Place has interesting/fun decor with bowling, & arcade. The food was good. Alligator tacos were very good. Wish the brisket mac n cheese had more brisket. Burger was nice size and juicy. Fried catfish was tasty. Service was good.

Bar right next door with a restaurant inside arcade room to the left with plenty to play. They sell Gator yes I got to try fried gator delicious taste like chicken. Only gave it two stars instead of one because the alligator was great. Everything else was sub par. Our waitress was slow and never checked in to see if we needed anything. Small portions for price ( we were honestly expecting that ). Food really did suck. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re going for alligator. Atmosphere was cool, it was decorated so cool!

Our visit here was a very unique experience. We've been to several Bass Pro Shops and each location is setup differently, but we never expected to find one with a bowling alley! The atmosphere is really cool and definitely not like a more traditional alley. It would definitely a fun place to visit on a cold rainy day or for a birthday party with kids.

The reviews were dismal but seeing that they were posted back in 2016, I decided to give it a try. I purchased the Groupon coupon for 4. We have 2 very active boys, ages 2.5 and 7 so we decided to go first thing (10am) on a weekday. Wise decision! We had our lane immediately and out food was pizza was fresh and hot. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the concierge very knowledgeable and patient. The bowling place was kid friendly. The motif was really cool and interesting. We could just stay there the whole day if we wanted! With our Groupon the price was definitely affordable. Commendable!

Ambience is lovely, and that is why I have this place a star...otherwise it doesn't warrant a star. We went to bowl only to find out you need reservations, but you can't make them in person, only online. We decided to eat while there and after almost 30 minutes I received the water I ordered...from previous experience I can say that this is normal, and the food is average at best on a good day (And that is being extremely generous) I would recommend walking through the room to enjoy the decor on your way to somewhere else.

Good meal and there are Vegan options. Try the Impossible Burger for something very close to hamburger. The shrimp was all you could eat and very good. There is a bowling alley in the restaurant and co located with Pro Bass Shop. The Pinnical is a good shopping place where Uncle Buck's is located.

Service was TERRIBLE our waitress was extremely grumpy and slow (we were the only people in there). We ordered the kids food first hoping it would come out quickly and before our meals, came with our food 40min later and all meals were cold and looked to be sitting out for a while.

There is a special on Fridays where you can get all you can eat fried fish and chips. They also have an all you can eat fried shrimp special. The eating area is right next to the bowling alley so it can be noisy. The waitstaff is inattentive and you have to constantly flag them down for every little thing. The food also takes a long time to come out so expect to wait for your meal. The food over all is decent.

Waited to long to be seated, noisy from a bowling ally not being insulated from the dining area. When asking the hostess why she wasn't seating me she told me she was waiting for the rest of the group to arrive to those standing in the hall, say what!! The place had several seats and it was just my wife with me. She'd had us seated long before the others would have shown. And, not was I was expecting. Don't plan on a quiet lunch with your wife. It was noisier than I could take. The food was good but they need to teach the hostess some quicker thinking. I stood there to long while she could have had me seated.

Super fun themed bowling alley. There was a 90 min wait for a lane. We filled out our form with shoe sizes and names including phone number. When your lane is open, they will call you. We went to dinner, and were called twice 1 hour in to our wait to tell us a lane was ready. When we got there, our lane, shoes, and everything was ready to go. A quick pay and we were ready to bowl. We used a Groupon, so we got soda too. Our family had a great time here, and we will go back again soon. If you need something to do if you need to wait, walk around Cabelas or you can head to the Outlets of Des Moines right across the street. Uncle Bucks is a fun ocean themed place to bowl and eat. You won't be disappointed. Kudos go out for the friendly staff too!

Traveling through the area and decided to give this place a try. Our server, Mary was very helpful and even took the time to explain the menu specials and offer advice. My husband had the fish and fries and I had the grilled shrimp. The menu said the shrimp was blackened. I didn't want the blackened, so the cook left it off. The shrimp was excellent! My husband had such a large portioned meal that he had to take some of it home. My only concern was that the beautifully decorated restaurant is beside a bowling alley which was a little noisy. The restaurant is located just inside of Bass Pro Shop so after our meal we did a little shopping. We will be back and have even recommended this restaurant to other family members to try.

Bad experience going there for lunch today. Took over 1.5 hours to get food after the waitress kept saying “2 more minutes” for 45 Minutes. We ordered 2 plain burgers. Pretty simple. Then she proceeded to tell us there was a large party before us and then the kitchen made the burgers wrong and had to redo it. The restaurant was Empty. To top it off I had my 2 year old who was starting to get tired from the wait as well. Ended up leaving without the food. Unacceptable. Would not recommend or go back!

The bowling was great. Not a fan of paying by time rather than per game. My it is were pretty upset getting cut off in the middle of the game. The food was horrible. The adult food was cold, and horrible. Kids pizza my son said was the best pizza he's had. So it seems hit or miss. Do love that kids eat free till Christmas Eve. Definitely pros and cons. But we will come back and give it another chance. I was a little bummed to see the only real fish were the ones in the tank at the bar. From the website it seemed as if there would be large thanks with many fish to see. Not at all. Just a handful of real fish.

