I really like this place. The people are very nice and helpful - whether you are a seasoned 200+ bowler or just trying to figure out how to keep the ball out of the gutter. The atmosphere is casual and fun and the food is actually decent. It isn't a 4 star restaurant but we have eaten there many times and it is all good. The Sunday morning "breakfast and bowl" is an awesome deal and they have a Sunday evening "pizza and bowl" that is great as well. Really fun for a family or friends outing!

It's an okay place if you'd like to go for a game or two. Very roomy space and helpful staff. Not so great if you're on a college budget though. The French fries are really, really good but the nachos are an absolute mistake.

Decent place. It's moderately inexpensive compared to other bowling lanes. They have a bar and you can get food. The philly cheese steak isn't too bad. Tough to find from the street while you're driving if you don't know where to look. It's in the Stop & Shop plaza.

Great place I haven't been bowling in years and thought it would have been expensive but, it was actually really reasonable. A group of four can go there for a few hours for well under $100 including everything it was actually very surprising how inexpensive it was They have different times for adults and families with kids, and the entire place is split up into three different sections Very much worth the visit.

Super awesome experience, got our moneys worth on our outing with the family. Great family environment with much more bearable music noise level (as compared to ear-breaking Norwalk Bowlmor) , and also great customer service when needed, we had a blast! definitely recommend!

As a resident of Fairfield for 18 years now, I can rightfully say one of Fairfield's highlights is Nutmeg Bowl. Nutmeg Bowl features a first floor section with a large amount of lanes for bowling by yourself or with friends, and an upstairs area called Own Back Yard, which is a bouncy house play area where you can take your kids to, to have some fun, or even host their birthday party there. All the staff are fantastic hard working individuals who do their absolute best to give you the best experience possible. The snack bar is a great spot if you need a meal as well. The prices are very fair considering the quality of the lanes, and the supplies given to you to play, such as balls and shoes. This is a must visit area for new Fairfield residents or people vacationing in the area

It’s a good bowling alley. There’s a lot of lanes which I’m sure helps during the busier times. They’ve got a good variety of things to eat and drink. They’ve got cool bowling balls that you can use. The workers are polite. The place is very clean.

20-30 years ago or so, there was a number of bowling centers in Fairfield County that had both league and open bowlers. In the current year of 2019 Nutmeg Bowl essentially outlasted pretty much all of other bowling centers in Fairfield County. There's still another center, but they no longer have leagues just overpriced open bowling. That allowed Nutmeg to focus on keeping their league bowlers satisfied while still servicing open bowlers in a quality manner. The center is as clean as a bowling center with so much traffic. Inside of Nutmeg Bowl is likely the best Pro Shop and boredom supply warehouse that services the entire country. I initially wanted to give it 4 stars because they don't have ceiling fans, but that's not their fault as the ceiling isn't high enough to install ceiling fans. That's really the only negative, but that's an issue out of their control. So, 5 out of 5 stars is appropriate based on everything I listed. Ralph Cerminara

This alley has a great vibe for bowling, family fun, and great staff. The New Year’s celebration they had was a lot of fun and great deal on bowling, shoes, and food! They served pasta, pizza, salad, sandwiches, hors d’oerves, sodas, there’s a bar, great clean and new shoes, fun and innovative screens and scoring system, and the bumpers are extremely easy to operate for each individual player.

Thursday bowling is $15 an hour per lane regardless of the number of people. If you have 4 and are on a double date night you can't beat that. You can get 3 or 4 games easlily in an hour if you hustle but if you want to relax they only charge you for time played; meaning if you play for an hour and 30 min they charge $22.50 for the lane. You don't jump to a full hour. The drinks are watered down so bring an flask.

Shame on you !!! So greedy! To start, they wont let any outside food or drink in, which is understandable. However, they are charging ridiculous prices for drinks! Almost 5 dollars for a soda, using the smallest cups, and the most ice possible. But the worst part for me that made me leave a bad review is -- I already spent near 20 bucks by the end of the night, just on sodas and they have a water fountain attached to the wall, so I decide just take a sip from the fountain and wait until I left because I had a drink in the car. I go to press the button on the fountain, only to find out it is shut off!! They don't even want you to be able to get even a sip of water because that means you may not buy another drink! I have never seen any place be that greedy that they would shut off the water fountain, just to sell more drinks, ever in my life! No it was not "out of service", it was shut off clearly. Basically monopolizing the drinks to the point where you literally HAVE TO buy their drinks or risk dehydration. Such a shame, I used to go at least four times a month but I am sad to say I don't think I will be returning! Shameful. Shame on Nutmeg Bowl.

DO NOT EXPECT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE! NEVER RETURNING!! Bowling was fun with colleagues, until the end. We, being great citizens, stopped at one hour like we were instructed. We took a few seconds to put all the balls away, picked up the trash, then proceeded to wait in line to pay. There were several kids checking out one at a time on one side of the counter so we stood at the other side. There were people behind the counter but they made us wait. Then finally Charles decided to attend to us. Because we waited in line, NO FAULT OF OURS, our time was now one hour and SIX minutes. I did not agree with the 6 minute charge for the additional dollars.

Like the bowling experience (Cosmic Bowling) but had to wait 40 minutes to bowl. The music selection was good, uptempo and clean. The price was good at $18 for 1 hour and 1/2 which included the shoes. A must try.

Had a birthday party here for our son. They had fun bowling, but staff wouldn't even give us a pitcher of water. As we were leaving, we were treated to one employee verbally abusing another and threatening violence. Our son learned some new vocabulary.

Definitely enjoyed! The features on the screen were fun to choose from! The food was good as well, regular bowling food! Nothing too fancy. The environment was very chill even on a Friday night. We stayed until they closed and there was no inclination that we had to leave after we finished using the lane. Very COMFORTABLE place to hang out and relax.

Had a really great time at this bowling alley! They have an amazing deal on Groupon right now that works on Saturdays, you just need to be there before 10pm. They had glow in the dark games and ran diffrent bowling games while we were there. They have about 30 lanes. Has a small snack/food section to buy drinks or food. A little on the older side, nothing like a Bowlmor, but you get what you pay for and overall had a great time. I imagine it would be a great spot for a childs birthday...
