely didn't write home about and ate at one of the large tables. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's worth checking it out. I know we'll definitely be back!

I honestly don’t understand how this place is still running. The party hostesses run to get the kids dirty bowling shoes then get the kids food right after with no gloves to make their food without cleaning their hands. The staff working the counter in the bowling alley are rude. The snack bar takes too long to get everything out because they only have two people working. I doubt their kitchen is even up to health codes they need a new inspector looking. I went to the fun center and most the staff was friendly besides two of the lady’s. All the games are old and abused. The first time I came up to the register a lady by the name candy I think was supposed to be helping me at the counter and instead she was eating her food in the room they have in the back. Second time I came up she was on the phone. I asked one of the other employees to help and they said only she can touch the register when I asked why they said she’s the manager. What kind of manager sits around like that and does not have a person that can run the register if they won’t do it. Shout out to a few of the employees whom I didn’t learn their names for helping me. I’ll give another review today the day this all happened was the middle of January.

We had a really good time here, though there was a slight wait on everything due to the fact that there was only one person working. The place was nice and clean, and I don't know much about bowling prices, but it seemed pretty fair. Really enjoyed it!

A very good place to bring the family and to meet up with friends. Arcade games, snack bar, and sports bar for Adults. For the kids, they provide bumpers guards on the lanes and ball ramps so the kids can have great assisted games. For teens and adults they have the latest Pop & Rap music videos playing on all alley section screens so can get move to the beat and get your best bowling groove on! Overall, this nice bowling alley provides a great fun bowling atmosphere for everybody, you'll want to return!

Bowling was good. I was happy I bought a new ball . the store owner told me he couldn't drill the holes and he would do it next morning between 10:30 am and 3:30 pm I get there no lights on he never showed up .

I use to enjoy coming here, but just visiting tonight has changed my mind. I rather drive to New Castle to Bowl a Rama or to Dover. I was told there is a 25-30 minute late but I don't understand how that can be with 15 lanes currently open.

Called ahead for good time to bowl, was told we were good to come with a group on Wed evening. Got there at 6 and was told it was league night, no lanes until 930. Waited until 945 to bowl while playing pool in their bar, was told mechanic went home and couldnt rent a lane. What a double dissapontment! Customer service and accurate info needs to become a priority.

Bowling alley itself was in good condition went with my family to bowl a couple of games . They had only pay by the hour which is a scam our time started a soon as she rang us up gave us 5 mins to get balls shoes and names entered . May I add this included when we had trouble with the land also is we got to the tenth frame and ran out of time . Would have to pay another 35 dollars to finish our game . Do not recommend I won’t be going back any time soon

What a horrible experience!! I will never go again. The website falsely advertised $25 an hour. It's just a ploy to get people in. Once you ring up it's more. They try to tell you it's "summer hours" but the site does NOT state that. The supposed manager on duty couldn't correct in the register. Then when she went to walk away we had to ask for the lane number. She apologized saying "I'm sorry. She forgot." She who? You rang me up. NEVER AGAIN!! And the first person we spoke to behind the counter said "Oh, you thought it was $25? Everyone thinks that because of the website." They are completely aware.

This was our first visit and we will definitely be back very soon. The staff was wonderful, the prices were reasonable for the bowling, food and beer. The food tasted great and for $150, we fed 5 people, had 4 beers, bowled for 2 hrs and tipped the staff. We will have to try the games next time! Thank you Mid County Lanes!

Has good games, lighting is very dim for some reason, heavily understaffed, disorganized, chaotic, unmanned kid rides. The pizza was absolutely the worst pizza I've ever had. Tasted like cardboard with Ragu sauce and a bunch of cheese on top. My kid's birthday is coming up, I will not be coming here for sure.

Very disrespectful staff, just straight up rude. Denied us 2 lanes, even though there was 4 lanes open next to one another and 9 open in total, and made us bowl on one lane. Actually had ignored the request for 2 lanes until we came back up, after realizing we were given one lane. Literally said because it was more convenient for them. Would have been able to bowl a lot more in the hour. They really care about their customers...not.