I'll start by saying this, bowling is expensive and purchased in time slots rather than 10 frame games. The aquarium design and lighting is very cool, however very little thought was put into designing the room for acoustics so it's loud in the restaurant and it hinders conversation. As for the restaurants food quality, I'm sad to say that I would rather eat McDonalds. Prices are high, the food has an unbearable amount of salt on it, and the presentation of the food is embarrassing. I was almost wondered if the pasta was dished out to the plate via layup or served up from the three-point line. Also, here's a tip - if the food is hot on the outside but colder in the center it was likely microwaved. I don't know about you, but if I wanted a microwaved meal I would have saved my money and done it myself. On the bright side, it's loud enough that you won't have to listen the microwave beeping from the kitchen! $$$$ High Prices

We drove 1.5 hours to the one in Bridgeport Ct today. There was no aquarium, just a disappointing fish tank in the attached Bass Pro shop. The atmosphere was cool but food was overpriced (8.50 for a pitcher of SODA) and portions a little small. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the kids enjoyed the arcade after we bowled. Not a long wait but we went early on a Monday (spring break for schools in MA). Decent experience but not worth the long drive- also the website should be updated to properly advertise what is actually there. Between 2.5-3 stars id say and really only because the kids had fun which is what matters most.

We had to wait for 3 hours after told that would be 2 it seemed they keep skiping our group. When I asked we were simply stated a party just walked in and they were priority. When we get to play, our lane keep getting interrupted.

Brought Grandkids for Bowling & dinner. We were told5 hr wait to bowl, kids were very disappointed, 4 yr old started to cry. Need a solid Manger here to fix things as not all lanes open late afternoon /early evening Saturday. The reason I gave a 4 was thank god for our server Kareem who really did a great job getting drinks to the table, making sure table was clean & got our food out quickly & correctly. You can tell he is so much more than getting food out to tables, he delivers great service, a keeper and I manage people. Our food was good and priced fairly.

I had friends with me I was hoping to share some good burgers with after a fun day in the store. The facility is cool with an underwater theme. They said usually on weekends they have 2 hour wait and you have to just walk around the Bass pro store connected to it while you wait. The price is pretty expensive for everything. I am never picky with taste of restaurant food but have eaten the food twice at Bucks and have hated it both times. The pizza tasted like plain bread. The staff is really nice though and we had fun bowling for the night. You can buy food and drinks while you bowl. They sometimes have a Groupon deal too.

First, atmosphere and service was excellent, definitely family friendly and comfortable, our waitress couldn't have been better. But the food was mediocre to poor quality. I had a burger, no doubt it was a frozen patty, for $11 I really expect a fresh made burger. At the price point Uncle Buck's charges, much better quality at local Mom&Pop's with a similar pub based menu. Other than service, the food was disappointing, probably won't go again.

This place i has the worse service was there on weds place was slow there were like 4 other lanes being used it was 430 in the afternoon we used a groupon for two hours and didn’t use the whole time the lane we were given the seats had big rip in it waited for ever for our sodas then wanted to order some appitizers no one showed up even after asking the front counter person to send someone there were like three or four wait staff just walking around and talking to each other they never even picked up from the previous people that used the lane we were on spoke to manager on the way out he seemed to not even care even with a groupon it’s not worth the money never gong back .

EEEWWWW!!! Cool concept but the food and service was horrible. The plates sounded good but to say they were disappointing would be generous. Staff was slow and careless. Messed up a few things and had no clue what they were doing. Place is trash. With all the waiting we had to do i had half a mind to walk back in the kitchen and start putting out tickets myself just to teach them something. And honestly i don't think anyone would say anything because i really don't think they have any managment. Just read the reviews. They seem to have to apologize a lot.

I almost didn’t go to Uncle Bucks because of the reviews I was reading. I am so glad I went! My mom is a huge fishing fanatic so we thought this would be a great place to bring her for Mother’s Day. We were seated in the dining area by the fireplace and we loved our table. Our server was wonderful and attentive as well! This place is so pleasing on the eye and the decor is phenomenal! If you’re looking for a place to eat that has a unique ambience then this is the place to go. The kiddos will love it too. We also enjoyed the cocktail menu. I tried the fish bowl and it was delicious. I would most def go back again.

NO SERVICE FOR THOSE WHO SERVED My brother and I are US Vetererans. Between us we have over 30 years of service. We were nicely greeted and escorted to a table as well as informed about our military discount. However, a waiter or waitress never came by to take our order. The restaurant was only occupied by a couple waiting on their check and a family of 4! We decided to move to the bar Although, the bartender seemed to be too busy chatting with two friends and just ignored us . I decided to go over and asked her to take our order. During the time we were sitting waiting for our order to arrive we were ignored by three waiters helping themselves to free drinks from the soda fountain. There was no surprise when Our orders never arrived. Seemingly, veterans presence is not welcomed here. Therefore, We left.

It was a really fun evening! We used a Groupon to get an hour of bowling with pizza and drinks. The wait to bowl was DEFINITELY long, but didn’t feel like it. In the meantime we shopped, looked at the museum quality displays, played the arcade, and had fish and a fish bowl drink, which I rarely find. Overall a fun experience!

Your time begins the minute they log you in do you don't get your full time. It is very unorganized when checking in. It took me 20 minutes to get a tea and 2 trips to the bar and I finally had to go to the check in desk.

This place has potential, and although I had a nice time bowling with my family, i was disappointed with the service, so I don't know that I'll choose to spend an evening here again. So the place is cool and clean inside, and while they appear to serve a full menu, no one was around to serve us. I told the guy at the front that we intended to order food, and I went back up there, but still no one came by. At all. I went to the car and got some drinks because we were parched. We intended to eat dinner here, so that was disappointing. Anyway, had we been able to get drinks and eat, we probably would have played several games and hung out. So, like I said, the place has potential, but the service was a flop. Ironically, all the TVs kept advertising their food and full bar.

My waitress took 30 minutes to get to my table not inly the first time, but every time in between. By the time my beer got to the table it was getting warm. Two other tables walked out while I was there. It was slow there was no excuse. My food was expensive and cold. The manager didn't even make an appearance at any point during all this.

