Clean, fun, great atmosphere. Was there for a special occasion on a Thursday afternoon and there seemed to be a seniors league going on but it had no negative effect on us. The food was decent too.

The diner is expensive and not worth it. $16 for nachos and cheese with guacamole. Save your money and eat elsewhere. They are also very misleading with their items and prices. Verify the price of your order before getting anything.

Bowling was good, place was nice enough, door and beer was good too, there was only a 20 min wait. Need to go back tomorrow to check the receipt. Was double charged for shoes on 4 of 8 of us after we split from 1 lane to 2. Also not sure we got the pay for 2 get third free game special ...... Will up the stars if I get this sorted out tomorrow.

The lanes are oiled nicely. The staff in the Pro Shop are very helpful, with a good choice of balls to purchase. You can't beat the price on their "specials" that are offered throughout the week. I've been bowling there for about two months and I'm very satisfied!

Not allowed down the stairs with regular shoes or beverages. I get on the wood bowling part but not the laminate. Very disappointed

I went here for a tornament and almost all the lanes were chipped or broken. I was on 10 separate lanes and each one broke down, marked the score wrong or my ball got stuck at least 10 times! It was ridiculous.

Our lane wasn't working properly, every time someone got a strike or a spare the machine would mess up and not count it, or reset the score. Almost every time we bowled something would go wrong, sometimes resulting in a majority of the pins not resetting properly. The cafe was also closed, and most of the vending machines and arcade games were broken. We told the clerk about the situation, and her reply was "it happens all the time". Overall it was one of the worst bowling alley I've ever been to.

Lane we used was hopelessly broken; pin setter frequently dropped an empty rack and was difficult to reset. Keyboard was disconnected from its podium and hung onto it by a few wires. However, staff was really nice.

Lane was ok we had to keep going up to tell them the ball was getting stuck. The shoe rental was a little high for an old beat up pair of bowling shoes. The restaurant in the bowling alley closed before the alley. All in all it was ok for a Wednesday night.

Spent the day here for a bowling tournament and was satisfied with my time there. Being right off of 395 made the alley very easy to find. The prices for bowling seemed fair and the food seemed to be fairly priced. Also, the pro-shop seemed to have fair pricing, some items cheaper than you would see online, making a quick purchase before a squad less burdening. Some prices were a bit high, in the shop but generally decent. The building itself and some of it's accents are visibly dated, but that doesn't change the fact that this place was still a decent place to go and bowl.

Great new lanes! Would be 5 stars if not for the fact that they did not offer price per game. We pre-paided 1 hr for 2 people = $30. There are 32 lanes and only 6 lanes in use. They placed another couple on the lane next to us. We only bowled 2 games in 1 hour. Manager was great when I talked to her about it and offered to extend our time to get in a the third game. We declined on principle. The other couple was in a league there so they paid $3 per game. We were not offered the same rate but we bowl in a league in Groton. The place is not busy on Saturday afternoon and the bar doesn't open until 5PM. If the place was packed, I am sure the bar would be open. Suggestion: change your policies, offer price per game, open the bar at noon, spread people out, and give younger people a reason to start bowling again by making it fun!!!

We went on a Sunday afternoon. The lanes weren't crowded at all and the prices were good. I think it was just over $30 for 4 of us. Theres food, a bar, and an arcade. We will definitely plan on spending more time next time we go.

My fiancee is not a good bowler but I figured we'd have a good time if the bumpers were up. They told us we were too old to use the bumpers, so instead of a fun night of knocking down pins we had a frustrating experience. I do not believe we will be returning any time soon. We should be able to use bumpers if we want to, regardless of our age or bowling experience.

kind of looks like a dump from the outside but inside is nicer plus low cost for bowling and shoe the have a discounted bowling day and night deals so go and check it out its worth a trip for yourself or for the family

Did a 6 year olds birthday party there. Kids had a great time and the staff took care of everything except buying the cake and ice cream. Great experience. Hour of bowling, hour in the room for pizza, cake and presents, then on to the game room with some tokens provided.

I am sorry to say that I was there to certify their new lanes with a youth bowler who wanted to learn and help out. Unfortunately, the manager told me that the young man who helped certify Norwich the lanes two years ago would not be allowed to help out. Needless to say, I was upset with Julie, the manager. As a long time lane inspector, I was angry that she would not respect my selection of a youth to help out. I respect her right to decide who may inspect her lanes, however this is not growing the sport of bowling. We do not have any youth sanctioned bowlers wanting to help out so when one volunteers I was extremely elated. The fact that the manager had a problem with him is a sad commentary for encouraging youth to get involved in lane certification. I hope the manager will take the time to explain her actions, the next time I am at Norwich.

Still my favorite bowling alley but perhaps I'm just being nostalgic. Used to have a great breakfast restaurant inside but time has taken its toll on this place as well as anything and everything else in Norwich so if you have a choice avoid the entire area at all costs if not then you could do worse at least regarding the bowling aspect.

Lanes were great and equipment all worked well. Staff was nice. Reasonably priced. The interior and exterior was in the process of getting a face lift. Does not look appealing from the outside but go inside try some bowling .

I would bowl here more, but like somebody else said, the facility is in serious disrepair. Cardboard has been taped to the floors. This is to prevent glue from the ancient floor tiles from damaging your shoes. There's still glue all over mine. This was supposed to be a temporary fix, but I don't see any progress toward a permanent solution. I won't buy anything new (shoes, balls, etc.) because anything I'd buy would just be ruined in this environment. Hardly any of the scoring devices work. They had no one to take food orders at the kitchen counter tonight. Lane conditions vary wildly. The pool room was destroyed in the last storm. There are constant mechanical issues. Everything's dirty. I fear this alley won't be around much longer if a serious investment is not made. Look at your competition. I'll gladly offer a more positive review once some progress is made. The staff is friendly, for the most part.

This is a fun weekend activity for family and friends to do, 1 game/ match last for about an hour of fun, and when you are finished bowl there is an arcade which for about $20 for 2 people you can have another our of fun with leftover tokens and use your tickets to get prizes.