If you want to go some where to play games and laser tag as a group instead of with lots of other people, this is the place. We bowl and play laser tag quite often here. The bowling lanes are decent as are the games.

We started going to parties here and have had parties for our kids as well. Last year, our kids got bit by the bowling bug and joined the league. My wife and I were quick to start bowling and this summer enrolled in the summer family league. We have done a few tournaments. It truly is a great family place and the sport lends itself to being a family event. The kid's league is on Saturday mornings and the coaches do a lot to help out. Each week the children win bowler of the week and are given prizes. Can't speak highly enough about the staff and how much they do to help boost the sport of bowling.

I have never had an experience like this planning for my church family and friends to have a great night out three months in advance and still had problems. My brother is coming from Korea and I wanted to have a night with bowling and laser tag, called three months in advance got the run around with the phone calls. The first call back took one week. " I will get back to you tomorrow" lie. Then called back and it took another week for another phone call just to ask me the same questions that I had already answered the first time. Then I get another call back just to tell me that the lanes of all been booked and they're not able to fit my group in at all there's nothing they can do about it. I will never ever go back to this bowling alley ever again.

We arrived in a spur of the moment trip to be turned away from bowling due to it being a league night. All lanes were empty on our arrival, but we were told league members were due to be arriving. We were just looking to get our 3 and a half year old out of the house to burn some energy, so we decided to go with the arcade area instead. Not much there for my daughters age, but we bought a game card and wrist band for the ballocity anyway. We were told right away that there had been a loss of power recently to the games and if it happen again there would have to close and there would be no refund, but the balance on the card would not expire. The environment was dark, which is okay around the games, but I believe near the frog hopper and especially the ballocity in the evening hours there should be more lighting. My daywho usually enjoys these areas was scared to go into the dark area. Also, the ballocity should be included with a game card purchase given half the equipment doesn’t work and there are only a handful of worn out and torn balls. I definitely feel there is a need for some maintenance and upgrades. I shouldn’t feel ripped off going out to support a local business. The prizes you get for your tickets won were also cheap and poor quality considering the overpriced games at $1-$3 a piece.

Went bowling with my boyfriend today at about 4pm. The bowling alley wasn't busy and it was just the two of us and we decided we were going to have a beer. We went up to the bar and stood for 5 minutes waiting for someone to walk over and help us. Finally the bartender walked over and my boyfriend asked if the bar was open (since it was so early and she looked annoyed) and she very bluntly said "yes". She got us two beers which cost $6 and since ive served tables I tipped her $5 even though she was rude. My boyfriend and I played a few games and I went back up to grab us two more beers. Why not right? The bartender was prepping food and didn't acknowledge me. I waited a while and then played a bit more and then came back up to the counter. Another girl asked me how she could help and when I asked for Sam Adams seasonal she looked at me like I was insane. I repeated myself 3 more times to finally end up asking her "if she could pour beer or if someone else needed to do it?!" Finally she said she wasn't trained in that and then she looked at me for a moment and said, "well do you want me to get the girl that can do that?" I was so frustrated I walked, away finished my game and left. I'll never return for the lack of customer service . Thanks for ruining bowling for me.

Mid County Lanes located in Middletown, DE is worth checking out. The atmosphere is energetic and family friendly. I recommend that if you're taking young kids to the Family Fun Galaxy, use the side door, especially if it's a weekend evening. The entrance is located next to the ice cream shop. This prevents having to walk through the bowling alley and bar area that may have adults enjoying an adult night out.

Went for a kids birthday party and the arcade was horrendous. At least 2/3 of the games were broken to the point of being unusable, but none of them were marked as out of order, so they would still take your money. I spun the jackpot on the wheel of Fortune game and no tickets came out. Most of the games use an electronic card payment system, but around 1/3 of the games inexplicably still use coins. There is no change machine to be found. On the plus side, the beer was cheap and tasted like the hoses were nice and clean. The kids seemed to have fun bowling.