The bowling was fun but the service was terrible. About 5 minutes after we started bowling I asked one of the servers about getting drinks and she said she would be right back to take our orders. She walked past us the rest of the evening and never came back to our area. When it was obvious she wasn't interested in bringing us drinks I pushed the Service button every ten minutes until finally our hour was over and we left. We went there yesterday, & we also waited in line for 25 mins got there about 15 mins after it opened. Then waited 20 mins to be seated then waited 15 mins before any one came to our Table. The Food was bad I ordered pasta & it was DRY & they fried it. what? judging by the reviews im surprised people still go there. 4 hour wait to Bowl said we said forget that. The place is decorated nice that's all they got going for them.

This place has so much potential, And very nicely done. However, very slow waitstaff. Had to pay 3.50 to rent a pair of shoes plus 25$ for an hour to bowl. By far best bartender we have ever had! Went in on Friday night and she was not only friendly with a great sense of humor, but very fast. She kept our drinks full and was very attentive while serving tables as well. I ordered the Bloody Mary my friend ordered the fishbowl, both were great! We have been in before and we were honestly hesitant to return as we have terrible service before, but we are very glad we did! Kate definitely won us over and we will be back for sure! The new arcade is a fun touch as well!

Stopped during a road trip because we had a Groupon for bowling, never got to bowl as they were booked straight through closing time. Staff was completely unapologetic and acted like we should have known they'd be booked, there was nothing on the Groupon or website indicating reservations were required. I asked if we could at least look inside since we were hours from home and wouldn't be able to return, and was told no. My husband spoke with someone in the shopping area and apparently they were NEVER busy until they did the Groupon, so it worked for them but also gave the staff a bad attitude. I gave 2 stars because the store attached to the bowling place was actually really cool and fun to walk around, kinda cushioned the blow of not getting to bowl.

This place passes for a restaurant? What a joke! Overpriced frozen quality food that is below the quality you can get out of a a frozen meal in the microwave. All you can eat shrimp is hilariously mislabeled - its more like "heres a plate with 7 shrimp - if you are lucky we will be back to ask you if you want another 7". Thats just fine though because The Gorton's Fisherman makes better garbage than this slop. Service is bad, but thats fine because youll want to either leave to find something else or to prepare for a night in the restroom. Bowling alley looks small and cramped, but interesting enough (if youve got time between bathroom visits if you eat here). Cannot believe people actually rate this place anything above 1 or 2 stars. Its that bad.

We went here specifically for their lunch shrimp special. We had enjoyed this on our last visit several months ago. The shrimp is awesome here, fresh and served hot and crispy. Would highly recommend giving this a try. They have an extensive menu, but, so far, we have stuck with the shrimp. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 is that the restaurant is combined with a bowling alley, so can be a bit noisy at times.

The concept was beautifully designed to feel as if you were under the sea. The service though felt lack luster and as if you were on a sinking ship. Marcia at the front desk would not make eye contact when bringing us through the process of redeeming out Groupon and acted as if this was a bother. We never used Groupon before and did not know how it was to be redeemed. Our deal was 2 hours of bowling, 6 pairs of shoes and 2 pitchers of soda or beer. We ordered soda. We were told a server would confirm our order of the soda. We played bowling for 45 min. Then I realized someone didn't bring the pitchers or took an order. I stopped a man named, Dan. He said he would find our server. Our server was Autumn. She was not very helpful. After she came with the pitchers of soda she never gave us cups. I got our cups, napkins and place settings. When our game stoped due to a glitch. Autumn was clearly upset we asked for help. She did get the game to start again but had to clear the gutters and add more time to our rental time. The food we ordered took over another 45 min. No body took owner ship. It was just frustrating.

The menu online was wrong. The menu that was given to us was wrong because several of the items are no longer served. The waitress was wonderful and that's the primary reason that I gave it a four. If it was based on the food the quality of the food or the quality of the menu or the quality of the website, those items would have gotten one star from me. I love eating at Uncle Bucks! It's never very busy and depending on what you order the food comes out fast. Come on people you can't order a well done burger and expect it to be on the table in 5 minutes. We are a family of 3. We were in and out in about 45 minutes. Everyone's entree was super our server's name was Brittany and she was on top of it!! I had the beer battered fish and chips. It was very good I would definitely recommend that. I would order it again,in fact I want it right now. I don't know why it's not hopping more than it is.

I would say as far as the look and feel of the place is great you have a great visual of the fish and animals hanging around from above also the lights that make everything better....But on the other hand the downside would be the long wait time to get a lane especially on super busy weekends plus it's hard to get your drink or food in a timely manner so you should expect to bother them for it or just wait a long time ...

Just finished eating here for my birthday and it was absolutely horrible!! The waitress was great however the manager here was rude to us when we asked for a manager after my boyfriend recieved a childrens sized plate of fish and chips for $13 that tasted gross, was cold and not enough food for the price! I could have gotten more food at a long john silvers! the manager said that the fish was supposidly 6 ounces which could not have been true! He got 3 chicken nugget sized pieces of fish and less than a handful of freezing cold nasty fries! WE WILL NOT be coming here ever again and don’t recommend the food at all

Our family was so excited to stop here in our way home from Maine to Virginia. It took us about 5 hours to get here and we were sooooo ready to stretch our legs and eat some food. We were very disappointed. We did an hour of bowling, food, and a few arcade games. My husband runs a very successful boutique bowling alley so my kids and I are familiar with how things work in this kind of environment. When we entered the establishment we were asked if we were dining or bowling, we let the host know we’d like to do both. It took a bit to get our shoes as she was tending to other things at the counter, the manager was speaking to a couple about their unpleasant experience. Once we got to our lane our server came over to take our drink orders. She was very pleasant and was sure to engage our kids, something I think is very important in a place like this. We got our drinks promptly. We placed our food order and waited....and bowled...and waited...it took nearly 40 mins to get our food! By this time our kids were HANGRY! they didn’t want to bowl any more because they were hungry and cranky. The food y’all.... I can’t even think of a word to describe how awful it was. The kids portions were tiny! They got like 6 French fries, I’m not even joking. My husband has never ever sent food back.....his chicken sandwich was so over cooked he could hardly choke down one bite. We asked our server to take it back. She was very sweet about it and insisted he get something else, so he ordered a burger. It was mediocre, at best. All this food drama while we are trying to enjoy a game of bowling. After he finished eating we asked for our check, the server explained she was able to take the chicken sandwich off but we had to pay for the burger because she wasn’t a manger or something. No problem! We had been looking forward to going here for so long and we were so disappointed. The food was just awful, the lack of management presence to handle situations like this was sad, not that I would want to admit I was in charge of such a terrible kitchen. The bowling itself was ok, it’s definitely novelty bowling. I don’t think the lanes have ever seen oil. The arcade was huge but costly. I’m sad to say we will not be back....

We went here to play bowl with the kids. Bought the Groupon coupons online to play bowl. Arrived on Saturday afternoon, had to wait approximately two hours till our turn. The bowling lanes is not too many, but the aquatic theme decorations is marvelous. It is worthy to go there for the experience and take a cool looking picture with all the aquatic fish decorations above you. It is a very crowded place, prepare to have a wait. They provide a comfortable waiting chairs on the hall way near the entrance. It is located together with the Bass Pro Shops as well as the restaurant. While you wait for your turn to play bowl, you could go to the huge and massive bass fish aquarium located all the way in back of the Bass Pro Shop. During the weekend they do a live feed show, where you can have your turn to feed the fish. It is a really fun and free experience.

If you are willing to go very early and wait a few hours give it a try. When asked when they got busy so I could plan better next time I was given a snotty answer by another employee. The atmosphere was fun and colorful. But that was where it ended. We sat by the windows where it was drafty and freezing cold. Our 18 month old was shivering even after we moved towards the middle. Service was slow, but the waitress was very nice. The food was pretty awful. The burgers were quite obviously frozen patties and were greasy. The soup was fresh from a can. The fries were the only good part of the meal. The whole restaurant came off like a Chili's with the fun menu and great decor. But they fell flat on their faces when trying to pull off a good burger. This was my first and last visit.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Waited almost 2 hours after being told it would be an hour wait for bowling. Went to the desk and asked, told I would have to wait another 20 minutes and that they had texted me. Despite having no blocks on my phone & my husband, who’s on the same plan with the same style phone, received the text our dining table was ready without issue. Requested a discount because even when the woman at the desk read the phone number, she read it wrong. It’s all their input. They input the number wrong reading a 7 as a 1. And refused to admit their error and refused to do anything other than stick us on the next lane if we continued to wait. Not like we drove an hour to get there or anything... oh wait, we did.

Uncle Bucks typically has anywhere between a 1 and 6 your wait to bowl on the weekends. Do not waste your time even trying to go on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday at any time unless you get there right when the doors open.

Bowling was fun but don’t eat here. First our lane was super filthy with dirty plates and dirty cups. There was even pieces of pizza sitting by our seats. When our pizza came, the waiter placed it on the table which was full of the dirty plates and cups and they didn’t even bother to clean it up. I had to track a staff member down so that I can get plates, napkins and the pitcher of soda. The pizza looked sketchy which I didn’t eat but my son felt sick right after eating it. He kept complaining about his belly and as soon as we walked out the door he threw up and continued the whole night like that. I think more attention should be placed on customer service and cleanliness. I would go back for bowling but no eating for us!

The place is really cool. I love the decoration and the feeling of "being in the ocean". There was no waiting time when I was there on a Wednesday night in a group of 4. The only thing that kind of disappointed me was the pizza. I didnt know how many pizzas I should order for my group so I asked what size it was and the waitress said 24 slices. I thought 1 pizza would be more than enough in that case, but when it came it was really small. It was cut in 24 tinny squares... Of course it wasn't enough food for all of us, but it's ok because didn't taste good anyways. I do not recommend the pizza from this place at all, but I would totally go back and try other stuff from the menu.

I brought my family here on a Wednesday in June after my sons kindergarten graduation I am so glad that I did not listen to the reviews and just decided to make my own judgement this place is awesome the food was beyond great the amount and prices were great and we used the 2hr bowling Groupon so we ate while we bowled we had so much fun the staff were so sweet and accommodating the only staff member that i can say anything negative about is the guy with a beard he seemed pretty rude and upset to have customers he might have been a manager not sure however the rest of the staff especially the girl in the front went above and beyond our expectations so his negative attitude didn’t ruin our fun it’s a small bowling alley so don’t expect to get seated right away on a weekend it’s best on a weekday I would definitely go back and the place itself is gorgeous this was a great find and well worth every penny

Really didn't care for my dining experience here. I went with a group of 6 that eat here every year after their pilgrimage to Bass pro. They've always raved about the place, great food and service, ECT. We walked in, they noticed the layout has changed, which they approved of and the bowling lanes were full of people. However, that was about it for positive experiences, the food took well over an hour to come out, the wait staff was hard to find for anything, even refills. The food just didn't taste fresh, like it had that stale frozen food taste, especially the pizza. The burgers were okay, fish and chips were generous but slightly undercooked inside, the only good thing to come out of the kitchen was the fish taco which looked and tasted amazing. Overall, very disappointed.

What a horrible experience I had with my mother, my 4 year old nephew and my 3 year old son. Was an hour wait to get a lane. The staff were not helpful at all when asked about the bowling balls. They had said that there was 6 bowling ramps for the children but there was only 2 available on site. This is a children's place bowl. It's not fair to have to share between lanes when your paying (overpriced) for a lane. When we asked to speak to a manager she seemed like she didn't give a damn as well. Very unprofessional. Will not recommend this place

Great atmosphere, good food, good service depending on when you go. I arrived around 730 on a Saturday night and was told there’d be a three hour wait for bowling. They closed around the time the wait would be over so we didn’t bother with the bowling. We instead went in and ordered food at the bar, the bartenders took forever to come over and offer drinks, but the food came out pretty quick and wasn’t bad. We ordered the alligator tacos & brisket nachos with a beer & soda. We played in the arcade for a few minutes and left. I’d probably come back here again just to attempt the bowling, only because the place is decorated incredibly. It’s like the inside of a captains ship but also feels like you’re underwater at the same time.

WORST service ever; the person at the front allowed people to cut my son and I off which, made us havecto wait an extra 30 mins. Our wait-time was 25-30 minutes for a table of 7 but not bad since it was spring break and busy. However, once seated it went downhill from there. Very poor service from our waitress! This place was a huge disappointment. The service was unacceptable. The facility has great potential, but it is so poorly run. As first time (and last time customers), we arrived and didn't know how everything operated. We told them we wanted to bowl and eat dinner. We were under the impression there was a restaurant as we saw a menu online and a barlike area when we arrived. The "hostess" or cashier told us it would be a 10-15 minute wait while they cleaned up a lane. That would have been fine with us as a warning on the website mentioned a potential 1-4 hour wait for a lane. About 25 minutes later, we were given our shoes and our lane. The bowling was fun, except we were we all distracted trying to flag down anyone to get us food. After 40 minutes of waiting for a menu, our bowling lane broke down just as we finished our first game. Despite having another 20 minutes on our clock for the lane, we decided to leave. We were too hungry. One young man, who actually appeared to be working there, offered us an additional half hour on the lane. Kudos to him. Everyone else should be fired.

My family and I stopped in to eat, to kill time for our 1.5 hour wait to see Santa, at the Altoona location. What a mistake that was. We waited half an hour just for the waitress to come take our drink order. Mind you, it wasn’t even close to being busy. Not one of the employees looked like they were in any sort of hurry or want to be there. The waitress finally came over and she acted like she didn’t care to take our order. It literally took us almost the full hour and a half to get through our time there. All we had were two kids meals, a sandwich and catfish. I can tell you that we will not be returning. Sadly, I’ve had two other not so great experiences there so it solidified my reasoning for not returning.

Not worth the trip, maybe if your local but I would never go again .. after waiting almost 10 minutes for someone to come over to the the table the waitress came over to tell us it would be another 5 minutes before actually getting to us. At that point I stated we had already been sitting for almost 10 minutes and had not even been offered drinks. I understand there was some kind of party going on but if that’s the case they should have been staffed better. It was extremely disappointing and the waitress and the hostess could have cared less they were losing customers . The only one who showed any concern was the guy who sat us. It was quite disgraceful. In addition the tables were filthy with food from other people that looked like it had been sitting there for some time. All around pretty terrible experience and we walked out.

I'm giving it 2 stars for the decor and our awesome waitress. The food was mediocre at best, the bowling staff was incredibly rude because we had a Groupon, she said it would be 2 or 3 hours before we could bowl, putting us at 9 pm at the earliest, there were 2 open lanes, so we went back to our hotel. My grandkids are 8, 5, and 2, it was a family birthday party that was way less special because of being unable to bowl.

Sorry for the 1 star and this has nothing to do with the food since I didn't even get to eat. 1 star because the hostess that "helped" me was the rudest I have ever encountered, she was working 1/4/19 at around 6 pm. I had a groupon and nowhere in there says you have to eat and bowl at the same time, so she says the wait is 1hr and a half for an open lane, I asked if we could eat while 1 opened and she immediately yelled at me as if I had to know that rule, I then went to ask about ages of children and prices, she kept talking over me and I finally said thank you for your helped and walked away. I would really like to try it, but I will not if the hostess is there.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We ate there tonight (4 adults, 3 kids) and it was one of the worst experiences of dining I’ve ever had. It took over 30 minutes to get our drinks, one of which was sent back twice, both times came back incorrect. The food took over an hour and a half. When it finally came out, it was terrible. Cold, over salted, and awful. If we weren’t already staving from waiting for so long, we would have sent everything back. But my kids had turned into raging lunatics at that point from sitting in a restaurant for TWO HOURS. It was laughable with everyone in the dining area, as we all waited and waited.... and waited for our food. And let me tell you, it was not worth the wait! A helpful tip: there’s a Chipotle across the parking lot. Save your sanity and go there instead!!

My burger was greasy and unpleasant, but the real problem is the absolute lack of customer service. They told us the wait to bowl was one hour. After an hour and forty five minutes we asked what the delay was and they told us it would be another 20-30 minutes. The managers as also Rude and absolutely no help whatsoever. This location in Bridgeport Connecticut has a good atmosphere but we waited two and a half hours to bowl and our food was terrible we decided to grab a couple drinks at the bar and had nachos and wings and they were dry and terrible they tasted old and then we had pizza which was included in our bowling and it was awful as he pizza tasted like it wasn't even heated it literally tasted like it wasn't even heated.

Can even rate Uncle Bucks Fish Bowl & Grill, but had to give a star to post. Was there on Friday night about 6:00 pm. A lot of open table for dinning. Hostess took us to back corner which she said was the romantic area. which who cared, we was not there for romance. Went to sit down and was large puddle of water on seat. Asked a waitress if could wipe up, she nodded and said sure. Well her and all the rest of the staff, just kept on doing what they were doing and never wiped up the water. Was standing by table and not sitting down you would of thought waitress would ask why I was not sitting down. We moved to different area on our own, After changing location the hostess came over and asked why changed location and explained why. Other couple was in the dinning area and told us that it was there when they were going to be seated there. Never wiped up. While sitting at the new location the hostess took our drink order and waitress took our food order. Shrimp all you can eat. Took 17 minutes to bring our drinks waitress can over and asked if hostess had brought our drinks. I looked at her and asked if she saw any drinks on our table, She said OH and left. Drinks can very watered down with no booze in them, was house Margarita. We have now been waiting 1 hour since being seated and still no food and no waitress ever came to check see if wanting any thing. Watching the other area, was being served their 2nd or 3rd plates of all you can eat cod and shrimp. We have not even got our order yet. While there 2 other tables got up and walked out. There was 2 managers in the kitchen area and the managers should of been helping cooks out in the kitchen.. Food was going out fast the the bowling lanes. Pizza and hamburgers and pitches of pop. When asked for our check the waitress never asked why or if wanted to speak with manager. When handed our ticket, waitress never even said thank you. Went to the check out and the hostess asked how was our food. I unloaded and asked what food, Been here 1 hours and in that time waitress was at our table twice, take order and bring our drinks. Hostess started saying how it was the kitchen fault and going on and on. Then I mention I could see 2 managers in the kitchen standing there talking. Well maybe they should of been helping get the food out to people who was just there to eat. I can say that was our first and last time will ever eat at Uncle Buck's Fish Bowl. How things looked in the store was wondering if Bass Pro was closing their doors. Maybe corporate office needs come out under cover and see how service is in Uncle Buck's Fish Bowl is!!!!!!! They maybe surprised at the poor service and food.

Had my kid's party at the bowling alley which was fun, but don't expect any help, or much service at all. Good luck getting it booked in the first place. If you get your call returned consider yourself lucky. When so many reviews mention lazy workers, playing on their cell phones you know there must be some truth to it, and that's exactly what we experienced. The only up side is the parties are very inexpensive, again, if you can actually get one booked. Just be prepared to run the entire party yourself.

We had one waitress bring us our drinks and tell us our waitress would be right with us. Almost 15 minutes later we had to flag down a different staff member to ask if our waitress would be coming over. She finally showed up to take our order after a few more minutes. Our appetizers, even though they were incredibly over priced, were good. My drink was watered down, so I paid over $8 for the worst mojito I've ever had. The bacon on my husband's burger was like rubber. My daughter ordered the brisket Mac and cheese which had approximately 10 tiny pieces of brisket. The waitress checked on us 1 time, and then not again until we asked for our check. We had to ask twice for to-go boxes. We will not be returning. If we're going to spend $70 on a meal, we'll go somewhere with good food and an attentive wait staff.

Excellent tasting and you get a lot for your money. But in my case, it was way too much! There were 4 YUGE filets on top of about 3 potatoes worth of fries. Very cool atmosphere and setup. Good food choices. Terrible staff. There was a 2.5-3 hour wait for bowling, so we were going to eat and then walk around. It was busy so we ate at the bar which was empty when we sat down. We were there two hours to eat, everything took forever... I'm pretty sure the bartender only cared to serve single men. She barely paid us any attention. I had to ask for refills and our check. The food was mediocre at best. We then went to bowl and were supposed to have a pitcher of beer and a pitcher of soda. A server was supposed to come by for our order. I instead had to go hunt someone down at the bar but she could only get me beer. So I got a pitcher of beer. And then we had to hunt someone down for soda all during our hour of bowling. Then the bowling lane is so slow to setup the pins that we barely got to bowl between how slow the machine was and how awful the staff was. I wouldn't waste my money going back to this place. It was cute but just not worth it.

Uncle Bucks used to be amazing. They had the best fried pickles and hot wings. I left Iowa for a couple years and am back now. I went to eat here again last week and it was awful. Our bartender was not attentive and we waited 30 minutes for flavorless brisket mac&cheese. We will not be going back.

This bowling alley was incredible. I drove from NYC about an hour and a half just cause I wanted to take my kids there and I most say, it was totally worth it. I love the way everything looks. Service was on point, food/drinks was good and my kids absolutely loved the place which was what I wanted. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a great time, specially those with kids.

After reading a lot of reviews, I have to admit that I was a bit leery to try this place. I am so glad that we did decide to go! My family of 5 went yesterday on a rainy afternoon/evening during the week. We called ahead of time to see what the wait time was for the bowling because I had read in reviews that there could be a long wait. There was no wait yesterday! We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 hour of bowling. At one point our lane stopped working and management fixed it within a few minutes and set our time clock back a few minutes so we didn’t lose any of our paid hour. After bowling, we ate in the restaurant and the food was very good and well priced. Our waitress was very attentive. I had the brisket sandwich and it was so tender that could cut it with a fork! After eating we played in the arcade. One of the games was not working correctly. We told an employee who credited us back on our game card. When we went to collect our prizes from the arcade, my children took a long time in choosing what they wanted. I was so impressed with the employee checking us out because he was so patient and friendly with my children. After the arcade, we walked around the entire Bass Pro shop and every employee we encountered was smiling and friendly. I would definitely go back to this place!

His party had the pizza supplied from them and it was not that good. I'm sure it's fine for kids as they ate it no problem but, it was a step below school cafeteria pizza for me. We planned an aquarium themed weekend with our toddler. First we saw the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk and then we headed over to Uncle Buck's for bowling but ended up going to the restaurant. We purchased a Groupon deal for the bowling section but we were told that the wait would be 3+ hours. So instead we headed over to the restaurant section. One associate cursed and blamed us for the lane stopping but it clearly wasn’t our fault because once the “issue” was resolved the lane still kept shutting down. We lost about 30 minutes of bowling time, which you can ask for back but we didn’t bother due to the lack of service towards the end of our visit. Plus we used a groupon so we weren’t at a loss totally but still could’ve been better. I may come back. The arcade is fun but not much prize options.

I always come to bass pro and the store is awesome. Everyone raves about the restaurant so we figured we would give it a try let me just say the experience and food was awful! I walked in and told the hostess that there was six adults and three children and they gave us a table for only six people in total. The manager advised us the restaurant was full and no other tables would be available for another half hour. Two people and one child in our party ended up leaving so we stayed at the table they originally gave us. The restaurant has awesome decor for the kids but thats about it. Our waitress was very slow and had no personality at all. We ordered burgers to keep it simple, my daughters was dripping in grease my sister ordered hers medium well and it came out pretty much raw we told the waitress she appologized and walked away did not take it off the bill so we had to ask her to (so then the manager ended up taking it off the bill eventually) my burger was the WORST burger Ive ever had in my life but since i didnt eat all day i just ate it and that was a huge mistake because my stomach hasn't stopped hurting and my fiancee felt the same about his burger . The rest of the food that came out to our table was awful as well, the fries were soggy and greasy it was just not a good experience. I would not eat here ever again or recommend this restaurant to anyone either ill only go to bass bro to shop not dine.

The food was very good and we loved the feeling of being under the sea we sat at the little bar area so my grandson could watch people who were bowling. The reason for only giving four stars and not five is the bar top area where we sat was very dirty and looked like it had not been cleaned in a very long time. I would not let this stop me from coming back again and I would recommend this to anyone. If you use Groupon they have some really good deals for here.

I had to take the time to leave this review. There are not many times you can go somewhere and get the amazing experience that you can get from this location. I have been to this location before, but I didn’t eat; only bowled. This place has a great location, amazing food, it’s so CLEAN, fun and friendly staff members, and bowling that’s differently from the norm. Located at the pinnacle close to most places in the tri-cities. We didn’t even know they had all you can eat shrimp! We arrived with a groupon for bowling and pizza and couldn’t resist the shrimp deal. Only $10 and it’s not the baby popcorn shrimp you see at other restaurants. These were full size butterflied fried shrimp! With fries and coleslaw too! We noticed right away how clean the whole place was. No dust or dirt in the corners. No sticky residue on the tables or seats. I used the restroom while bowling and there was no awful smell or grim that looked like it had missed from cleanings over and over again. I began to look for something dirty just because I was so amazed at how clean it was all over and couldn’t find anything. All the staff members were friendly and fun. They laughed and joked with us and made the experience complete. The waitress did not bother us too much or too little. Great smiles and very helpful with knowledge on menu items and prices for bowling. They tended to our every need and it felt like they wanted to, not just bec it was their job or getting paid. I have been to many bowling alleys and after coming here for a second time, this is my bowling alley home now. The lanes are very new age. They have sharks and alligators heads that come out of the floor for the ball returns. Looking up at the ceiling you can enjoy a view of many hanging underwater animals like sharks and fish. The game screens are electronic and the staff members entered in all our information for us. The prices here are by time not by the person and the screen on your lane easily shows how much time you have left. I have a larger sized thumb on my right hand and sometimes bowling alleys do not have balls that are light enough for me to use with big enough holes to accommodate my thumb size. This alley has every weight and size imaginable. We came with a groupon that saved us loads of money. Even though we just ate at the restaurant on site and our groupon came with pizza, we still used it and took the pizza home. We couldn’t pass up the amazing deal it got us. The prices are different before 5pm or after and also between weekdays and weekends. The lane prices is for up to 8 people by the hour. The groupon we had was for 4 people, with shoes rental, for one hour, with a pitcher of soda and a pizza. This was $36. The normal price for this would have been way more than that with out the coupon. Come here. Have fun. Eat food. Bring groupon. Save money. Leave happy!

The service was fair, the food was overpriced for what it was. Our salads both had brown lettuce. A really big let down during our trip. Service was extremely slow! Server was friendly but forgot about appetizer, couldn’t get any service to let them know or to get ketchup and drink refills. Burger was half well done and half medium rare and was missing the onion rings. Things definitely went down hill from the last time we went. UPDATE: changing to one star. They charged us for our ticket then another charge for $25.31! I called to report the error and the manager said he was going to put me on hold and run to the office. After being on hold for 12 minutes, I hung up and called back. The manager apologized and said he was seating a table...really?!?! Ugh, then l was I formed that he would need to call EDC to return my money and wasn’t sure how long that would take. Oh but he offered to send me a free meal!!!

So we get seated after our wait and the waitress was nice. But after about ten minutes of not seeing her, we ran out of drinks. The Manager had to get us refills. Well we went today, Sunday. It wasn't busy at all. We had the entire place to ourselves. It was a little costly though. 48 bucks for an hour of our own lane with shoes. It was just me, my wife, and 3 year old. We had fun but they literally turned our game off right at an hour. Disappointed that we couldn't finish our last two turns. There was literally no one else there and we didn't even get in 3 full games. We will probably try elsewhere next time.

Out of the way location, unless you're headed to the outlet mall, anyway. Food is mediocre at best. Made contact with six members of the staff, and 3 were unhelpful and annoyed that I asked them to do their jobs. Plus, I overheard 3 waitstaff complain about their tables and make jokes about the food -- We were at our table, they were less than three feet away - one doing silverware and the other two just complaining. Don't go on a weekend to bowl, you'll have a two plus hour wait for a lane and they won't let you check in over the phone (I called to check wait times before we arrived). When I attempted to comment on this, the hostess rudely interrupted to tell me my wait would have been the same if I had checked in when I got there- which isn't what I was saying. Bathrooms were clean, bartender and guy on the bowling side were polite and ready to assist. Our actual waitress was more than helpful, kind and always moving her feet. When I asked about different foods and drinks, she was very knowledgeable about the menu and spry when it came to incidentals - needing refills, dips for corn dogs for the kids, etc. TLDR; Unique atmosphere. Eat before you come or get something fried. Call to check wait times for lanes, check in when you first arrive. Drinks are good, pizza is standard. Worst case scenario, make a drinking game out of spying the mermaids.

I have been bowling at the Fish bowl before with my daughter and we had a great time. So yesterday I was passing by and decided to stop in with a friend. We ordered the nachos. It was $8 and came with toppings. Waitress then asked if we wanted pulled pork or chicken with it. I didn't realize it came with meat for that price so that's where I should of been skeptical lol the order came out in under 5mins.. also another bad sign lol. The cheese on them was by far the worst refrigerated melted cheese I have ever tasted along with the worst chunks of chicken. Half was still cold because it was obviously stuff out of a can. I should of known for that price it wouldn't be good but I can't believe they would even bother serving something so terrible. I love bass pro shop and the drinks and waitress were wonderful along with the bowling so that is why they got 3 stars. But steer clear of the food!

Don't bring your own bowling shoes. The floors are dirty and sticky which makes it impossible to slide on the approach. The waiter was not very good. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of one is because of the shift manager who was very attentive and quick to act to lane issues, etc. The bowling pricing needs to be changed to per game instead of hourly also.

I appreciate the polite response to the rating, but I don't think I'll be back. When we went, it wasn't terribly busy, but it took about 50 minutes to get two burgers and fries. They were okay and hot when they came out, but there was maybe a total of four tables. Two of which were single patrons who had their food, one was a family of four whose order was incorrect, and then us. It didn't help that there was a bread tie under the burger bun my fiance had. The server was gracious, but the rest of the staff hanging out near the front desk while orders were waiting wasn't encouraging. I also think the manager's fly was down. I'm not kidding. It's such a comically bad visit that we paid about 30.00 for. When there's Drake's, Aubrey's, Steak N Shake, and McDonald's nearby, it's really hard to justify why we would come back unless something drastically changed. The restaurant seems to be a second thought and perhaps everyone there has lost their motivation. I know it's hard work. I'm not sure if business hasn't been doing well there for awhile, but I can see why if there's a struggle with the kitchen getting two burgers and fries out with a practically empty restaurant. I stopped in last night with my son and his family. The crab cakes (if you can call them that) were flatter than a pancake and tasteless at $14. The amount of cheese curds was terrible and half of them had no cheese in them for $11. Our server was a nice young woman but did not know what was on a supreme pizza and that the restaurant was no longer offering free meals to kids. This is the third time we have given this restaurant another chance but no more and will let others know that way over priced and food is terrible.

Make sure you purchase a Groupon deal before visiting the location. Makes your visit worth, by just paying the taxes as extra. The atmosphere is really cool and the bowling lanes are mostly occupied with family (with kids). Arcade games also have some unique options and there is a separate dining area and a bar. No complaints on the service - food, drinks, lane issues etc..But for some reason the lanes are blocked as first come first serve and the tentative time given in their app is not that accurate. So if you are not planning to arrive by the opening slots, be prepared to wait for 2 hours and shop around in the stores inside the complex.

The bowling alley itself is very unique and has a very neat atmosphere. The lanes seem a little cramped. All the kids enjoy it that I've seen. They have bumper bowling as well as guided rails for the children. They will serve food to your lanes as well which is pretty nice. I haven't eaten in the main part of the restaurant in a few years but when I did it wasn't all that great and was very expensive. It was the one of the most plain, most expensive hamburgers I've ever eaten.

We came to dine on a Friday night for dinner. The special is "All you can eat fried shrimp" (frozen) my wife and I both ordered it. The first batch delivered was so hard we almost broke a tooth. We came here about 4:30 on Friday with a group of 10 adults. We got a table right away, no problem. A lane for bowl was about a 50 min wait. The remodel is good but they replaced a lot of seating with a ton of arcade games no one was playing. The drinks were decent with a fair amount of alcohol, albeit expensive (the cheapest mixed drink being $10 for a 8oz glass). We ordered alligator (heavily breaded and chicken-fried), fried pickle spears, and crab cakes (pretty dry). Entrees varied from flat iron steaks to salmon to mac n cheese. There is nothing on the menu under $10. The flat iron steak, my choice, was $16 (expensive for a cheap cut of meat). I ordered the steak medium rare and it came out medium. Too done for my taste. A friend also ordered the same steak medium rare and hers came out nicely medium rare. The wait staff was decent. They were extremely accommodating with a large group that arrived sporadically (a half hour between the first and last guest) and with us wanting to bowl after we ate. All in all a decent experience but not one I would go out of my way to repeat.

The server at the desk was difficult to understand her speech. I didn't understand what she was saying and I asked her 3 times? I asked my GF and she couldn't understand her as well.
